Appointment was very quick. Very welcoming!! Great safety protocols.. They are very friendly. Place is very clean. They explain in details and make sure you have a good understanding. My son will always go to this eye doctor. His doctor was very caring and nuturing!! Love this place!!

Myself and my kids have been patients here for 12yrs and this place has gone down hill bad. My son needs glasses and had been in this clinic about 8 times for them to make site his prescription is right, but they failed again today, i will now be taking him to another eye dr that actailly knows what they are doing. Avoid this place, unless you want to keep going back for nothing new to be done.

Jackson Eyecare has far more advanced scanners & 4 of them then showed me my eye.Eye are associates asked me for my vaccinated card and after I said NO, they assumed I wasn’t. Then handed me a balbus painting mask which began to fog my test results. I stood up left with out my mask on they harassed me again. This seriousness they demonstrated was comical as a blond secretary was consuming the dead skin beneath her nails and passing out papers to clients, I’ll respect distance but don’t climb down my medical history and bring mr into a smaller room. As for COVID I felt much safer and more valued at Jackson Eye care at the mulberry Walmart!!

I am a medical provider and had a patient with an urgent eye problem on a Saturday morning. While no one else in Fort Collins was available, this office was willing to go the extra mile and see the patient right away. It was much appreciated and I was very thankful!

Everyone was amazing! I had my two little ones with me and everyone was so patient with us. My 3 year old was being a typical 3 year old and everyone made me feel comfortable and tried to help distract her. I dont typically like taking my kids with me to any kind of appointment but they did not make me feel unwelcome.

UNETHICAL - I just had my annual eye exam at Eyecare Associates. I have been a patient of Eyecare associates for 25 years. I have also purchased my glasses there for the last 20 years (at least a dozen). I am currently on Medicaid. Medicaid doesnt provide glasses for adult patients. I cant afford the $100+ glasses that are available at Eyecare Associates, so I would like to order them online. When I asked for my complete RX including my pupil distance, my doctor told me that they dont perform that measurement. That means I cant order my glasses online. My pupil distance is somewhere in my chart as I have had so many glasses made at Eyecare Assoc over the years. I find it unethical to not provide a complete RX.

I appreciated the customer service most of all. The technician/nurse was outstanding. Both opticians on the floor guided me into selecting the frames that I agreed were perfect for me. They both explained and clarified the options available to me and it always is good to have choices. My doctors expertise, experience and recommendations made for a trustworthy experience here at Eyecare Associates in Fort Collins. Without the hype and offers and advertising out there, my final cost was quite competitive and I left a satisfied customer.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! Do not go here. The doctors obviously dont know what they are doing and write the wrong prescription not only once but twice and then will not help rectify the situation. Horrible horrible customer service. They take advantage of the elderly and low income people in the area.

Loved my first visit at Eyecare Associates. I was anxious and had so many question, Dr. Dehayes-Rice and her tech Corinna were fantastic at educating me and walking me through everything I needed. They were so sweet and friendly! Afterwards when picking out glasses, knowing I am the most indecisive person I know, I was fully prepared to drive my optician nuts. But Becky was so great! She was fun to chat with and listened so well to my needs. She handled my never ending indecision with ease! I really appreciate this team and am so glad to have found a great place for my eyecare. Dr. Lisa Schneider was on call the weekend I had a foreign object in my eye that required an emergency visit. From the time I called the answering service until the time I was in the exam chair was 42 minutes. 25 minutes of that time was due to my drive time. Dr. Schneider was thoroughgoing, professional, compassionate and gracious. And she fixed the problem. We are so fortunate to live in a country where professional services are available nearly instantaneously. Thanks, Eyecare Associates, Dr. Schneider and God bless the USA.

I tried to go to browse frames (already having a prescription) but was told they were not open for browsing due to Covid. I was told to call for an appointment and I would be shown some frames that might interest me, perhaps outside the door? I can understand The concern about Covid but when I called to make an appointment to be shown frames I was asked for a fair amount of personal information such as phone number and address. I could not understand the need for all this information, especially given the fact that I was not looking for an exam, just some frames.

I had a very red eye and was unsure of what it was, went to urgent care and it was diagnosed with pink eye, started antibiotic drops and the symptoms got worse. Went to these lovely professionals and started me on different drops and within two days my eye felt amazing! Gave me back my partial vision loss.Super awesome staff, great to work with! Very clean!!!!

Ive been having my eyes checked at Eyecare Associates for a number of years. I see Kyle Treick--he was the doctor who was available when I first needed an appointment, and hes terrific. The people here are professional, efficient, and relaxed. I just came away from an appointment where, once again, I left with a better understanding of my visual capacities and needs. My treatment here has been not only skilled but informative.

Been waiting for glasses for 3 weeks, The associates I talked to a couple time kept telling me that they would find out the information and let me know the progress but they never did. I will wait for 1 more week and if nothing happens or no news. I will cancel it. Funny thing, I ordered a pair online with 1/3 of the price has arrived within 10 days. Very dissapointed!Update: I received 2 phone calls after I wrote the review and my glasses are ready. So I think it is fair enough to bump the star higher.

Kind and friendly staff. Up to date equipment with knowledgeable professional doctors. My husband and I have been there as well as my 2 year old daughter. Will continue to go back yearly and will be bringing my 6 month old daughter once she turns 1. Highly recommend! In addition to the appointment there was a large selection of glasses and sunglasses to choose from in the optical store.

Excellent service. This office is so efficient and accommodating. They booked our whole familyappointments together. We purchased contacts and glasses for our daughter. They took the time to find the best glasses that fit her face and showed her exactly what to do with the new contacts. Dr. Treick was extremely thorough in all our exams. Highly recommend this eye practice.

Not only was the staff friendly and courteous but the doctor explain things to me to where I could understand what was going on with my eyes. Terrific frame selection found the perfect pair almost right off the bat. They really take care of you.

I could not recommend Eyecare Associates more. Sjogren’s is something I’ve struggled with and got directed here by my rheumatologist after the severe dryness caused a corneal tear which resulted in corneal erosion.Dr Schneider not only sprung into action to get me treatment I needed with Xiidra (after my insurance denied Restasis), but after my condition was unchanged the team convinced my insurance company to approve Restasis after yet another denial. If you want an ophthalmologist that values patient rights and wants you to feel well, please go to them. They are kind, efficient, quick and compassionate.

The optometry side of things is awesome - quick efficient, friendly.The optician side of things is a disaster! This is the second year in a row Ive had a poor experience here. I think it all stems from the head lady. She has absolutely no customer service skills and has no business interacting with clients. After my appointment, I wanted to look for some sporty prescription sunglasses. all the opticians were occupied, so I tried on all the available frames and then asked to have the Oakley and Maui Jim cases unlocked so I could try on those. The coordinator lady told me I had to wait until someone was assigned to assist me and they would open the case for me. So, in the meantime, I was just expected to sit and wait wasting my time, doing nothing until someone was available instead of having the option to try on all available frames so that when someone was available I would have my selections available for pricing. I waited for about 10-15 minutes before deciding my time and money could probably be better served elsewhere. Im not really sure why Eyecare Associates would continue to employ this person who clearly has no customer service skills. Interacting with this person produces such I sour taste, I will consider finding another eye doctor in the future so I dont have to deal with her.

From start to finish the experience was wonderful. As a graduate student without vision insurance I was a little apprehensive about the visit. Pricing was clearly explained and the doctor was very thorough. Picking out glasses was enjoyable and informative.

They gave me the wrong prescription for my contacts. Then it took nearly 3 weeks to get any sort of reply on whether or not I could switch for the other prescription. Apparently the doctor have me a stronger trial pack (which, if you use a stronger prescription Ive always been told can damage your eyes further) than i needed, so when they gave me a years supply of the weaker prescription it didnt seem right. They arent great with communication - I never received a single phone call from them about any of this, I had to call them every time I wanted it to be addressed. I was pretty disappointed in their lack of communication skills and lack of follow ups.

Great customer service! I had to bring my 4 yr.old son in after an eye injury and come to find out, their group was out of network for our medical portion of our insurance (the visit was not under vision, but medical insurance, d/t injury). Heather and Dawn, office manager, worked with me and got the bill reduced to only what my copay would have been had they been in network. I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond to assist with my dilemma! Our family has been going here for years and we did not want to switch practices.

I’ve been going here three years now and have nothing but positive things to say about Eyecare Associates! The online scheduling tool is super easy to use and is very convenient. I had an appointment scheduled within a few hours of selecting when I wanted to come into the office. I was having an issue with my right contact and Dr. Treick solved it in a heartbeat. Everyone here is always friendly and helpful with any questions. Choosing someone to take care of your eyes is a scary experience, but I fully trust Eyecare Associates!

Ive been seeing Dr. Eddy for the past 11 years. Hes a great eye doctor! Hes very knowledgeable and very good at communicating with me as a patient. Hes also a great guy whos very nice and personable.The rest of the staff is also friendly. Scheduling appointments is very easy and Im treated very well every time I come in.

Eyecare Associates is great. Dr Eddy has been taking care of my familys eyes for years and I always feel confident that I am getting the best possible care. I purchased a pair of glasses a few months ago and wasnt happy with them for personal reasons. I happened to mention this when I called for another reason, and they told me to bring them back. They have an awesome warranty and were very thorough in understanding what exactly I didnt like about the glasses. Tara fit me with a new frame and spent a good deal of time researching my lens to make sure that my issues were addresses. Overall, the level of care if just great! If you are looking for a new eye doctor...go see them. You wont be sorry!

While visiting back in Maryland recently I took a tumble down a steep hill and lost my glasses in the thick vines. When I called back to Eye Care Associates and talked to one of the women in Optical, she was able to check inventory, see that my frames and lens shape were in stock, and promise that a new pair would be ready for me in five days, the day after I got home. The lenses were warranted for a year so when I got home I scheduled an eye exam and will get the updated prescription I need at no additional cost. I most highly recommend Eye Care Associates!

After trying for 3 months with Americas Best (worst) to get a decent pair of glasses for work, I decided to try Eyecare Associates. Dr. Schneider spent a lot of time with me, making sure that all my needs were met. The entire office staff was very courteous and I am so grateful that I can now work all day at my desk and I no longer go home with a headache. Thank you!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Alexander for nearly 20 years. Not only is she an excellent doctor, her easy-going and approachable manner make visits with her a pleasure. I have a very strong correction and wear both glasses and contacts, and in 20 years I have never had a problem with the lenses she has prescribed. The staff are also caring and outgoing, and are helpful and provide good advice in choosing eyeglass frames and in dealing with insurance. I recommend Eyecare Associates without hesitation.

Ive been a patient with Eyecare Associates for years, and Ive never had a single complaint about the doctors, any of the front staff or nurses, or any of the optical staff. Everyone is respectful, kind, patient, and completely willing to take whatever time is necessary for me to (a) understand my insurance benefits or (b) ask questions and get answers about my eye health or (c) browse the show room floor and try on sixty new frames before I find the right one. I scheduled a eye exam and i felt that i was upgraded to another level with out my knowledge. After insurance didnt pay I was required to pay the $75 for a procedure I never agreed to. After many attempts to ask why I was being charged this nobody could give me a concrete answer. I even asked to talk to the doctor. with no response. So I was sent to collections. On a another note I was told that my insurance was not going to cover medically necessary contacts after waiting 4 weeks to find that out. They told me that I would have to pay. I went to a different doctor and I was told that my insurance does cover medically necessary contacts and got them with no charge to me. so I feel that your office is a thief for trying to charge me something that my insurance covers and charging me for something before explaining it to me.

I have been a very satisfied patient of Dr. D Alexander for a good number of years. I continue to return to Eye Care Associates even though I have moved away from Fort Collins. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Thank you so much for your continued excellent care and service.

This place was a disappointing and absolute racket. Never in my life have I had an eye doctors office force me to pay hidden fees - but this one did. After a run-of-the-mill, completely routine eye exam, I went to pay what I thought was my $40 copay, and they surprised me with a $51 additional contacts evaluation charge (simply because I said yes, I wear contacts.) I think people deserve to know that this place doesnt have an issue with surprising patients with costs that more than double an expected copay AFTER someone has their whole appointment. Fair warning! Its too late for my $51, but you can still save yours by avoiding this office.

I had an app here yesterday. This was a professional place. The doctor was really good and took her time with me. I felt comfortable with her. I recommend this place. It was busy but ran smoothly. I will go back here. Caring.. doctorThat doesnt rush you out to get a patient in every 15 mins.. like most optometrist do. I worked for one and its all about the 4 an hour rule. If you want a good experience go here. 😆 They didnt pressure you to buy glasses. I didnt need new ones.. but usually they rush you over to a optician. Wonderful service.. people.. and atmosphere. I recently visited Eyecare Associates as a new patient after having a not so pleasant experience at my last eyecare provider. My appointment went well with Dr. Schneider, but soon changed once I sat down with their Opticians. My experience with their Opticians has been very poor and is honestly making me reconsider choosing this practice. I have now been waiting more than a month to get my lenses made correctly. When I went in to have my lenses cut, they let me know there was a minor blemish in the right eye lens, which was much more than a minor blemish. They let me know they would be ordering a new one. I then noticed that the lenses were not cut correctly to match the curve of my frames. I contacted their offices and was told I could send my original lens into the lab to have the proper curve made. When I went in to get my replacement lens from the blemish, I was treated very rudely by Opticians Jared, who told me they would not be cutting my lens due to needing a third pair of lenses orders. I plan on going back in a demanding they cut my lens to fix their blemish mistake that is causing issues with light coming into the lens. As well, I can barely wear the new lenses, as there seems to be an error with how they are pulling my eyes to center, which I can only guess is due to the improper curve and cut. I came to Eyecare Associates to find a new office and from my current experiences, may be headed in and demanding a refund on my lenses and putting my original lenses back in until I can find a new office to handle things correctly. It sucks to feel like I am going to puke after having my new lenses on for a couple of hours.

I went for a yearly checkup at Eyecare Associates and was very pleased with my experience. They were very professional, and Dr. Wray was an excellent resource, with good explanations as to what the reasons behind the various checks she did, as well as good advice to make my wearing contacts more comfortable and healthier. She was also very nice, as was everyone in the office. Ill definitely be going back, and will recommend this place to others!

I have been going to Dr. Chris Eddy at Eyecare Associates for at least 15 years. He and his staff are great. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for an Eye doctor. They have excellent knowledge, wonderful customer service, and a great facility!

My kids and I have been going to Eyecare Associates for about a year. They were able to get us appointments quickly. The service was covered under our insurance (VSP), and their staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. They were even able to give us some free samples for contacts and eye drops.

I usually see Dr. Eddy as my regular optometrist and am always very impressed and thoroughly satisfied with the professionalism and level of care he gives to his patients. The promptness for which you are seen whether it be a routine check-up or simply for glasses changes is exceptional. Ive had my glasses less than a year. I can never get them clean, they are always smudged. Ive tried everything supposedly acceptable on the lenses. It sucks seeing as these are my first pair of glasses. They help alleviate headaches but flat out infuriate me since they are always streaked and smudged even after being cleaned.

Ive been going to this place for 10 years. They have one doctor I really like but the front of house is a mess. I just started ordering glasses and the customer service sales team makes you feel like your dumb and are extremely slow/disorganized.The accounting billing team is never on the same page and have asked me to pay the same bill 3 times after the third time paying the bill I made them give me the receipt. Now my 4th time I was able to show I had payed and they dont know what happened. Please get your stuff together or your going to lose a patient.

I stepped into the office without an appointment to inquire about a broken earpiece on a pair of glasses. After a very brief wait, I was greeted by a most warm and knowledgeable staff person. She offered two options....1) to make a call to see if the earpiece could be replaced and what would be the cost OR 2) make an adjustment for no charge. As I may need a new prescription in the near future, I chose #2. The technician warned me that option #2 would result in my inability to fold the glasses and store in a case. It took barely a minute and my glasses fit most comfortably. PROBLEM SOLVED! Thanks, Eyecare Associates!

Which is a great sign.I had a 50%/50% chance to correct my midline shift from a concussion. The way my brain was interpreting images was very damaged. He worked w/my occupational therapist & physical therapist. It has been years and years of hard work, & his demeanor has helped so very much through this process. Prism glasses were a huge challenge, but now after all this time I rarely have migraines, Ive graduated from prism glasses, can read well & am normal. Just an astigmatism. The prism glasses worked & corrected the way my brain, optic nerves, etc - work together.To help you out on deciding whether or not to try EyeCare Associates, its not just patients like me reviewing these doctors.Since 2001 he has worked with local brain injury recovery programs assisting those who suffer from visual consequences of brain injury.Dr. Eddy was the winner of Colorado’s Young Optometrist of the Year in 2016 & was given a national award for his work with infant eye care through the InfantSEE program.Enough said.

I needed emergency glasses as my old ones were crushed by a car and I was about to leave on vacation. I worked with the optical department, which took about 15 minutes to put temporary lenses into temporary frames and saved the day! I just got my new pair of permanent glasses and I couldnt be happier. Their customer service went above and beyond and I will recommend them to anyone.

Easy to make an appointment and staff is always friendly. Thorough exams are always performed and the doctor is prompt, knowledgeable and friendly.
