I had a week of terrible experiences car shopping. By Friday when I dejectedly walked into Brookwood Auto I was completely down on all car dealers. I was immediately greeted by canine car ambassador Bailey and melted. This is by far the best car buying experience I have ever had and I haven’t stopped talking about these great people (and fur-person). Andy and Heather were awesome, got me into my new wheels smoothly, and I’ve been smiling ever since. Next time I’m in the market for a car this is my dealer, and I won’t consider anywhere else. I just had the best experience buying a vehicle ever...its not my first rodeo - let me tell you why.Looking to replace my 01 Explorer Sport Trac with another and after a few days of fruitless searching - I found one at Brookwood Auto Group that I was really interested in.My first contact was with Andy, who called within minutes after expressing interest in the vehicle on their website - this was over the weekend when they were closed. I was impressed by his prompt response and setup to meet on Monday.The truck was as described, in fact a little better than I had hoped for!From test drive, to negotiation and purchase this was by far the easiest and best transaction I have ever completed on a vehicle.Owner Michael has built a great team out here!- Andys efforts were stellar! I felt the truck was offered at a great priceand he accepted what I wanted in trade. My in laws parked car was hit during their vacation here and had to leave a few days after. I brought the car by Brookwood for a quick inspection to make sure they could drive home. They were so great and explained the issues they found. And there was the cutest little thank you gift inside the car when I got in to leave! Brookwood sells cars, but they also have a full service center. And they are honest people that I totally trust to be straight with me. Very rare in the car industry.

I had the best shopping and buying experience imaginable at Brookwood Auto!! There was zero pressure, and no stress. The owner Micheal was so nice and so helpful. I got a tour of the new shop. I loved all the new features of sitting in a comfy room and being able to shop on their computer at my own leisure. In the end, I feel I got a way better car than I thought I was going to get. Its been a couple of months and it is running great.. feels brand new to me! I feel they are so honest and trustworthy. The relationship started out very positive, conversations around what we were looking for were promising and they seemed to be very focused on the customer and making sure they were doing the right thing. I was extremely disappointed with the entire process throughout. Poor communication, lack of follow through on basic items, poor professionalism. Only positive is that I was able to get a car that to date has been reliable. Took them an entire month to send my title transfer to DMV (unacceptable) and have continuously made excuses for their lack of organization. Used car dealerships can always be sketchy, but I wouldnt recommend working with Michael Brady or with Heather to anyone unless you enjoy heartburn and headaches.

Very friendly and helpful group of people. I got an amazing car for a great deal and I know they are trustworthy because the owner is a friend of my dads, and they make a lot of effort to let you know that if something does go wrong with the car, they are going to help you out they’re not scamming you. First oil change in 3 months is free and a discounted price on anything you need done on any of your cars! Definitely the best experience I’ve had buying a car.

Wow! I just purchased a 2016 Audi e tron from Brookwood and I had a wonderful experience. They made everything easy, approachable, and pressure less. We were able to find a price that worked for me and got me on the road in a couple of hours. I highly recommend working with Jerry. He was approachable and helpful the entire experience. I highly recommend Brookwood Auto Group, they went above and beyond to make things right form me. I went to Brookwood in early August to look at a Jeep Patriot. The Jeep wasnt comfortable for me but the salesman who was very nice showed me a Subaru Forester in my price range and with the amenities I wanted. The battery was dead which was a bit concerning at first but I really liked it and made the purchase which they made easy. A short time later though I became aware there was a transmission issue. The short of it is that was covered under warranty that came with the car. Another issue surfaced which turned out to be the serpentine belt. After talking to Michael the owner I drove it to Brookwood and they did the repair. Brian the shop manager also made sure the car was looked over thoroughly to make sure there were no other issues which put me at ease. Michael also gave me a check to cover my deductible for the transmission work and to my utter surprise they installed a new battery as well. I was worried what might go wrong next and the inspection and battery really put me at ease. I left with tears of joy and much appreciation in my heart. I feel at peace now that I have a good reliable car that I can feel safe in. I know they didnt have to do any of this and it is a true testament to their commitment to customer service that Michael made things right for me. I drove all the way from Vancouver WA and it was worth it to get the great customer care and service they provided. My advice is to go to Brookwoood Auto Group first before you go anywhere else, theyll treat you right!

This was the best experience weve ever had buying a car from a dealer! Seriously - get your car from here. They have great cars they gave us more than a fair deal. They did not stress us out with crazy, sneaky sales tactics like the others. They act like they to want us to like our car and answer questions without any pressure. I had been looking for a specific car for over a month all over the Portland area and he had the best one in my price range. The car I purchased had a couple of flaws which he had already identified and already had them scheduled to be repaired. The repairs were performed extremely fast and the quality of work was pretty good. Kept us in the loop on what was being done without waiting to be asked. Jonathan Hodges is a man you can trust and he is worth spending your money with him. If you have a wife or daughter or anyone for that matter that you would like to make sure the car has been checked out thoroughly by the best mechanics in The Metro area. But because these machines do experience malfunctions, no on is ever left wanting. (Think about it, man makes these things. Hell Gid made us and look in the mirror.

They answered all of my questions (I had a lot) and at no point did they try to pressure me into buying anything. Brookwood Auto is really an amazing small business. We stumbled upon them while looking for a safe vehicle for our teenage son on Carfax. We found a 2011 Subaru Forester that we liked, so we drove more than an hour to Brookwood to give it a test drive.After meeting with the Brookwood team and learning what they stand for and how different they are from typical car dealerships, we test drove the Subaru (a manual with a new clutch) and decided to purchase the car that day. However, when we drove it home (more than an hour with traffic), we noticed that it had a funny smell. We assumed it was the new clutch just wearing in. But after a few days, the smell just kept getting worse. We were about to reach out to Brookwood, when they actually reached out to us to see how the vehicle was driving and to ask for a pic with our son and his new car. We told them about the smell, and they immediately offered to send out one of their mechanics to take a look free of charge (saving us the headache of driving it back to them).Long story short, the mechanic learned the clutch had been installed wrong (by a third party mechanic while Brookwoods own service shop was under construction), and they towed the vehicle back to their shop to install a new clutch themselves. Once they were sure the car was in perfect working order, they brought it back to us, again free of charge. It is now driving perfectly, no smell and no other issues.While we were worried we bought a lemon from a used car place, Brookwood stepped up and put our mind at ease. Now we know our son is driving in a safe car and we have a trusted friend in the auto world. Thanks Brookwood!

We didnt actually end up buying a car from Brookwood, but I was so impressed with the owner, his sales philosophy, and the quality of cars he carried, that I wanted to leave a review.After driving a car we really liked, we chatted for a long time with Mike who is a tradesman who happens to own a used car business. Hes a straight shooting guy who laid out his mid-range used car business plan: were not aiming for the people who live in the hills and were not going to carry cars that are sold on 82nd avenue in Portland. He said he walked his staff into the neighborhood around the lot and said THESE are our customers and if they cant afford to live in this place, they want to.They do a 127 point check by list on each car and are very selective about the kind of cars they buy at auction so that they match their target audience.We totally would have bought the car we drove (which still had some things to fix up) except that we were on a one-day shopping blitz from out of state while visiting family and couldnt wait around. But if Iived in the area, Brookwood is the kind of place Id send all my friends to and say Hes MY auto dealer.

We have been working with both Micheals Cook and Brady . They are saving my huband and myself from a HORABLE car purchase 6 weeks ago got a 2009 ford edge from another car lot spent 7140 on it and 5 weeks after we got it the transfer case was a complete failure and the other lot went out of business . Well Brookwood saved the day they are putting use in another RELIABLE car, seeing that we have a car because we are on limited income trading staight across just to be able to help out !!! My husband has Congestive heart failure and we need the car to go to doctor when needed .I definitely will be back and tell ALL my people about the values these two men have and the OUTSTANDING customer service they have as well.

RJ was our salesman. He was great. He wasnt pushy or sneaky, it was no Hagel, straight forward he answered all questions I had. He worked hard to help with the resourses we had and I got exactly the car I wanted. Sam is Finance is a great guy. He got us financed and was gracious in the process. Their cars are in good condition and they give a 3 month 3000 mile drivetrain warrenty on all their cars. Could not have asked for a better experience.
