I called several glass companies for estimates. I needed a 47.5 inch round glass to cover a dining table. They offered to come out to measure (which we didnt need). We paid about $145. with delivery. One company quoted $340 with no delivery. We are VERY happy with the product and service. Highly recommend this company.

Customer service could be better. Both ladies were eating when I arrived and one wouldnt even look my way or even provided a greeting. Had a big project to work on and I was referred by another business location however it was a slight turn off the lack of customer service from one of the ladies. Im pretty sure the company does a good job however first impression means a lot to me and I wasnt really impressed.

This company does not understand the meaning of customer service!They were recommended by our contractor for 2 mirrors in our Master Bath and came to measure with a promise of delivery at the end of the month (2-1/2 weeks later). After not hearing from them for 2 weeks I went to their location to learn that they had not started the process as they had not heard back from either me or my contractor to confirm the order. They never called me or the contractor (he has the phone records). They then said they would produce the mirrors on an expedited basis which was 2 more weeks. When I complained, they said they would get them done quicker and would call me. Someone from their office called later that day (Thursday) and said they would deliver the mirrors in 2 weeks. I argued the delivery date, again, and they said they would have them installed on Wednesday. Wednesday came and went without a delivery or even a telephone call.Obviously, they no longer want to do business because if they continue like this, no one will contract with them. Neither I nor my contractor will be using them in the future. One star is too high!

A-Rite is great to work with.

A bit more than a year ago we had our master shower redone. Keith Johnson did an excellent tile job. A-Rite did the glass; their work was excellent also. A month or so later one of the screws that holds the door pivot-plate to the sill sheared. They came out almost immediately And replaced it. It works just fine. About a month ago the sweep began to tear. (The sweep, Ive found out, is a piece of flexible molding that runs along the bottom of the shower door. Its cross-section forms an H shape. The top verticals clamp on to the bottom of the door; the lower, more-flexible verticals hang down to the sill to keep water from running under the door and to sweep it off the sill when exiting.) I called them to find out if this was still under warranty. They said well, not really, but well fix it. The next day they replaced it. The tech said that if it happens again we should stop by the shop and theyll cut a new one, gratis. In sum: weve been extremely pleased by this experience.

What a great company!! I had fought with my insurance company 9 1/2 years ago to get me a windshield with the running horse, just like the OEM windshield. A-1 Glass was able to help me fight that fight, and get the glass I needed for my Ford Mustang. Fast Forward 9 1/2 years to today. I was able to find my receipt from my windshield purchase from 9 1/2 years ago, and called them to tell them I thought I might have a leak in my windshield after all this time. We scheduled a time this morning to have it water tested. It turns out, that it was not the windshield that was leaking, it was that my drain holes under my windshield wipers were clogged with oak leaves. They took the time to help get those unclogged, so that water was not going through my cabin filter and into the leg area of the passengers side of the car. This is not anything that was their fault, or their responsibility, but they still took the time to show me how to fix in the future, and have great service. They continue to win my loyalty. The company I work for has in excess of 87 vehicles here locally. If I have a say, they will all use A-1 Glass when they have glass issues. I was not happy with this company originally. They put is a glass shower. When taking a shower, water seeped under the door, potentially causing an injury by creating a slippery floor. They came to fix it. Didnt have the right color part on the truck. Came back four days later; right part. They worked on it and told us to let it cure. We waited the appropriate curing time but it still leaked. Looks nice, but leaks and can cause a slippery bathroom floor. Not good. When they knew that the problem still was not solved, they sent a service person back out on Tuesday (6/25) and he re-did the repair. He asked to wait 24 hours before using the shower. We gave it more than 24 hours. He did a fine job, because it now does not leak. A-Rite does care about its customers. We are pleased with the looks and functioning of their glass shower product. I would certainly recommend them.

The staff is available but not super excited about helping with options. I had some glass put in some cabinet doors and the job was poorly executed to say the least. The first time I went to pick them up, the frosted glass was scratched on one of the doors and the others were badly streaked. I thought they would clean up when I installed them but I was forced to return all four of them. The second time I picked them up I looked at two that seemed to be OK so I took them home to find out that the other two were streaked again. So I took the two back and they replaced them. When I picked them up they looked fine in the light of the show room but after getting them home I realized that one of them was still streaked. I brought it back yet again and they fixed it for good this time.Each time I went to pick up the re-dos they told my that they didnt have anything for me since there was no ticket made when I returned them. It typically took explaining my situation a few times before they listened to what I was saying as opposed to assuming what my situation was. They never actually called me for the last one. I thought that a week was too long to get the last one considering how put out I was... so I called and reminded them and they said to come and get it.On a positive note, the guy that did the actual install was super nice every time he had to re-do them. I also thought that the price would have been fair if I dint have to make 4 trips to get them done. I was also finally offered an apology after the last trip... so theres that.I cant say that I will be going back or recommending them to friends of family... but after its all said and done I love my doors.

My husband and I live in northern Pine Island and had been using Cape Coral Glass & Mirror, Inc. over the past few years.  Our last job with them had been a glass top for an odd shaped wicker end table, which they had done a splendid job with, having used our provided template.Last week we attempted to use this company once again, but were met with an impatient, brusque receptionist on the phone and a rude, flustered glass cutter at the shop. In addition, the cutter was unwilling to work with our carefully drafted template for an irregular glass table top.  He wanted us to go all the way home and painstakingly re-draft our template, then we would have to wait a couple of weeks for the $180 job to be completed.  Also, we were somehow going to have to  transport the heavy, cumbersome piece of glass ourselves, as this company does not routinely deliver.  We also needed a simple 5x6 oval glass for an antique frame, and Cape Coral Glass wanted $23 for it, unfortunately -- half what the antique frame was worth.We researched online and found A-Rite Glass on Metro Parkway in Ft. Myers. We were impressed to see they had a perfect score of 5 out of 7 reviews; our 5 makes 8!Everything at A-Rite was perfect, from the courteous, knowledgeable, organized receptionist to the MUCH lower prices (ie small oval frame was a reasonable $11, and table top was about the same price as the first shop EXCEPT DELIVERED AND SET IN PLACE, all the way to Pine Island from Metro Parkway in Ft. Myers, $127.64 job cost +$49.50 delivery cost).The two young men who installed the heavy table top were extremely courteous, competent and professional, and A-Rite used our original template without batting an eye. We dropped off our templates on Monday afternoon, and the finished jobs were delivered Wednesday, by noon time. Incredibly fast!Last but not least, we were thrilled with the final products, both the heavy glass table top, as well as the small oval glass for the antique picture frame.We couldnt be more pleased. I believe A-Rite is a family run business, and I think I heard they will come to your home to give free estimates and etchings. A-Rite is our go-to company now. Try them and see for yourself!

The Best Glass Company in Lee County, FL! I called A-Rite Glass the other day to see if they could install a replacement glass shower door for my elderly father. I spoke to Matt who was very polite and said he would check the schedule to see when they could come out and give an estimate. He told me that one of the owners would be available to come on Friday late afternoon. Matt said he would call me on Thursday to give me a 2 hr window for the appointment. I received the call from Matt with a time window of 3 to 4:30 for Friday. Mid morning on Friday Bill, one of the owners called me and said thier schedule had changed and could be here with in 1 hr if that would work and I said yes that would be great. They arrived on time and were very professional. I showed them the shower and the replacement door. They measured the shower door and frame and opened the box of the replacement door and measured it as well. Remind you they were only coming to give an estimate to replace the door but decided since the hardware was already on the replacement door they would go ahead and install it right then and there. Bill and Frank were AWESOME and went above and beyond expectations!!! When They finished the installation Bill shooked my dads hand and said that his handshake was his payment. They would not except any money from my dad. My father told him he would have paid them double thier price because of thier efficiency and professionalism. He is so happy to have his shower back to normal. Thank you, Bill, Frank and Matt! We will definitely recommend A-Rite Glass to everyone we know who is in need of any Glass or mirror work.
