Excellent service! Wonderful food, Everything was made fresh to order. The hamburger steak plate with brown gravy, mashed potatoes, and fried okra was some of the best Ive ever had. They offer pick up, doordash, over eating, and dine inn. Overall a very country warm, welcome feeling and vibe. Thats definitely family friendly and affordable so dont worry about taking out a loan before you go. Its a must if youre in Florence Alabama

Food was good. Took a long time for them to bring us our food on a Saturday morning at 930 am. I got the meat lovers hash browns. Best sweet tea I have ever drank in my 50 years.

Its a great family diner with good salads, club sandwich, and plate lunches. Always great care from the servers.

They charged my card 2 times. And said they didnt. I use a chime card it tells u right then. Nothing to eat with in bag hot sauce .25 a little pack. Never again

The philly cheese steak sandwiches are delicious. I didn’t like the ribeye sandwich, it was bland and very fatty.

Went for the all you can eat crab legs and shrimp. Left fat and happy. Was very pleased overall. I would definitely say the crab legs were the better of the two. The grilled shrimp was the best of the three choices of shrimp. (Boiled, fried, and grilled)

Placed a pickup order and let them know upfront that I had a coupon. When I picked up the food, the coupon was handed back to me and I was told I couldn’t use it because I had ordered a special. He should’ve been told this on the phone so I could change my order. My order was also incorrect when I checked it. This is poor customer service and we won’t be back.

Great food and super friendly staff! Everyone is so helpful and makes you feel at home! The loaded baked potatoe with the fajita steak strips, grilled onions & peppers, butter & sour cream was The Bomb!!!Also, the vegetable plate I got with turnip greens, stewed squash and mac & cheese was fabulous! Oh my stars I ordered a take out yesterday of their hamburger steak gravy onions mashed taters and green beans ( my comfort food) lol and I couldnt have made it better and I do make it good ! Gonna do that meal 2x a week! Thanx Homeside and your staff for a pleasurable experience! Debbie

This place is excellent! The owner couldnt be any nicer! The staff is on point and never let out drinks get low. The food tastes absolutely delicious. We drive about 20 minutes or just to eat here. 5 stars all the way!

Food and service was really bad had chicken and dumplings. They taste like they were scorched on the bottom. A very small bowl of them everything else was cold. Want go back. We been going there for almost two years

This is place has some awesome down home southern style cooking. Not to mention the staff here is very friendly and welcoming. Prices are on the mark also! Go by and boost this little family business. I’d rather pay 7.00 here for a meat and three rather than take my 7.00 to a fast food chain that’s going to serve me cold fries and rushed service. Also, you won’t be sorry if you get a glass of their delicious sweet iced tea!

I eat here because the food is good enough quality (healthier than fastfood) and at a fair price. I feel sorry for people who pay $5 for an unhealthy Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich when you can get a whole healthy meal from Homeside for just $7. I believe the problem with Homeside is they dont pay their employees enough and they have a no brand/poor marketing. (Im a marketer.) If only they improved their business in those aspects, they could really dominate the market. The quality of the food plus the price is UNBEATABLE!!!

Food and value were good. Service was great!! My only complaint is, like with many restaurants, they only offer margarine. Margarine is one molecule from plastic and I have NO desire to ingest a carcinogen. Id even be willing to pay extra if butter was an option. We will definitely be back!!!

Placed a call in order on 1/27. I ordered a hamburger steak, onion rings, bread and salad. What I got was: dressing, fried squash, green beans and corn. Didnt realize it was wrong until I got home. Husband was not happy!

Although our server was very nice and she had a very sweet personality... It was a very cold atmosphere, not at all welcoming... I had the whole catfish... it was ok... the fries were definitely past their hold time!!! Not fresh at all!!! Definitely overall mediocre...

It doesnt look like much when you drive past, but I was practically dying of hunger I had to stop in. One of the definitions of hole-in-the-wall. I ordered the fantastic, cooked to order Hamburger Steak and my wife got the hand-breaded in-house chicken tenders. All I got to say is WOW....no words to really describe other than that. A classic Hamburger Steak cooked right and topped with Gravy and Onions. There are a ton of options available between the regular menu and the Daily Specials. Not to mention the daily $5.00, $6.00, $7.00 specials, this can seem overwhelming, but you really cant go wrong. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself! You wont be disappointed.

Today the food was excellent. We had the club sandwich and fries and sweet tea. Bacon nice and crunchy. Ham cooked perfectly. Fries hot. The server was happy and upbeat. She checked on us often. The service was alittle slower due to the covid 19 guidelines. They sanitize table, seats, chairs, napkin holders, everything between customers. Servers all had masks on. social distancing observed. Sign on front door sending everyone to side door where they seat you as tables are sanitized and occupancy rates allow.

Just brought family Friends to this family owned and operated business I’ve loved coming to! Needless to say my friends are now going to be regulars. If you want great lunch, brakefast, dinner special this is the place to come. Always fast and friends service and one of the most cost effective places to eat. With the large portions and the low prices they charge. you should try this restaurant if you haven’t already!Nothing but great things to say about this place every time

Not pleased. First place, I noticed a dead cockroach on the floor. Secondly, it was hot in there with only ceiling fans. This place has a large advertisement posted on their wall for Air and Heating. They need to have air conditioning!! So perhaps they can call the Air conditioning service. I was sweating so that my hair was wet at the back of my neck. Very uncomfortable to try having a pleasant meal which it wasnt at all. Lastly, the food I ordered wasnt cooked so one could eat it....the ham was as tough as the sole on a shoe. I should have turned around and left when I saw the roach in the first place.

Service was fast,cordial,and personable. Jacob will have me coming back again as will their Saturday deal,and I liked the look of their breakfast. Gonna have to give it a try next time.
