I recently purchased an Alpine stereo car receiver as an update replacement for my 2005 Porsche 911. Installation is a bit complicated as a programmable wire to fiber optic converter is required. Everyone on the staff, especially James and Rick were knowledgeable and no pressure kind of guys. I highly recommend them.

Nice, honest people. No high pressure sales tactics.Went to a different place before for estimate and they were saying replace it all around $500. No mention of it may just be an antenna issue. I took my Honda Pilot in because the after market installation they did in 2012 stopped working. They told me it would cost 40+tax. They said the problem was with the mirror. The camera was fine. So I asked how much for a new mirror with the display would cost and they told me around 400 dollars after the 40 dollar was deducted. I went online and found a firm in Calif that sold the same exact model I had installed. Cost 109 with free shipping. Ordered it and installed it easily. took 30 min.Works perfectly.My advice stay away from them and go online

The Bluetooth I had them install never worked properly. Finally was able to get scheduled for them to fix it a month later & they mess up the dates. I specifically scheduled a day I dont work so I know for a fact they scheduled it wrong. The whole time the guy never apologized not once.

These folks are great. No BS. Smooth appointment scheduling and they get it done. They have a waiting room but you can always hike down to Starbucks too.I was so ticked at Toyota for cheaping out and not selling my new 2018 Tacoma with a remote like normal...I couldnt get into the passenger side of the truck for a month while I scraped up the money (a lot of other great things disappeared too but Ill save that for their review).And then I got rescued by CarTunes. The dealer was going to charge me $350 to install a keyless entry remote but at CarTunes I was out the door for $200. I was so grateful. Thank you CarTunes!!!

Awesome product selection and professional installation

Total waste of time and money not to mention the lack of courtesy!!!I made an appointment a week ago with Cartunes, dealing with James, set the time and date and discussed what I needed done.I show up to the appointment and James as well as the crew were all at lunch, They left at 1:15 with my appt. on the books for 1:30!! WTH!!!! I was told I should come back in half an hour. So I left and came back and STILL not there!! BAD BUSINESS!! They were called and notified I was there for my appt. and STILL not there until close to 3pm!One of crew members shows up and takes a look at my car which needed a LED over headlight checked and and light kit rod on bottom checked. Long story short, I had no more time to have car put on lift for rod check so rescheduled. In the meantime the crew member hooked one LED over headlight up and stated the other needed replaced. Why the hell would you leave one hooked up when the other isnt working?? And I never saw James, he never attempted to apologize for the total disregard for my appointment, nothing.I go back for rescheduled appointment, to end up sitting in a waiting room for over 2 hours, a room James walked by several times and still no acknowledgment of his blatant over sight or just plain not caring about prior appt.,no one bothered to let me know what was going on and apparently think I am stupid to think it takes over two hours to attach a self adhesive LED strip and re-connect a light bar!!! After the long wait and charging me $143, I get home to find light bar still not working!!!Never dealt with a business so disrespectful in my life!

I finally got the car I wanted, only thing missing was the sound system. I researched online and drove all over town to various shops for what to upgrade for a better sound, and shopped around for the best prices for months. James at CarTunes new the most about what size speakers would fit in my car, including the under-seat woofers. One place wanted half a day just to take my panels apart to recommend which speakers would fit. CarTunes gave me excellent recommendations without any pushy salesman pressure. And, he also had the best prices, even better than Crutchfield or other online stores. When I was hesitant on spending too much money on replacing all my speakers and adding an amp and a DSP all at once, James had no problem just doing some speakers for me to hear if that would be enough upgrade for me. After all the upgrades that had me satisfied with the sound, he was patient and didn’t mind adjusting the gains and equalizer to my liking. This guy truly knows his stuff and loves his work. Horrible service. Did not describe Bluetooth would disable radio during all cell phone use, not just phone calls. Would not return calls. Go anywhere but here. So not happy!!! $400 rip-off and horrible service.
