I highly recommend this place! Before I found fox and fox I put over 1800 dollars in my Jeep to fix the front end from shaking, and every time it wasn’t fixed! I was about to give up until my dad said take it to Fox and Fox, I was hesitant just becouse I already put so much money into it from other places! Fox and Fox was my last hope before I was gonna get rid of it! I was amazed, Fox &Fox were the ones that fixed my Jeep! I only wish I would have taken it there first! It would have saved me a lot of money! So if your having problems with your vehicle or Jeep, TAKE IT TO FOX & FOX They will get it right the first time!! I also had them put an engine in my Jeep, they did a great job!!

I was visiting from out of town and this place was recommended to me for lunch. I had a Reuben sandwich and onion rings and they were both great! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Dont know when Ill be back to Galva, but when and of I am, Ill definitely be back.

Typically, I try not to rate things five stars because I always find perfect ratings suspicious, but these guys deserve it. I went in there rat 7:30 am to get my headlights restored and not only did they drop me back at my place AND pick me up when they were done, they didnt charge me for it.On top of that, everyone was incredibly nice, Cory recommended food places to check out, and I ended up paying less than quoted. These people earned their stars. Before and after pictures for proof of excellent service.

From the moment I walked in the team was friendly, laughing, joking and overall just a very fun group! They really evaluated the options and gave me various cost options on the level of correction I wanted from making my door functional to completing with a paint job. I felt they were honest and treated me fairly and went above and beyond to clean out my entire car when they returned it and even washed my car and shined my rims. Really satisfied with the service here and I dont think I have ever rated a service place before so great job everyone!

2 weeks before Christmas, my transmission unexpectedly went out. The crew at Fox and Fox immediately jumped on taking care of the issue as efficiently as possible. They were extremely professional and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. Not only did they come in under the very reasonable quote they gave me, they dropped my car off at the location I requested to make it easy for me to pick up. I truly appreciate how honest and understanding they were with my situation and my questions. Ill never take my car anywhere else for repairs or regular maintenance!

These are by far the best mechanics Ive had work on my vehicles. I get accurate, no nonsense diagnosis from the folks in the shop and customer service folks who know what theyre talking about and can relay the information to me clearly.

The typical story of giving you an estimate, and then once your vehicle is in and being worked on, they suddenly find issues.. thus, driving up your bill. If you cant do the work for the estimated price, hire a new estimator thatll actually get it right.

Very unprofessional to alter the terms of a sale after the fact. I gave them high marks for everything they did for me that day right up until the moment they wanted more money. Get everything in writing!!! At the end of the day they would have gotten the old rim back regardless.

My car was in a really bad place. They did a bunch of tests on it to figure out the problem and explained it in a way where i would understand. (I dont understand cars too well) I have also had a mistrust of mechanics, but if I have a problem with my car in Ft. Wayne again, they are the first I will go to.

Very helpful when daughter totaled her car last spring, went back to them on mechanical issue. They said brakes were fine needed battery got a total price of under $300 for auto checked out & battery, checked receipt when she got home $183 + 40 for installation of battery alone. My kid is a USF student and I live 2 hours away, went from happy customer to not so much. Update I have since replaced my battery in my truck add that is the going rate for those installed!

We took my mother’s vehicle to Fox and Fox on the recommendation from a friend. Her car had been sideswiped by a large truck, The car was drivable, but did not have a side mirror, so the car was towed to a car dealership on Coliseum Boulevard by Glenbrook. After almost 4 weeks, we were told they could not give us a complete estimate because they thought the car might have frame damage, they were also unsure if they could get parts on a 2005 vehicle. To make a long story short, we didn’t feel we could trust the dealership to do the repair. Our friend told us about Fox and Fox, said they could check the frame. I called Fox and Fox, they were able to get the car in that very same day. While we waited, they put the car up on the hoist, checked it, said were there was absolutely no frame damage. They then told us they could do the repair on the car. That same afternoon, they called, stating they were able to get the parts that were needed. We had the car back a week later. The cost was $1,300.00 cheaper than the estimate we received from the card dealership. Employees Denise, Rhonda, and all the repair personnel were extremely helpful and friendly. When my mother got her car back it had been detailed on the inside as well, the 2005 Hyundai looked great! What had been a very stressful experience with the auto dealership, my 89-year-old mother was extremely pleased with Fox and Fox. We would give them 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!

I brought my car into fox and fox to get an alignment. I unfortunately wasnt able to due to another shops negligence but fox and fox got me in right away. They were able to diagnose my issue with suspension. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable, they did all they could to assist me. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing frame work, suspension work etc.

I highly recommend this place. I took my car to Hyundai and they quoted me $5500 to fix it. Fox and Fox Frame Service got it done for $1300!!! Stay away from car repairs at car dealerships because they will take all your money and do stuff that is not even necessary. Fox and Fox will make sure you only fix what actually needs fixed and will do it right! I will never take my vehicles elsewhere again!!!!

Over the years, they have repaired a few of my cars and this week did some body work after a fender-bender. They were prompt, kept me informed, and I got the car back with clean interior, smelling fresh and ready for the road. They were just really, really helpful.

Guy gave me an estimate, then said to discuss with my husband what I wanted to do, then give them a call first thing in the morning on what we decided, I go to call to let then know Ill be picking up my car, guy said he already started the process. They even twist peoples words around claiming we said a certain thing when we said something completely different. I dont recommend this place what so ever

Friendly and helpful staff! I coordinated body repairs on my Chevy Cruze from Illinois. They were able to work with my insurance and get the parts needed for my repairs so the work could be done quickly. The body shops in Schaumburg, IL wanted a minimum of 2 weeks to do the work and Fox & Fox took 6 days. Picked up my car and noticed they did a quick wipe down of my dash and vacuumed my car and trunk! They also alerted me to some small maintenance issues, but didnt pressure me to add the services on. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Fort Wayne Area!

Very fast service. I took my car in this morning for a subframe alignment and 4 tire alignment. They finished at 9:30AM!A little more expensive than I would have liked as I work on my own cars, but It was something I couldnt do myself, and they were much cheaper than other places!The mechanics and office staff were very helpful and nice.I would definitely suggest Fox and Fox for frame issues!Thanks guys!

Horrible people, sorry service. Nothing but shoddy work and tons of excuses and blame on the customer. Have been fighting with them for over two years just for one accident. Keep having to bring it back to get things right until I was finally told by Denise and the manager Smitty that they cant keep working for free. If they wouldve fixed it right the first time, I wouldnt have to bring it back. Airbags were deployed in the accident and have had an airbag light on since, Smitty response was why have you been driving it for 2 years. Passenger side window sprayer was busted, again the excuse is we didnt replace the hood, even though they replaced the radiator and windshield and were under the hood and to one else except an oil change. On top of that, I picked up the car after having them fix the front fender panel that kept popping out (you had another accident is what they tried saying) and now I have a check engine light on and the steering wheel is shaking and pulling like they ran over a curb or something. But when I called they said they would look at it if I wanted to pay.

2016 had a prepurchase vehicle inspection completed. Inspection went fine until they returned the vehicle to the dealership and dealer put it back on the lot and it could have potentially been sold. I was not notified of this until TOM who was supposed to call me as soon as the car inspection was complete and for certain by the end of the day never called. In fact, I called him about 20 minutes before closing and he was with a customer and promised another call back. No call came, of course.We purchased the car after seeing the report. Fast forward two years. I take the vehicle in for an oil change and a car detail (Xmas gift). They call me with a $3,600 list of repairs that need done. In two years, 30k miles, this car has seen so much wear that its going to cost me over a third of the cars value?To make matters worse, TOM was to get me a list of what all repairs need done by end of day 4/24 and of course he never called or provided the list. I call him 4/25 at 10ish AM and he asks for another hour. I speak with Dick and Tom calls me back with the list and he cannot even apologize. He makes excuses instead of owning it. What a shame.Sorry I cannot return after these unpleasant experiences. Then they have the audacity to charge me three diagnostic fees. Unbelievable.Two stars because I do respect Dick and Sara. Tom is a liability to the family business.

Went in expecting a good experience based on recommendation from another auto shop but came out realizing it was probably just the “good old boy” network directing work to each other.Dropped my truck off at 10:00 AM Monday for alignment. Was told I would need new front bearings which was not unexpected. They told me about an hour and a half, that parts were close by in town so I decided to wait. About 45 minutes later I was told my brakes were borderline, which also was not unexpected. I asked how long to fix everything and was told it would be ready by 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon so I took their courtesy shuttle home. Three o’clock arrived and no phone call so I called them. Was told they are “knee deep in it” and should another hour and a half. Since they close at 5:00 I arrived at 4:30 and was told it was not ready and would not be ready until 10:00 AM the following day. By 1:30 PM the following day still no phone call so I called them. Was told they just finished up the brakes and now had to do the alignment. Asked to speak to a manager was told he was out to lunch and that I should get a phone call by 2:15 PM. Got a call back 10 minutes later and was told my truck would be ready by 2:15.When I arrived to pick it up it was ready. Excuse given for delay was problems with parts delivery. Why couldn’t they have called me and told me that or called to give me an update. Poor customer service resulted in being 3 hours late to work, left my wife without a car, and burned unnecessary gas to go to a place on the south side of town when I had a reputable shop (Hire’s) on the north side where I live.Unfortunate that they lost a repeat customer due to poor communication customer service. Just hope the work they did doesn’t turn out to be the same.

My son was in an accident on April 12, 2016. He is a student at the University in Fort Wayne. I sent him to 3 different places to get a quote. We chose Fox and Fox. The car was damaged on the front left quarter panel due to the accident. The repair was made and we thought that was it. Approximately one month later, my son noticed a noise on the left front side and I told him to take it back there since they did the repair. They claim that it was nothing but a rock making the noise and that they had removed it. We live in Valpo and the car was in a local Chevy dealer for some routine work and they noted that the left front axle seal was leaking and that was caused by the accident. I also had someone from a Gerber Collision verify that as well. I contacted Fox and Fox and spoke with Denise and explained the sequence of events. I also explained that my son would be driving to Ft Wayne and arranged for his car to be repaired under what I thought was still under warranty. During the day I was contacted by Rhonda and it was stated that not only was it not under warranty, but that there was a problem with the struts. She said that she would have the service manager call me back. Not only did I not receive a call back from the service manager, but my son was left at the University with no means of transportation to get anything to eat that night. I was furious to say the least. I called the next morning and was not even apologized to for the lack of communication. It was also stated that the front axle seal was not an issue that they were willing to address under warranty even though I had proof from an ASE mechanic to prove otherwise. What a total disappointment and lack of professionalism on FOX and FOX. I think that they just wanted to have me pay more money for something they should have already addressed. I paid over $2100.00 for this repair. Please be aware of the business tactics or lack there of when it comes to Fox and Fox. I would not recommend them at all!!!!

Couldnt get my alignment right twice... they inspected my car and couldnt find the loose bolts from my previous alignment then my rear caliber adjustment broke because they didnt leave enough threads in it and ruined my new tire my coilover and damaged the body of my car.

I used Fox and Fox for an insurance claim and they were by far the best shop that Ive ever used. I will continue to use them for other repairs in the future .

Brought my car for a check after hitting a pothole. While I had an issue with the problem persisting after that initial adjustment, the staff was extremely helpful--getting me another appointment the next day and shuttling me to and from the shop. A rare mechanic where you dont feel youre getting fleeced.

I love these guys! Dealer quote for inner and outer tie rod ends was $850 I got them done at Fox and Fox and it cost me $489.00 with OEM parts!!!! I have saved thousands by using these guys over my dealership! Very friendly staff and gave me a ride to work with no hassle!

Missing my spare tire and rim that was mounted under the bed of my truck. After this last time I took it there. Then after I called them about it they just blew me off!They also failed to see the codes in my wifes suburban when took it there to be inspected. We wanted to have it professionally checked out but if they had simply plugged into the computer they would have caught what was a slipping transmission!!!!! We ended up buying a $8000 suburban with a bad transmission because of Fox and foxs diagnosis. They transmission shops all said that they should have found this and that it was not something that just happened.I have spent thousands of dollars on this place having them work on my box truck and everything thing they worked on had to go back and be fixed because it wasnt done right the first time.I personally do not like this place. I could go on and on with much more nightmares, but at the end of the day I think they charge too much for labor, dont have enough care or pride I their work and are just too big for their own good.

Why havent I used Fox & Fox before? My vehicle had broken down. I called Fox & Fox. They arranged towing for me, kept me updated on the delay of the towing (we had really bad weather at the time), kept me updated on the car, and didnt charge an arm and a leg. What really impressed me is about 4 weeks later they called me to make sure the car was running correctly and make sure I wasnt having any issues. I have never had an auto shop call after the fact to make sure everything was still okay.

I had heard a lot of good things about Fox & Fox, so I decided to bring my 135i in to have the oil filter housing and cooler gaskets replaced. The front desk service was fantastic. But, when I got my car back, the primary battery cable rail brackets were broken, and the gaskets were still leaking oil. I took my car into a BMW dealership thinking that my head gasket needed replaced when in-fact it was my oil filter housing and cooler gaskets that needed replaced. My coolant expansion tank and system is full of oil due to the poor service. The service professional at BMW said (Fox & Fox) did a terrible job. I now have the possible problem of a ruined water pump/thermostat, turbos, and all hoses in the coolant system (which would cost an additional $5,400). I would not recommend Fox & Fox for any engine work.

They cant just fix what needs to be fixed.They just tell you that you need everything done. For example: brakes pass.They wont just change to pass they tell you that your calipers are looking pretty bad regardless of 4th fact that they are only one year old.Upsell is the name of their game here

I had my car towed to their shop. They said I needed a new starter for my 02 imapala and quoted me a price of 600 plus dollars. Fox and fox charged me 100 plus dollars to diagnose that I needed a new starter. I took my car to a different shop who charged 245 to put a starter in. On my way home the car stopped while I was driving and wouldnt start again. Fox and fox wrongly diagnosed my car and now Im out hundreds of dollars because of them. I wouldnt recommend this shop. If u want good auto work try southgate automotive or Clark and sons

If I could Id rate them lower. Took my truck in for a simple front end alignment after Grote replaced my struts for me. Grote ensured me that my front end was nice and tight. This place first says I need a camber bolt or they cant do the alignment. I told them fine just get my steering wheel straight ill take it back to Grote about the camber bolt. Well come to find out with the struts that were put on you dont need a camber bolt. Then they said my sway bar links were bad. Not going bad but bad. Anybody knows cars know that when they are bad they make all kinds of noise and handling is all over. Now remember I said Grote said my front end was good. Well 3 weeks later there is an awful noise starts coming from both front tires.Turns out my sway bar links are gone. They didnt even go from good to starting to show signs of wear to bad. they just went good to bad. So I replace them. As Im taking the old ones off I notice all the rubber boot were cut. Fast forward 6 more weeks. Now I have 2 more new sounds coming from the front end. I dont believe in coincidences. I just find it odd how before they touch my vehicle the front end is good and after I get it back I have nothing but trouble with it. I will never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. As far as Im concerned they get 1/4 star and thats being generous.

Absolute clowns. Take my truck there to get an alignment. Quoted $97 dollars. Dropped my truck off Sunday night. Get a call Monday morning from them stating they cant align my truck. My factory camber and caster locks are too rusted and they cannot get them loose. My driver side wheel bearing has some play in it and wont allow them to properly align my truck. My dad is a mechanic but has his shop back in Michigan. Mind you, my dad gets cambers loose on vehicles at least 15 years old multiple times a week. My truck is an 09. You cannot sit here and tell me that my factory cambers are ruined. They stated I needed to replace everything for me to align it hahahaha. Asked them what they would quote me, he goes 1400.00. I literally laughed. Told them how much of a joke that was and went and picked up my truck. Best part is, they charged me 57.00 dollars to put my truck on the hoist only to say they cant fix it. So I drop my truck off to Hiday Motors in Bluffton for an alignment and Oil Change on the night of 5/16. I get a call at 8:30 am the NEXT MORNING stating my truck was done. Hiday motors aligned my front end with NO ISSUE and changed my oil. Price, 105.00 dollars. Fox and Fox thinks they can weasel you into their services because they pretty much the only place around that can align lifted trucks. DONT GO THERE. If you want quality service at a low price and quick turn around, go to Hiday Motors in Bluffton, IN.

I have a 1995 f250 all I wanted was a simple brake job...6/12/2013. I typically do all my own work which I regret letting someone else do the work because I get screwed every time. Anyway, I payed for there work and left, everything seemed fine but not a week later, not 300 miles later 6/18/2013, I had to have my truck towed back to there shop because the spindle nut came loose and my whole wheel was ready to fall off. Lucky for me I caught It before I continued my drive home on I-69. Once I spoke to them this issue was no big deal to them seemed like it was an everyday scenario. Regardless They did pay for the tow and they did repair my truck... So They said that they had replace the wheel seal and bearing in there warranty paperwork. until today 3/17/2016 i realize its 2.5 years later that could be argued that its been too long but I had 197000 miles when they had the truck the mileage is stated on my receipt and now I have 232000miles quick math that is 35000 miles. but I am replacing ball joints and I find the hub seal on the back side of the hub bent to hell. Leaving the rubber seal that is supposed to be in there, to keep water and dirt out, nearly gone and what is left of the seal it is completely mangled. As I said I only had 35000 miles on their new wheel seal I guess they bend after that many miles? Funny thing is that the passenger side although worn but is not bent at all. So what really happened here was it had not been replaced. I was not aware that after taking my vehicle to a PROFFESIONAL MECHANIC or should I just narrow it down to FOX AND FOX I was supposed inspect there work... I wish I could post pictures to show you the true damages they have caused me.3/21/2016 I spoke to the owner, Dick Fox, to try and resolve the issue at hand and he was first upset that I didnt pick up the phone and give him a chance to fix the problem before I had trash talked him on the Internet... But as I said early and I have the paperwork to prove that I had given them the chance the week after my brake job. That was their chance. He then asked if I had repacked my wheel bearing in the last 2.5 years, as if it was going to keep the wheel seal from getting bent... (I was talking to him about the wheel seal not bearings) and I said no because Ive always been told to repack them when the brake pads need changed every 30,000 to 40,000 miles but the owner of fox and fox claims it needs done every 20,000. I called the ford dealer after speaking with him and they said what I had originally thought was the correct amount of miles. But if I owned a company that did vehicle maintenance I would say a number that would make me more money as well. And to put this in a whole different scenario if I bought a brand new truck... does that truck need any maintenance after 20000 miles other than oil changes every 3000 miles? Not a chance! At any rate our phone call was going no where because I was enraged due to the fact that I was being spoken to like I knew nothing about cars what so ever! He had his big head on going on and on about how he has been in business for so many years and the work they do is soooo great but what my conclusion is that he has a customer base that doesnt know much about cars, which is in no means a bad thing towards the customers themselves... people have different interest as far as what they what to learn about, but if I had no clue about vehicles Id be right back there spending money again keeping him in business and I would just pay the bill...trusting the company that they would not be bending me over my hood. Probably what they were hoping for in my case. At the end of our call I told him that I would update my review, only because it seemed to be the only thing he cared about during our phone call, so here I am warning whoever may still be reading how he handled the whole situation and these were his EXACT words after I had told him I would edit my review yeah that sounds like you and I never met the guy in my life nor have I ever written a bad review, not once in my life until now.
