Buyer BewareScheme going on with the (Store Management) at the Granite Store1620 South Irby Street, Florence, SCMy sister, brother-n-law and I visited the Granite Store and picked out a very nice Granite in May 2021. Our selected Granite was picked out and we went ahead then to picked out the backsplash from another store for a complete color scheme for our home. The bathrooms were installed okay; not the best installations grading the install as a B – C at best; two months later and when it was time to install the granite in our kitchen; no one informed us they no longer had the same selected granite for our kitchen. Without a telephone call to me at all; even though she had my cell phone number; the Store Management took it upon themselves to pick a different granite for our kitchen installed which didn’t match what we had already picked out for the backsplash in our kitchen. They sell you what’s in the store showroom. When it comes down to your actual installation and you think everything is fine; they installed what they have as a substitute of an unknown selection for our kitchen installation and made the decision to select our granite without hesitation. Not being on site at the time of the installation; we learned later that day what had happened. We’re the customer who’s paying and was not given the opportunity of making a new selection of the granite for our home. Store Management made this selection based on their opinion as to what they had in stock and not that of the homeowner of what will be the closet selection, bearing our color scheme in our home.At the end and without letting me speak directly to the store owner; the Manager mentioned we had no other choice other than to pick a new granite for installation and pay again for what was their error when we never agreed on their granite selection.Every consumer should be aware of this horrible installation which has been a bad experience for us knowing they make decisions for their bottom line to get consumers to pay again when they make the decision for covering up their mistake.Their full interest is about making money and have very little interest of any efforts of providing customer services at all!

Awful service, low quality installation, poor workmanship and terrible customer service, do not shop here. Management has placed a priority on dollars and not the customer. Beware!

Purchased my granite and home flooring here. The craftsmanship was better than I anticipated. My house looks incredible and the kitchen is perfect!

I do LOT of remodels. I will say categorically that this is a great place to shop and have your counters done! I used them for my own homes kitchen counters, replacing our old granite tile with new solid granite for a HUGE improvement. Great quality and workmanship. pleasant and helpful installers and staff, good prices!

I have no idea how many projects these guys have done for me over the last 15 years... 65, 70 maybe. Working with stone is not an exact science and occasionally problems occur. This place has no management. Ordered 2 bathroom vanity granite tops. Waited 4 weeks with 5 trips to excuses of why it wasn’t done or incorrectly cut. Take your business else where and save allot of money & headaches.

Very seldom do things go perfectly. During my kitchen and bath remodeling everything seemed to be going smoothly when we hit a bump in the road. It was a very short-lived bump because the people at the Granite Store heard my concerns and quickly and efficiently solved the problem. Thank you everyone for the excellent customer service. The absolute worst customer service with constant EXCUSES and no recognition of errors. Untimely, multiple attempts to cut the granite correctly with provided templates. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

This project did not go as planned and when I called Mr. Langston to explain, he got very defensive and rude. I hung up on him because when I spend money, I want to be treated with respect and listened to. I had numerous problems today and he was not willing to listen!!

Most disrespectful and stuck up people I have ever met in my life.Absolutely don’t care about you they only care about money that’s it. I walked into their store to buy dishes for my wife for our anniversary I didn’t mind paying the greatly inflated price of $1800 for them because the lady told me they were not able to order more because they don’t make them any more but the owners were soo mean and cold and constantly swore at me but I looked past it cuz I love my wife and was wanting to make her happy but in the end I couldn’t bring myself to purchase anything from them. I called my wife realizing I was getting ripped off on all the prices she had gave me. My wife and I finally settled on one piece she was willing to give full asking price for and the lady said because I wasn’t buying the whole set then she didn’t need my money and for me to get lost. Threw me out of the store insulted me told me,“ to go back to my country” like a racist person would say to someone... I’m Italian.I will definitely buy the same set from other people don’t care if it costs me $1000 more as long as the people Were good people.The worst most arrogant people I have ever met.the husband and wife that run the pawn shop in front and granit store in the back were such terrible people that I walked out of first the pawn shop because the man had an Attitude not fit for retail especially if he was trying to sell somthing. Not knowing that I would only run into a worse problem in the back at the granit store.These people are lucky I do not seek legal action for being racist.

Poor quality materials, incomplete installers, nonexistent customer service.Incorrect measurements taken by The Granite Store staff. Poor quality instalation, no management available to address the multitude of issues.Reduce stress and save your money, go somewhere else.
