Went here for a quick breakfast. Ended up sharing a 3 meat omelet with my husband. It was good. Big portions. I had some pancakes as well from my daughters plate. Her kid portion was huge too. Only take CASH.

Cool little spot. Service is great. Has the nostalgic feel to it. Food is average, Im not saying its bad, but not out of the ordinary. Good service and prompt. The serving portions are big and plentiful. It was an enjoyable experience. Small place, but they cater to bigger parties. Its a tight squeeze, but they can accommodate Im sure. Go early in the morning, best time to go. They do close early, so dont miss out. Stop by and give it a try.

Poor customer service. We were looking forward to eating here as the food looks delicious. We are a tall family of 4 and we were sat at a very small table. There was a larger table available we thought we were told to sit. When we were seen sitting at the larger table, the hostess/waitress snapped at us and told us to move to the small sticky table. Needless to say, we left and won’t be back.

The food the service the atmosphere I love it here I came with my mom once after she raved about it. (And she is super particular and picky) then cam back with my family and my picky family loves it too.They give you huge portions for the price, the servers are attentive and patient. I recommend you come and get the pancake sandwich and share with a friend.

Unfortunately, this place turned out to not be good. The customer service was ok. We waited for our food for awhile but they might be short staffed so I wont based this rating on that. The huge problem is the food. Now before stating the bad aspects of it, I will say the quantity of the food and the price of the food is good. However, the food itself is bland and not much flavor to it. I ordered : Hash browns, Red Hill Omelette, and biscuit & gravy. The gravy on the biscuit didnt have any flavor. The Hash browns had a weird taste to it that I cant describe. Last of all, the biggest disappointment was the Omelette. All I taste was the cheese inside the Omelette and I cant taste the bell peppers, the tomatoes, the mushrooms nor the egg itself. If you ever plan on coming here, I would suggest going somewhere else to eat because this place will only bring you disappointments.

Service was friendly. The pancakes were huge but didnt seem to be cooked all the way and i had to use a steak knife to cut through them because the top layer was tough. Overall the hash browns were the best part of the meal everything else tasted just ok and at the end it cost an arm and a leg. Will not be coming back.

Hands down, BEST pancake Ive ever had. I dont even particularly like pancakes, but this one is completely different. Its thick, delicious, I literally cant stop eating it. We took it home as leftovers, and Im not sure but its getting even better?! Lol!We also had the breakfast burrito, biscuits and gravy, and the Louisiana hot links with eggs. Everything was amazing and tasted great! Definitely a local favorite, growing up I always heard the adults talk about this place and now I know why! Im going to be dreaming of that pancake till I come back 🤤❤️

I got a separate plate with a large slice of watermelon & cantaloupe as well as some grapes! The servings are always large but this was a side dish. Needless to say I got more than 1 meal out of my order so well with the money spent. Everything is nice. Highly recommended.

Love the Redhill Coffee Shop. I used to go to the Upland location, but since I was in Fontana I stopped here for breakfast. Not surprised at the service or food. Huge portions, great coffee and attentive waitresses. This is the classic roadside diner experience. Table or counter seating, and nostalgic pictures on the walls. One of the best places for breakfast in FONTANA, dont let the exterior fool you it is a small little hole in the wall type of American Diner that serves the largest portions in town, not for the health conscious for sure! Service is hit n miss, it is small. but worth the wait if you have one, not made for large crowds over 10.

Found this little café when I was starving for breakfast, at first I wasnt sure because the place was small but the food was amazing they serve you in massive quantities and I can honestly say that they have the best biscuit and gravy in Northern California. Try it :).

This place is cozy and wonderful. Service is fast and the food comes out at a good time, still hot! The server was very attentive with my coffee mug and never let it go to empty, which was greatly appreciated. This place does get packed and parking is behind the place. I would come back here again!

Its a little pricey. Cash only. Got a all meat omelette with side of hash browns and biscuits and gravy. And 1 pancake on the side. The meat in it the omelette was chopped really small so had a hard time getting a actual fork full. And the cheese seemed to be a thin probably sliced cheese. Not as cheesey as I hoped it would be. Hash browns were good. Also ordered a 3 pancake with 1 egg and 1 sausage. Fair warning the pancakes are huge neither of us could finish a whole pancake and really it fed 3 people. The pancakes fell apart real easy and were a little dense. Honestly not anything special except for the size. Came out to $39! Im torn over this one. Price was way more then I would have liked and the pancakes were huge but other then that it was not the greatest. It was good.

Massive food portions and the plates are about $13.00. Coffee is pretty good too. If your looking for a breakfast spot, this is a cozy little cafe with nice people and good food.

We love this place. Everything is really good. Biscuits and gravy, corned beef hash, French toast, ham steak, omelets. Ive been coming here with my family since I was a kid. My parents have been coming here for over 40 years. Its our favorite breakfast place!

I grew up in Fontana and would go to The Red Hill Cafe often. I love the atmosphere and the service the employees provide. I will always come to The Red Hill Cafe every time I’m in Fontana. Thank you so much for the great food and cleanliness of the restaurant.

Best breakfast place to go when youre hungry

Food was the best Ive had since living in the area. The portion sizes were huge, especially considering the prices were no more expensive than a chain diner with smaller sizes. Service was excellent, wish I had gotten the name of our server. Very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was nice despite how busy they were. 10/10 overall experience. My girlfriend had the French toast and said that it was the best restaurant french toast she has ever had.

I have eaten here off and on for over 30 years and it used to be pretty good but not so much now. The food is bland and tasteless despite the large portions. Even the maple syrup is lacking. The prices here are sky high compared to other tastier establishments in the area. Not crazy about the servers either. Sorry Red Hill but I wont be coming back.

Ive been wanting to try this place for a while always driving by looked at pictures and look pretty good I tried the country fried steak and eggs. country fried steak was frozen patty with salty gravy disappointed the hash browns are good eggs over cook I should have stuck with the pancakes but I got grossed out probably wont go back and I was really trying to find a good breakfast cafe especially paying $15 Im not even a cook and I know you supposed to use cube steak fresh batter and homemade gravy not too salty . I paid $15 for some hash browns

Ive been here many times over the years but I finially decided to leave a review.This is a great little diner that has amazing food. There portions are gigantic even for the plus size among us.For covid restrictions they no longer do indoor dining but have set up about 6-8 four person tables outside.They also now deliver with doordash/grubhub/postmates.Two warning for any coming here.(1) make sure to bring cash as they are a cash only location, though they do have a atm inside available to use.(2) make sure to have room in your fridge since it is a certainty that your bringing home leftovers.

Its good food and you get a lot for the price, however the only downside is its cash only. So if you want to be good and full make sure you leave your credit/debit card in the wallet because cash is king here.

Awesome experience. Ive been to the Red Hill Coffee Shop in Upland on Foothill and Grove. Theyre good but the wait is usually ridiculous.. so I will almost always go somewhere else. We got right in and our food was fast, hot, fresh, yummy and the portions are out of control. Service was fast and friendly. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast with friendly atmosphere.

The place doesnt look like much on the outside, but sometimes good things come in small, run down looking packages. Redhill has been a landmark of this area since the 1940s. It has changed hands a couple of times, but remains excellent. From Farmer Brothers coffee to fresh seasonal fruit and all the standard breakfast foods, it is top notch. The biscuit and gravy is good, the corned beef hash is my favorite standard, and the French toast is really great! We had great service, very friendly and perfect timing. Definitely one of our favorite places to eat breakfast in this area!
