Store looks great lots of options, greeted right away and it was very quick to get started, the employee measured my feet and was able to instantly tell that the shoes I was wearing were wrong for me (which they were and I was surprised he noticed so quick)He said he would go grab some stuff that should fit my wide feet and they all fit really good and all having their own sorta feel, so I was able to get exactly what felt best for me!Most of the shoes seemed to cost about $130 to $150 dollars, so they are a little pricey but I was willing to spend a bit more on a solid pair of shoes and ultimately was totally worth it because the shoes fit so darn well.I dont know the name of the employee who was working with me but he did a really great job, gave off really good vibes and was very knowledgeable.I would definitely recommend this shoe store to anyone whos interested in comfortable walking/running shoes, if I ever need shoes again I will check here first. =)

Complete Runner is an unexpectedly GREAT running store in Flint. Employees are runners themselves, and they understand their extensive line of shoes. Im an experienced runner, and I know what Im looking for, but Im usually up for trying out something new, at least inside the store. After talking with me briefly, the young gentleman who was helping me brought out several different brands and styles to try. Some of the brands were new to me, and I appreciate that the store carries such a wide variety. The two guys who were working that day filled me in on how to get connected with the running community in Flint. Highly recommend this store!

I started running 5 years ago. I knew nothing about shoes. I bought stuff off the clearance rack at a department store at first. When I got serious about running I went to another local running shoe store that treated me like I was a bother to them. I ended up injured, which was my own fault, because I was running in a vacuum of information. I read a negative review of that other store that mentioned how much better Complete Runner was, and the rest is history. The first thing I’ll say about Complete Runner is that they listen. They are going to ask you questions, evaluate you and give you confidence that you’re matched with the right shoes. I have learned so much about running from the staff. Every Thursday there are group runs from the store (all year-round!), sometimes hosted by brand representatives who bring demo shoes to try out. Everyone is really friendly and loves to share their passion for running. I’ve bought 15 pairs of shoes from Complete Runner and have zero regrets. It’s worth making the trip to see the difference a professional store can make.

Friendly, competent, and no in-your-face tactics.I am new to running, and they were very patient. I bought a new pair of shoes that were comfortable in the store, but ended up killing my feet after only two runs.I figured I had wasted my money, since I tried them on in the store and had used them twice. But I took them back anyway just to see what they would say. They took the shoes back with no problems, and then found me another pair that feel wonderful. Thats the sort of service that earns you a repeat customer.

I made a random call to the Complete Runner at Court and Dort Hwy. I merely asked for a specific shoe for my granddaughter and gave an explanation why I need that shoe. They did not have it - but asked for my name and number to check in to it. This was not my request but Jason volunteered. Soon I received a call back from Antonino. Both of these gentleman went over and above to take care me a random call to their store. They were concerned about my granddaughter being fitted with the proper shoe and fit! This service is not common these days but I tell you that I will no longer be going to the competition! Thank you

I’m a nurse who stands on my feet at least 10-12 hours out of the day. I’ve experienced back, leg, and feet pain for the past year. I went to complete runner and I am happy to say it was the best decision I could have made. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in finding me the perfect shoe size to improve my mobility and offered support for my feet and back. I love my new pair of HOKA!

My son needed shoes for MCOLES training/testing (Police officer) and he was only home for a long weekend. Not only did they take care of his order by virtually recommending a shoe, they delivered it right to my house! I went to another running shoes store near my home and was less than impressed. I found this store online and I am so happy that I drove that extra 10 miles! Larry was professional, Larry was knowledgeable, Larry was patient, Larry needs a raise!! I walked out of that store with the most comfortable tennis shoes Ive ever owned!! I have been running off and on for a long time. I came across Complete Runner few years back and learned more about running gear, methods, and training for longer races. I was not keen on running races till I met Mr. Curtis Thompson. He really convinced me that I could do long distance running. He and his staff worked with me and guided me about using proper running shoes. That made a big difference. Recently I attended a Good Form Running clinic and that dramatically improved my running times and efficiency. So far I have done several long distance races and I thank Mr. Curtis Thompson for the same.Curtis and his staff are very friendly. Everything needed to run or walk is available. I particularly like the Brooks brand shoes for walking. I have a narrow foot that is hard to fit. Staff were helpful in finding a perfect fit.

Jason was fantastic! Really hooked me up on some solid shoes, socks and info on their Thursday night run/walk group.

I started working out recently, and developed Plantar Fasciitis. This was a serious downer as I was forced to stop job, it hurt even to walk. After some research on line, it suggested trying Hoka Shoes. I Google sellers and found Complete Runner. When I arrived, Jason the salesman, did a foot imprint, and watched how I walked. He suggested I try several pairs, the 1st being the Hola Bondis. Im not kidding when I say, the pain immediately went away, since then I have abandoned all my other shoes, even my work shoes which Hoka also makes in the Bondy style. I now have 4 pairs for all occasions. Thanks to Jason I have been able to continue working out and Im proud to say Ive lost 30 pounds so far just by being able to do my work outs without pain.
