We would not go anywhere else. Quality work and reasonable prices. We felt confident our 2007 VW Beetle was in good hands to fix a variety of issues as well as perform routine transmission flush/refill, change oil/rotate tires, etc. They were also able to recommend a local upholsterer who could also take care of our convertible top!

This place is a rip off I suggest you go to hectors on north side the bill was going to be 1600.00 at Dr Underwood s 600 at hectors auto.no kidding. Wow

I brought my car in for a power steering pump replacement they rebuilt it instead when I drove it afterwards my transmission linkage was making noise I wont go back!

My fiance and I needed some last minute work done on her car before going on a road trip. After searching around for a while we were directed to Dr. Underhood. The folks here did fixed her car and did it cheaper and quicker than any other place quoted.

I will just tell you exactly what happen and you can judge for yourself. Be patient because this is a long review. My 2014 Silverado started having transmission problems Thanks giving day. It was noticeably slipping gears and there was a vibration. I called them that next week Monday morning. They Said I could bring it in Tuesday morning at 8am. I dropped it off at 8. I called that afternoon to ask the status and the mechanic said, Oh we havent got to it yet. Ill send a tech to drive it and see if it does what you are saying it does. Ill call you when we know something. He didnt call. Wed afternoon I again called to ask the status. The mechanic said, We drove it yesterday and could not get it to replicate what you said it was doing, we will try again this eavning. Again, I never heard back. Thursday afternoon I called again and was told the same thing. I told them I was picking up the truck. When I drove out of their parking lot, the truck immediatly started acting up ( transmission slipping and a vibration) very noticeable. I took the truck to Philpots shop in Greenwood, he immediately hooked it to a computer and drove it. He told me yep it is your torque converter. We cant get it in until next week Tuesday and will have it done Thursday afternoon. Thats exactly what they did. I have driven it 250 miles and no problems. I think Dr Underhood was behind from the holiday break. But instead of just telling me that, they wasted a whole week of my time trying to get caught up to it and never did.

Amazing place to get you car fix. An great customer service.

They had my car for four days. We told them what part we thought needed replaced but they wouldnt do it unless they were positive... So they test drove my car for three days. Finally decide we were right about the part and tell us itll be ready for pick up day four. Go to pick it up and they say new part broke and they cant find a replacement anywhere so they just put the broken piece back on. No car for almost a week and Its still broken. At least they didnt charge us. Got my car back on Empty, though. Wont go back.

I have a 95 Chevy I had a whole braking system put in not at doc UnderHood all I needed them to do is to bleed breaks which already had fluid in them. I also needed a bolt screwed in thats all. I know how to bleed the breaks but just could not get the air out of the break line. They charged my 75 dollars for that and they have a break job advertised for 99 dollars. So I guess on that 99 dollar brake job 80 percent of that is bleeding the breaks and the other 20 is labor and parts. They stuck it to me watch out for pricing. And thin he tells me he cant do it for free. Wow like I took it over their to get free work done. Come on man if anyone knows me they know I dont expect anything free because nothing is free in this world.

I would give no stars if I could! Always get a second opinion if you go to Dr Underhood first they lie and change a lot more then service cost! Up charged me a extra $150 I’m glad I got a second opinion ended up paying way less for the same thing they where gonna do! And FYI there sitting are is Disgusting they have cats and dogs running around everywhere and Animal hair all over everything! Just really unsanitary

Went on to fix my power seat. I wish it was still broken than giving it to them. I received back a seat misaligned with a salvage piece of molding as they broke the original, salvage piece was also broken.
