Had a eye doctor appointment in town and got my prescription and temporary contacts, earlier this week. Because walmart eyecare still has no eye doctor. My contacts are ordered and will arrive soon, but last night my right contact was badly scratched and damaged and so since the eye doctor in town is closed on weekends, my husband went to walmart to ask them for an emergency pair and hed even buy a box from them. They refused. Literally refused to sell us contacts and give me an emergency replacement. So now I can be blind all weekend or scratch my cornea and if that happens, I am suing Walmart eyecare in Fort Morgan. No reason why they couldnt sell us contacts with a script less than a week old. .and give us an emergency sample pair. Thats what they are for.Im calling acuvue and corporate on this Monday morning. Acuvue needs to know Walmart is hoarding their samples by not giving them to patients that order their contacts. They need to stop giving Walmart samples since they arent being used as samples.Store manager was rude and helpless as well. I will be reporting him also.Thank Goodness there are competent eyecare workers at the Brighton Walmart who do their job.Still alerting corporate as well as Acuvue to report their hoarding of samples for their paying customers. Audit this place.
One of the worst places to get glasses. I came in and the lady didn’t even know how to read my prescription and was waiting for a while. After waiting she came back to tell me she couldn’t take the prescription because it didn’t have a date on it, even though I pointed out the date was in there 3 times from my last doctor appointment. After coming back with the prescription of all the things they had said I needed, they then pointed out that I didnt have an expiration date on it, even though in Colorado the prescriptions last 1 year after the date it is given to you. I am never coming back here because they are the worst place to get glasses from. The worker had no idea what she was doing at all. Worst customer service I have ever experienced and a waste of my time. I would give 0 stars if I could.
I was in desperate need of glasses and contacts. I had a torn cornea and they worked with me getting medication appointments and making my cost reasonable enough to get everything I needed. I got two sets of new contacts for free because they were helping me with my financial situation. Later I was in an accident and it bent my glasses and they fixed them immediately! So grateful!
They have qualified eye examiners and decent pricing scales that dont make you feel taken advantage of. Id rather support the local eye doctors, and that is the Only reason why I dont go there anymore.
