I recently moved to Fort Atkinson and needed a few things, found this local store.. and was very surprised by the customer service! Everytime I go into the store I am greeted and asked if I need help finding anything. I never have to look for anyone they find me. Knowledgeable, very friendly, affordable prices and cool products. Highly recommend!

Horrified by the customer service today! I came right before close. There were still two customers in the store but someone was at the door locking it in between people leaving. I headed back to my car but realized it was 2:58 so I asked if I could grab something fast. He was nice enough to let me in. 3 ladies stared at me by the paint while I grabbed what I needed. One informed me it was 3:02 (maybe it was by then...but really??) I said I was there before 3 and she rudely responded Well ALL of our computers say 3:02 so...sorry!! I was so blown away by her rude tone I ushered my kids out the door as fast as I could.Literally shocked by this terrible service at my small town hardware store. Sorry you got one last sale at 3:02. If youre rude to people at close you certainly shouldnt work in retail.

I rent the skid steer here when I have jobs in the area and Gaye is great! She always takes care of me and her customer service is great. I will always come back because of her service!

Excellent selection with competitive prices - even less than Theisens, Menards. Excellent helpful staff got me several items I needed in less than 90 seconds. I ended up browsing and bought more. Way better then Watertown store!

Customer service is terrible. Employees are incredibly disrespectful. Dont come at the end of the day or they glare at you.

Clean store, friendly associates, and convenient location. Prices are a but much for the area, but when youre the only game in town you can charge what you want.

Very helpful and friendly. I rented a lawn aerator and they were very helpful with loading and unloading. The machine was in excellent shape and performed flawlessly.The only issue I had was that I had rented the machine for 24 hours and returned it after only 8 hours. They were unwilling to refund any of the payment I had made for the 24 hour period.

If you get a puzzled look for even a moment an employee will pop their head around the corner asking to assist. Cant beat that customer service. Always so knowledgeable too, like every one of them. If you know what your overall plan is these folks will help you get the tools and materials you need to make it happen.

Everyone is very helpful and polite. I go there often during the warmer months for all of our outdoor projects. Please think of theses guys for your home project needs and shop local.

This is a great local store but they DO NOT enforce mask rules. If you’re immunocompromised or if you live with someone who’s at risk, you should probably shop somewhere else for now 😢We want to support local businesses, and it’s a huge inconvenience to have to drive to Janesville or Johnson Creek for paint and other home remodeling supplies, but we just don’t feel safe in there anymore.

They have everything I need for home repairs. They have a great rewards program. Their prices are fair and reasonable. The staff on the other hand can be stand off-ish, unwilling to help, and a few are knowledgeable about the products they carry or even the purpose of some products. This isnt always the case, I have had exceptional customer service experiences. However, when it comes to the cashiers thats another story. 9 out of 10 have an attitude problem and are rude not to mention down right incessant about their duties and definitely pertaining to good customer relations.

A great community-oriented store work lots of fun items for stocking stuffers in the winter. They generally have any home improvement odds and ends that you might need, too. Kind employees.

Mark up is too high on products

I have an old house and old appliances, so Ive been here many times over the years. I appreciate the wide variety of parts and products they carry, well organized too, when Ive found myself needing something in the middle of a project. The staff is always helpful but never pushy. Some examples of customer service: Theyve opened another register even though there are only a couple people in line, a staff member didnt have experience with my question so they found someone who did instead of guessing, they special ordered an obscure part for me, they werent even pushy or hovering when I didnt realize they closed 5 minutes ago. Ive never had a bad experience.

A very friendly atmosphere and a very well laid out store over all. Has a great location with moderate parking that accommodates trucks with small trailers without impeding the flow of customers. By far, my favorite Ace location.

Typical small town hardware store with prices to match. Service ok. Check out took a little while to get through.

I go here when I have no other option, but in their parking lot they have a wonderful vegetable truck they allow to sell from there! That is my main reason for visiting Goyer.

The customer service knowledge that guy race provides is far superior than any of the big box centers prices are competitive but it outweighs the knowledge tenfold everything you need plus the kitchen sink as a guy race. I want to buy to carriage bolts and I walked out with $111 worth of merchandise I just couldnt help myself some things a man just has to have on his do-it-yourself Arsonal

Best customer service

Dont expect to pick something up quick right before closing. I needed a last minute part to finish up a job, I got there at 4:55 on a Saturday knowing they closed at 5, also knowing I would be out of there in less than 5 minutes. When I walked up to the door another customer was standing at the doors locked out, while an employee stood inside the locked door letting out the few customers who were checking out. We said its not 5 yet we both knew exactly what we needed and we would be in and out. He said no we are closed. Thanks for the great service!

A great hardware store I went in for some plumbing hardware for an outdoor faucet he did not have the adapter that I needed in the one that I had had a Short length of pipe that was stuck in it at no charge he took my part and got the broken piece out of it and got me the rest of the parts I needed for my project I give their service and a plus.

I drove a long way to purchase an item they had in stock. There was a minor discrepancy in price but the manager was concerned about my satisfaction and discounted the item to match my expectations. Customer satisfaction goes along ways to having a repeat customer. Thank you!

I have shopped at Goyers for years. Always a wonderful experience. Shopping as a homeowner, hobbyist and DIYer, staff is very helpful and friendly. Shopping on a commercial level for a construction business is satisfying as well. The rental equipment is well maintained and very reasonably priced.
