The guys behind the counter were excellent..My honda mower runs as good as new and was surprisingly returned to me in a very short time....amazing..As a note: I had used this store years ago and was not overly happy but decide to try them again and I am very satisfied with them now .
Mike & Evan are great! I have a chainsaw (Echo) that could not get running properly from another small engine shop up in Placerville. Complete with carburetor replacement. Dropped of w/ FLPE on Sat and returned by Tue ... of Christmas Week! Outstanding service – complete explanation of the status of the chainsaw damage that has occurred to it over the years. Highly Recommended
Called to ask if they sharpen push reel mower blades. I was told yes they do. 1-2 days turn around time I was told. The next day I drove out of my way to drop off my push mower. I was told they don’t sharpen these and they haven’t in awhile. Must have been some miscommunication over the phone I was told. I guess they’re easily confused and don’t know the difference between a push reel mower and a power mower. Huh!
Recently I went in to buy a chain for my chainsaw. Very helpful employee identified the chain, then asked if Id like him to put it on my chainsaw for me. Sounded good to me. Then he cleaned the bar and put it back together. No extra charge for the chain. Great job!
My favorite place for new equipment or service. When you go in looking to buy equipment Mike listens to your needs then tells you the plus and minus of different pieces of equipment to fit you needs. He went out of his way to get me a pole saw model that they didnt stock by going to the distributer that day. When I have come in trying to repair something the mechanic will come out and advise me. Great friendly folks!!

Went here because I wanted to give some $ to a local business instead of the big stores. Expecting a better and more knowledgeable staff too, instead got an older know it all guy that tried to make me feel like an idiot the entire time. Then I asked around and found others with the same experience.
I took in a Weed Eater to be repaired/service. They knew exactly what needed to be done and fixed it right there on the spot. Fabulous service and expertise at Acme. We will definitely be back to purchase/service in the future!

We had Folsom Power and Lawn, who is part of ACME Saw and Industrial Supply, servicing our equipment. In the beginning they did a good job at getting our equipment back to us in a timely manner. However, we started noticing issues with their repairs. Items missing, job not complete, lost equipment, etc. We have also had to return our equipment on two different occasions for warranty work. The last time we had to return our equipment due to poor repairs, they told us that equipment will sometimes break down for an entirely different reason then what was done on the repair. The original repair was to replace a drive belt for the blades. When we had to take it back it was due to the cable that adjusts the belt drive was not adjusted after they finished replacing the belt and the engine bolts came loose because they were stripped. (2nd time this has happened on a different mower repaired by them.) We were then charged an additional $85 to replace the stripped bolts. Once we got the mower back it broke down that day and the blades would not spin. They told us part of it was due to the cable not be mounted after they repaired the mower and now their are pulley issues that will need an additional $200.00+ more to fix. Needless to say, we pulled our equipment from them and took it to a more knowledgeable service company.I normally never give bad reviews to companies mostly because most issues can be worked out with the Owner of the company. However, I talked with the Owner of this company and he told me he would work on this and call me back. He never called me back.
These guys are the best. A disappearing service that is very hard to find. They service and sell all landscape equipment, small engine repair and tough to find parts etc. They sharpen chainsaw chains & lawnmower blades.
These guys know there stuff!! Had to take my Honda riding mower to them after left side of mower quit cutting.. I was expecting to have to pay allot of money to replace spindles, blades, belt etc.. Russ the mechanic diagnosed the problem and corrected it without having to replace with unnecessary expensive parts.. These guys are a true Hometown Repair Shop and do only the work that is required at a Hometown price. I would not want to go anywhere else for my lawn and yard equipment repairs!!
Knowledge and skills are unmatched. Have been hung up on multiple times after being on hold on the phone though.
My experience with their customer service has been obsolete genuine one of a kind. they found the part when no one else could . Great deals provided with choices. big gay at the desk was relentless at making sure I got what I needed. I like the fact that he ask questions himself and communicated with his staff and mechanics to make sure what was best for me. I wish I could get this kind of service at OReilly or AutoZone when I shop for car parts.! Small Engine Parts and Equipment are kind of hard to find on the internet but these guys got there b .......p together if you know what I mean . I would never take the time to write a review ever butt the frustration with dealing customer service has been a hassle. these guys made my day . time is money . thanks guys!
