Just had new HVAC system installed. The installers were very good and respectful toward home & cleaned up very well. Our salesperson Travis gave us a very fair deal. Had 4 estimates and they were the best for product and pricing. It was a very good experience and would highly recommend.

My parents just had a refrigerator delivered. There were issues getting the water shut of for the install--which was quite distressful for my parents. The delivery men waited for me to get there to get that issue straightened out. They were patient, friendly, and efficient. I really appreciated how they handled everything.

I had them install new A/C. They did a beautiful, professional job. I thought the old installation was well done until I saw Recker and Beorgers work. They made the old installation look like amateur hour.The people were also awesome, clean organized and efficient. I will DEFINITELY use them again!

January 2010 I bought new heat pump and air handler system approximately $5300 with a 10 year parts and labor warranty . Did yearly maintenance check every year replacement system . January 2020 about a week after my warranty expired had issue with heat pump same technician came out told me it would be $695 to repair he recommended new unit $7300 . He’s trying to get me to buy a new unit . $495 of the $695 would be just the charge to install the two parts Plus approximately $110 for the parts and then a $50 fee to go pick up the parts + 2nd service call is how they came up with $695, after doing some investigation on the Internet I found the parts for under $50 and installed those two parts myself in about 40 minutes after being a customer for 10 years I felt like they were screwing me, I will never deal with Recker & Boerger again,

We looked online at Lowes and Home Depot for a reasonably priced dishwasher. After checking Recker and Boergers website, we decided to stop there first. We were greeted immediately upon entering. The salesman gave us a rundown of the dishwashers and gave us some space to look around and check pricing. We noticed a scratch and dent model well within our price range which we purchased but not before he checked other stores for one in a different color. They even offered a warranty! Ill be checking back for our future appliances.

Great prices on appliances. Vary fair and deliver is great. I feel like I am dealing with a family business they are so personal. I will certainly buy more appliances here.

I didn’t get far. The sales man was extremely not motivated to sell. My husband and I came in totally ready to buy appliances for our whole kitchen and the sales man did not get up from his chair and said appliances were not available to order and was very discouraging. I told him we had estimates from Home Depot and Lowe’s and wanted to compare. What a disappointment! He shook his head as we walked out at us.

We bought a GE dryer on 4/6/2019 from the dream street location in Florence. In and out in no time thanks to them having a great salesman who asked what we were looking for and took us right to what we needed. ( DK is his initials ) The delivery guys came, and without me asking, removed door from new dryer and turned it around so it opened from the left. Makes doing laundry easier that way! They thought of the little things that i wouldnt have and i appreciate it!! Very happy customer!!

Terrible customer service. Called to ask about service and explained my issue. Gave all the info for my ac unit and the rep responded with well that doesnt help me at all. I understand everyone is having ac issues, its the spring, but being rude to people trying to give you money to fix something isnt acceptable. Will not be calling this company in the future. Its a shame to because this company has some of the better ratings in the area regarding techs.

Lets start this with the fact I did not purchase my appliances through Recker ond Boerger, and that was a mistake. The installation of my new kitchen appliances from another company was a nightmare. It took at least 4 visits to my house (one more today, hope that is the last one). Why I am writing this is that I wrote to R&B to ask for help and if they would be willing to send their team out to install things correctly, and not only did Jim correctly identify all of the problems with the install, he worked with his team to quote me a reasonable price to take care of installing my appliances correctly. I will always come back to Recker and Boerger for appliance purchases in the future. The lesson learned, gift cards to CostCo should be spent on bulk foods and household paper needs.

I purchased a scratch and dent refrigerator and stainless steel stove here. Both are fantastic. The delivery was easy and hassle free and the prices were the best I could find for what I was looking for. They even moved my old equipment to my basement for me. I couldnt be happier and neither could my family!

Went to this place thinking I was getting superior service. Only-to find out it was lip service. Once they had my purchase money they sort of left me in the cold. The installers were useless and left things incomplete. When calling to have things fixed they put me off as much as possible. Bad experience.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. These guys are the WORST! Bought a dryer here only because Home Depot and Lowes both had 2+week delivery times...big mistake. The dryer didnt come with a cord nor was I told I needed to specifically request a power cord. When I called Don about it he acted like I was dumb and said that dryers dont come with power cords and thats common knowledge. He said someone would drop one off by the end of the day. That was at 930am. By 5pm no one was there so I called and was told that they couldnt get to me today and would try tomorrow. I asked if I could just come get a cord or if one of them could bring it to me but with them closing soon neither one of them felt like they needed to so the right thing and instead someone from the delivery team would try to get me in the next day. No thanks Ill take my business else where. This is a small business and they have really poor customer service. Went to the sears outlet and they were fabulous. Too many stores sell appliances to waste time on this place!

Great to work with while buying the appliances. When they were delivered, fabulous delivery guys, went above and beyond. However when I washed my first load of laundry......all hot water. No cold water at all. Called and talked to Mr. Flood, of course they couldnt get anyone out to fix the problem until at least the next day. He was very rude to me on the phone, after I had bought two appliances and two pedestals for my washer and dryer. I went there against my family thoughts, and was totally satisfied, until I spoke with Mr condescending Flood, after the sale. Will never go there again, because of his customer service.

Working with Recker & Boerger (family owned company for many years) has been an amazing experience! When I purchased a stove the delivery was very timely and the rep that I worked with was excellent!

After spending waaaay too much on a washer at a big box store, i decided to shop local. Got straight answers. Didnt feel like i was being upsold. Very happy with the washer i bought and the delivery process.

Our dishwasher quit working after 18 years of service so we went to a ‘well known hardware, carpet, paint, furniture, you know the kind’ store. This is a very long story so I will jump to the end. After 31/2 months yes I said months. On the day we said to them we would be in to get our money returned they told us The dishwasher would be in tomorrow. Needless to say we told them ‘we have had enough we want our money that you have had in your bank for over 31/2 months’.Check in hand we drove to The Florence Store of Recker & Boerger, bought the dishwasher and it was installed two days later.Since then our refrigerator quit working so we went straight to Recker & Boerger and bought a refrigerator. NEVER EVER WILL WE BUY HERE AGAIN! Ordered stove and refrigerator. Refrigerator was scratched and dented decided we would keep it anyway with a minimal discount. Unfortunately our salesman ordered the wrong size even though we said it could be no wider than 35 and 1/2 inches he ordered 35 & 7/8ths. Wouldnt fit, they completely destroyed my old fridge removing it out and even though I asked for extra care while moving appliances as we just recently painted our walls, they gouged deep scratches and nicks in the doorway and hall. The salesman could only get another one out 4 days later! So we have no refrigerator at all now! We also told salesman our stove was direct wired and we would need male and female wiring. He said no problem the delivery guys will take care of it. Uhm...no they wont theyre not allowed to. If, and believe me we tried, we couldve found another refrigerator anywhere else that coukd be delivered sooner ir even 4 days later we would have sent the entire mess back and sued them for damages to our walls. Which if they dont fix it they will be sued for. I think the thing that set me off the most was the salesmans comment of needing to get off the phone cause he had customers in the store. Well...what was I? We were paying customers...but since they had our $ suddenly were less important. Went here because we wanted to support smaller businesses, and was hoping for better customer service than big box stores offer! What a joke! They were the worst company Ive ever purchased appliances from in my 61 years. Now...Im trying to find corporate phone numbers to see if corporate cares more than their employees. Ive reviewed this in every place I can and am even thinking of of notifying media. Im sick of businesses delivering damaged goods or wrong goods and instead of doing whats right they get agravated and not helpful....There is no pride in products and services any more and no satisfaction when a problem arises. Oh...its been real nice without a refrigerator thank you very much! Shame on ya all!

Purchased a new refrigerator at the Florence location. The sales associate that helped me and my wife was friendly and knowledgeable and we were very happy with the price. The problem arose on delivery. We had scheduled for after 4pm but they arrived at 3pm which would normally be ok but I didnt get off work till 4pm and I wanted to be there for the delivery. My wife says that as the two delivery people were taking my old refrigerator to my basement they put a gash in my wall at the top of the stairs. Now Its not a huge gash maybe 2 1/2 inches long but its deep.I know things happen and it is a heavy appliance but now I have to buy some spackle to repair it and paint the area, oh well so it goes. The delivery people did hook up my water line and they did take my old fridge to the basement and did get the new refrigerator up and going and since our experience at the show room was so good Im going with 4 stars.
