My experience buying the car here was incredibly positive. Joe in particular went so far above and beyond, that I remain a bit humbled. The questions were answered concisely, and we found vehicles that fit my needs. Working with Karen and Joe was a pleasure and Id do it again in a heartbeat.

I gave them three out of five stars. The service and everything was great my only issue was that it took three days for them to even look into the car to see what was going on. This was an inconvenience to me because I didn’t have a car for work. I’m sure they were just busy or short a person. Everything else was A plus. I would give the review a five if they would’ve looked into my car the day my car got towed to the dealership. I was sitting there waiting and waiting to hear back from them and in the meantime I could’ve rented out a vehicle. I hope in the future they get more people to service hybrid cars. The customer service people were very friendly and helped out. This place is a great place to go to you you just have to wait otherwise it would’ve been five stars.

We worked with Tyler Schwinn and he went above and beyond! He included a hat for my husband and a 20 oz chevy tumbler for me in the sale. And then surprised us with 2 new chevy heavy duty floor mats for the driver side and the front passenger side since he noticed one of the factory mats was missing. He also made sure we had a full tank of gas to get back home with since we had a 2 hour drive ahead of us. He was great to chat with even though it was a very long day with them being short staffed with their financing department and even offered us drinks and a sandwich from Jimmy Johns. This dealership is well worth going to and will be returning in the future.

Took my 17 Tahoe in for transmission service. More specifically, a shudder stemming from the TCM system. Mike in the service dept. was quick to diagnose the issue (even ate the cost of the diagnostics) and had me out the door with the flush/fix I needed inside of 3 hours. Highly recommend for Chevy service in Forest Lake or if you’re passing through town.

Hands down, Shawn Jacobs and Karen Garcia are two of the best people to work with! They were so helpful and you could tell they were genuinely looking out for us in making this big purchase. I had looked EVERYWHERE for a place that would cut my Chevy Equinox’s key fob and no one could do it! I finally got into contact with the Forest Lake Chevrolet Cadillac and their service was amazing! As a guest who knows pretty much nothing about cars, Aaron was immensely patient and fun as he helped me through the process and made me feel very welcome. Not only that, but he even took the time to come out and set up the new fob so it was calibrated to my Equinox free of charge! I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I had another place tell me I needed a flush and number of other things done. Chevy checked everything and all I needed was new brakes and possibly rotors done. The other business never mentioned my brakes needed replacement and Chevy didnt push for me to do it there. The employees were super friendly and informative. Would definitely go back to them again.

When I called for my appointment I had somebody actually pick up a phone and not a computer how refreshing!!!!The appointment was made for the next day I drop it off that night and had told them they could have the vehicle all day.I was surprised when they called me at 9 AM and said my truck was ready to be picked up.When I went to pick up my truck I was met buy the receptionist as I entered the showroom floor.She asked if she could help me, I told her I was here to pick up my truck from getting serviced.She did not just point in the direction where the service department was she took the time to walk me back to the service department.The service consultant was quick to get all my paperwork and have my truck delivered to the service bay . He explained what they did and if I had any question?When the truck arrived I wasn’t surprised that it was washed on the outside they usually do that.I’m pretty particular with my vehicles and when I drop it off I did not have time to vacuum or clean the mats.I was surprised and impressed that my mats were spotless and I could tell that they vacuumed.I will continue to use Forest Lake Chevrolet weather I am buying a vehicle or having them service it.Thanks for the great experience

Recently purchased a 2017 KIA Forte from this dealership. Tyler Schwinn was our sales agent and was very personable,knowledgeable and professional. I called and rescheduled my service appointment the lady on the phone told me 3 oclock I get to the service department and they tell me they cant do any service after 3 oclock. After going back and forth they finally took my truck to get an oil change and tire rotation. I asked them if they can rotate and balance my tires they never got back to me on the balance part. I also asked them several times to check and put air in my tires. I stated that on my dash it says low tire pressure and that if they need to change the air valves on my tires to go ahead. They never checked the tire pressure or put air in my tires. To top everything of this was my first time going to Forest Lake Chevrolet dealership for service on my truck, they came and got me out the waiting room and said that my vehicle is ready yet but they figure I could pay for it to get me out of there faster. So I went and paid for the service when Im walking out towards my truck I noticed they put my truck through a car wash which i was never informed they were going to do I had my truck wash and hand dried the day before. I had a brand new in box $450+ grill I just bought, a Stihl backpack leave blower, climbing harness and ropes, Nike air force one shoes and other stuff in the back of the bed of my truck that got ruined and all wet. Very disappointing, unsatisfied and completely unhappy with the whole service from the start to the end. Also called to speak to manager about issues they didnt answer I left a voice mail and havent heard anything back.

I have NEVER had a car buying experience quiet like this one. I was searching on car soup for months for my perfect vehicle and stumbled across what appeared to look like a great deal. I hit “Im interested” filled out the info needed and Mandie messaged me very quickly. I am 250 miles from this dealership and they went above and beyond to have 98% of the paperwork ready for me by the time I got there. The Forest Lake Automotive Group was was friendly, BUT there extended warranty prices were WAY to high!!! Average working citizens can’t afford a nearly $5,000 cost to warranty Chevrolets products for 8 years with a $100 deductible. Get real! Chevy needs to be realistic with there cost structure or I will never buy another Chevy product again.

Kind, friendly service with timely updates on progress. The repair was to a leak in an oil cooling line, which also required oil pump replacement. Since I was there, I was hesitant to mention the transmission shudder on my 2017 Colorado Z71. All repairs were completed and 100% covered by the 60,000 mile drive train warranty! 3 months and over 3,000 miles later, all is still good! Usually goes well, this time I said there is a problem with the brakes and has been since the rear ones were replaced at 85K miles, a slight chatter when applied. They checked both front and rear and found nothing wrong. I drove it home and still felt the chatter.

Loved the new text updates and responses. They were also able to get my intermittent issue to act up and so were able to fix it.

It was ok. When I came into the doors. There was 10 people in there and only one guy acknowledged me. However he wasn’t the one who was going to check me in. So I moved 2 times to the correct desk. The lady who checked me in was ok. She wasn’t super friendly. She of course immediately tried to up-sell my visit. I was already going to be there for awhile so I declined. The wait was about 40 minutes longer then they said. The cashier asked how I wanted to pay and when I said cash she said oh and then sat there. I said do you want a card instead. She said yes that would be easier. When I left the guys left the number on my keys and in my window. I hate having to throw all that away. Also my seat and mirrors were moved as well as some buttons. They also dimmed my inside lights all the way. Super annoying.I feel as if when they did the inspection they didn’t really check off items. I have had my truck for 4 years and everything was in the green. Seems fishy considering my tires are in the yellow as well as a few other things. I went here because I had a recall but most likely won’t be back.

I have a 2016 CPO Chevy Colorado that I purchased last September. My front suspension started performing poorly 3 months ago, I brought it to Stillwater Chevy for service and was told by 2 technicians and a shop foreman that nothing was wrong and no repair was done. I brought it to Forest Lake Chevy, and within hours they told me the shocks were bad and needed replacement, they did the warranty work and truck rides beautifully. Very satisfied with Forest Lake Chevy! And very disappointed with Stillwater Chevy, not sure if its incompetence or laziness, but thank God for the amazing service at Forest Lake Chev!

Asked that tire pressure be left alone and they adjusted them anyway. I had to spend time getting them back to where I want them.Ball joints on both sides were not greased. Didnt crawl under yet to see if any other grease fittings were missed.

Buyers Beware: This business will not honor your lifetime warranty - Do not purchase it or trust them to follow through on what they are offering.My dad purchased a truck a few years back, then passed away suddenly. I had no need for a truck, so I sold it with the understanding that I would get a pro-rated refund (thousands of $) for the warranty. I drove 45 minutes out to this dealership and submitted all of the necessary paperwork, including scans of my father’s death certificate, my ID, vehicle registration, proof of sale, and other private information. I was told that it would take up to 5 weeks for the refund to be processed and a check to be cut. However, It has been nearly a year and we have received nothing. I have followed up multiple times with staff at this location and they said they have no record of me ever submitting this paperwork. Now they have asked for all of my confidential information AGAIN, including my mother’s marriage certificate (even though at the time of his death, they had been divorced for several years) and I am the executor of his estate. This time around, they also didn’t correctly fill out the paperwork and sent the check to my deceased father’s home, which obviously he doesn’t live at and I explicitly stated where the check should go and provided all the documents necessary to prove this case.Extremely disappointed in how they have managed to drag their feet for a full year to give us what we are owed. Either the staff are incompetent and cannot submit basic paperwork, or they’re intentionally causing delays in order to not fulfill their requirements offered through the lifetime warranty.
