My favorite thrift store in the area! 😃 We have found some pretty great things here. In fact, we drive from Niceville to visit this location almost weekly, and I dont recall ever leaving empty-handed. The staff is ALWAYS so friendly, and hardworking, and truthfully the main reason why we will keep coming back. They are doing a fantastic job 👍👍

Love the mission behind the store. Prices are affordable. Lots of stuff to look at. Friendly cashiers. Store is organized and has signs throughout with what sale is going on.

Some things are priced good others are very overpriced… furniture being one of them. Also they say they’re open until 6… I’m here on a Saturday at 5:20 and they’re closed. I guess hours vary.

Use to love going to this place. Havent been in awhile. Went today and their prices have shot up so much could buy most the stuff same price new or cheaper on Facebook market place. Staff isnt friendly and welcoming like they used to be. Will be going to the other thrift stores in the area from now on as they are still decently priced.

This thrift store, like all thrift stores, is very hit and miss. Lately there just hasn’t been anything in here worth taking home. They have a lot of clothes, if you’re into that. In kids toys, there’s a lot of random pieces to things all over the place, but some things are broken or missing pieces and they’re still over priced. A few things I’ve seen are priced higher there, used, than they cost brand new in a retail store. We use to get a lot of books here, but they started storing them in bins where you have to dig through and people just get rough and tear the books apart handling them, so books are few and far between too. I’ve just seen an increase in thrift store prices, not just here, but at a lot of thrift stores lately and it makes it not as fun to shop them if you’re not getting bargains. Example. A milk glass vase here was priced $8.99 today. It was super generic and common. The same vase isn’t even that expensive on Etsy.

Hadnt stopped by in a while, so while in area decided to see what was available. Browsed around and spotted a newer version Kenmore machine.(at least 8 years old) was very surprised it was priced at $129. Usually on FB Market Place you can find used newer Kenmores for $50-$75. Did purchase a pair of nice, clean jeans, rounded up purchase and paid. Am very surprised at prices on many items being they are mainly donated. The Mission has gone up in pricing in the past year or two bit by bit.

Major score this week. Picked this up on Tuesday for only $5.99. Also got a very nice couch there. Will definitely be back to get more items for the new place

I am delighted they are open again. They are taking appropriate safety measures for their customers. The store is stocked pretty well and well organized. I also feel really good about spending my money here, because the money stays local and funds their ministry.

My 16 year old loves thrift shopping. We always find good deals at WFM. One beef I have though is that their prices have become a bit higher than necessary on a lot of items over the past couple years. I understand that they fund homeless projects and support needy families in the area so we dont mind supporting them but sometimes I check the price of an item then walk away shaking my head because I know the item was donated to the mission free of charge. Management should note that a majority of their customers are probably those same needy families they are trying to support, and for example, they wouldnt be able to afford a sewing box that today had a price of $112!!! Sheesh!!!

Went in today to look for some items, way too high for used stuff. A old treadmill, they wanted $100.00. some other electronic items, few extra dollars I can buy new. They get free stuff. Why charge so much? You need to fix the pricing that is fair before everyone goes elsewhere.

Nice stuff, friendly staff, but a bit pricey. Their rewards points can save you a couple dollars though! 😁

The changes made recently appear to indicate that Waterfront Rescue Mission Thrift Stores are moving in a more for profit direction. According to the TV commercial that has run several times on differing channels and times, the stores are now known as, Waterfront Thrift Stores.*****END EDIT*****Used to be the best thrift store around. Huge selection of second hand items at very reasonable prices all for a good cause. Unfortunately, times have changed...... The quality of the items has gone WAY DOWN and the prices have skyrocketed, with a few prices exceeding the original retail price. Its still worth looking around but there are several other thrift stores around Ft Walton Beach. Some of them with better quality products at more reasonable prices.

Seriously some of the best selections of used goods and they just went through a design change that really boosts the shopping experience. Associates are nice but usually pretty reserved. This place has been here for as long as I can remember and I hope it stays that way.

One of my favorite thrift shops in the area. Always has a big selection of items. Store is organized and clean. Lighting is good. Store is big. Theres always a lot of people in the store but because of the size it is not crowded. There is hardly any wait time at checkout. Lines have a good steady flow at checkout.

Such a nice staff and a wonderful collection of items! You just cant beat the prices!

Couldnt believe how huge this place was! There were some great finds, and the prices were decent for what you were getting. There was a huge variety of furniture, clothes, and household wares, with plenty of items being brand new. Definitely worth stopping at!

A good place to find something that you want.But the price is not cheap, over priced for the used stuff.I bought few books because it was on sale today.

We have found great items here from clothes, shoes, toys, to furniture. All in great working condition! I was able to purchase a 4 drawer filing cabinet, it had an issue but I was able to get a lower price than the other ones they had because it wasnt it the same condition. Sales arent bad here either. We have found decent holiday items as well.

While the prices are good, there are too many things here that arent just a little old, they are used to a condition of poor quality. It may be great if you want really good prices, but the used furniture just isnt the kind of quality you really want in your home.

I usually always have a pleasant experience donating stuff but today was just terrible. The drop off time was until 1630 an I arrived with a pickup bed load of stuff an one of the individuals working comes outside an just says were not taking anymore donations an just walks back inside....not Im sorry sir we are backed up or dont have the room to take your goods today. Please come back tomorrow. But nope....customer service was veryyyyyy rude in my opinion....positive note a guy in parking lot asked if my vacuum cleaner worked an so he got a free vacuum lol

Great little place. Not only is it a theft store with a wide selection with good pricing, but they also sell new furniture from Ashley.

Waaaay over priced for a thrift store. Please remember, all your items are donated. Not dipped in gold.Add: They used to have really big .69 sales very often. In which they would put items in back area to load up on. (I used to frequent this sale and provide clothing, blankets ect to people in need, out of my pocket thru my employment) since management change ( i was told) they 1st, do not go out of their way to put items in 1 location.. They do not mark their shoes w color tags any longer ( so no .69 sale) and the week leading up to their sale theythey put the color on 50% off.When the sale does start, there is rarely any finds. I can buy clothing at walmart for less than the shirts cost there. Then again, most thrift stores in the area are over priced for the junk they are selling. At least clean stuff off or something.There is a couple staff that are ok, that being said.. Most are terrible and act like its a trouble to assist w anything. Last...one more stand in line for 30 min to ck out, ill be done with the store. Not to mention, the last 3 times ive been asked to round up my sale to donate.. When i reply no thank you.. Now they dont have the change in the register.Terrible.

Very large store. Lots of product, including new furniture/mattresses. Some prices are great, others not so much. Clothing items are individually priced, based upon brand/condition. Constant clearance section for clothes to help rotate out old stock.

Fun fun, my grandaughter and I call it treasure hunt! Never know what you will find and always a deal!

AVOID THIS PLACE unless you dont mind paying new prices for junk. The manager is ridiculous. 5 dollars for a tiny piece of wood that said pumpkins or rusted cake pans. Free for them and retail for the customer.... should be closed down. Not even helping local homeless.
