I wish I could give more than 5 stars. John made time to help me on very short notice, when his schedule was already fully booked. John is incredibly knowledgeable, and has vast experience with marine surveying. He knows the subtle tricks and tells, and what to look for in a survey. However, what really sets him apart is his generosity. John gave me information he didnt need to, just to help me make the smartest purchase I possibly could. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I look forward to more opportunities in the future to work with Suenos Azules.

You will NOT find a better, more thorough marine surveyor ANYWHERE than this. I am an engineer and he far surpassed my very high expectations. I will not use anyone else whenever possible!! Stop looking for others!!

I recently retained Capt. John Bannister, AMS to inspect a Boston Whaler Conquest. It was apparent from the very beginning that Captain Bannister was the right choice. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table and as a result a defective boat doesnt stand a chance! Thanks again for providing your time and skill to inform this buyer what was truly under the hood.Look forward to our next inspection!- DPM

I recently hired Suenos Azules to survey a trawler in Florida. S.A. came highly recommended by a friend who recently used S.A.s services and purchased a trawler. I live in Maine so, I had to completely rely on Capt. John Banister and S.A. for the initial walk-through.Shortly after S.A. completed the walk through, I received a very detailed and comprehensive report regarding the trawler I was interested in. Being a first time large boat buyer, I had much to learn and many questions. Capt. Banister could not have been more helpful and professional! He made the time to answer all my questions as well as educating me on many aspects of the process and specifics about what to look for.We traded numerous emails. Often times, when I emailed a question, he picked up the phone and called me to make sure my questions were answered completely. In the end, I did not buy this trawler. This was due to several factors, most of which were pointed out by Capt. Banister. Keep in mind he could have led me along so I would pay for him to do a full survey. This is a man, and a company, of great integrity and honesty!I highly recommend S.A. and Capt. Banister and I cant thank my friend enough for pointing me to Suenos Azules Marine Surveying!Sincerely,Jim Mac

Capt. John Banister is the most professional marine surveyor I have met in my 22 years of insurance services. When I submit a survey conducted by Suenos Azules to an insurance company for underwriting review, the response is always the same;Professional, detailed, complete and simply the best. Captain Banister thanks for providing awesome service to my clients and making my job easier with underwriting. TK Krumenacker of Admirals Insurance Corp.

I got to know John Banister during the 9 month full restoration of a 43 Well Craft San Remo. He was there to offer advice during every step of the job from the fiberglass bottom pealing to the awlgrip top coat finish. He went out of his way even moving the customers parts around between boat yards when the owner was out of the country. He also went out of his way for me the projects painter when I need help. Aside from being a nice help full guy John know his stuff and uses & understands technologys other surveyors will only try and talk you out of using. When my personal project is finished I will be giving John a call, not so he can tell me I do awesome work but to see what I missed. And for the piece of mind in knowing the job I set out to do was done correctly..Larry Lowenthal

Captain John completed a survey for me on a bass boat. The survey was done with prompt, professional service and completed with no hassles or fuss.Johns expertise and eye for detail and potential problems were a godsend as i live in Australia and could not personally inspect the vessel.John saved me from making a very costly mistake which was not evident when i saw the boat on the internet. He provided solutions to remedy the problem and costings for the repairs.I am eternally grateful that John was a complete professional and provided me with all the information i needed. I would have no hesitation in recommending John and his services to any potential customers you will recieve the most detailed report, excellent customer service and you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are dealing with an industry leader.Thankyou John.Regrds Mark
