Very polite staff. Dog on staff for sniff inspections. I purchased a Raspberry Pi Zero W (not something shop made). It was marked up 50% over the suggested retail price, but getting one shipped would cost more. I cant comment on their computer servicing or in shop made computers.
Expert and patient customer service to help reinstall a vanished Microsoft Office 2016 program, as well as review updated functions on my new computer. Extremely superb, knowledgeable staff that not only understands the issues but communicates with customers in an excellent manner. I would recommend Computer Resources to anyone with computer needs. They are my go to from now on. Thanks Mike and staff. I left feeling much more knowledgeable and capable of using my new computer to its best potential for my personal applications.
I rarely give five stars to places but I feel TJ earned it. I came in and explained I was looking for a cheap laptop for school. He showed me a few options. Didn’t try to up sell me. I asked what he had in the back. He wasn’t even done with one but showed me a laptop I couldn’t pass up. He told me he’d have it ready next day if that was the one I wanted. He had it done first thing in the morning and ready at the register to pick up. Definitely recommend them.
The expertise and customer service at Computer Resource is excellent. They provide options, and explain the pros and cons of each. This is not a sell at any price shop; they genuinely want to fix your device, but dont beat around the bush regarding what is realistic. These are qualified techs with customer skills. I needed to replace my damaged laptop, and they made it possible for me to use my original one while setting up my new/used one. Used systems are very reasonable. Pay attention to the warranty to have appropriate expectations. They are honest and realistic. They also repair cell phones, change batteries, etc. Even with a technical background, I learned something new, which I love. No one knows everything, but we can learn so much from one another.
Retail prices at a resale store. If youre not too terribly tech savvy, then this place is probably perfect for you. But $70 for data transfer? That is highway robbery at its finest.
This is exactly what I want when Im way outside my comfort level - they were very helpful and took the time to explain why I needed what I did; charged a very reasonable price; and did the work excellently. Friendly, helpful, honest and competent are hard to beat. Highly recommend.
I took a chance with Computer resource, and I am happy that I trusted them.I needed to replace my laptop literally one week before I was to leave to study abroad for several months. Funds were already tight, and I was only going to be able to free up around $200 to buy myself a laptop. I took my old computer to try get offset the cost a little and they gave me a reasonably fair price for it. Then they helped me find a laptop that fit my needs better. It was a little older but something that I would hopefully be able to use for a long time, and it was in my price range.I took a chance and bought the laptop. I used it pretty extensively in the week leading up to my departure, as I would still be able to get back to them if need be. It worked fine and I brought it along with me to Tunisia. Two months later, it has been all over this country with me and is about to go to Italy for a few weeks. I use it to talk to all of my friends in the US who help me stay sane and I rely on it to do my classwork. It is my lifeline and Id be lost without it.I feel like I got a good product at a decent price at Computer Resource. The guys who work there were kind and provided kind and helpful service. I appreciate them and recommend them to you folks in FoCo and northern Colorado.
I brought in my laptop afraid of hardware failure, but was pleasantly surprised that not only did they diagnose it as a fixable software problem, but fixed it at a very fair and achievable price. They were kind and understanding about my concerns on certain resolution-based problems as well, and since then, my old laptop has been running as smoothly as an antique can.I will be returning when more repairs are needed and referring them to friends and family for theirs.
Great alternative to the big box stores. Im a nerd, so I go in there expecting to know more than the typical customer, and in some cases the employees. And thats OK. Im not looking to to play nerd Jeopardy or stump-the-chump. All Im looking for is friendly customer service and a reasonable understanding of computers. You will find that from these guys. They helped me spec out and build a PC. Yes, they tried to get me to use some old parts they had sitting in the back room for a couple of years, and when I resisted they didnt give me a hard time. These are good people, and any reviews I read on here about being treated poorly and referring to them as jerks I have a hard time believing based on many personal experiences to the contrary. If you go in there with a chip on your shoulder maybe it tests their professionalism? I dont know. My advice? Dont act like a douche bag and expect to be treated like a prince? It just doesnt work out so well usually...no matter where you go.5 stars
Fast and knowledgeable. I didnt have time to fix mine. They updated, repaired, and put back in some missing screws. Definitely recommend!
Great service and repair. They also have great prices on used laptops!! Computer Resource is the only place we trust for computer repair.
I have purchased two desktops from Computer Renaissance over the last 9 years. The first one was perfect for me but technology outpaced its performance and my laptop was blowing it away in speed - I had maxed out the memory (which was easy to upgrade - they would just throw in another chip - very inexpensive.) So when the start button finally gave way.....we started over with a new one. Built from the different parts/manufacturers they use - this computer purchased about 2 years ago is still the most awesome machine. It is fast, reliable and perfect for my needs. I have always had great service at their store - Mike is a good business owner and the sales people have been very knowledgeable and helpful. I think some of the reviews on here are a bit harsh. Computer geeks sometimes feel it necessary to do the I know more than you routine on sales people just because......and you are not always going to find a clone of you in a store selling computers - get over it! If they can research and find out your answer - that is fine by me. Their service totally and completely shines way above any service at Best Buy.....good luck with the people there (bad!) I am going in today to get a memory upgrade and when I saw these harsh reviews I felt the need to say that this local Fort Collins computer store ROCKS! (you will find John in the service department to be very honest - it might not be what you want to hear - like your computer is slowly dying....dude....time it maybe think of an upgrade before it totally goes during a huge project? - listen to the man...he knows his stuff) Thanks Mike and Staff! I will continue to purchase and service my computers at Computer Renaissance!
WE have been satisfied customers of Computer Resource for many years. Mike and his technicians have set up not only me and my husband but also all of my kids as they were heading off to college! The service is more customized and friendly than at the big box stores and you get all this at a better price!
These guys got me a deal on an old recycled computer from 2004. Ill be using it in a project to build a vintage looking sleeper computer. Thanks guys!
They were able to save an external hard drive for me at a reasonable price. Bought a computer from them last year and it works great, cost a fraction of a comparable new computer. Nice people to work with!!
Really like this business. They are great. Fixed my laptop on the spot. I have gotten 3 computers from them over the years and I am happy with them. Thank you guys !!
The experience at the store was fantastic. Everyone was very helpful, and the selection of used and new parts was just what I needed. Also, their return policy is top-notch. This is my new go-to place for everything I need!
Ive had both my laptop and phone repaired here and both times I felt entirely respected and valued. The work was done well and finished when I expected it. When I got my phone screen replaced, I picked it up off the counter while I was paying and dropped it. It didnt have a case or screen protector on it so it cracked again. I was upset with myself and didnt want to place my clumsiness on the employee but he offered to stay late and replace the screen again at a discount. I let him go home but I returned to get it replaced again and he helped me pick out a good case for it to prevent future problems. Thanks for going above and beyond to save me from myself!
If you want to buy your computer from a friendly, knowledgeable local business, Computer Resource is your destination. The friendly team sells both new and reconditioned computers and accessories, answers questions in ways you can understand, and is so helpful you will find yourself wanting to come back for all your computing purchases or repairs. We recently purchased a laptop and software here, and could not believe how incredibly helpful Austin and TJ were. We knew we needed a computer, but had not decided on a specific model. They helped us choose a computer that was perfect for our needs, and within our budget. It also felt great to be able to support a local business, rather than enriching Amazon or one of the big box stores.
They saved the day for me. My only laptop wasnt charging and they did everything they could to find a solution. Great people and great prices!
We are repeat customers and have always had a great experience with Computer Resource. Their hardware, network configuration, and on-site service and support have been exactly what our small business needed! Highly recommended.
Came in at the end of the day needing RAM diagnosed / upgraded. TJ was clearly busy but took a few minutes to get me up and running. In and out in maybe 15 minutes. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. This is now my go-to place in Ft Collins.
These guys are great. We use them at my firm and Im honestly shocked how good there costumer service is. I cant think of a time they havent delivered above my expectation.
TJ is awesome! He help me through everything. I brought in a unit that was subpar which he did test out and ended up not working out well so he took a computer off the shelf and customized it to fit my budget. He was very patient and Ill definitely be using them again
WOW!!! This place here... I come from the socket-7 days and haven’t seen ANYTHING from before, Needless to say I learned several new things in my first visit. Very friendly staff, AWESOME organizational skills AND The guy has a SUPER AWESOME PUPPY NAMED GABY!!! Will be a habitual repeat customer!!!
Dillon (or Dillan) was an absolute breath of fresh air from the phone call to the store all the way to the register to buy the product. He found what I needed, pulled it aside, walked in and was taken care of in 5 minutes. The only place that had a regular PC display port in Fort Collins! Excellent customer service, excellent prices. Well done gents.
Ive been a client of Computer Renaissance for many years, referred by my daughter, who was most impressed with their service. I know customer service, having been a customer service professional for more than 20 years. Their technical expertise is superb, as is their concern for client satisfaction. I had the misfortune of all three of my PCs going down within the same week, a dire situation for someone self-employed in a home business a good distance from town. They worked hard to be sure I had at least one working at all times, and did a remarkable job of troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades at most reasonable prices. They turned around the repairs and upgrades as quickly as they could. Im so relieved they are a service provider in my area, and hope they are here for many more years to come. Many thanks to Carol, John, Mike and Dylan, especially. You all deserve the best of everything in your lives.
Every time I have come here (granted I have never run into the lady everyone seems to be upset about), they have been short and to the point, knowledgeable, and blunt. I think that a lot of people that are complaining should go probably to best buy or somewhere else that doesnt cater to the more knowledgeable about computers. It sounds to me that more than likely that they were frustrated by you not communicating what you needed from them, because your are retarded, and then you interpret it as them coming across as short or ill tempered. EVERY time I have been there, they have been busy, so they dont have the time to answer your questions that could easily be answered online, like what is ram. give them a break.
Casey from Computer Resource did a great job replacing the glass and digitizer on my laptop. They quoted a fair price, and special ordered the required parts for my laptop. They also let me pick up my laptop due to time it took to get the part in (with pre-paying for the special ordered parts), & completed the work in an afternoon, upon dropping it off again. Thanks again for the good service.
Cant say enough good things about how great it was working with this company! John was wonderful and everything went smoothly! I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a place to go!
There arent many options for computer sales or computer repair, upgrade services in Fort Collins. Therefore, you need to know that they do NOT repair laptops. They repair computer towers. The cost of an a review of a laptop for malware is between $135 and $165, That is the quote I was given, on 7/14,/2016. If you consider this a reasonable charge for this service then use them for your computer needs.
I dont know why the reviews are only a 3.4 instead of 5. The owner, Mike, goes out of his way to help the customer in every way he can.Having been an intern and a long time customer at CR, I would absolutely recommend this place as the number one computer store in Fort Collins! I would give it a 6 star rating if I could.
Cool store, helped me find the adapter I needed. They were very informative.
They have hard to find parts if you know what youre doing. They will help you with anything from simple to complicated if you dont know what youre doing. Extremely professional & polite. Ive used them for 10+ years and they have built some quality systems for me and always go the extra mile when I need emergancy help. A++++
Sold my old gaming desktop. Friendly, honest staff who are open to haggling! Good stuff! Will return.
Computer Renessaince is the only place I trust to repair my computer. Ive always received the best service. Reasonable fees. Very professional owner and employees. Highly recommend!
Its a nice little store. They can order what you need. A little pricey but quicker than a best buy for a quick stop.
Excellent business, friendly staff!!! Check them out for your computer purchasing needs or if you need help with your current computer!! Highly recommend!!
Computer Resource is a great place. Super duper helpful staff, very thorough and friendly! I would recommend to anyone.
Mike and his team have always delivered quality hardware, and taken the time to instal our unusual software. Service is Excellent!!! I am a repeat customer and reviewing today with 5*****.
I have been a customer of Computer Renaissance in Fort Collins for several years. Mike and his team do a great job. Their experience and quick turn-around time is what keeps me coming back as a satisfied customer.
As fair, honest and supportive as a person could hope for. They go the extra mile for you. I had back to back problems with my laptop, then modem and they got things back on track. I learned more about computers and wireless technology in the process. They are the definition of good customer service and are fun people too.
Ive purchased two desktop computers and multiple video cards from here. They do installation and repairs. Ive had them repair my gaming pc and install a couple of video cards for me. Ive always been satisfied with the service, and the prices.
I was looking at building a computer, so I was looking for a case they had a new one listed for 149 dollars. When I looked it up online the same case was 69 dollars new. The staff was nice, prices werent though
Always helpful and informative. Great source for refurbished and bits, pieces, hard to find odd shaped ends
I had a laptop that my 3yr old poured bubble soap into. These guys were able to fix it with a new keyboard for a very reasonable price. I was sure I would need a whole new computer. Thanks
Great place for used, refurbished computer equipment. Large retail store. They also repair and upgrade.
Great guys theu can fix things others say theu cant
The owner Mike is extraordinarily persistent. I live in Wyoming and he made 3 trips from fort Collins to fix a hardware problem. Then said call me next week to see if all is ok. His price was as such as I didnt need to negotiate. During this stressful time he always laughed and just dug in and kept working . I highly recommend him and his gracious staff. This was my second purchase. He has all The answers. He is 100%.Steve Mumford
Computer Resource is a small business with a big heart. First customer friendly, profit second. Prices are good, service is great.
Super helpful guys I would go back!
Bought our last three computers here and we are completely happy with the products and the service. TJ was a great help.
They were fantastic and I will forever go back to them for any parts needs I have!
Heres a grest place to recycle your out dated. Computer i took my old equipment there and got a fare deal on it its located right by the ark thrift store of south college past drake
Been using these guys for 5 years.. as hobbiest with two gamer sons it is a lifesaver... they are reasonably priced and extremely knowledgable and helpful
Nice little store with friendly staff and good service. Great place to buy and sell used computers.
Very responsive and helpful. Quick turnaround time, and good pricing for high quality work.
Sweet little store with helpful staff.
I build computers for a living and I went in to see there prices on graphics cards, I was thoroughly amazed at how overpriced there GTX 960 was at $329.99. You can buy this same card at Best Buy for $219.99. Outraged.
This is a good place to buy rebuilt laptops and desktops. The staff is a bit cantankerous, but they have enough knowledge to help you out.
I have a HP laptop that kept giving me the message plugged in, not charging so I tried online help, big box help, battery testing place, all with no luck. I was referred to Computer Resource so I went there and was greeted by TJ and told him what my problem was. The first thing we thought we needed to try was check out the battery ... not an easy task because it is located deep inside the computer and it is a major chore to disassemble ... at least a dozen tiny screws and then you need to pry and pop off the top keyboard to find the battery .. it is a very delicate task to do right.Well, TJ lives and breathes customer service (it must be in his DNA) because he didnt hesitate in the least. He expertly went to work and had my battery out with true professionalism ... Im not sure many would have the courage to try this. We couldnt get the battery tested (it is a very different kind) so we were going to just order a new one, figuring that it had to be the problem (which other techs had also said). Before we did that though, just for grins, we put the battery back in to see if taking it out and putting it back in would maybe reset something or make any difference and ...WALLA, the battery began charging.TJ went through all this work with a smile and caring and didnt even charge me anything. Like I say, customer service is in his blood and I think it runs throughout this wonderful little company. If you want professional, personal service done right Computer Resource should be the first place to go to. They are the only ones I would recommend for any and all computer issues.BEST PEOPLE AND BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE.Jerry Ellmann
Went the extra mile with us to make sure that our needs were met. Will definitely go back.
Their friendly staff simply fixed my earbuds!
Mike, we have a serious problem. I will be sending you a detailed letter concluding with asking you to refund the $170 I paid TJ to set up my new computer to my wifi and to transfer all of my programs this past April. On Labor Day I learned that TJ lied to me about a number of things when an IT friend with over 20 years experience dropped in to visit me on his way through Colorado. 1) TJ told me he could not transfer my QuickBooks and that I needed to continue using an older notebook for that program. NOT TRUE. My friend legally transferred it to the Asus I bought from TJ/Computer Resources. 2) TJ told me I would have to use my USB cord to connect this notebook to my printer to print off invoices. NOT TRUE. My friend had no problems do int. 3) TJ told me he could not transfer my Rosetta Stone program from yet another notebook and the one I had traded in. NO TRUE. My friend did it and did it the way I had expected. EVERYTHING was done legally. TJ had told me he would reinstall the hard drive that he had already removed from that notebook so I could pick it up and have it for my Rosetta Stone. Yes. You are hearing me correctly. TJ told me I needed 3 computers when in fact I only needed one new one with all of my programs transferred. 4) TJ told me he had connected my new ASUS to my wifi printer. He did BUT he did not remove the former program so my wifi did not work. My friend removed the program from previous printers and then my Asus-HP Printer had no problems. 5) TJ told me he had reinstalled my hard drive. But when I tried to turn on that computer notebook it no longer worked. My friend discovered that it had not been fully installed. Once he adjusted it, the computer worked ---- minus the Rosetta Stone program that TJ had returned my computer to access! 6) My IT friend also informed me that while I had purchased the new Asus in April 2017, it had actually been assembled in 2016 and that the specs were very dated. In other words he informed me that if Id gone to Best Buy for the same money I would have had a solid state hard drive and 8 gigs? I bought a slow computer and he was very surprised that I had paid an additional $150 for what TJ told me would bring the Asus up to the caliber of a solid state hard drive. I actually returned after a few days because the computer was as slow as the one I was replacing. You said, really when I told you what TJ had told me. You had a quizzical look on your face but you did not offer to correct the situation. You told me I needed to buy a solid state if I wanted a faster computer. I do not relate to those who gave you a 5 star rating or to the BBB A+ rating. That was not my experience at all. I felt like Id fallen down the rabbit hole when I went back for help. Those who claim that the older lady yelled at them are telling the truth; that is what she did to me more than once. I kept getting passed around between staff. Mike, you suggested that you could speed it up by deleting something and I offered to stick around the strip mall since you said it could be done and ready in a hour. I went to Dickeys. No one called. After several hours I finally went back and spent another hour just trying to get my power pack returned. Ive noticed that youve commented that you want to work with unsatisfied customers, I hope that that is actually true given the number of lies Ive been told. BTW: I have stage 4 breast cancer and came to your store because you claim on your website that you give service and that is what I needed and was willing to pay for. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. I had also reviewed your BBB rating; I doubt Ill ever be able to trust the BBB again. I didnt know about this google site at the time or I would have been less gullible. Thanks to all who shared experiences that fit what I experienced..... BTW: I DID make TJ aware that I was having lots of problems. He tried to make me pay for what Id already paid for and became very rude and accused me of not knowing how to type. Diana Lee
When my computer went down Computer Resource got right on it and had it back to me, running better than ever, in under 24 hours. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Thank you tons.
Flat-Out EXCELLENT; Knowledge, Prices, New & Used, Friendly, Fair/Reasonable SERVICE & Repairs, Convenient ... which is what Mom & Pop Bricks & Mortar is All About!!! ... Why would any SANE & Sentient Person even consider a Big Box Snore ... ?
If zero stars was an option, Id use it. Terrible service and even worse prices. Been there twice, BOTH times: I was talked down to, told I was wrong and snickered at. Their prices are almost three times for what you can get elsewhere. $7 for a 3.5 to 2.5 bracket?! Get suffed.
Over a year ago I bought a lap top there (( AWESOME MACHINE )) Recently loaded AVG TUNE UP 2015 And it completely trashed my system I took my computer into DJ and he fixed it and it now runs the way it did when I bought scary fast !!!!!!!These other bad reviews are way of base these guys know there stuff. And I will always buy all my computers and computer repairs there. If you take your system anywhere else in Fort Collins its your mistake. THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME !!!!!!!! And by the way all DJ charged me was 30.00 REALLY UNBEALIVABLE.CUDOS TO COMPUTER RENISANCE
Extremely rude service and terrible first impression. I have spent hours and hours trying to fix my desktop, and as I am sure most people know, this can be a very frustrating process. I figured I put enough time into it and it was worth doing a $40 Diagnostic test. I bring the desktop in and talk to the lady and explain everything that was wrong and what i have done to try and fix it. I did also explain to her that I have tried installing different OSs from boot disks I burned. Eventually after that she told me that I could have a problem with disk. This was not directly after i mentioned installing different OSs with my boot disks, so I immediately assumed she was referring to the hard-disk, because i refer to the hard disk as the disk. I then told her if thats the case I have extra disks at home I can put in and see if the computer works with the different hard-disk. She then told me I couldnt do that. I then asked her why that wouldnt work. I told her if its the disk thats not working, why wouldnt I be able to just put a new hard drive in and test it like that. She then raised her voice and yelled at me talking to me like i am an idiot, explaining that a hard-drive cannot fix a disk. Oh youre talking about my BOOT-DISK. Do you think I would even spend my hard earned money at a place where I am disrespected like that? Its simply rude to raise your voice at someone, and quite foolish to do that to a customer. I told her its not my Boot-Disk I made, I have burned plenty at the slowest speed possible and they can get me into windows, the CPU just crashes at very random moments. I said I didnt like her tone and left.If you can imagine putting hours of time into your PC trying to get it to work, then going to a place to pay for a diagnostic test, then having some lady yell at you and talk to you like youre naive for interpreting her use of the disk as the hard-disk. I am guessing there was tension because she thought I was some young arrogant college student (she was a lot older than me) trying to question her knowledge because I asked why putting the hard drive in wouldnt fix it if its the disk thats the problem. Of course I lost it when I left and I admit I called back and had an unpleasant conversation with the guy there. Just put yourself in my shoes, after literally wasting hours trying to fix it and being disrespected and talked to like your an idiot, you would be mad too, and probably leave.I obviously would never come back and would recommend people use other PC repair places, just based on this horrible first impression. I cant gave money to people who are jerks. Just google PC repair and make some calls. These people make a living off of repairs, so they will more than likely respect their costumers (even if they actually were some arrogant college student), where as Computer Renaissance makes money off of selling PCs and some off of repairs, so its not really their priority.
I dont think my experience was a complete utter disaster, but here goes: My computer kept freezing, I ran out of ideas so I decided to do a diagnostic. 45 bucks isnt too bad......if you actually know what youre doing. Needed a new motherboard, they said, so I purchased it and installed it myself (90 bucks for an install? Honestly, that seems a bit high). Still freezing. Did my memtests, my checkdisk runs, and the paper clip test. I took out my video card just to see if that helped. I then noticed that one of the legs was broken on my heat sink. Kinda had a duh moment there, but I have a Franken-PC so I didnt know what to expect. And Ive never had a processor fail due to too much heat, so I wouldnt know this. But a technician SHOULD right?Ive been to other PC repair stores around the area, saying they have received PCs from Renaissance. I guess their technicians are kind of hit or miss, at least according to other PC repair stores.Ive talked to the older woman twice. Never got into a tiff with her, but she seems to know their pricing and how to read a label, and work a computer. The other staffer, I do not know the name, gave me better advice and service than the technician. Its a guy, short brown hair, glasses.Anyway, if youre looking for parts, they have some, but they did seem overpriced. Their technicians are hit or miss, and the store looks a bit disheveled. Im novice to this sort of stuff, fixing computers, but Im now out 150 bucks for a 20 dollar fix.
Professional and very reasonable - everyone should go here!!!!! Thank you Mike and TJ.
If you have a basic problem Im sure they can get it done. But if you need any real help forget, they have no idea what theyre talking about and their computers are way over priced for what you get.
These guys were amazing. I needed a computer capable of working with the Kinect V2 sensor — a surprisingly tricky thing, as this sensor is very finicky and doesnt work even on many machines that meet the official requirements. Computer Renaissance studied the specs with me, selected a machine that should have worked, and installed the required Windows 8.1 on it with all the latest updates. Then I took it back to my office, tried it out with the Kinect, and... it didnt work. (Microsofts fault, not theirs.)So I took it back to Computer Renaissance along with the Kinect itself, and they spent two days of hard work trying different combinations of video cards, motherboards, PCI USB 3.0 solutions, and video drivers. They finally found a combination that not only gets the job done, but saved me $170 over my original purchase, and didnt charge a dime for the hours of patient support they put into solving my problem.I havent been this impressed with a business in a very long time. If you need to buy or repair a computer, go to Computer Renaissance! Theyll take great care of you.
Well darkstar i see that I am not the only one that had a problem with them i got a video card from them and it work fine for a week had a friend come over to check out my new card and see what my games looked like now and as he was looking at it he saw that it was the same card that he took back to them for locking up his computer but it was working fine for me so oh well. two weeks later i got a all new computer for my bday and gave my old one to a friend and a week later it cought fire on him so i feel for you. becouse when i tryed to take the card back they said it was something i did well i dont see how that is since they where the ones that put it in and set it up me nore my friends mess with any of the setting at all. so i called nvida and told them the problem and they told me that that line of cards was recalled and that any body that was selling it was required to sent it back for a new one.
I called into this store to see if they carried Corsair Vengeance 8GB lowprofile RAM sticks. The older lady who answered got very impatient with me after I had read off the item I needed (from an invoice I had received, word for word) and said Well, RAM is RAM. Which I know is NOT true. She was trying to convince me there was no such thing as lowprofile RAM, instead of transferring me to someone who knows what theyre talking about. I re-read the item name, leaving lowprofile out this time as it was obviously confusing, and thats when she actually went and looked and saw that lowprofile RAM was indeed a thing.I decided to not come in, plenty of other great computer places in town with people who know more about computer parts.
My wife (a teacher) and I were in a pinch and needed a new computer, shed dropped it and crashed the hard drive. Its a bit older, so we decided to do some shopping for a new one. All we really knew was that we didnt want one of those disposable pieces of garbage. In addition, I really wanted to stay in Windows 7, since ive just gotten used to it after having an XP computer for a long time. The salesman, Mike, was helpful, and had 3 new W7 laptops in stock, theyre getting harder and harder to find nowadays. The guys there were great, they took our old computer in, confirmed the HD was unreadable, and gave me a big discount on our new system for the trade-in. We ended up in a very nice little Sony Vaio that were very happy with. Thanks Mike!
I went to the store last week to buy 4 computers and monitors. After speaking with 2 representatives we scheduled a appointment to come by my business the following day. They never showed up or called to follow up.
They have always been helpful and have rescued data on my laptop when I was worried that all was lost
My friend went in to do a trade and they didnt offer him the price they quoted on the phone, yikes....Edit: my apologies review amended.
Great service
Caution they are selling corrupt OS and will blame you for it, also i have staples lead tech verify this .
My favorite store
$20 for a used DisplayPort cable...
Perfect!
Very informative
