Always ask for Paul. Never doubted his advice, very reputable and he was always realistic with time estimates. Will be a loyal customer as long as he works there.
I just called the service department of Folsom Lake Toyota. I spoke with Betty. Betty was absolutely outstanding! Betty was professional, caring, listened very well, and in my opinion went above and beyond to reach my service advisor. I would give Betty a huge gold star. Her professionalism and her tone of voice was all about helping me as the customer. I wish every time I called into somewhere to get help I got someone like Betty!
Not only does everything including oil changes take hours out of your day but I cant wear a mask due to a health condition so they said I can wait outside for my car because masks are required inside. Its 95°out, no thank you! Amazing since every store in folsom doesnt require those with health conditions to wear one per state order.
Mr. St. Pierre aka Rocky has my respect. His customer service is bar none. His understanding of automotive servicing gives me the peaceful confidence to just drop off my vehicle and know that Folsom lake Toyota service center team will return my vehicle to me 100%.
Came in here because I had a recall notice in the mail and they took care of everything. The service advisor Gibriel was helpful and professional and took care of everything. They made dealing with this simple and straight foward.
My 2020 Toyota corolla was misdiagnosed several times at this location by the mechanics. Growling noises coming from the engine as well as vibration on the floor on a new car but they disrespectfully stated that they noises were all in my head. Fortunatelly for me, I took my car to another more reputable toyota service deparment and they found out that the transmission needed to be remounted.
My appointment was at 115pm. I dropped off at 110pm. Just need an oil change. Waiting...It was done and ready at 410! I understand mini inspections and stuff, but 3 hours? I even said Im going to wait hoping that it will be faster. My day off from work wasted on an oil change lasting 3 hours. Need improvement, speed up. Although my car was cleaned on the outside, thats a plus star. Now, paperwork....where do I begin. So many spelling mistakes. Mistake in my first name, email address, phone number. These are what I verbally gave. But wait, mistake in odometer reading by 200mi, mistake in my license plate?! Mistake in model. Seriously!? PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS! These are what you see and copy, not someone else dictating you. Any job requires attention to detail.Technician states found burned out park lights left and right. Ok, safety concern. Recommendation: replace right park light bulb. Hahaha, so the left one is ok to leave burned out. Great critical thinking, wow, #sarcasm. I go home and just in case ask my wife to get into drivers seat and I check all the lights outside. Not one burned out.Tech found both front tires abnormally worn, suggest alignment.....hmmm.... I just got new tires from Costco and alignment from bigotires, both at 135k mi, now my car is 146k mi. But then, tread depth on all 4 tires measured to be the same at 6/32. Thanks for measuring and contradicting your observation. How about found rear brakes require service. Recommendation: replace front brake pads and resurface rotors. Lol.All in all the cost of recommended services, which I declined, was $1,723.34. I was shocked, I take my car to regular maintenance and especially major maintenance at 30k 60k 90k 120k, and my next one will be at 150k........NO way I would be taking it here.Service consultant LibertyCertified technician Fuchino
Great service. never a problem with my vehicle after it leaves them
Appreciate the turnaround and attentiveness when I ordered the parts. Everyone was spaced out inside due to the pandemic. There are some cafe options including a local place within walking distance. I liked how the have a way for the customers to text the employees for status updates.
I appreciate the hospitality, keeping my car on the road, and preventive maintenance.
Just received a call to have my truck serviced. I said oh, I need service done on my car. The girl said could call back to get that scheduled and that she wouldnt help me. So weird. I guess I shouldnt be surprised at this point..
I went in this morning to get my 10k service and was helped by a gentleman named Gibriel Kargbo. He was extremely kind, respectful, and helpful. From the moment I was greeted until the moment I left, I received top notch service. Folsom Lake Toyota service center is fortunate to have him!
Took my Tacoma in for its 15k mile service. After the inspection, they told me I need my engine and cabin air filters replaced.Little did they know, I replaced my cabin air filter a little more than a month ago. I thought maybe it actually did get dirty in the month I had it. I checked the filter myself, and as you can see in the picture, its perfectly clean. It would be fine if they just told me that the change interval was due, but they said it was found to be dirty. If this dealership tells you that you need something replaced, Id recommend checking it yourself or getting a second opinion from another mechanic. Very sad, I really wanted to trust this dealership.
I usually always go to Toyota. But unfortunately this may be my last time here. Every time I go for an oil change the try to up sell me hundreds of dollars of work. Then agent we went to this time told us they cant see in the system if we had a transmission flush and if we cant remember we should do it. So they dont even check and just sell you things you dont need. My partner is a woman and I feel like they take advantage of her not knowing these things. Its sad because you think Toyota would be good about that. They asked how quick do we need it back and they never called to say it was done. We called them and they said... Oh yeah its done.Just had a really bad experience this time with other things as well
Brought my 2021 4 runner in for 5k inspection with complaint that the brakes are fading. They say brakes are fine. I’m explaining the situation again. Service advisor pamela tells my what do u want me to do about it. How bout to check more than just the pads and disk. F$&@@ really want me to crash before checkin the break system for air bubbles. Will inform corporate about that issue. Once again dealers good for nothing
I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation at 4:30pm on 6/29/19 (Sat.). The service adviser Michael was very professional. After waiting for almost 2hrs, I picked my car up. While on the way home I notice theres a crack on my windshield from the top to where the rear view mirror is installed. Then I drove back but the office was closed. Before I dropped it off the windshield was intact without any cracks. There must have been something that happened while my car was under their custody. I had a rock chip for over 8 years at the bottom but dont think I had a rock chip over there before cracking. I am not sure if the mechanic accidentally caused it. This is really bad experience. They claimed that cameras are installed everywhere. I took my car back on 7/1/19 (Mon.) in hopes of finding the reason. I will update the progress of the case in the following days.As of 9/5/19, no response has been made from this service department. I am very disappointed. Now the crack is extended to the half of windshield. I am done with this service dept. and wont return for any service any longer.
Very disappointed with the serviceI have been getting my car servicing done for my car in Toyota folsom service centre for last 9 years and i am very much disappointed with the way they handled this time, I have given my car(Tayota camry)service for my 80 K and bluetooth being not working(I needed it to fix as i am going on a road trip and i need to be able play songs) this week so i dropped my car for service and specifically told her to fix bluetoothI called few times and sent Few messages to find out the status of the vehicle and but no response for 2 hours, finally got a message that your vehicle is ready to pick up, i asked her to put me in a shuttle pickuList and sent around 5-6 mesage and called but no response, i had to book a uber and go to the service centre to get my car.Upon reaching there i asked advisor about the shuttle pick and she just said i did’t see u r messages, not even apologies for my inconvenience on top of it my Bluetooth is not fixed and did not even address the issue... ****BIG DISSAPPOINTMEMENT****
I bought my Tacoma here in 2019, and keep bringing it back for maintenance. There are 3 Toyota service centers closer to my house, but Folsom Lake has the best service and does the best job.
Its a great customer service experience 👌👍😀
Great people, service staff is very knowledgeable. The service techs work has always been good. For example Ive never had any screws are bolts missing after services and repairs. The lounge area is large with plenty of comfortable seats. Very pleasant experience every time Ive been there.
We love to come here. They know how to take care of you on professional level. Thank you all for creating for us a home experience.
Im one of the big fan of Toyota product. Normally i use Roseville Toyota service for my vehicle regular servicing. They are excellent, no complain at all. i moved close to the Folsom so i choose the Folsom Toyota service center. When i went there first time for my vehicle service, i found people are not helpful, not friendly, and not good customer service. i dont like at all. I cant believe its total different between Roseville and Folsom one. its not personal but i m not happy with their service and environment. so i change the mind. i will continue to go Roseville. I know its several mile more but i am more than happy with their quality service.
Nothing but good things to say about Folsom Lake Toyota sometimes its that one guy that makes an impression that will keep you coming back for me it was the service manager in the service department a special thanks for all your help and because of him I will continue to do business and buy cars at Folsom Lake Toyota overall it has been a 5-star experience from sales to finance to service
The staff there are very friendly and knowledgeable.
When you are here, they take care of you. Always feel like a high priority customer when Im physically there being taken care of. When I try to call with questions, or follow up on issues Ive discussed with the service technicians, I never once have gotten a call back despite leaving 6, yes 6 messages with the reception and service department. They take my name and number and tell me someone will call me by end of day. I waited literally over a month with 6 calls in during and never once got a return phone call. So yes, while there, awesome. When you need follow up work, better to go elsewhere. My latest issue was after a routine service and they noticed a screw in my tire. I was dumbfounded because I know it wasnt there before I drove the few miles it takes me to get here. They gave me a quote twice as much as my favorite tire place, Americas Tires would give me. I asked if they would price match. They said they would and to give them 2 days for the tire to get in and they would get it taken care of. Sweet! I ordered it. 3 days later, no call. I called in two times the next week, and my car is driving around with a screw in it still. No response. Finally gave up and just went to Americas Tires who then tell me, Oh, thats not worth getting a new tire over, well just patch it! Its been months since they patched it, and its like it never had a screw in it to begin with.Tire issues? Take your care to Americas Tires in Orangevale (call to get an appointment... much faster service!). Those guys will take care of you!Update 2/17/21: Jeff from Folsom Lake reached out to me. I emailed him several days ago, and yet to hear back from him. Sounds exactly like the service I had in my review. Jeff, if you emailed me back and it didnt make it through, please let me know through this review!
My go-to service dealer for my 2013 Toyota Avalon Limited Hybrid. Courteous, kind, & very explanatory of service requirements, needs, and options. Rich was of great help today! Mahalo, Rich!
It smelled funny inside. no ones was around i went back outside and called them to avoid the smell and get some information.
Checked vehicle in.Waiting now 4hrs.Went to get status.Car was ready 2 hrs ago? Said called and text.Never got call or text. Was in lobby as well, could you not come to get me? Nissan started this decline decades ago, goodby Nissan. Now Toyota is following same pattern.Goodbye Toyota.
Super fast service, nice waiting area. A+++
Folsom Toyota Service Center is great place to take your car. Wonderful customer service, knowledgeable staff and professional.
It is unfortunate that this service center cant take a second to just answer a question or return a phone call. Twice in a week and a half I called to get information on two different needs, and was transferred to no less than 3 different people, each time having to repeat myself all to be transferred to a voicemail in which apparently no one bothers to check, let alone answer. There is no excuse for not returning a call with-in a day or two. At the least train the empolyees to answer basic questions.
Super. Very good service. Thanks.
Friendly service. Good deal on tires
Just starting this service, they always do an excellent job here.
Less than 1 star!! New management sucks. Will never go there again. 6+ yes of great service. Just this 1 incident and Ill never return.
It was good.
Didnt get the car back until 6pm with a 10am appointment. Not all work was completed. Service Department staff was very helpful and kept me informed. Provided a loaner car.
Once we were all able to work out details... Chrysler had it; so they handled my frustration till. We figured it out and they even delivered my vehicle in original condition with same warranty! Made me happy to cash a little more for a vehicle I can actually use. Awesome feeling
I have been going to folsom Toyota for about 2 years now. Everytime I have gone their it has been a on organized lack of communication disaster. Most recently I had brought my truck in for a service check which turned into a 6 hour never ending mess. Keep in mind I have 7 year everything is covered warranty but since I didnt buy it at folsom toyota they give you the run a round time and time again.
I use Bruce Cann as my mechanic. He put a new engine in my sons car almost two years ago and we have had ZERO problems with it.
BEWARE: Quotes are misrepresented. Took my wifes car in to get new tires and the price she was quoted and the price that I was quoted when I brought it in were off by about $40 or so. The service writer took care of it by giving a discount on the alignment, but when I left I ended up paying about $200 more than what I expected to pay. After looking at the receipts it looks like he only quoted me the price of the actual tires (parts only). Labor charges and extra misc charges (valve stems, etc) were not included as part of the quote. I also ended up waiting an extra two and a half hours to get my car because the service writer didn’t come get me from the waiting area when the car was ready.. He said he sent a text, but I never received anything. At the end of the day I guess it is my fault for not asking enough questions and assuming things were correct. This whole experience has been really upsetting and I’m not trying to bash the guy, just giving an honest review of what happened because what good is a review if it’s not done honestly. We have been taking her car there for almost 10 years and I don’t know how I feel about going back. I might have to because the tire warranty is with them, but I’ll be looking elsewhere for service and I recommend you do the same.
Its good. Service was completed in the time frame they put fourth and they seemed to do a good job. Nice reception area to wait with complimentary drinks and such.
The drop off was fine. The am driver was great getting me home (older white guy). The car was finished in good time. The problem was with the pm driver (darker skinned guy heavy acent)he called me to ask for my address and I had to say it and spell it 4 times before he understood me. A very quiet ride back to Toyota. Got there and there were not any service advisers to be found mine or anybody elses. The receptionist did the best she could without them. So I never got to speak to an advisor about my car. Not a good ending experience. Since my advisor David wasnt available I did not get to tell anyone this at Toyota.
Good service and communications. Work completed on time and whole exp. Was managed within covid guidelines.
Very disappointing. Went in for a brake job with a coupon that they said they would honor. They later said I needed rotors as well, no big deal. I got the whole job done and then when it was time to pay, they didnt honor my coupon (after the job had already been done). They didnt even wash may van afterwards. Lousy customer service. This Toyota dealership is very shady and I highly recommend going elsewhere for your servicing needs.
Paul B is a fantastic service rep and online sales associate! Whenever we deal with him our car service experience goes smoothly and sales through him are always a great deal!
I worked with service advisor Christian Chris A, we had a misunderstanding about what tires I wanted. I followed up with Chris and Rich (director). They went out of their way to remedy my experience the best they could.5 star service isnt service without mistakes, its service that does all it can to help up front and remedy if mistakes happen.Chris and Rich, thank you for doing your best.
Very happy with them for service, theyve always been helpful with advice and care of my vehicle!
20-6 1st review, but hubby & I customers for past ~10 years via Prepaid Maintenance (PPM) servicing of our Toyota vehicles:-- 5 Star: Location, service, lobby (4 types), snacks (2 types), and staff are excellent. Free transport once drop off vehicle for servicing (hubby has used satisfactorily a handful of times).-- Length of wait for routine service--even with appointment (3 Star). Ive come to the point that knowing if I wait, I have to allow 4-5 hours before Im back on the road again. Thats simply unacceptable for a scheduled appointment for a routine oil change & 5k mile servicing every six months on a mini-van driven under 8k a year!-- Wait lobbies to choose from:1) Main--large, open area with LOTS of small tables/chairs (some charging outlets).2) Bar-Height/length Table (no charging areas).3) Quiet--enclosed, window-to-floor nook with with door to lobby & parking lot that contains 5 large, vinyl chairs with at least one outlet.4) Kids playroom--pre-COVID was stocked with lots of toys for toddlers.-- Snacks:1) Morning free offerings of cookies and packaged pastries (and coffee I believe).2) Free water bottles cooler.2) Vending machines with candy & sodas.
Laura, my service advisor she was nice and helpful. They are fast and don’t make you wait.
I have a 2014 Corolla that I bought here new, paying an extra $850.00 for the sunroof package. . Right from the beginning there was an issue with the sunroof leaking, not operating at times & the accordian-like rubber gasket falling off. I have brought it in no less than 8 times for this issue. EIGHT!!!At first the techs were very nice, & patiently taught me (the stupid female) how to properly push the buttons. Really? They did NOT listen to my explanation of how the problems occur. If they had, they would have understood that it gets stuck when the rubber piece rips & jams up the operation of the sunroof. In the meantime, grease in that area was washed down with the rain & stained the back seat. NO, it wasnt my kids that spilled something back there, as the service advisor suggested. I am an empty-nester, so no kids in my car at all. They try topass the blame on anybody but themselves, even non-existent children.Eventually, the motor burned out because it was jammed & stuck. They replaced the gaskets & motor, although I had to really push for that to be covered under my warranty. After having to take MY time to go in so many times, not to mention the frustration of dealing with them time & time again, we complained to Toyotas corporate office. We then heard from Folsom Lake Toyota, apologizing & guess what they offered us? $850 refund to repay us for what has never worked right? Even an $850 credit towards items they sell in their service department or towards a different car? Nope, they sent me a coupon to have my car detailed. Good only 2 days a week.....days that I work & cant bring it in. How generous of them.Well guess what? Almost 5 years into this & he stupid gasket tore & got jammed again yesterday & the sunroof wouldnt close again. With winter coming, I want to be able to close the sunroof. Seems like a reasonable expectation to me.NO WAY am I bringing it back to Folsom again. Im going to try another Toyota dealer & hope they are more competent to fix what I would think is a relatively simple problem.I am tempted to hold an umbrella out the sunroof & tape on a sign that says Thank you Folsom Lake Toyota! This whole experience has been absolutely ridiculous. After buying many cars there, we never will again.
Long wait times and the mechanics here dont have the basic knowledge nor the patience when it comes to answering very basic vehicle standard questions. Bottom line, dont waste your time making an appointment here, when your car will be serviced 4 hours later.
I came there 2 times. But My Advisor Mat and Technician Gilberto Didnt Fix my Application Engine Start. They dont fix it. They wasted my time and Day. Im super Tired to comeback there . They didnt know their job.
They make me feel welcome. Matt cares about me.
Jim is great.
This place is here to make the customer pay as much as possible. Never offered Toyota care to me because they rather you pay for everything out of pocket. The service is bad and the consultants are terrible. I’d rather drive miles away and wait then go back to this place
This is a bad place. the last time I changed the part. then I invested 1000 $. although it was just necessary to change the oil. this time they demand money for the diagnosis, which I know myself. very very very bad place
Assistant Service Manager - Paul Barwick, was quick and efficient and mostly polite, while getting our car in and serviced today! He listened to the whole story, before he told us what his recommendations were. Excellent Job Paul!
Very efficient. Covid safe. Very helpful service writer
I have a 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid that I bought from FLT because of their service center and body shop. They do it all and I know I will always be greeted with a friendly face and treated with respect.Last night I dropped my car off for its scheduled service and a few Misc items. Matt, who Ive worked with for years now, had me in and out in just a couple of minutes!! We even spent a couple of minutes catching up about the holidays.Great place to take your vehicle. You will be treated right and your vehicle will be in great hands!!
We have two toyota vehicles in our household and we take both cars to the Toyota service center 2-3 times a year. Unluckily, we mostly get the same service advisor, her name is Pam Liberty. She is straight up rude and makes you feel down and thinks of herself as very proudy. We have had multiple scenarios with her where we have found her rude but always ignored it. However, yesterday we just did not feel comfortable as she was very rude and really needs to work on her communication skills. We made an appointment online for a full service and the cost on their website for the service was $338 and when we went to the service center, she was charging $388. She mentioned the service would take about 3-4 hours and she would offer us a rental. When we mentioned the online price to her, she was okay to change the price for us but gave us the treatment that she was doing us a favour and giving us a huge discount. First, we denied the rental but later realised we could use to run some errands so we went to her while waiting in the lobby to ask her if she could still give us the rental and she straight up was rude and told us no there is no way, and that she is already giving a huge discount. We did not like that attitude as it wasn’t a discount that she gave us. That was their price on their own website online. We were being smart and aware customers so to make us feel like we were begging for a discount that she gave us a as a favour of a loyal customer was not done. One could think she might be having a bad day but this is not the first time we received this treatment for her. Also, the service was done in less than 2 hours. For our convenience, we went to check how much more time it would take. And the car was already ready but they did not inform us it was ready or anything like that which we thought was also strange.
DO NOT USE FOLSOM SERVICE CENTER EVER ! WORST COSTEMER SERVICE BY RICHAD RUSSO AND ON TOP OF THAT HE IS SERIVICE MANEGER ! NO IDEA WHO MADE HIM MANEGER !
I arrived for my appointment at 8:40. Oil change, Power steering fluid, tire puncture repair, all basics so I told them I would wait there. 11:15 I finally checked and my paperwork was sitting on there service writers desk. With several others. Go to my car, no key. 10 mins more, got in my car to find the passenger seat all the way reclined. Ummm, what? I felt like had been at the dentist and woke up with my blouse buttons askew.
I made an appointment for 11AM. Dropped off my vehicle at 10:30AM. I was told it would be done by 1PM. Checked in at 12:50PM the vehicle hadnt been touched and no service started or completed. Poor customer service and complete disregard for my time. Wasted half my day for nothing. I had to leave without service.
Gibriel, who took care of me there was so nice and professional that it made my visit there just perfect!
Great counter and under the hood service! I highly recommend this service office.
They know their stuff but since its Toyota, prices are higher than independent car service shops.
Theyve always done a great job on my truck
Straightforward service, Pam was able to get me scheduled and troubleshoot the issue quickly and able to work with their extended warranty department to sort everything out. Their shuttle service is great. Whole experience was rather painless.
Never go to this place.Rudy staffWhen you have even appointments. They will ask you to stay for 3 hours .Always trying to find issue and ask you to repair. So theyre there to take your money for non exptable things.
WORST COSTEMER SEVICE EVER BY RICHAD RUSSO!
The customer service was poor. At a Parts Department, representative was out until someone called him. And when he came, he didnt help at all. Not recomend.
Took our 4 year old Camry in for a Transmission Check up.It had been hesitating randomly.Found out our transmission was faulty,so they swapped it out for a new one free of charge, because it was still under warranty.(Saved $1000s of dollars!)Then we needed some keys made for a used Tundra,we had recently purchased.(we were only given a valet key at purchase),We also needed the passenger airbag switched out (Takata). They discovered quite a few problems with the truck while it was being serviced. The timing belt, water pump & drive belt all needed to be replaced. We felt very fortunate that these problems were found and fixed. Matt was very knowledgeable and friendly during both vehicles visits.Thank You for the Great Service!
Rick Brown is a really good service advisor at Folsom Lake Toyota! I love how well they take care of clients. Hot coffee, too!
My initial experience was not good, but Service Manager Richard Russo stepped in and provided the best customer service! Rich listened to everything I had to say and treated me with respect. The level of attention to detail was amazing, turned me from never wanting to return to being a loyal customer. THANK YOU RICH!
Always taken care of!
Best service advisor = David McCann
Cordial staff, good waiting area.
Excellent service, capable attentive staff especially Richard who was my main point of contact, reasonable prices and quick answers to any and all questions. Highly recommend, and will be returning myself.
Matthew in service took care of me. Even after some oops things that had happened. I got a loaner. Matt you rock Brother. & thanks for the FREE detail. Your DETAIL CREW THERE IS ALSO AWESOME!
These people ALWAYS treat me right. Every single time.
Great customer service Service manager kept me informed on everything
Rick Brown is the ONLY service advisor we go to for both our vehicles. He is kind, honest, & very knowledgeable. We live in Sacramento, but service both our vehicles in Folsom because of Ricks awesome customer service. We will continue to use Folsom Toyota Service Center for ALL our vehicles needs as long as Rick is there! We appreciate your hard work:)
They take care of every issue when I drop my car off. They are thorough and informative. Always welcoming!
Hella slow.
Terrible service. Never return your phone call.
I always received excellent service from Folsom Lake Toyota.
My car was making noise. They found 6 loose fasteners and an AA battery.
I came to Toyota service center and my car is Toyota Camry and the MPG is 28-32, but now it is 16-18 MPG, i got the appointment for Toyota service and there is an advisor Matt Johnson says to me your car is good and have no problem it is something funnyThe tank shows 355 miles when you full it but now it shows 255Toyota is making fun on us
Great service! Staff is very professional
The guys here are super helpful. Theyre always ready to answer any questions I had pertaining to my car and the maintenance behind it. Ive never waited here for more than an hour when coming for scheduled maintenance. My warranty is up now but for the time I had it, I was never disappointed.
When I took my 2018 Tacoma in for its 10k maintenance, I was 10 minutes early for my appointment. The young guys that were in the service area outside had us waiting in the heat for about 15 minutes, while our service adviser was finishing up with another customer. I dont mind waiting, what I do mind is being left to stand outside of my car for 15 minutes in the heat. Not sure why we werent offered to go inside to wait, but those guys were just pacing around us outside as we waited... The service was fine, got the truck done in just over an hour. But the initial customer service experience was upsetting.
Once a Folsom Lake Toyota customer always a Folsom Lake Toyota customer! Chase my service advisor was more than helpful. He went the extra mile to make sure my truck was done quickly and done correctly. They also got me a quick wash afterwards for free! They gave me a few sheets of paper showing what I need to get done and what is acceptable from the 360 point inspection they performed.
Way to long for a simple oil change. I had scheduled an appointment and it took almost three hours. Lots of employees just standing around. No customer movement. Heard everyone mention they were waiting for over two hours
They are very accommodating, they explain exactly what they will be doing during your vehicle service. Its clean and comfortable in service waiting area with complementary beverages and snacks.
It is very upsetting to continually have bad service at this establishment. As of today I had amazing service when dropping off my truck. Your employees just cannot complete the service. I was contacted that my truck was ready to be picked up. I was added to the shuttle list, the shuttle was on time. I get to the shop and wait by the counter I was instructed to go to, she told me to go to the next counter, then after waiting in that line I was instructed to go to the service writer manager line, after waiting in that line was instructed to go back to the original counter that was now full of people (I am on my lunch hour to pick this up) I was then told to sign the paperwork and wait outside for my truck to be delivered. I was the only one out there at first, and then watched 6 other cars get picked up before my truck was delivered. The greeter, the service manager and 2 other employees could not locate my keys, I was told it’s most likely being washed, wouldn’t your truck “is ready” mean is was completely ready? I was fuming by the time I left and the employee that delivered my truck was completely rude when he finally drove up to me.I am turning this truck in next month due to continuous issues, I will have to get a new Toyota. All I can do is pray that this new vehicle will not have issues, pray that your employees realize that women know automobiles as well as men and you don’t waste my time bouncing from counter to counter instead of taking the initiative to just do your job.
Horrible experience!I brought my truck to Folsom Lake Toyota because I thought I had lost the key for my wheel locks. I called ahead and the receptionist said they had a master key and it would be no problem change them out. I asked if there would be a charge - she checked with her manager and said no.However, once I got there, the sales rep (Kyle Budd) said they either had to charge me or use my 20k mile service. I just bought the truck so I knew they had already changed the oil and rotated the tires. He said, Forget about all that. The 20k mile service rotates the tires so there will be no charge. I told him to just change out the locks and he began to argue with me about how his guys get paid by the job and how he was doing me a favor. When I told him the receptionist said there would be no charge, his response was, Well shes just a receptionist. She really doesnt know what we do here. He continued to argue and talk over me and finally just walked away. I was dumbfounded. After my experience here, I will never be back. The only thing they care about is how much money they can milk out of you. What ever happened to good old-fashioned customer service?
