I must say Bolger Bros Auto is a really good car shop to take your vehicle. My wife and I are self employed, with our logo on our car. We needed our car back and Tim (Owner) kept me informed while my car was there. His prices I thought were in the ball park of other shops, I did find his shop online and read other reviews. His experience is what sold me on taking my car their. My car took about a week for motor mounts, and A/C service. He is very knowledgeable, been in busy for over 20yrs!! I would highly recommend his services. Do be prepared to make an appointment with him, as his schedule is very busy. Blessings and happy driving.

Got my car on the road again with a good diagnosis of the issue. Had been to 2 other mechanics who couldnt figure out I needed a new fuel pump and filter.

Been having my vehicles handled at Bolger Bros. for years. They arent the cheapest but they do good work and I trust them. Lots of shady mechanics out there but you wont find that here.

Tim at Bolger is an honest mechanic. If it’s something he can’t do or fix he will let you know, that’s what I respect from Tim. Price is always reasonable and he finishes in a quick and timely manner. If you are having trouble finding a good mechanic, come say hi to Tim!

Hands down the best customer service I’ve had in a very long time. A very trustworthy business that has a family feel, very comfortable chair and great coffee while I was waiting. They even fed me while I was there. Prices were fair and reasonable.

***UPDATED Review. Tim called and was able to make the below issue right. He apologized for the experience and provided us with a full refund. I will take back my statement in regards to them not caring. Tim has proved to us that he will do what he can to make the situation right again, which is why I am changing my review to include the honesty that Tim personally does. It shows a lot of his character and I wish he was the one to perform the initial inspection. I feel that, if this was the case, the situation would have been completely different. Thank you for reaching back out to us in such a quick manner to make this right.This review is for anyone who is out of town purchasing a vehicle. I read previous reviews and saw nothing but good things about this dealership so I assumed that this was a trustworthy place. Called the shop and asked them of they could perform a buyers inspection and informed them that we(my boyfriend and I) are flying in out of state to look at a Jeep and we need to know if there is anything wrong with the vehicle. They told us no problem and they will make sure it can travel the 1,300+ miles itll take to get us home. When we received the call back from them they seemed irritated that they had to call us about the jeep and didnt inform us if anything was wrong that it was all good, just asked for the payment and hung up the phone. We arrive to the dealership to find out the jeep wont start, the rear tires are extremely sun baked(we have the paper from the shop telling us they were in good condition) and there is slight damage to the body. Assuming the issue was a bad battery we purchased the vehicle since. The vehicle would not start again after being shut off with a new battery, come to find out the starter was bad and we had to replace it ourselves on the dealerships lot. It makes it home and we get it in the shop to do another once over and find out we need a whole new rear axle, oil needed to be changed badly, air filter was caked with sand and windshield wiper fluid was only filled with water(huge issue when living in temperatures that get below freezing). I could go on but Ive said enough. None of these issues were brought to our attention and we feel like we paid them to just look at the vehicle. In my opinion they gave us a lick and stick overview and were not honest with us about a single thing and they did not care. Waste of money and if you are out of town wanting an inspection go elsewhere.

Their service is pretty slow I had a electrical short in the vehicle took them about three weeks to replace the distributor assembly in my car during the process instead of just pulling the alarm in my car they cut it out and forgot to put it back, when I discuss this matter with the manager he was in straight denial, I know my car better than anyone so after all the drama, then alarm wasnt functioning properly drama again then they attempted to repair still not working properly, their service is to expensive for the quality of service and skill level of their mechanic. When I picked up my car the car was running very rough still he told me to put in gas s once it was low . Not great service take your chances basic repairs will do fine, journeyman level not that great.also pricing is to expences. Good luck

They have always been real nice and courteous which is one of the things lots of mechanics are lacking now a days. Summer hit and our heater was blowing automatically. We took the car to an import mechanic in Rancho Cucaminga. but they messed up more than the fixed. Took the car to Bolger Bros as theyve done a lot of work for us. We now have AC and back to enjoying the summer.

Their not the cheapest on everything and not the most expensive but they are competitive on the low end with knowledge and professionalism in their Industry, I would give them a 5 star rating, but we all know there is only one perfectionist.

Great service. Very kind man, Tim is. Did a pre-purchase inspection on a truck I was thinking about buying. He was very thorough and candid about the condition of the truck and told me what was good and bad about it. If I lived in the area he would be mechanic.

The service on each Vehicle was done on a timely manner. Fair price / fresh coffee, with TV, friendly staff, further recommendation advised.

I broke down on the freeway on a Friday afternoon just before 5 pm. This was the only shop in Fontana still open after 5pm on a Friday, I got a tow there and told them my problems. I blew a radiator hose, they got the hose delivered first this Saturday morning and had it replaced by 11am. I didn’t want to get stuck in Fontana but these guys made it a very easy situation, and the price was fair. Good mechanics and nice people.

My sons 06 Kia Optima was squealing when cold. I thought it would cost me hundreds to fix. Turned out it was just an adjustment. Great family operated and honest shop. Highly recommend.

I Dont Recommend This place at all ! They did some Mickey mouse work on my fans making them direct. Alternator got messed up and so did the fans went out as well .Now Im Wasting more money repairing their bad work . Why cant they just do it right way instead of doing it the easy way!!

I can’t believe how nice the store owner tim was. i was in a huge rush when i arrived and he respected my time and got me in and out quickly. not only that but he helped me save money and let me know exactly what was wrong with my car. it was so easy. he called me ‘back after i left a message on his phone saying that my car was overheating. he called back very concerned saying that it is dangerous to drive the car that way, and that if need be Bolger’s would help me find a ride home (i live 5 min away) they were overall very polite to me and i would recommend this place a thousand times over. they treat you like a person and not like a nuisance. the mechanics there even replaced my lights for me for free! thanks so much for your guys help it was the best experience i think i’ve ever had with a mechanic. i think i was suppose to pay something like 110 but they pushed the prices down to 55 somehow just because they were nice. very very good people.

This place is the best, been coming here for years and receive nothing but the best customer service, any problems with my cars these guys take care of me, theyre honest, reliable, and friendly.

Sent a Honda Civic here that was not running. Tim tells me it needs a rebuilt engine for 2500-3000. A week later he says it threw a rod and is not rebuildable and says a used replacement engine will be 3-3500. Three weeks later I get the car back for 3900 including 2 new axles(400). The car went 2 weeks before spinning a bearing. Tim says the engine was abused (overrevved) and not covered by warranty. It was not. He says I will have to pay for labor on another engine (c. 1200). I would not agree. He says he will get back to me. Two weeks later I get a call from one of his mechanics telling me I also need a new catalytic converter (850) because it was glowing red and is therefore bad. This is a blatant lie. Unconsumed fuel is the main cause of this. This was on a Friday. On Monday Tim calls me and says we told you it was poisoned, this was wrong, actually it is cracked. I tell him I want my car back. He tells me I owe him more money even though I never agreed to any additional repairs. Tim is an incompetent mechanic, and a mediocre liar.

It is ridiculous how much they want to charge for simple things they try to rip me off for almost $1,000 for a job they did less than 2 years ago and then Im taking my car somewhere else and for things they had done in my car I ended up finding out they pull old used parts that supposedly had to be new. Never again will I go to this shop again they ripped me off almost $6,000 in 2 years lesson learned. Dont bother coming here look around and ask for prices before bringing your car here!
