Excellent food! Excellent service! Excellent Ambiance! Menu is seasonal to particularly high standards set by the chef. Definitely fine dining at not so expensive prices for the quality and decadent flavors presented. The desserts are spectacular, a worthy end to an outstanding dining experience! Sadly I cannot judge the pasta just the service. I called yesterday to see about ordering pasta for an event we are having tomorrow (today is Saturday). I called in the afternoon and was told I will talk to the Chef and get right back to you..I called back later in the evening and was told we just got busy, we WILL get you information soon...well it is now 7pm the next day..and guess what I am still waiting ...based on this ..having to call 2 times looking to place a good size order..I would say they dont value their customers. It is too bad ..I have heard good things about them. Maybe youll have better luck !

First time visit. Quaint restaurant with brick decor. Unfortunately it was very loud inside (minus). As for the food, all pasta is made in house (plus). Very accommodating as I had red sauce with my meal (plus). Unfortunately, my friend had bland chicken marsala, so much so that salt & pepper were needed to add some flavor (minus x2).Will I return? Yes, to try a different dish & pasta. Just not rushing to return.Oh yeah, they added tables outside which makes parking more difficult as I had to park a few blocks away (minus).

The food, amazing. The wine, delicious. The staff, the best! We stopped at Scolapasta for dinner and it did not disappoint. Everything was tasty. The chef made me a personal dinner with the octopus which was cooked perfect. We may fly from Las Vegas back to Fort Lauderdale just to eat here. We absolutely loved the food... As appetizer we ordered burrata, arugula and proccuto.... Delicious! Then penne Alla vodka, and italian meatball Pizza that was amazing! ... But what really got my husbands attention was the Chardonnay wine that was served... He does not drink wine... But he wants me to find out the brand of the wine so we can buy it. Super recommend it!

Wow, what a special restaurant. If youre in the area, I HIGHLY recommend a visit! This is a rare restaurant where you can trust that every item on the menu is made fresh - not just heated up or cooked with products you could easily buy at the store yourself. The pasta is handmade and you can tell. Each sauce is as authentic Italian as Ive ever had in the U.S., and they even have pasta making videos playing inside! We sat outside so we could enjoy the live music on a Friday night, which was sensational. The gentleman playing piano and singing with a younger man playing drums were absolutely incredible and so friendly to chat with. The bread and oil thy bring is even delicious! We asked for seconds of their fried bread, which was like a savory donut. We ordered chicken parmesan as one entree, then mushroom risotto with chicken as the second. Both were incredible. We learned from a couple near us who are regulars that the owner makes dessert shots that are a cant miss. We ordered them and wanted many, many more! It was the perfect end to a perfect dinner. Each staff member was so delightful and we cant wait to be back in town and visit again. Dont miss visiting this restaurant if you have the chance to go!

Ive been here several times now (mostly for takeout) as I live just a few blocks away, and the food is always delicious and the service is excellent. Even when Im waiting for a pick up order, so many people ask me if I need anything, it feels like an Italian family gathering.

I celebrated my birthday yesterday with friends at your restaurant and had an absolutely awesome experience. The food was amazing. The waiter Matthew gave us excellent service, and was very attentive to our table. Appreciated a table visit from the owner, allowing us to critique our visit. Highly recommend this place.

I came here while visiting Fort Lauderdale for a couple of days. Reviews were great.The service was amazing. The complimentary bread was fantastic. I got the branzino and gnocchis with pesto. The branzino was spectacular. The pasta was not that great. I grew up eating homemade pasta so I’m a bit picky.The server brought gnocchi with tomato sauce But I had ordered gnocchi with pesto sauce. When I mentioned the mistake he was nice enough to keep the gnocchi with tomato sauce and bring another portion of gnocchi with pesto sauce. In my opinion the experience deserved a 4.5 stars but I go with 5stars because of the friendly service.

Would never ever ever ever go back. Service meh. Food was soooo underwhelming. Asked for a side of pasta - was terrible, almost inedible and they charged me for an entire pasta dish ($17). Had maybe 2 bites of it. The pasta was not al dente, it was barely cooked, hard and stuck together. Shrimp undercooked, almost gray. My least favorite place I’ve been to in a longggggg time. Absolutely awful.

I have been there for few years and I still consider one of the best restaurants in FLL. The ambience and food are amazing. Last night I went there to celebrate my friend’s birthday and again We had the best time. Paul made our dinner so special. Everything that I mentioned I like he brought to the table to make us happy! Priceless. The pasta and bread unbelievable good and fresh. The owner was there and she was very pleasant as well. If you are looking for an amazing food experience...there it is the place you must go. Already planning to go next week again!

Beautiful, old world charm and ambiance. Fresh and delicious food. I was here for the weekend and ate here last night. Their octopus special app and pasta with mixed seafood was delish. I finished my meal with banana bread topped with Nutella, strawberries and cream. Everything is fresh and flavorful. I came back tonight and had pizza and it was the best pizza I’ve had since leaving NJ. It was so so good. I’ll be back tomorrow before going back hone to Sarasota. This is definitely a place I plan to visit again and again.

Things did not go well. Got a waiter who was probably either drunk or high. We asked for straws several times and it took over 20 minutes to get them. He was barely paying attention to us when we were ordering. We ordered a pizza and several pastas without meat as we had someone dining with us that was allergic to meat. We stressed upon the allergy to meat several times. Pizza came and was soggy eventhough we had requested a crispy one. After waiting for a long time for the pasta dishes to arrive, to our dismay, every one of them contained meat! We left hungry and never got an apology from the manager.

This is Felix Anthony 100% Sicilian and last night we celebrated my 68th birthday at Scolapasta. I never in my life tasted better Italian Food ever. It was better than My Grandma, My Mom and My Sisters and let me tell you they were 3 of the greatest. It is truly my new favorite Italian food place to go. I am glad that it took me 40 years to find it or I would be 100 pounds heavier. Serious folks take it from Felix The Sicilian. OMG the Broccoli Rabe was to die for.

Outstanding food and service. The pasta is perfection! Had the lasagna special which was the best restaurant version I’ve had this side of Venice. My wife had the primavera which was also excellent.

We ordered chicken cutlet Parmesan and cheesecake to go. It was off the charts amazing!! Homemade fresh pasta made to order with a great red sauce. Being from NY, I didn’t expect it to meet NY standards, but IT DID and beyond. VERY VERY GOOD. A must stop in Ft Lauderdale.

Me and my fiancée really enjoyed going to this place! We both love Italian food and found this to be very authentic and tasty. My fiancée mainly liked the fact that they were organic for the most part and that’s what has us going there often. We were disappointed on our last visit when we found out they were no longer using organic ingredients. From what I understand they only do that when it’s season and really busy.

This Bistro is amazing, I highly recommend coming here for a fun night. Service is great and the food is even better!

Great place! Everything here is delicious! We started with some freshly made bread and very flavorful oil with a little spice followed by clams casino and a stuffed portobello for apps. For the entree I had a parmigiana pork chop that was breaded and served with a tomato basil linguini and it was perfectly done. My only regret is I couldn’t finish my meal! Nice job Scolapasta!

Amazing! Where to begin?? Service was excellent and food was even better! Santo was probably the most personable, pleasant server we have had since moving to Florida 2.5 years ago. He greeted us at the door and accommodated our request to be seated outside. The owner and chef greeted us after we were sat and explained the specials for the day. I ordered an appetizer (melon, prosciutto and mozzarella with a balsamic glaze and a side of arugula followed by a seafood risotto. AMAZING!!! The wine selection was great and our overall experience was fabulous! And to boot...the prices were fare. Please give this restaurant a try.....farm fresh ingredients, hormone free meat and homemade pasta...you cant go wrong!!!

Was super excited when we arrived to a nearly empty restaurant on a Saturday night in season in Ft. L... while the atmosphere and the people were super friendly - the hour it took to receive our meat and cheese plate followed by the half order of gnocchi we finally got were more than a little discouraging for the $100 and 90 minutes wasted.Finally we took the entree to go and scurried out of there. I wish we could show you the picture of this mostly barren plastic pan that looks like Chef Boyardee. (Although tastes slightly better)Great idea, great design... less than adequate follow through.

Lack of flavor!!!!. Even the wine was so blend at $11 a glass. Never have a chiante that wasnt drinkable. Felt intimidated by the server. Tables are so tight that when the waiter has his back to me his butt is in my plate.Not because says organic is good.People awake up. We planned to go to a place across the street, but it had a line out the door. I quickly searched Google Maps for a good alternative, and saw this organic Italian restaurant almost across the street from where we were. Were we ever pleasantly surprised!We had homemade mozzarella and tomato appetizers, which was succulent sweet and delicious and then we had grilled Romaine, grilled octopus and calamari, and the Primavera pasta. All three dishes were extremely well done and prepared with loving care. Ingredients were amazing. This place does it right and will definitely be back. You cant go wrong

Went there for family dinner and had excellent food and wonderful service. My family is Italian, so I tend to avoid Italian restaurants but this place had great reviews and it did not let down. The food was light and satisfying in the way only true Italian food is. Not the heavy style most restaurants serve in the us. We thought it would be a quick meal with our toddler daughter but it lasted several glasses of wine through two desserts. Wish we lived here bc it would be a weekly staple! Def get the grilled octopus and calamari (A++) and gnocchi (So light!!!)

Service and management was awful, food was ok. I had heard good things about this place so gave it a try. The waiter sat us and then FORGOT us. We had to get up to find someone to bring us menus, and then track someone down to take our order. Our waiter was never to be found again and if it wasn’t for the other guy that noticed and came to take care of us (his name was Edgar and he was wonderful!) we would’ve sat there waiting forever? It wasn’t even packed. In retrospect, my friends and I should’ve simply gotten up and left. Food wasn’t bad, but nothing special, it was edible. Only giving a 2nd star because Edgar was extremely dedicated and kind.

A true Italian restaurant from the atmosphere to the food to the staff who came from my wife s hometown in Italy. I am picky when I go to Italian restaurants but Ive learned to just go with the flow since weve been here in Florida. Let me tell you that you dont have to give up anything here it is a great place in felt like I was visiting my Uncle Joe . I recommend this place

Scolapasta is the most authentic Italian restaurant I have experienced in Fort Lauderdale! I would recommend Scolapasta for a nicer dinner - excellent Italian wine list, range of dishes (primi + secondi piatti), many desserts to choose from, and great service+atmosphere.This is not the Italian-American restaurant you will find throughout Fort Lauderdale.

Ill try to keep this short... Everything was phenomenal. From the chef sending out some fried dough on the house as a starter, to the charcuterie board, to the grille romaine caeser... Though, my favorite part was the fresh gnocchi with a simple tomato sauce like my Nona makes. Pillowy and delicious. Didnt even have room for the pork entree once it got to the table but the few bites I did have were delicious. The service was personal, professional and great with wine suggestions.
