Thank you so much for helping me out with the Cake. I placed an online order for a Cake and I was there to just pickup the Cake ☺️. Turns out, cake was way too small than I had imagined!!( Literally the size of a circle cheese. My bad, I went by the picture without checking the actual size) Baker helped me out to pickup another cake and was more than happy to assist me with decorating it. Thanks a Ton 😍. Same problem here as with Prairie City Safeway. They dont stick their shelves frequently enough. Always out of my favorite drink. Arnold Palmer sugar free 12 oz cans. Buy more!

I called 4 different Safeway stores and the only store that actually answered the phone was this one (Folsom). The girl who works in the floral department (i wish i took her name. I believe she had blonde hair), she was amazing and very helpful! The 2 flower bouquets she made for me were gorgeous. Thank you so much and i really hope you get recognized! I will definitely be choosing this location again.

Helpful & friendly staff. Pharmacists have gone above & beyond multiple times. Good selection & prices. Also, works with a community food bank (Rancho Cordova Food Locker).

Ordered groceries online and they gave bread which is one week past use date. Very disappointing.

Machines were loose... Loved it. I dont mind losing $100 or $200 in 2 hours, but Hate losing in 15 minutes to 30 minutes. Had 3 hours of fun and went up and down. Thats sounds weird 😀 but walked out a little ahead 👍

Excellent Location. Very clean store considering so many shoppers. Customer Service was good, and Plenty of registers to choose from kept lines short. Great Selection of flowers and Deli is wonderful. Only Gripe is parking lot not as sufficient as other places, but decent.

Love Safeway. Having a Club Card helps for big shopping trips. Always clean, workers always friendly, etc.

Nice clean store with a pleasant staff.Was thrilled that there was a bagger there to actually bag the items.Until I got home to find that he had placed bannans at the bottom of the bag with corn on the cob and other heavy items directly on top of them.

Hello,i tried the Chineese food at Safeway a couple of times. They only give you small quanities & the food taste bland and old. I think they reheat the food from the night before. It tastes terrible & doesn;t taste fresh. If your looking for good quality food, dont look here. I would not recommend this place.

Great selection, good sales, friendly upbeat staff. The store was clean, plenty of parking, sanitized shopping carts.

It’s conveniently located to me and it’s a Safeway. That’s why I go there. There’s nothing wrong with it.

Thus store has decent fruit and I say that because wherever I buy fruit from this store it goes bad fast. I mean like next day bad. The meat counter has pretty good steaks but dont buy the bacon it is dry.

Hello there potential shoppers! I was working a shift delivering groceries for shipt and I forgot a bag at checkout. It was around 9:30 Had to come all the way back 30 minutes round trip. The manager was very apologetic and gave me 10 dollars in gift cards. Best customer service imaginable! Very thankful for the polite, courteous and helpful staff, more importantly the manager. Could not have had a better experience with the manager taking responsibility and owning up to his staffs oopsie, helping me out with dinner. I have a rediculous amount of respect for this location because of this.

Awesome service and hours of operations

Safeway is one of the nicest grocery stores in Folsom. Due to the price to quality ratio, I would recommend going to another store to stock up on groceries, but its still a great place for smaller trips. The service is always helpful and the food is delicious. The layout of the store makes sense as well, making visits easily efficient. The lines can be a little long, but the wait is worthwhile. I always enjoy my trips to Safeway.

Safeway has good deals on the hot, prepared food and I always liked their rotisserie chicken. Turkey breast is another favorite thing of mine. Veggie prices are bit too high.

Produce employees were very rude. They made me a sandwich one way and the next day when I went back for the same sandwich, they told me they “can’t do that”. All I asked for was a substitution for bacon on a sandwich.

Went to Safeway earlier this morning and bought some unicorn flowers and stuffed animal. Floor Mgr Emily acted like she didnt even want our service and seem to have some kind of attitude. Not sure if she didnt have her coffee or having a start of a bad day. Emily may be a nice person because I dont know her or havent spent 24hrs in her presence but today could be one of those days. Please remember when serving or helping people your attitude shows whether you know it or not.

Always have great service at checkout. Items are always restocked. There isnt much to expect from a Safeway grocery store, but this one has everything covered. The team here is always helpful and friendly and the self checkout makes a quick trip to grab those last minute ingredients quick and easy.

Much, much nicer than the Safeway in Rancho Cordova! More selection, more expensive items. Really nice! Never going back to Folsom Blvd location again.

Horrible. Ive come in multiple times for one item at 9pm and all the self checkout lanes were closed and theres was one guy working for maybe 12 people who all had one item. If they just left the self checkout on and had the one guy stand over there, it wouldnt have taken me 40 minutes to buy teriyaki sauce and beef

This review is for their their delivery service. I am using it for the first time. Awful experience. My order never came and their customer service number had me call another number to ask about deliveries. What’s the point of that when it should transfer you? Also, next time put the correct number on my email.Then I waited 30 minutes and never got an agent. I didn’t even get offered a call back courtesy. So I decided to fill out their form online. It says today they deliver. I understand if there’s a backorder, but Safeway needs to communicate this to me. Absolutely unacceptable.

The cashier Pam was the rudest person Ive come across in quite a while. My boyfriend had just gotten off work and we went to buy a couple of items. He was dirty and grungy after working his tail off and she was looking down on him and treating him like he was a second class citizen because she thought he looked homeless. Ive never been so angry in my life. I called the corporate office and put in a complaint about her. They will never get my money again... And I am about to call her store and persue this even more. She should not have a job in the customer service industry. It left such a bad feeling in my stomach that I almost dont even want to shop at Safeway at all anymore.

Shopping here has become torture - did you load the sale price on your card first? We dont carry or have the item in our ad. The price or size of the item doesnt match the ad. Sorry we dont honor our other stores raincheck. What a nightmare!

This is one of the best Safeway stores Ive been to in a long while. Even though they were out of some things, what I bought was fresh. The only bad thing was the checker. Acted like we were a bother and half asleep. I did end up bagging my own groceries.

The staff is so friendly and helpful here. The location is convenient and there is a Starbucks inside in case there is a line at the Starbucks in the same parking lot. Sometimes the lines are quite long for checkout if you get here at a busy time.

Its very clean inside and very organized. The employees are very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help you find what you are looking for. This store has a lot of hard to find items and things that other stores do not carry. When they have sales in big deals thats the time to shop.

Im a loyal Whole Foods customer more than 20 yrs back East but I have to say this Safeway is 1000 times better than any other Safeway. Their meat department is clear and doesnt smell at all, offers large variety of low cost grass fed options, including, Wagu beef, Bison, Ground Veal, Ground Lamb, grass fed angus and beef, grass fed New Yorks, 98% lean grass fed stew meat, wonderful organic produce include mustard greens year around, and the entire store offers plethora of organic choices. Clean throughout, a diamond store, kudos to management for choosing extraordinary over standard.

Clean store, friendly people. I gave 4 stars because I overheard employees complaining about another employee while customers were checking out. I switched to Safeway from Raleys for this reason and this reason only. Look, most of us dislike our coworkers and our jobs; that shouldnt be news to anyone. I support employees commiserating with one another and I empathetically understand a bad work situation. But why should customers have to listen to employee disgruntlement while literally pulling money out of their wallets to support the company?

Both door are open!! I wish we could get back to normal sooner. 😤

This Safeway store is bright, clean and well organized. The selection is wonderful and the prices are right on. Their selection of hot food even makes it a great place to grab lunch or dinner on the go. So happy to have it near me.

It was a relatively nice experience. It was generic and was similar to nearly every other Safeway that one would have been too in the past. They had the things they always do. I do want to give a word of advice about the freshly baked pastries that people select and buy in paper bags: I have seen flies inside the large box that houses them, so I would not recommend buying them unpackaged.

I love this grocery store. Everyone knows me. My items are typically less expensive than the other local grocery.

So many employees taking their masks off purposely with customers walking around.

Convenient location. Stocked well. The produce is always fresh. However, I wish they introduce a self-checkout lane. Almost everytime I visit, the cashiers are few and the lines extremely long. The quick checkout (15 items or less) lanes are almost never open. Rush hours are miserable because of this.

Cashier did not listen to me when I mentioned about the changes many times. They tried to finished their QUICK transaction. Other time they even did not tell me to put the member number in end up took me so long time to fix their problem. The staffs at bread section are nice.

Went for some Sunday funday chicken strips and wings. The deli food was dried out and not so great. Other than that, the store is beautiful and put together well...and staff was kind.

Well organized, every single item we were looking was fresh and or in stock. Easy checkout.

Night manager thinks he can close the store early for some reason and refuse loyal local customers to come in get groceries and then the next day when I go to pick up my free gift card that corporate offered for the unprofessionalism one of the cashiers stop working and just stares at me for a good 3 minutes straight just mugging me pretty much and when politely asked can I help you same night manager while handing me my gift card threatens to kick me out when he should be telling his cashier to get back to work and stop giving evil stares at loyal for minutes at a time just what a mess the employees here are just call corporate and complain this guy needs to be retrained

A little pricey but sometimes you have to pony up for the good stuff, eh?I went to Corti Brothers the other day, most expensive in Sacramento BUT, THEY HAVE WHAT YOU WANT, WHAT YOU NEED AND IT IS GOOD!GO CORTI BROTHERS! Oh, and they were very very friendly as well!

A lot of empty shelves in produce dept. and missing prices in gift and floral area with no one around to help. Understaffed. But manager did make it right when I spoke with him.
