Porsche club recommended Poudre Sports Car to me. I had been disappointed in my local mechanic in Boulder. IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE. Zach (the owner) personally attended to my 1988 911 Cabriolet. It has literally never run better in the 18 years Ive owned the car. He tuned the suspension and fixed longstanding issues that my prior mechanic neglected. I cant praise his work enough - its running and handling like a brand new car :-)

Exceeded expectations. Poudres mechanics are as good as you find anywhere! They were able to get me on schedule the same week I called, and their prices are fair. Its a good feeling to know that the work will get done right, by a company you can trust.

These guys are the best in the business when it comes to german cars. Countless times I have came here to get my BMW M3 diagnosed and everytime they have a solution to the problem. If I could give them 6 stars I would. These guys love what they do and you can see it in their work.

Purchased 3 Porches from them. Respect, attitude and customer service was extremely lacking in the latter years. Despite service, and purchases, I was told I was “not a customer anymore!” My wife and I got 2 different quotes for the same fix! They used to support veterans, but they don’t now, due to the lack of the ever known Stephen. Over priced. There’s plenty of mechanic(s) who can do the same jobs if you can’t or can’t find. If you drive a German car there are plenty of options, they are just cars. Happy searching!

Bought “my” first car at poudre sports car in 2009. Since then Zach and Stefan have been the go to when I need work done on a performance car. I just recently brought them my cayenne 958 which had a intermittent issue with the air suspension. They diagnosed it and turned it around in record time over the holidays no less.In the end the decision is simple. If you have a BMW/Porsche ect and live on the front range. You can either bring it to the dealership; pay too much, have it take tooLong and probably in the end come back because it wasn’t fixed rightORBring it to poudre sports car and get your vehicle properly fixed in less time and for less money than it takes to get a cup of coffee at the dealership... while at the same time supporting a local family owned business.11/10

When you own an older model Porsche that no longer has any warranty coverage, it is very important to find a good shop. Since 2011 Poudre Sports Car has provided me with that necessary shop, where I can take either of my 1989 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolets and receive quality service. Porsche autos are well engineered and will provide excellent reliability if routine and preventative maintenance is performed.I try to do a lot of my routine maintenance, but sometimes my garage is not set up to do some of the more extensive maintenance procedures. This is where Poudre Sports has filled that void and helps me keep both my cars in good running condition. They are attentive to the cars immediate needs as well as providing information on components that may require maintenance in the near future. With both cars over 25 years old, it gives me peace of mind that Poudre Sports partners with me to keep them in good shape. I would recommend their shop to any Porsche owner looking for similar service needs.

My husband and I each have gotten a car here. I had a BMW and he got a Mercedes. Great and easy customer service experience and the cars were a dream! They made everything easy and affordable for some nice cars! They also hold an event each year to come eat, drink and look at some really beautiful cars that people bring in (not to buy, just to oogle at). So fun!

I have taken my BMW 328i & Porsche Cayman S to Poudre Sports Cars for over 8 years. I like the fact that you can get to know the owners and techs personally. I do most of the basic maintenance on my cars myself, yet Poudre is my first choice for work that is beyond my capabilities. They have always given me honest & accurate estimates and they take good care of me and my cars. My Cayman developed a tiny head gasket coolant leak. Zach, Drew and the team at Poudre helped me keep an eye on the seepage for over a year. Recently they observed that it had gotten worse and that it was time for a repair. I was given a wide range of options from minimalist repair to upgrading the internals for more HP, including recommendations for preventative maintenance (ex. clutch replacement) that would be far less expensive while they already had the engine out. 5 thumb up!

Poudre Sports Car has handled big and small repairs for me. They always provide an accurate, up-front estimate and complete the work on time. While traveling cross country in a 1978 911 SC, the local Ft. Collins Porsche dealer couldnt help with an ignition issue (not a classic dealer) but they pointed me to Poudre Sports Car. Zach, Stephen and they guys jumped through hoops to get the trouble diagnosed, repaired and back on the road. Awesome!

When I brought my car to Poudre I thought I had a minor problem. It turned out to need a major engine overhaul. I was made aware of the problems and had a say on whether I wanted that part of the job done or not. I was shown the parts they took out and they did need fixing/replacement. I shot the budget but when you have a limited production car that is 42 years old, what can you expect? I was pleased with the work that Poudre did for me. My car has never run so good. Its a completely different car.

Ive known of Poudre as one of the more trusted shops for Porsche for a while because I participated in PCA track events and the Poudre name came up a lot. (I was driving a BMW at the time.)So when I started shopping for a used, affordable Porsche (which do exist—I ended up spending less than I would have for the Subaru I was eyeing), I queried them and had some good exchanges of info.I ended up buying elsewhere, but I wanted some preventive maintenance done so I took my 911 there. The long and short: Friendly folks, straight shooters, good pricing, and they know their stuff.

I took my Jag to have a problem of the car overheating to them. They had it 2 weeks. They never called me to give me an update on the vehicle, I did all the calling. After 2 weeks I get a call that they moved it outside behind the shop because they were too busy, and with attitude! I would have to wait another 2 weeks before they could get to it. They said they would have to work on the engine since they felt that was the problem. I had it towed to a Jaguar shop in Denver. On the phone the owner diagnosed the problem, cooling pump broke. Thank heavens I got it out of Poudre Sports before they started tearing into the engine and charging me a fortune. If you own a Jaguar do not bring it to Poudre Sports, if you do, you have been warned.

I have found their techs to be extremely knowledgeable and efficient in all things 911, and recommend them highly. Their pricing is fair and their ability to explain their work in detail has been unparalleled in my experience. Those guys dont value REPUTATION at all.I took my Porsche Boxster S to their repair shop for a check engine light (I passed emission with that light with 0 NO and 0 CO. Also, the light is not flashing). They told me my catalytic converter need to be replaced. It is totally bad. That, in result would cost $1300+labor. I highly suspect it because I passed emission with a perfect result (they dont know). They charged me $60 for diagnose. ALL they used is one guy 10 mins. Okay, I find another shop and was told its burning oil. under their suggestion, I changed my oil and filter, then reset the check engine light. That light never comes back again until now, one week later 300 miles.IMHO, never take your baby to their repair shop. Those guys only know MONEY not REPUTATION. They consider BMW and Porsche owners as money bag. Never give them a shot !!!

I received an estimate from Poudre Sports for an IMS bearing retrofit and got an estimate from the Porsche dealer. The difference between the 2 estimates was $3300 vs $3200, $100. I chose to have Poudre Sports Car (PSC) do the repair because of the many accolades in their reviews. They did a good job as the car is running fine after the repairs (car was running well before the repair). I was somewhat disappointed in the total cost of repair and maintenance items as it seemed equal to dealer cost. I had an additional $2500 worth of maintenance work done since it would be less expensive to do it now when the engine and transmission is out. In the end the cost did not seem like I saved any money through economy of scale but just paid all the higher rates. I will probably give PSC another try in the future but will be much more cost wary.

I started going to Poudre Sports Car over 10 years ago when another local shop did a shody repair and wouldnt honor their work. Poudre has been my go-to shop ever since. We have purchased a car from them since then and they have done a great job maintaining it. They maintain both my 2007 and 1999 BMWs and my 1981 911. They are very easy to work with and will explain exactly what is going on during the process. I dont think there is a more knowledgable shop in Northern Colorado for your German car.PSC is also a big supporter of the local Porsche Club. They host the tech sessions and have been very helpful at driving events. The club is very happy to have their support.
