Worst experience of my life, dishonest, used the old bait and switch technique, gave me a price of $6,855.00 came out paying over $12,680.00 installed shifting cables and throttle box, shifting just as hard as before it was replaced!!! Called after first time out with the boat and it was not shifting properly! They said that it was fine and I should just use the boat, after weeks of calling Barbara said that they would offer a refund, and asked for my address! Well the refund never came!! Other things that were incorrect like my bait well pumps, he installed 2 pumps with all new switches, but when you put on one bait well pump they both go on !! Bad, bad !! I finally had to take my boat to Boat’s N Motors to get the correct cables installed, and they said that the cables that they removed were 6’ too long and caused it to bind under a load!! Filled a complaint with the BBB but Off Shore Performance did not respond!! Now I have to take them to Small Business Court!! Very Very bad mechanic!!

I am extremely impressed on the full Garmin install and custom work done to my helm. Exceeded every expectation. Beautiful work, wonderful to work with, right on time and fair price. Will be back with any future needs.

My son and I had started a father/son project to rewire his 17 Mitzi Skiff. We got as far as tear out and buying a few things for it when he was suddenly and expectedly was diagnosed with (GBM) brain cancer at 18yrs old a few months after high school graduation. So after brain surgery, radiation, chemo, many doctors and hospital visits we decided it was best for us to have someone else finish the boat. It was my dream as a father/son project being crushed or so I thought. We stopped by OFFSHORE PERFORMANCE MARINE to inquire about fixing Kyles boat. They immediately made us feel at home. We told them we were on the tightest of budgets and they said they could make things work for us, to just drop the boat off. We did, nervously worried about the final bill as we had no solid answer to a price, only a round about and we will see what we can do to help. Let me tell you they rewired the entire boat bow to stern! Installed running lights, gunnel lights, bilge, bait well pump, stereo, speakers, batteries, different fuel cell with new seat over it, new switch panel, fiberglass and gel coat work also ran new shifter and throttle cables. They invited us to come by and take a look at it while work was in progress which brought smiles to Kyles face. When they were finished and we came to do a walk around and pick it up Kyles dream and our vision had been surpassed!! OFFSHORE PERFORMANCE MARINE had done a great job. While work was in progress they had a few people who had donated some items to the boat which we cannot thank enough. They are truly a great local business as well as down to earth people. When it came time to pay with knots in my stomach about our finances they said we took care of it for Kyle.They donated all of the labor and many many parts to Kyles boat. As a father it made my eyes watery. We are so grateful for all they have done. So in closing I would highly recommend OFFSHORE PERFORMANCE MARINE not only for the first class work they did on my sons boat but for another reason as Russ personally walked us through over a half a dozen other projects from starting point to finished and I could clearly see his high class work in many forms before we decided to let them work on the Mitzi Skiff.
