Awful experience in the store today. I have been going in this store for years and was always greeted nicely but there was ONE salesperson that was so aggressive that it really made me very uncomfortable.

Its just ok. It feels cluttered and where things are have no rhyme or reason. It might just be me, and its 100% my opinion, but everything is completely way over priced. Some really nice items there though and the one lady that worked there that spoke to me seemed nice.

Bought jewelry here a month or so ago.. Have a lot of beautiful furniture to see too. I want to return to take closer look at entire store. Extremely kind and attentive to me. It’s a consignment store so previously owned goods, but beautiful condition. Unusual pieces too. Fun to take a look at.

Well what can be said. Used contemporary furniture for good money. If you are careful and enjoy the hunt you might get a deal on a high end piece.

Lots of variety and choices at this store with good customer service. Jewelry department is too pricey for used/estate jewelry. As a seller, payments for consigned items that have been sold take about a month or so afterwards to be mailed to the seller, which seems unnecessarily too long.

Wide variety of very nice home furnishings. Prices are very reasonable compared to new. Plus, some of the furniture is really hard to find in stores. This is Quality furniture made of real woods! So many different styles. Sales staff are really nice too!

The new jewelry department owner is a crook. After having a ring consigned for over 6 months he called me to let me know that one of the stones was missing and asked me to pick up the item. He said replacing the stone would not be worth it. After trying to reason with him and having him take the responsibility for the missing stone, he became angry and unproffessional. I will not be consigning with this store until the owner changes to somebody trustworthy.

Should train staff to be friendlier to guest, when your taken in merchandise or not. Might be hard to tell folks @no thanks”for your items, still need to communicate to them. Just walking away seems a little strange.

The center sent someone out to look at my possible consignments. Later, I received an e-mail that they were acceptable. It ended up that I did take them to the consignment store, but I really appreciate the service. I will definitely use them next time I have a piece to sell! Thank you.

Extremely poor quality items that are extremely over priced for what they are. The staff is extremely unreasonable in the sense they make you feel unimportant and are unwilling to negotiate on pricing for the clients and customers. Terrible customer service. Very impolite and disrespectful to customers. The staff members do not help customers at all. Everything is overpriced: I have seen most of these items before and the prices were extremely unreasonable---priced over original. The store was cluttered, and not properly organized. It was quite a mess. I could barely get through this store. It was hard to tell what was for sale and what was not becasuse when I asked for a price for items, the staff said some items were Not for SALE. It was not polite to say this in such annoyed and rude manner considering the items were displayed with other items that were for sale. I found a couple items, but the staff made me decide not to purchase them--why would I want to contribute to a store were its staff are disrespectful, rude, and unhelpful.

The people at Home Consignment- Folsom were very interested in our needs. They explained how their business works and what to expect and when to expect it. If you call another consignment store that is not interested in your items please call Home Consignment-Folsom. Theres a good chance they will come through for you.

This store used to be bustling with product and customers. The staff now seems to be all new so familiar faces are gone, along with most of the inventory. Whats remaining seems to be a cross of mostly consigned new product from vendors whereas in the past one could find quality pieces consigned from residences and model homes. In result, just another store loading up with accessories and low quality furniture from China. Please return to a consignment store!

This store has some really fantastic items and everytime I stop in the inventory is different. I find the best one of a kind items, my friends are all jealous.

First time I used the Consignment cCenter. Handled promptly, with greatcustomer service. About 3 1/2 weeks later was delighted to receive amail in the check. They had sold my kitchen ceiling light. I had a smileon my face the entire day. Thanks Consignment Center. Ill be comingback.

This store used to be one of our favorites. They used to have so many high end and unique used furniture items in the store. They have changed and really should be classified as New furniture now as they have very little in the way of used good consigned furniture. I would say 90% of their inventory is used knock-off furniture of poor quality. WE NO LONGER shop at this store.

This is a fun store to shop in as customer, but as a seller, I would only use this method as a last resort. You are required to give them 50% of your sales. Which they do explain to you in advance. I opted to have my large furniture picked by a delivery service provided by the store. I was told the cost for that is $75/hr. Which is steep, and actually ended up costing me $125 because they counted the cost to get to my house from the store and then back and included the time it took them unload my items at their store. So my sales at the end of it for my large furniture was minimal and felt like i should have just gave it to charity for the amount of the check I received. But, again, I want to be clear that they did tell me about all the cost, etc in the beginning. Except I didnt expect the delivery to be higher than the $75.

I came to this store early in the summer 2016 for the first time. The very first thing i noticed was the versatility of selection of furniture as well as pictures, paintings, accent pieces, lamps and more. The prices are incredibly low for the quality, such that I dont believe you will find anything close out there when compared to new or even other discount stores. After that, I have to say that the entire staff are some of the friendliest, personable, professional and knowledgeable individuals, who make up the staff. Including the guys that handle the moving around and taking furniture in on consignment. My 2 personal favorites are Brenda and Brian! I have both bought and sold on consignment furniture as well as other items, and have never had a better experience than here. Everything is organized, layed out well, warm and inviting, and there are always several staff readily available to help with any and all of your needs, whether you are buying, selling, or need help in knowing what would fit your needs, you will quickly develop an addiction to this store! Thank you for all that youve done for our family! We love you guys!

I am very disappointed with this consignment store. I brought a lounge chair into the store to be sold. It was in excellent condition. I signed a contract and left the store to have the owners sell the chair. Three days later they told me to come get the chair. The said they could not sell the chair because it was not a lazy boy chair and that it had some kind of defect.I had rented a truck to deliver the chair which cost me $67.00 in the first place and I was not going to rent a truck again to pick up the chair.The owners offered me a $50 gift certificate but I would much rather buy my furniture from a thrift store where the proceeds go to a charitable cause.

I got a really great deal on an aquamarine and diamond ring for my girlfriend. I only put a hundred down and they held it for me for over 30 days.My Gal was so excited to get it! It woud have cost me thousands at a jewler but i got it for only $650.00.Very nice people, easy to work with. I also bought some furniture on two other occasions and very, very happy!

We consigned the majority of our home furniture, fixtures and artwork to Home consijgnment. They did an amazing job from picking it up on schedule, to pricing it fairly to getting it sold. We cant thank the entire team enough as they made it all so simple. Not only that, we got our checks in a timely manner throughout the 90 day window. Thank you!!!!

I didnt have the best experience here. We had furniture picked up (entry table, dining set with buffet, glass and metal shelving units). The dining set pieces were not displayed together so customers werent aware of what was in the set. The entry table went missing. We went in 3 times to look for it with staff. Because they couldnt find it, they dropped the price and we got half. Checks didnt come as I was told, so I made several calls or went in and was told they had to talk to the corporate office. Checks finally came in the mail. Frustrating experience. .I wont use them again.

I will rate this place with 4 stars because of their huge selection of used furniture. I was impressed with the variety of pieces and the size of their showroom.However, at the prices they were selling USED furniture for, you might as well buy brand new. I did not make a purchase on my visit because of this factor.

I bought a very expensive large area rug. It wasnt as large as I wanted so I hesitated to buy it on the spot. The store worked with me so I put it on a 24 hour hold until I could measure my area to see if it would be suitable. It was, so I called the next morning to say Ill buy it & that I would need to P/U within a week. As I was leaving the store they stuck the hold sign on it & I just mentioned it was covered with lint balls (probably from shampooing it). When I picked it up it was obvious they had taken it down, vacuumed it & rehung it. It was in perfect shape when I arrived to pick it up. I did not request or suggest that service from them. They just did it. Before loading it in a truck (it was lightly raining) they folded it & wrapped it in plastic so not to get wet, again without requesting that service. They were just terrific. The price was fantastic compared to new prices. It looked brand new after vacuuming it. I am happier than a clam about the whole shopping/purchasing process & ecstatic about the extremely high quality large area rug.I do agree with the reviewer that wrote, the store is full of cheaply made new or staging (barely used) furniture. I wish they had more used furniture available but they need inventory to make sales when they cant get more used furniture. If they cut their commission they probably could get more used furniture. Their commission is a lot to ask from the owners/consignees.

We owned quality items but no longer had the perfect place for them in our home. They needed a new good home. We thought about garage sales and didnt think that was the way to go. We had used HCC-Folsom in the past, with excellent and swift results, and immediately contacted them again. Their lovely sales representative traveled to our home, looked at what we had (this time, an authentic rattan headboard, dresser, nightstand set; a love seat, and rattan/wrought iron bar stools), and said HCC-Folsom could sell them. They kept us informed when any of the items sold, and mailed our checks to us quickly. It was, once again, a convenient and easy way to sell our furniture quickly, and receive the most in return monetarily. We will always call HCC-Folsom first!
