I know most of us drivers like a spot where we can get something to eat, drink take a shower and wash our clothes because the truth of the matter is if your a driver you wont be able to change your clothes or shower for another two to three days and that is fine because the next flying j I pull up to will always get the job done for my travel purposes. Thank you flying j for your hospitality. Btw theres awesome guy name Brian along with his fellow employees. Thanks you guys for accommodating me with my travel gear.

Very clean, a lot of space for experienced drivers. Clean showers but it’s always full. They only have five showers in total. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Flying J on Slover in Fontana California is Not a clean or tidy establishment. Garbage in Drivers Lounge. Laundry area just a mess. No cream in coffee area. Much garbage and unkept property. Very little room for tractor trailers to park. Not clean fuel islands.It is apparent that there is a lack of staff at this location, and its overall condition continues to deteriorate.The Day Manager works harder here than anyone else!.. but hes just one guy and cant do it all.. Kudos for trying.!

Dont come here in a rush. Very inconsiderate drivers here will not pull up after fueling. Had to get in a drivers face for not moving up after fueling. Truck stop is small to begin with. Really no where to pull over . Pilot/Flying J really didnt think this one out before taking over this old truck stop

I cant believe the low rating on this #Flying J! This is one of the better Flying Js/Pilots around California! The parking was crazy for big trucks but otherwise it was clean, the employees were friendly & fast. Cmon people quit complaining

I was in there last week and had an issue getting a refund and asked to see the manager and this so called manager came out extremely rude and nasty to me and refused to help me and got the janitor to “deal with me”. I gave up and just left so this so called manager named Monica basically stole my hard earned money for me. She needs to be let go.Because of this nasty waste of a manager I will never go to your establishment anymore. Loves for me from know on and Monica needs to lay off getting the janitor involved. Upper management needs to get rid of that nasty dumpster fire called Monica the manager

I parked to grab a bite and came to my vehicle.I few minutes later a lady called Monica comes out walking fast like if I am taking the parking space with me. She bags on the door and she is looking at me. I am going to roll the window down when she starts screaming. You cant park here or I will tow your vehicle.I am like what the what are you talking about. I just bought Pizza and ice cream.So dont come here and buy anything bcs you will threaten of towing your vehicle.I say get this Monica, short, old lady with blond hair, terminated.Its bad customer service that make a business sorrow.I am not coming here again and to top it off, its my first time at any Flying gas station.

My low mark is only because what. if you dont have a truck, but a buck truck you are not allowed to spend the night in the parking lot for passenger cars. I think this is not correct! the driver should rest in specialized parking lots, not on the side of the road! then why and for whom this parking is made

Even if its for a night of parking do not come here. 9 times out 10 of youll have to pay for parking. Showers have ridiculously long wait times and not even clean so dont know what the wait time Is for. The restrooms are trashy and disgusting. Extremely poor customer service.

The girls at the register are rude. You cant ask for help without getting attitude from them. or they are to lazy to get you things. specially the redhead. I mean if you dont like your job then quit.

They have improved the parking, now if you have a trailer you will have to exit via the fuel pumps as they have blocked off the route around the workshop, good luck and allow yourself at least 45 minutes to simply get in and out .

Avoid at all costs!Been in line almost a half hour, Not a pump in use but all blocked, some steering wheel holders not even at their truck, two blocked with a pressure washer and nothing being washed...screw this place

It’s small and hard to get into. Parking is mostly reserved or bobtail. But this place is clean, the showers are fantastic and the employees are nice. They honor their reserve parking so you WILL have your spot when you get here if you pay for it. Space is a premium here in Cali so I’m not gonna fault them for the small lot.

My family and I stopped here for gas and snacks on our way home from camping this week when we heard this older Mexican man tell the pink haired girl behind the counter that his Semi-truck had been stolen. Her response was I guess you shouldnt have parked here. Wow! What great customer service. After all it is a truck stop. I feel sorry for these truck drivers.

The reason the showers take so long is because they only have one towel and have to wash and dry the towel in between each shower😂The company I drive for has a small yard nearby, so I’m here often. There’s never parking available here so drivers often park in the fire lane and get creative as with everywhere we park and it’s fine they normally let us do a 10. Today I watch the Flying J employees call the police to move everybody instead of asking them to move and all the drivers that were parked got tickets.

Showers are too lazy to clean up by themselves. The person in charge seems hes always on a break. Nobody is cleaning them. Waiting time 2hrs. All the time. And nobodys there. Showers are empty and dirty.

This place is small dosent have many parking spots for big trucks . Was bobtailing so parked in front with five other bobtail trucks . It appeared that they called Fontana PD they showed up then five minutes late some lady kick us out wont ever buy any fuel or use flying j any more.

Some People who answer the phone sound like they don’t like their job. Especially when they hang up on you with no patience to deal with you till the end and perhaps wish you a good day.I would suggest they quit doing this and let others who will enjoy serving truckers!I’ve had to call 3 times as there were no parking when I’ve reserved one. I’ve been told someone will come outside and nobody showed up for nothing! Not to mention that at 1am a guy woke me up to ask me the proof of parking where clearly in my reservation he could have seen all the details there without bothering me from my sleep!!!! Very messed up place!!! Bobtail parks at SEMI section and everyone keeps speeding, nobody is out there to watch and control traffic....

Expeditors do not spend your money here. I understand not having a parking lot full of cars with homeless people in it.. but its a truck stop box trucks and Sprinter vans should be allowed to stay in the parking lot we spend our money here. Thousands of dollars a week in gas we have to buy our own showers yet you want let us get some sleep..F U

Stopped to relax a bit, close my eyes for a bit, get fuel and some food. Been there before. Usually spend 50 to 100 dollars when I come through. This time Security rapped hard on my window telling me no sleeping and could only be there two hours . They were extremely rude about it. Go someplace that actually wants your business. I left without spending my money there.

Rude people.Looks like they are in another planet, after I got my fuel, came back to get my fuel receipt and they said I didnt buy fuel, if you can believe that, what a people. unbelievable, and the manager didnt even care to help to resolve the problem, finally the dope heads gave me my receipt, I had to do their job for these air brains.

The bathrooms were clean, the store was clean. The only thing was the light skinned cashier didn’t say 2 words to me when I said “Hello” but she sure was loud when my card got declined, “DECLINED. YOU HAVE INSUFFICIENT FUNDS.” Lol! I wasn’t rude to her or anything so I was confused, but I guess maybe she was having a bad day.Update: 2nd time coming in. These people are so rude to their customers.

Monika the manager lets the janitor deals with customer complaints she gives him the freedom to intervene in conversations and take over and steer them as he wishes when the customer has a legit complaint, i have been kicked out and refused to be given a refund because that was the right thing to be done as far as the janitor thinks. Monica refused to refund me my money they stole my money. will be going to LOVES because they know how to acknowledge a customer😣😣😣🤬

FREE COVID-19 TESTS ALONG WITH GREAT SERVICE!The staff is wonderful, the facilities are clean, and they are doing free COVID-19 tests at this location. Their pizza is amazing as are their lunches and dinners. Yummy.

Place is not bad they work hard to keep showers moving expect 6+ people ahead at all times I’m not surprised Being that they don’t charge for parking I just wish they kept the crack heads from the showers and laundry I caught one of them trying to look thru this one driver shower when he went to go buy a bar of soap but over all good place they do there best

One of the worst Flying j I have aver seen. It is a small truck stop, Understood. But 80% of the spots are rented out .No spot to even park for 30 minutes break.

This Flying J is near brand new showers are remarkable all are handicapped store is better than most Ive been to they finally got rid of all the local deadbeats that eat up all the parking spaces. Customer service is outstanding surprisingly. They have a Wendys and a PJ Fresh & alcohol sold up to 1 a.m.. its all blacktop no dirt roads nice n roomy.

Spent two nights here.Despite being a new building, the floors and shelves are dirty and disorganized. Very little in the way of Fresh food. Salads were never replaced, no soups, no hot dogs. The hot bar which advertises breakfast items, like sandwiches, pizza, eggs and meats, was empty both mornings. Wendys had old, stale chili, and also had problems with getting salads right.Wait for the showers is, on average, 1-2 hours. 7 showers, but will get backed up to 12+ guests in line, all throughout the day.

Parking lot s not a plus here but i LOVED the showers. It s one of the best i think; huge, clean, high pressure

Awsome of pilot. Wasnt expecting to find free parking. In California you have to pay everywhere. Very clean store. Nice friendly faces. Helpful staff. Nice hot 🔥 food counter. Clean restrooms. Im seriously impressed and will definitely frequent this facility. Ty again for caring ❤ about drivers.

My husband and I stayed here and did our 34 reset on both days no hot food in the deli no hot dogs out and really no way of getting a shower as they had a constant back up of over 15 people the majority of the time and even at 10 pm there were 18 people waiting for a shower

Went there at 930lm to scale my load out. Was asked to pull off the scale and park. Parking is a nightmare. Trucks parked all over the place and even some at the entrance and exit. The location is more suitable for bobtails, not truck and trailer. I parked across across from the scale, walked inside paid for my scale ticket and decided to get a drink and bite to eat. As I come outside, a Fontana police officer was writing me a ticket and said the store called in the trucks to issue parking tickets. I was parked less the. 15 mins and there was no other place to park. I will never come back to this place. It might be new, it the parking is hideous and getting in and out of the facility is extremely difficult. Unreal.

So I showed up during the daytime did not see any reserved markings on the ground now that I look closer they are there. I was rudely asked to vacate my place because it was reserved unfortunately by the time I was asked to vacate there were no other spots for me and I had to go look for another place somewhere else in the middle of my 10-hour. I feel like this flying j was unprofessional and did not care for the drivers that theyre supposed to service, and feel like they should have handled this a lot better.Anyone reading this comment I councel you to find another place to fuel in Fontana California, because I will.

I’m really so disappointed that this kind of people still exists and doing the job which they not supposed to providing customer service and I really never gave bad feedback even if the service is missed up or if it’s a little thing but tonight the worst employees ever very disrespectful and very rude which haven’t been trained well to how give service to customers and be nice to them if they been under work pressure or whatever then they should leave home but don’t freaking ruin peoples feelings shame on their manager or whoever’s in charge.

RESERVE THE DAY BEFORE OR AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE!!! It should be about 3 times larger than it is to accomodate all the traffic as well as the parking spots thats needed. The reserved are tight to get in with the fuel island traffic. Im not even going to discuss the bobtails EVERYWHERE. Its like this is a bobtail truckstop that allows a few semis to park.

Sad that this location has card readers on its washers and dryers but they cant make sure that they work. There is a shortage of change and they want you to use plastic, but alas the card readers dont work and the door to laundry room is wide open with a sign at the **top of the door frame**, saying laundry room out of order. Most people myself included dont look up 2 feet over their head to see if there is a out of order sign. Please put more effort into getting the card readers fixed than you do on notifying people the room is out of order. Ishmael needs a course in customer relations!! Hope you go back and view the register tapes around 2100 on the 5th of August.

Dont get anything from the food bar. Theyre letting flies get all over the food. Place looks new, but is bogged down by just being a California location in general. Nice to have a new place to park and shower in the area. Parking area is small but store clean. Showers clean, towels still in decent shape, water pressure not great but OK. Overall it is still newish and doesnt smell like pee yet from lazy f$%kers tossing garbage.

Flying J Travel Center has done a great thing by opening up TWO truck stops in this area. The other is in Mira Loma on Riverside. No longer are we forced to deal with those other pitiful truck stops, TA and Petro. For more than thirty years those have been the only choices in this area and were the last major truck stops between here and Los Angeles. There are places to buy fuel in LA but you probably would not want to stop at those unless you were desperate for fuel.Indeed both Flying Js are shiny and new. They both offer all of the new designs, bells and whistles. They are both spacious and bright. They both have their shortcomings. My focus here is on the Slover store.The showers are roomy and feature a fresh design. The two shower heads in the stalls are a nice touch. Two heads are better than one. I get a feeling of luxury. The water pressure is average. The sink faucets are spring loaded. They run for seven seconds before they switch off. It is annoying to continually have to push the faucet to run the water. There are no soap racks in the shower stalls. Those are minor gripes. The big issue for me is the parking lot.It is a small lot that holds about fifty trucks. Maybe fifteen of those spots are bobtail spots and fifteen to twenty of the big spots are pay to park. The worse part is, Flying J does not own this property. There is a repair shop here and the owner of the shop owns the property. In a lot this small drivers get creative with their parking. The problem here is that part of the lot belongs to the shop. The property owner comes around at night and chases people out of the shop area. He is not a pleasant guy to deal with.This is just another example of how people, entities and businesses work against truckers while profiting greatly off of them. How can someone be hostile and unaccommodating towards a group of people that is making them rich? I think that this is an area that PFJ could come up in. There has to be a place around here that PFJ could purchase or lease for an overflow lot and provide a shuttle service for the drivers. Anyway, this is a great stop and I welcome the additions. Finally.PFJ, please, no automated, canned response.
