Shopping local is important to us. We got both hitches installed on our vehicles here. The prices are comparable to other places, but the staff is so nice. A polite gentleman helped me right away and started answering my questions with expertise. He spoke to me with respect, and that meant a lot to me in a male-dominated service.

I had a very bad experience with Bullhide 4x4. I wanted to purchase a lift kit for my four door Jeep Wrangler. I was told by two of the salesman that my price out the door was going to be $2100 for everything. I thought that sounded pretty fair compared to other places. I had heard good things about Bullhide. They ended up selling me the kit and setting a date for it to be installed. A couple days later I received a call from them saying we would like to get it in before your appointment just to make sure everything looks good. They didn’t mention that to me at the time of the sale keep in mind. I said “okay I guess, I’ll bring it for you guys”. I went in for the appointment and they did there inspection. The salesman said okay we have your inspection done and there are a few things we need to do to it before we can put the lift kit on. He printed out a page with everything that was “supposedly” wrong with the vehicle. The total was now $4500 roughly. He told me that everything was mandatory for them to put the lift kit on. I knew my car wasn’t in bad shape at all and is very taken care of. I left Bullhide and took my Jeep to a very well know business in Fort Collins. Two of there head mechanics took a look at the list of everything Bullhide claimed to be wrong with the car. They told me none of that stuff needed to be replaced and all looked great. They were honest and upfront with me about my vehicle unlike Bullhide. They told me “Bullhide should be ashamed of themselves and we will no longer be recommending them.” I am very upset with Bullhide 4x4 and the way they conduct business. I will not be back here and will not be recommending them to any family/friends/employees. Hopefully this review helps you out if you are planning to come to Bullhide. I recommend you absolutely don’t.

4 years ago I bought a truck through a dealership and Bullhide did the lift. After doing donuts in the snow one of the back shocks broke. We I called, Scott told me the warranty had expired but offered to help out and only charged me for the part, no labor! He went out of his way to find the part and installed it as soon as it arrived. It is awesome to work with a company that truly cares more about the customer then getting every penny possible! Thank you Scott and team Bullhide 4x4!

Expensive!!!! Not honest about pricing.I have a brand new 2021 Kia Telluride. I wanted to install a 2 inch lift kit. I had already bought the lift kit from Truxx 2 months ago for 268 bucks. I asked how much it would cost for the kit and they told me 589. Then another 810 for labor but he said he round it down to 800. (high) I asked why so much and he said it would take 6 hrs or more (accutualy takes about 2 hrs)Then he said they were backed up till end of June. So plan accordingly. I thought...NO....NO and NO and walked out even though I heard good things about them. I called around to other local places and I am getting it installed for 635 (with tax) next week. Could of done it at tire place for 486 but they dont normally do lifts and I was worried about quality of service.P.S.I went back to the Truxx web site to see if price has changed in last 2 months. It is now 537 but there is a 10% or 20% off code for new buyers depending on item. Thus, I recommend shopping for parts/service before you get work done anywhere.

I had excellent experiences with Bullhide 4x4.First they worked with my idea instead of trying to sell me something I didnt want. I got a Dobinson lift for my T4R and they sourced the parts and did the installation.When I mentioned that I have abnormal tire wear after a little more than 500 miles they offered a free re-alignment right away.So far, I really can recommend this shop to anybody who is looking for upgrading their truck. Customer service is great, the staff is knowledgeable, they have all parts you might need and overall everyone there is very friendly.

Spend your money with a company that supports stay the trail and doesnt post videos advocating for destruction of trails. There are many other local shops that actually work on protecting trails for long term enjoyment. The type of behavior they support will get trails shut down.Also in response to similar reviews they express the BS sorry youre offended line. This type of apology is so fake. No, we want trails protected like responsible companies advocate so they are there long term.

Had a very good experience with these guys and am very pleased with the work done. I guess the project took them a lot longer than expected but they only charged me the initial price that I was quoted for. The original price I thought was on the high side but this project had unforeseen complications. Again, very happy overall and would recommend these folks for custom work.

Im trying to support a friend of a friends business. But an offroad shop that is not open during the biggest holiday shopping weekend is ridiculous. The staff is knowledgeable, they do have a large selection of in house products. Granted overpriced, but it not a chain shop so I get the pricing. What i dont get is how often this shop has been closed everytime i want to come in and spend money. So yes i am going to spend my money at their competition and get more for my money.

These Guys rock! Seriously some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I showed up on a Wednesday evening with needing tow package installed on my vehicle with in 24 hours. They didn’t have the parts on hand and could not get them in. They called another shop to help me get the parts. I was able to buy the parts the next morning and these guys did the install for me even though They were 2 weeks out on appointments. They even went so far as to check that my trailer breaks would work with the new set up. Really appreciated how willing they were to help me out in a pinch!!

I called Bullhide in a panic after an alignment shop down the street broke our 24 hours of lemons race car 2 days before tech inspection. While this is not a 4x4 car, Heather at Bullhide managed to find the switch I needed and get it to the shop within 15 hours. For a local company to get a switch quicker than Amazon, is IMPRESSIVE! Ordered some new nerf bars for my Tundra and I thought they did not fit right and he called the company and was assured they were the right bars. Just purchased a Gladiator to pull behind our RV, the parts guy tracked down parts I was having a hard time finding in minutes, had them shipped overnight and picked them up the next day. They bend over backwards to help and i really feel like they look out for me on the cost.I started with my truck, but they do all the work on my wifes and daughters cars. We took our Toyota truck to Bullhide for a sprayed in bed liner. We received excellent customer service. Their quality of work is also top notch. We very much appreciated their ability to work with us with an excellent time frame.

Great local shop. Expert advice and really good guys in there (and gals). Theyve helped me out many times and are much better than most other shops.

Called for a quote on an 1 1/4” body lift from rough country on a 2011 Sierra 1500 crew cab and was quoted $1100 for install. I was told it would take 10-11 hours, even though the manufacturers estimate was 3-5 hours. I figured a 4x4 shop probably does these frequently and would have the tools, facilities, and knowledge to do them and at a fairly reasonable time and rate. Needless to say, doing it myself and I have the entire front done in 3 hours on and off on the floor in my garage, probably won’t take much more to do the bed at this point either. Maybe they just didn’t want to do it so they through a huge number out, seems ridiculous to me though.

Been here a few times. The customer service is superb. They constantly find ways to go out of the way and help out. Prices range from inexpensive to expensive but when relative to other business like amazon with a comparable product they are inexpensive.I got some headlights for my Jeep and they were less expensive than amazon. One of the lights came defective and they replaced them without batting an eye. Even when I was hesitant Brian said he wanted me to be wholly satisfied and he would return my money if I wasnt. Took my hesitation away instantly.Well done to the team over there. I tip my hat off and will be returning for all my offroad business needs.

I found Bullhide after struggling to find a place that could balance the wheels on my lifted 4runner correctly. Every other place I brought it to would balance them wrong and I would get bad steering wheel vibration at around 60 mph. I was annoyed because it seemed like a pretty simple thing that nobody could figure out. I took a chance on Bullhide and with the help of Trevor they nailed it on the first try. You can tell its a family run operation because they go above and beyond for their customers. Trevor went the extra mile to ensure my rotation/balance was perfect and they earned me as a customer for life. Highly recommended.

Wow! My first time using Bullhide and what a pleasure! I took my Jeep in since the check engine light was on...they were busy and didnt have an immediate appointment for me and I couldnt leave my Jeep so I made an appointment the following day at 800am...I arrived at 800am and they got me in right away and within 30 minutes had told me I needed to replace my speed sensor...I told them I had to be at work at 1000am and they said no problem getting the job done...by 930am I was on my way to work! They were friendly, helpful, reasonably priced and got the job done in the timeframe I was told...I will be back for future services and repairs!
