Love this place! They are very under staffed but they do their very best to do their jobs. They’re super friendly, they greet you when you enter their department and are very helpful even if they have to walk across the store to find what you’re looking for. I do hope the owners take note and do what they can to retain these people. Wages, benefits and more flexibility with schedules would help reduce the tremendous turnover.

Shopped here for the first ever visit in Ft. Oglethorpe. Found everything we needed. It was clean and neat. Well stocked. Friendly staff. Courteous fellow patrons using social distancing for the most part and masks. Was glad to find it and will return if in the area.

As far as selection, most prices, and cleanliness are concerned, this is by far the best Food City I’ve ever been to. I only have two minor issues and they’re things Food City may not be able to help. The first is that they’ve put their amazing selection in a slightly smaller store footprint, so some of the aisles seem a touch narrow. The parking lot is very difficult to get out of I always go out the back and drive until I get to a light on the Parkway. The prime meat chest is expensive (but what’d you expect) but the meat is so, so good. Worth a splurge every now and again.

Its an older Food City so not much space versus the Food City on Ringgold Road in Ringgold. It is a convenient location for Fort Oglethorpe. Self Checkout machines dont operate until 8am.

I’m someone who would rather shop later…. So I have less people in one spot. As well I have my service Dog Daytona who normally goes with me and her puppies who is in training…. So the less people the better…. The workers are always great! They smile and say hello Daytona, Yoshimura, and go about there cleaning for the night. They used to only have the regular register opened… I hated that. Always waiting in line for ten min even if only two people in front… now they leave the self check out open! Thank you! I would much rather be able to scan and bag my stuff on my own and have my space . So I appreciate that a ton! Thank you guys for being open until 11! That is the best thing when you have a sweet tooth and no one else is open; unless you want to drive 25 min away! So thank you again

I really love shopping at food City everything is always in place and they have got lots of it in stock I would recommend this grocery store to everybody 😀👍❤️

Nice people. On my way home so I go there but you have to watch what you buy. They are priced higher than other stores on a lot of items. The Friday sales are usually the best thing they have.

I always get my groceries here. They are one of the few places that still have real cashiers.

Greta place. Good prices and good staff. You can usually get good deals on your meats too. Thats always nice.

The cashier lady who rang me up she is very good! Iij am giving her 5 star but the lady who tend the Express lane I asked her where I can get the plastic spoon they ignored me I was going to eat it in my car cause I am very hungry!but I have no spoon! I have to go home instead.

In and out for a few items. Crowded with long lines but the self checkout is always supported with staff who dont have to call a manager for problems. Still a friendly neighborhood grocery store.

It is packed with plenty of food and supplies its a very clean place and the staff is very nice and knowledgeable about all the items in the store

Clean and well organized. Im in and out of there with the self checkout line. Also they have a great variety of anything you can imagine. Steaks and other meats are cut and weighed to your choice, a bakery thats delicious, and they even have a salad bar

I couldnt believe it, I ran in for gallon of ice cream nothing was under $4!!!!! Even their own brand. I walked out and stopped at Food Lion got their brand for $175. it was on sale who cares its as good as any brand. Food City is to high. Sorry

I was so happy while grocery tripping today; they had my FAVORITE cheese in the case!! Sartori Bellavatano Merlot...awesome with a nice, double pour of Woodford Reserve, a piece of crusty bread and some olives to wrap up a productive week. They also make a Tennessee Whiskey that is pretty good also. Cheers!

Dont shop there that often, but its nice store bought some house plants and there where on sale, so I was super happy about that 😊

This store is super clean and the customer service people are awesome. The store is always well stocked. Their cakes and deli items are always fresh and delicious.

When I was a kid it was Red Food then it became a Bi-Lo and now Food City. Reflecting back to my early days its really grown fast so fast the locals seem to be a playing catch up. Change is always a good thing but not so much at once

I didnt realize that Food City had a salad bar until a co-worker brought back this amazing looking salad and mentioned that they have TACO SALAD ITEMS!! The teriyaki mushrooms are BOMB! This is one of my favorite places to grab a healthy lunch!

It would Not Surprise Me a Bit if The Ideas for Their Special Put Together Ideas- Examples- Texas BBQ-Tumbler- and Double Stuffed Potato Sides - Are the Ones That Set the Standard For the Other Stores!! Everything is Fresh- Everything is New!! You might even CATCH A NEW IDEA- I WAS FROM NICKAJACK AREA- OVER FOR AN APPT- AND SO GLAD I DROPPED IN! I WILL GO BACK!!

Clean. Produce section is an odd layout @ this & Fairview location off Mission Ridge. Carry a decent selection of items & brands. 1st time in this store. Easy access off Patterson & Cross from rear & Battlefield Pkwy close to 27A. Always friendly clerks.

They have some good deals a great deli and some times the smoked meat guy comes with all kinds of delicious smoked meats

This location continues to get better as they go I will return again but they do need to watch the timing on their hot food bar food has been sitting there a little too long under those heat lamps they need to make sure that theyre equal sure ready but I share return to the store I do know its work in progress.

Fresh fruits and veggies here never fail but, its the meat. You can get what ever cut to what ever thickness. Some days you just gotta have a 2 ribeye. I know a little pigish but, if thats what you want you can get it here. They sell faygo soda as well. Rock & rye and red pop is the more popular flavors, but these soda are cheaper than coke/pepsi. And when you put ice cream with it... mmm thats good stuff right there. Prices overall are competitive with wally world, store is so much cleaner looking.

Refuse to use self check out. Shopped there for years but they went too far with mostly self check out. BAD idea.

Lauren in The Bakery-Deli was outstanding with the sheet cake she prepared for my Mothers Birthday celebration. Her artistry and creative ability she demonstrated on the cake was Amazing. The cake was beautiful and also moist,.. and the icing was Delicious and the Best around. Thank you again Lauren. 💜

I love there sales that they have. The Friday sales are really good. My son eats the Jello vanilla pudding ( cold stuff) and they are only ones that sales it.

I’ve always thought this was a nice grocery store, but lately with Covid 19 this is my favorite store in the area.I’m am very impressed with the precautions they are taking and they are doing it in a way that causes no inconvenience to the shoppers. Just organized, clean, common sense.Other stores in the area should take note.

I Thought I asked him for Sirloins to be cut up in a 1 inch thick for each steak and 4 to aPack.. there was a Misunderstanding between one of us and we got the wrong Steaks .. He apologized ... He said he would be more than happy to go and cut More for us and he did so without a question... He was Awesome and we wanted him to know that we appreciate his Help and being so Courteous ... This store outranks the other 2 Food Citys that are in my area. The entrance is beautiful with decor and it always smells heavenly with baked goods. This store is very well stocked and CLEAN! It should be voted best of the best!
