I received glasses about 2 or 3 weeks ago tried to wear them for over a week straight. I cant see well out of them. My vision is doubled. I cant read upclose or far away. They even gave me headaches and made me vomit and feel dizy. Aslo when I did the original visit I had the smallest selection of eye glasses to pick from I have ever been offered through full medicaid. Very disappointing! I even paid out of pocket 50$ for these glasses and they are wrong. I called and told them my perception was wrong and I needed to be examed again. Went in for my appointment today and an eye doctor wouldnt see me and had a man who wasnt an eye doctor do nothing for me. Now I have to go in for a third visit and they cant get me in for over a month to do so. Very frustrating and I feel my time was wasted.

The staff here are so nice, and kind! They treat me with so much respect, and makes me feel heard, seen, and appreciated. I love it!

I been coming To General Optical for quite some time and within the last two years of me spending a lot of money on eyewear for me and my family has been nothing but the worst experience. The staff does not explain properly what you’re paying for when you’re thinking you’re paying for one thing you’re getting something else. If Zero was an option for a rating you would get that. I’m sorry but I will not be patronizing General Optical any more.

Ive been going to this general optical since I was a kid. The last two times Ive visited there it was horrible service and they were very rude except the guy doing the eye exams and when I got ready to decide which frames I wanted he just totaled everything out didnt discuss with me the price of what I was paying for its like everyone there dont want to be bothered, but youre in the wrong field for that. So Ill probably be changing to somewhere different in the future...

Called to let them know I had a appointment from the beginning it was ghetto the front desk lady said I wasn’t on the schedule which I was i told her what I was in for she said I was in for another reason I Was in for just an eye exam in the middle of waiting two of the workers started to argue one of the young ladies started to cuss the other worker out calling her all types of bad names( while the patients are waiting to be seen) the other worker just walked away and grab the patient while the other girl continues to cuss her out as she’s walking with the patient very ghetto and unprofessional

This is the first time I went there and ordered eyeglasses. I think that they are over priced. I will not go there again for my eyeglasses.

I went to Dr Vissor my whole life untill he retired and then I was a patient of Dr Moore SR, he was great and my eyes are a real challenge. I moved to Florida and Dr Moore retired. I couldnt find anyone in Florida to fit me correctly with gas perm contact lenses. I flew back to Flint and was treated awesome by Dr Davies and Dr Moore Jr. They are excellent Drs and finally I can see. Thank you so much and I highly recommend General Optical!
