I have been looking for the perfect & affordable home for quite some time. Marty Wright has beautiful homes & they have a knowledgeable staff that is eager to help. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by Porchia. She has the friendliest attitude & she walked with me to view the different homes within my budget. She was very knowledgeable & friendly - she made a long & difficult process not so long & difficult. She gave me full communication throughout the entire process, which was something I needed being a first time home buyer. Whenever I walk in, I am instantly greeted by everyone. Would not recommend. Doesn’t get back to you on half the question, reels you in and then everything that they are supposed to do, you will probably whine up doing. Ex. Water meter, 911 address, etc. they charge you extra for them and then you are basically working. It is almost impossible to get a supervisor to call you back. Ashley always has excuses on why you have to do it and she can’t or why she doesn’t have an issue completed usually because she doesn’t feel like driving out to Said county. Would have given no stars but would definitely not recommend.

Quite a few models, but were similar to other Marty locations, plus sales people like to accompany you, which I find irritating, just let me look at everything I feel like. Homes need at least numbering and model / manufacturer name so it can be identified when needing information afterwards, instead of oh that grey one, over there behind the brown one type of thing..... Its not that difficult.

Working with Derrick Bullard was the best part of getting our new home. He was very straight forward and honest. When I call he answered, or called right back. If we had a problem he tried his best to get it right.

When we first started visiting the idea of getting a new place, I wanted to go to Marty Wright Home Sales of Florence, Sc. We went and looked around and I was determined that I was going to go with them, especially knowing they were Christians.. During the process of getting the paper work done one of our daughters passed away. Theyare very friendly, when you first start out. After starting on everything, paying the deposit, etc.. it seemed we were not important. Our phone calls went unanswered and couldnt get the answers we needed. Our oldest daughter is also buying a home. We tried to get her to use Marty Wright Home Sales. I am so glad she didnt. I am hoping & praying that when our home is delivered that everything goes well because if not we wont get a return call about the issues. God is good all the time and He has it under control. My husband basically told me not to call back because it shouldnt feel like we are harassing them. Please explore your options. Dont feel like you are unimportant or that your business is not wanted.UPDATE: Since I first done the review 6 days ago, Derek Bullard (one of the main reasons I wanted to go to Marty Wright Homes) and Ashley both have reached out. They both wanted to make sure we were up to date on what was going on. Our home was actually pulled out today. I texted Derek to let him know it was here out of curiosity. Ashley actually called my husband to touch base with him to see if we had any questions and to let us know what the next steps are. I was very pleased. All in all things are moving smoothly now. I do understand things happen sometimes and I should have maybe given them the chance to come through. They are very kind people. Derek was also very understanding and kind when we informed him of our daughters death. Buying a home is stressful however. Sometimes things are out of peoples hands. I can tell you when they find out something is wrong they do try and make it right.
