All employees seemed happy to work at this location. Everyone was upbeat and willing to answer questions. The young lady and gentlemen at the self checkout area were not only helpful but answered every question and were so engaged in their role with customer service that I wish I wouldve got their names because they deserve recognition for the 212* customer service.

The Forest lake MN Home depot personnel are friendly and helpful. They always have great advice on proper repairs, always going above and beyond to make sure you have what you need to get the job done.Thank you to all the team for what you guys do best.

Nobody there to help a customer I think this big box store has got two cashiers and one employee walking around the outside of the store no help whatsoever didnt have nothing that I would buy tried Menards they didnt have nothing either all I wanted was a door door for my home they didnt have the kind I wanted they all had special orders and it would take at least a week to get it I wanted to put it in today so I bought it yesterday now today its supposed to rain I dont need it in the rain oh well Ill get one somewhere it will not be l o w e s Lowes in

We went to buy scrubs and I found one of the most beautiful flowers I ever seen. And very unique. We were greeted by this very pleasant and knowledgeable lady who assisted us in one of the most beautiful customer service acts I ever seen in a long time. She helped us right to the cashier and was just excellent! Forest Lake, MN Home Depot you have a Gem working there. And she said she was just there to help water the plants. 🙂🙂🙂 Happy customer=will come back!

All employees were wearing masks, customers not so much. A few here and there. Employees were very helpful with finding what I needed and checking out.

The last two times I have gotten paint from this store the colors have been way off. Luckily my first order was quite large (we were painting our entire home) and we were able to exchange paint but still even after the exchange the colors were slightly off. I understand that the colors are not going to be exactly like the swatches but these colors were nothing near the colors of the swatches. This last time I only bought a gallon of color and the color was not right again so I will just eat the cost of the gallon. I went to my local ace hardware store, found the same color and it came out perfect.

Good selection and fair prices. Layout is easy to find what you need. Service counter people are welcoming and pleasant than a year ago. Fun to shop there :)

Very poor customer service, failed to inform you on any information about appliance delivery and installation. After they explained they would cover 100% of the installation fee on my dishwasher they immediately called back to explain they would only pay 50% of what a plumber cost to install it, after they explained to me in store that they install and deliver same day on the day I bought the dishwasher. Worst and most frustrating experience I’ve had to deal with due to the fact I had to take the day off of work to be able to let them in my house to deliver, install, and take the old back to recycling center. I’ll give Menards my business from here on out!

Home Depot is pretty good but 3 star because I would expect a little more flexibility and savings on fathers day deals. Especially this year. Tons of things out of stock online also.

Horrible service, mgr stated they when you order online and it stated it will be ready in 2 hours the mgr Alyssa stated that that time frame isnt accurate due to a smaller store vs. The larger store have more employees to pull product.If I could rate a lower negative star I would. Dont waste your time at home depot, not worth the headache that is involved.Take your business to menards atleast they have employees to pull products from a shelf.

I have to admit I have not been to a home depot in years, just never very impressed with them in the past. So today was really an eye opener! Lots of staff on hand, greeted at the door, asked for help 4 times in just the short time I was there, and able to get assistance quickly and check out easily. Very nice experience from start to finish!

Bought a trailer load of damaged/torn open bags of mulch. They gave us a price break, and the kids working the yard were super helpful and unbelievably hard-working while loading. I didnt think hard-working kids existed anymore. Maybe theres still hope for some of todays school age generation!

We are new to the area but not new to shopping at Home Depot. We were both immediately impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff was working there. We have never had that experience at any Home Depot before. It would definitely bring us back! Appreciated the excellent customer service.

Much better alternative to Menards, which has went downhill. Home Depot also has a much better online pickup system.

Got a great buy on a Husky rolling tool box!! They done a great job loading it into my pickup ! The whole organisation is always very friendly ! Husky products look like great value products to me.

No customer service on the floor. Self Checkout Attendant was very pleasant. Many aisles blocked. Two people at kitchen design. Didnt even look up, and I went through three times looking for a wall oven. I did make a small purchase.

I love Home Depot, you can look up what you want online ahead of time, shows you if in stock and aisle number so you can easily find what you need!

They managed to provide plenty of friendly assistance despite being understaffed.

I’ll take Home Depot over Menards any day as the staff is much more knowledgeable however the reason for the four stars because it seems like when you don’t need the help you get asked 25 times in a row and when you truly need somebody it’s like there’s no one to be found.

They have some good deals if u can catch the deals.. DeWalt .. maketa.. drills are what I use when it comes to tools u get what u pay for.. dont go cheap unless u doin a diy project

Rae provided excellent insight on what paint to use, as well as a tip on how to match up some paint samples at home.Megan was proficient in getting our paint mixed and out the door.

There high in price but if find a add from another store with a lower price theyll match that price plus you have 90 day to bring it back if you dont like it.

Devin and Trevor at customer service are absolutely excellent employees who went above and beyond to get me what I needed. I couldnt be more pleased.

Asked by 4 people if I needed help, 0 people were to be found at menards 30 min earlier. Prices might be a little higher, service seems more available but stores dont carry as much as on line. One of the employees didnt know what an electric edger was in lawn and garden-never did find one. No edger, no pond pumps and no shower faucets with large rain heads. Lost all three to Amazon.

Mike R & Rae at the paint department were absolutely amazing! We had some issues with a can of paint from another Home Depot and their knowledge and customer service expertise fixed it with no hesitation. They were a pleasure to work with and we will now be making the drive to this Home Depot the next time we need paint!!

Terrible customer service / communication for online order. We ordered a dishwasher last November with a delivery in January. The date was pushed to March with little to no communication. When the appliance was delivered in March it was significantly damaged. The damage happened prior to being packaged as the box was in perfect shape. The delivery company was great. However, there was no communication from Home Depot. A week after the returned delivery we called and were told that there was a new date for delivery (we had recieved no notification of this). When the appliance arrived this time we were told that they were contracted only to deliver not to install. When I went into the order again, the installation and haul away had been canceled without even notifiying us of the change. We understand that materials and manufacturing has been impacted by the events of the last year. It is no excuse, however, for the lack of communication that Home Depot displayed in our senario!

Congested, disorganized sales floor and abundance of unmotivated staff. I have had rotten experiences at this Home Depot the past few times but this took the cake. I asked an associate in the garden center where I could find drip irrigation tubing and fittings. She just shrugged and gave me a stupid look. She said, I dont know what that is. The sales floor is so piled with promotional stacks that you cant even get to the shelves to look at or retrieve an item. Im terribly disappointed.

Jim, in Electrical, was helping one person after another. Was heading down the aisle where a customer flagged him down to inquire about a product locations; Jim stopped in his tracks and walked the customer to the located product, and it wasn’t in electrical. I looked like he was enjoying his job!!!

I went with Homw Depot for replacement window install (14 windows so a decent sized job). Although there were some lacking communication from the job coordinator, the salesman and installation crew were awesome! Very knowledgeable, helpful, and proffessional. The installation crew were also very clean - they picked up EVERYTHING. The whole process overall was absolutely wonderful. The one star off was due to the job coodinators marginal communication.

They do not stand behind their product!! 😡

Ordered a door the first of September and was finally installed January 12th. Freezing outside. A few nicks, dented soffit, and scratched garage floor. One person came out and he wouldnt accept husbands help. Was told I would receive $400.00 compensation credit for the bad experience but they never gave it. I call but no one calls back. Was like that for 5 months. Unprofessional-poor customer courtesy. The installer Shawn however is a true tradesman. Other than the bings and dings he did a very nice job. He works for Crew Two a Subcontractor.

Home Depot has a better selection and quality of plants than its nearby competitor. (However, its nearby competitor has a better summer selection of bird feeders and shepherd hooks.)I also like its reasonably priced indoor/outdoor rugs, which includes some tasteful designs.

The website countertop builder is is VERY misleading. It does not include additional fees they tack on. If you get an estimate from the store or a HD in home specialist it can be 20-30% higher depending on your layout.The countertop estimating tool does allow you to purchase the counter you selected and designed, but that is not the final price you pay. You will receive the final price after someone comes to your house and measures exactly what you need.Extra fees for my counters after measurement(Im doing the plumbing and removal):155$ per angle greater than 45 degrees x 6250$ for an under mount sink to polish the edges250$ oversized charge if your island is over 20fsquare feetIf you decide not to go through with after the final bid they will refund your total purchase less the 200$ measurement charge.

When picking up an assembled wheel barrow at Home Depot, the customer service person was very patient and understanding as I had gave him an incorrect order number. I believe his name was Steve. The associates loading the wheel barrow were very careful and respectful. I wish I had $$ to tip them. Very awesome service.

My original review in June complained that employees werent wearing masks. Thank goodness that has changed. I was there on 7/1/2020 and every employee was wearing a mask.I did curbside pickup at Home Depot. I was impressed. They are still not requiring customers to wear masks but at least theyre starting to get serious. The curbside pickup also went well. Because of the number of items among other issues, I did interact with a few of the staff. All were very friendly, helpful and professional. A very good experience overall.

It has a good selection of pretty much any home expanding itwm you need. Paint, flooring, appliances, and more. Good store with good prices.

The home depot website NEEDS WORK. Some changes were made to it somewhat recently and its absolute trash. Cant scroll through any pages without it randomly taking me to the bottom of a product page. Not specific to this location, i just dont know where else I can leave that feedback. Hoping someone sees this and brings it up to whoever is able to make changes

In regards to our recent shower renovation, they did a great job. They consulted with us about our expectations beforehand. The installation took one day to complete. And when I returned home from work, everything was cleaned up as if they had never been there. Our bathroom feels brand new again and bigger than before. We decided to work with Home Depot for our new house carpet and flooring since we had an amazing experience in our last house with the Blaine Home Depot. With that being said, I would not recommend using Home Depot for anything. We had worked with them but not only had issues on the buying process but also terrible issues with the installation. They installed both our carpet and luxury plank vinyl flooring in our whole new house and there are all sorts of issues. First, the flooring was installed and there are several seams that you can feel when you walk. This product should be a seamless floor and lock into each other easily. That is not the case. It almost appears as though we installed the floor ourselves and not through a professional company. Additionally, when they installed the transitions for the flooring, the did not do it properly for the carpet to sit correctly underneath. This does not make any sense that this could not be corrected as they were the company doing both installs. Furthermore, the carpet installation left gaps around the baseboard trim as they did not actually put the tack strips under the trim but rather about a quarter to a half of inch away and cut the carpet too small so you can easily pull the carpet up as well as you feel the tacks when you walk into a carpeted room. We called the company to get this corrected and they informed us they were going to charge us a $250 trip charge to come and fix THEIR installation mistakes and issues. I am super disappointed that this is the outcome of our experience and that they have not taken any measures to stand behind their product and correct these issues.

But yesterday I just left without buying anything, I was just shocked, staff and customers without masks, no explanations about buying flowers outside, no social distancing, people in clusters when checking out.
