Superior Pools of SWFL just built us a pool and spa. It was, by far, one of the best experiences we’ve had. They were not the cheapest but you certainly get what you pay for. They were professional, their crews were neat, knowledgeable in their craft and kind. With all the Covid, contributing delays the longest we waited was maybe a week longer for travertine decking. Otherwise, the pool was completed in a timely fashion and communication between me and Superior was wonderful. I have a beautiful, resort-like backyard as my friends and family like to call it. I’ll add some pix so you all can see for yourselves.

I contacted several pool builders in my area just yesterday. One called me today to setup an appointment and to ask if I had any questions. Superior pools however, sent me an email just now and this is what it read:Thank you for contacting Superior Pools. Our pool packages start in the mid $70,000.00 and pool/spa starting in the mid $80,000.00. You can contact the number below or reply to this email to set up a time to come in to meet at our showroom to discuss the design and look at materials. I look forward to hearing from you. Have a great day.Clearly they dont want my business and will simply not be bothered to even give me a phone call. Home owners beware of whom you are getting in business with!

This is hands down the best pool company in all of SW Florida. If you’ve been through the process of getting quotes for a pool, do yourself a favor and visit their office before making a decision. They have great YouTube channel that documents many of their pools that were built. It was very helpful when doing research.Superior Pools went above and beyond our expectations of what a pool builder should do, from beginning to end. They (Michael) designed the pool of our dreams. A few short months later it was a reality in our back yard. The process was smooth and there were no hiccups along the way. Any questions we had were addressed quickly and resolved immediately. The level of communication from Michael was superb. Every Friday we received an update of what was happening.The quality of pool equipment is top notch. Superior does not offer “cheap” products, only quality. We are thankful our neighbors recommended them to us, and we are now doing the same.

The overall experience was excellent. We picked the tile, decking and pool colors when we were in town but most of the project was done when we were in NJ. Not a single issue with Superior Pools. The process was almost too easy. After about 4 months we had a minor issue with the pool filter that was promptly taken care of. Their customer service is second to none. If I ever need to build another pool I would use Superior Pools again.

Have called several times to have new pool installed each time said they would have someone call. They took down my info and have never received a call back. If you don’t want my business just tell me upfront.

Apparently doesnt want your business. Many chances given over a 1 year period . No call backs. Ghosted!

We would give Superior Pools more than a 5 star rating if possible. Our pool turned out beautiful! They kept us informed throughout the entire process. We received weekly updates letting us know what took place that week and what to expect the next week. Any time we had a question, they have responded immediately.

4 years in, I would not recommend.They ran from the warranty, my pool pump and cleaning system has never worked properly and my deck pavers sank because they didn’t remove one of the sprinklers underneath or prepare the are properly as most of my pavers have now sunk...Basically it’s an avg pool, I would have gone a different route knowing the support and end result...

I came to Superior after meeting with three other pool companies. I was already fairly committed to a specific design. Spencer at Superior looked at the design and had some great ideas that no one else had suggested. I had a lot of non-standard features (stonework, grotto, specialized equipment--UV+ozone and salt). The pool was completed on schedule and as planned. The final product far exceeded my expectations (even from the drawings). Superior runs a very professional operation and has some very talented people. This is the company for any custom pool.

I enjoyed my experience with Superior Pools, the construction process was fun to watch. They are very quick to respond to any issues or questions that I have had. I believe it was worth going with this company knowing of their reputation and quality of their construction. The design that Spencer came up with was perfect. I can highly recommend this company, especially if you do not want to have problems afterwards. If I had any questions, Mike was very quick to respond! 😉 Friends give many compliments on the appearance of the pool.

Our pool was just completed on time and no surprises other than the stellar final project. The entire team from beginning to end is superb. Many of our neighbors used other companies with issues and complaints. I know of two other pools in my neighborhood that used Superior and we are all very happy with the folks at Superior and the final project. Michael Sowerby’s ability to develop a custom pool in your space and your budget is incredible. Michael is truly a talented designer. From the staff in the office, supervision and construction crew, they are well coordinated and weekly communication is fantastic. Highly recommend this company - This is our second pool install and Superior really lives up to their name in every way, from meeting deadlines, to the quality of the finished products. We had only a few minor issues, and when we brought them to their attention they were resolved within 24 hours, sometimes even faster. I would use them again if we ever move again.

Our 3 most important criteria for getting our perfect pool were design, quality, and follow-up. As for design, Michael listened to our general requests and came through with a beautiful design that fit everything in to our somewhat compact space. As an experienced pool design expert, he brought many ideas to the table that helped us get a truly impressive pool. As for quality and follow-up, we have been swimming for 2 months and are thoroughly happy with the pool and the team at Superior Pools. We highly recommend them.

I live in Golden Gate estates near The Vineyards. I called this company to set up a meeting to get a design and price on building a pool. They got back to me and said we dont service your area. Seems like they only do business in select areas of SW Florida and dont want my business. So be it. You lose.

We love the pool and wouldnt change a thing. The pool priced out a little higher than other contractors on the cape but it was well worth it, there were no unexpected costs. All contractors including the Electricians, plumbers, pavers and concrete work was accomplished by high quality people who are very skilled at what they do. The planning and design to meet our needs was easy and actually fun. We made many changes to our original plans which was handled positively by Superiors Reps. We got what we wanted

The whole Superior Pools Team from Start to finish were wonderful. Always on time and showed up when they said they would. We are first time pool owners and knew very little about them except we really wanted one! Fortunately a friend’s neighbor recommended Superior Pools. We worked with Michael, who was amazing..he was so patient and knowledgeable...he educated us, guided us through all our selections,( lots of great options on materials, features, electronics etc) and was always available throughout the entire installation. We have our dream pool! Michael’s recommendations were superb...he could “see” things that we couldn’t and we say often..” wow, thank goodness Michael suggested that..it is perfect!” The workmanship is outstanding and the pool and entire project has significantly exceeded our expectations!

Presently my family has enjoyed our pool for a about a year. We are quite satisfied with the quality of work and the design. I did extensive research to limit the options for a pool company to hire to construct our pool. The old saying you get what you paid for definitely applies here. Slightly more expensive than other quotes, however options from other companies are standards for a Superior pool. Had two minor issues with filter system so far and Superior addressed and corrected in a timely manner. Definitely recommend Superior Pools for your future pool.Following up on my original post: This company responded very quickly when an electronic component failed (possibly struck by lighting). My pool filter was down and Mike and his team made repairs within 24 hours. They also assisted in restoring my pool water chemical levels.Experience so far: Great Company!!

We absolutely love our Superior custom saltwater pool!!! It is honestly breathtaking and we couldn’t be more thrilled with it!! Could not ask for a more professional contractor to work with. Would recommend without hesitation. They stayed within the original bid except for having to remove a large boulder-sized rock for the excavation area, They called us to explain the situation and got our approval before continuing. The follow-up has been exceptional as well.

WOW! That is the first word anyone who sees our custom pool says!! We wanted something different, a pool/hot tub combo with an infinity edge and a sun shelf. When speaking with Michael, the designer, he said they had never done one but was happy to comply. What we got far exceeded any expectations we had. We were guided thru the design process and timeline by Michael, met with outside vendors based on Superiors recommendations and could not be happier. We were kept apprised b=via a weekly email during construction and we TRULY had a SUPERIOR experience.

I called to set up an meeting to design and get a quote for a new pool. Micheal Sowerby appeared rude from the moment he got on the phone. Sounded like he couldnt be bothered. When I asked to make an appointment to help design and install a pool, he quickly starting rambling off details about me driving to the main office (over 13 miles away) and bringing papers and plans and who knows what else he was asking for...so I stopped him and said first of all, Im too busy to be traveling to your office 13 miles away, he stopped me quickly and said ok, well take care. where I replied really... thats it, thats how you treat people? He then told me that well if youre too busy to come to our office than we dont want to work with you. Wow!! That is horrible customer service. Besides the fact that I had no idea what he was asking me to bring. The other companies I called all offered to come to my home and look at our property and then give us a 3D view of our home with the design we choose. Too bad you lost a cash paying customer.

Superior Pools built a pool for us that my wife and I designed. Construction began late in October, 2016, and was completed ahead of schedule. Michael Sowerby helped us put our ideas into the design, and returned EVERY call we made to him within the hour of those calls. He responded to texts after hours and on weekends. Big Mike (title & last name unknown, but an important man @ Superior Pools) visited our construction everyday that work was performed. He answered EVERY question/concern we had, and patiently waited as our education proceeded, making certain we understood what he was expalining. He made sure every detail, including neatness & safety around the construction site, got the attention required. Logan (title & last name also unknown) had the task of making sure the completed pool, filter & solar heating system were performing perfectly. He dropped by twice a week for the first month to make sure everything was as it should be, and also arranged our service with Uliani Pool Services, who we are 100% satisfied with. Our pool has been admired by EVERYONE that has looked at it. We could not be more satisfied.

I am currently working with Michael from superior to design and install my new pool by summer.I have to say, that while the prices they quote right off the bat are absolutely higher than those other companies that are building Contractor grade pools the quality, materials and worksmanship are far, well, Superior!For example, Pebbletech finish, standard, upgraded equipment? No upgrade fee, because for them its standard.Heck, I have Champagne taste but a beer budget and I am used to seeing something I like as a feature and then finding out what the upcharge is.So when I saw this amazing tile for the waterline that was just too darn beautiful to not select I asked Michael, How much extra for this?No upcharge was Mikes reply. That was a shocker, as the stuff I like ALWAYS ends up being more expensive and I end up forgoing it.That was such a shocker.Their pool design skills are simply wonderful as well, I went in with a design concept in my head, drew it down on paper and then a couple days later I had a 3D rendering of what the yard would look like.It looked good, but there were some things that I felt could probably be tweaked a bit to make it more functional and maximize my usable space.WIthout complaint Mike went and did an entirely new design based on my original, and then when I pointed out what I liked and didnt like about that he came up with an entirely new one that incorporated everything I wanted but made it look and flow so much better!When the pool and Lanai are completed and update my review accordingly if necessary but I find it doubtful that I will have any complaint based on both my experiences, their reviews from other buyers as well as the level of happiness with the after the sale service a couple of my clients have reported that also went with Superior Pools.So while they may be more expensive, I find my philosophy of, Buy Once, Cry once. to be the way to go. I will pay a little more now but have the piece of mind of knowing that any future concerns or problems will be addressed by a professionals who take their customer service truly to the next level, something lacking in far too many of their competitors.Dont go mundane, go Superior!
