No fluff - this is one of the best auto service experiences that I can remember. First time meeting Jason - and he helped me out with my car on a few small things I came in for (oil and brake light), but then spent 15 minutes talking me through some questions I had about some larger repairs I had been quoted for my car from another shop. He explained everything in simple terms with great analogies (I’m not a natural car guy), gave me a comparable quote, and just was patient and transparent and easy to work with. It felt like I was bringing my car to a friend. I’m still deciding if the larger repairs are worth it or if I should just get a new car, but if I have the larger repairs done, I’ll be bringing it to Jason and his team. I live in Chicago with family near Ft Wayne. My future service and repairs will be done here (as well as Friermood Tire in Wabash, those guys are awesome and honest as well). They were honest in informing me of what it would take to get my vehicle back to operating correctly unfortunately the total cost was more than what the vehicle is worth. However I would highly recommend them for anyone in need of professional courteous service for their vehicle.

Tried to get brake pads on a car. I thought something was funny when I called and they wouldnt tell me what it would cost. Insisted that they get to inspect the whole car. That should have been a warning but I scheduled an appointment and went. Then they were asking for address, email and information that they didnt need to know to change brake pads. They only needed to know the what the car was, what I wanted done and I would would pay when finished. I had a bad feeling about this place when I headed there. after they supposedly inspected the car they came back with a list of stuff they wanted to do that would have cost hundreds of dollars more than needed. They will milk you for the money rather than do what you request.Also I checked with the dealer and didnt need the stuff the tried to tell me I needed.

Joe @ Meineke was very helpful and even took care of having our vehicle towed. He went above and beyond in attaining quotes to replace our transmission.

They were very busy and their schedule was full, but they took care of me anyway when I showed up with a problem. They did the diagnostic, ordered parts, and performed the needed service and had my car ready for me in close to an hour. Christian was fantastic! Five stars all around!! I highly recommend.

As usual the service was great and besides the oil change they did a multi-point check with pictures of many things on my vehicle. I have been using this branch of meineke for quite a few years and whether I have a problem big or small they always do a great job and are very competent and professional. Plan to keep on going there.

The service all-wheel drive system warning came on in my 2018 Buick Envlave.Meineke could not find any problems with the unit nor was anything stored on the computer.Just having the diagnostic done was a big relief but the amazing thing is they did not find anything so they did not charge me anything.That kind of business integrity will be rewarded by customer loyalty. At least by me.I appreciate their commitment to quality and fair pricing.

We discovered Meineke a couple years ago. We have been bringing our car here for all maintenance and repairs. They are awesome. Great service for a good price. Much better service and better price than the dealer.

I had a transmission flush. Service was great. However the cost was $100 more than what was quoted. Which was irritating.

I brought my car in for suspected bad starter. They confirmed the problem, found a cheaper replacement starter than they originally quoted me and passed the savings on to me. So I got the starter replaced and for less than I was expecting. They were professional and got the job done on time as promised. Thanks for a job well done. I will be back.

Clean neat garage bays, professional and courteous technicians who know what they are doing. They are not cheap but neither is their work.

Called and asked a question. As a DIY guy, they were very helpful with no attitude or questions about whether they could take a look for me. They explained a couple things allowing me to accomplish my mission by myself. Went 2 times in 2 days for lug nut issues and barely charged me a thing. Wonderful staff. Thank you!

My wifes car battery died and was towed to Meineke after hours. I called them to follow up at 1:00 on a weekday and was informed that they had received no notification the car was there. That didnt stop Meineke! Not only did they get the car in the same day, but they got it repaired and ready for pickup the same day too.A turn around time of 2 hours with almost no warning is incredible, especially for a place that schedules appointments! Their staff is friendly, professional, and fast! The free towing within 5 miles for rewards members is a blessing.

LIES!!! I took my car to them because I heard some squealing noise coming from my brakes. They lied to me about my car needing new brake pads and rotors, on both axles and wanted to charge me $646 for the work. I decided not to use them so I bought high quality pads and rotors from NAPA and had a friend work on my brakes. Come to find out, only my rear brake pads needed replaced, not the rotors, and my front brakes are in great condition - probably have another 20,000 miles on them. DON’T TRUST THEM!!!

My tire went flat in front of this business and I nursed my vehicle into the lot. The guy inside said they are too busy to help and suggested I call a tow truck. A competing business down the road came down right away and assisted In towing and took care of my truck immediately. What a disappointment!!! Anyone thats been stranded with a flat can understand the frustration and to be turned down in this situation was a downer.

The team was very professional, helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, I drive a company vehicle so I could not get my engine issue resolved as the company fleet has a warranty that the it must be serviced by the dealership.

Bought tires on line because that’s the only place I could get them. Selected them from a list, with no prior knowledge of them. Getting an timely appointment was a hassle. When I got there half the bays were empty. They didn’t meet the price I was promised by the tire seller.

I am always impressed by their transparency and honesty. Their inspection is very thorough and it never feels like they are trying to upsell any extras like many other places Ive gone to do. They are professional and very kind. This is my go-to place for everything for both of my vehicles. They have earned my total trust, and I am grateful to have them.

I am very dissatisfied with the cost of the repair. After my brakes failed I had my vehicle towed to the closest shop to have the braking system repaired. The closest shop was Meineke on route US24 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After paying over $1,320 for the repair I felt I overpaid for the service. I decided to compare prices for a similar service with other reputable car repair shops in the area. Their quotes were in the range of $850.Meineke charged me over 50 percent more than other repair shops in the Fort Wayne area.

Brake inspection ended in an outrageous quote for $1200 (4 rotors, four pads on a 2010 Honda)...we bought all the parts at Auto Zone for $330. Will not be going back to Meineke.

Warranty claim they handled no problem. Fixed the same day and gave me a loaner vehicle. Great job!

Asked a simple request to check transmission fluid level and color. I was advised that everything was great. 3 days later, I am at a dealership with transmission issues, and was advised that my level was dangerously low, and black to color. I contacted Meineke about this and they said they trust their employees judgement on what they wrote down. Will never return there.

My experiences at Meineke have always been great. I dont even bother going anywhere else when our cars need serviced to repaired. They were upfront and honest about what needs attention and the prices have always been reasonable. We have 3 cars and weve been going to Meineke for both major and minor repairs for the past 5 years with no complaints.

I had just bought a battery in March of 2020 and I had to keep jumping it so I went with my warranty paperwork and a battery was installed no questions asked very professional and was a relief not to have to argue about it which is what I was expecting to have to do Jason took very good care of me and was out the door within a half hour, my truck starts right up now no more jumping it

We had just left the heart Dr and the tire pressure alarm came on. We limped to Meineke and a serviceman told us they didn’t have time today to repair our tire but he could put a temporary patch on. He worked and worked to get the embedded piece of metal out, put in a plug and filled it with air. When my husband was ready to pay he was told there was no charge. We were so thankful for the awesome help and kindness shown to us. My husband recently had heart surgery and this could have been hard on him. We were able to drive the hour home safely thanks to this awesome business.

I called to schedule an appointment to have a tire fixed on one of the patrol cars at work.

Typical garage. I had them replace rear shocks. I have done myself in nearly 45 minutes without lifts. They quoted me 1 hour 20 minutes so $189.00 bucks. I sat across the street and watched, it took them about 45 minutes. Still paid for 1 hour 20 minutes. Like I said, typical.

The gentlemen were thorough, transparent with the issue and my options for repairing it, and didnt try to shove additional products on me. The experience was exactly what it should be and the no pressure attitude will bring me back.

I chose this Meineke after reading numerous great reviews and Im glad I chose to use them! The staff is friendly and go above and beyond to make sure everything is done correctly and promptly. They are not about the money they are about doing the job correctly. I had several things planned for my mechanic to do and after testing one out and it not working they called me asked if they could run a diagnostic to see if they should proceed with my plan or stop. The diagnostic showed it was a simple fix so they did their fix and saved me a bunch of money! I recommend them to all my friends!

They do good work. The weird part was that 5000 miles ago they said I needed new brakes because they were worn down. This oil change they said my brakes were fine.

Had my daughter’s car towed to Meineke after it died while she was driving. They determined it needed a new alternator and battery. They called the next day 15 minutes before they closed to say it was done so we went right away to pick it up. Paid for it and went to leave and found that the door locks and radio/display, that we’re working, didn’t work. They said that they thought it came in that way (it didn’t), but checked fuses and didn’t find anything. Since they were closing they told us that we would have to make an appointment to bring it back. This was on a Saturday and next open appointment was on the next Thursday! Went home and did some research online and found the fuse that had blown and fixed it myself. We will go somewhere else next time.

I have used this location several times in the past, but the service, value and quality have significantly deteriorated over the past year. The technician told me he fixed my problem of a rattling heat shield, but it clearly continued to rattle a few minutes after I left the parking lot. They also left the wheel lock key tool on my passenger seat, which would have been fine, but it drew my attention to the seat that was filthy from greasy hands. They had also previously misdiagnosed our other vehicle, causing unnecessary cost and waste of time. After my last oil change, they left dirty rags in the vehicle. They also charged significantly more for their advertised price for an oil change. I will not return and will be sure to share these poor experiences with others.

I give this a 3.0 stars for this visit. I waited quite long for an oil change and after waiting one hour I went out to ask one of the employees how much longer will it take as I could see through the window from the waiting room that my car was NOT being worked on. The employee informed me that they were waiting for a part to arrive (which I was not aware of). After my car was finally finished (approximately 2 hours) the mechanic advised his findings and said the problem was their fault (something was lose regarding my oil) so they did not charge me for that.Overall, the staff has been very pleasant each time I’ve been there and informative but this visit took too long and I thought I should have been informed after one hour of waiting in the waiting area for an oil change and this is why I’m giving it 3.0 stars for THIS VISIT.

I always get good service and their oil change service is excellent.Would have loved to give them 5 star rating for their service but their online appointment and follow up is really bad.I had an appointment at 1.00 PM and reached the location at around 1.10 (Finding the entrance of this location is really tricky) and they had already taken a different customer in! Whats the point of making a prior appointment and giving your email and phone number to them, if they cannot call and let you know that they will be taking a new customer in. I had to take permission from work to get the oil change today only to find out that they have taken someone else in and would be delaying my appointment. 1 Star for how they handled my appointment and had me wait much longer than what I had to!So, overall had to settle for 3 stars even though they provide excellent service.Please make sure you call customers to keep track of their appointment and letting them know if you are going to take in new customers.

From my experience, I don’t think 1 tpms sensor should cost $180 to replace but that may just be me lol. Ended up getting a replacement at discount tire for $60.

Technician rounded off my drain plug and the appointment ended up taking over 2 hours for them to get a new one so the service could be completed...but the whole cost of synthetic oil change new drain plug was no charge. Not ideal, but the manager made it right. Top notch customer service in my book.

The guys out in the shop do a great job too. They are always busy and I can see why. While I had my 2008 Charger Dayton in they let me watch the whole process. Talking with one of the guys I learned how much they support Honor Flight, the local Fighter Wing and an awesome Veterans Day program. Definitely be back for any car needs.

Came in for my first visit earlier this week. Had my brakes replaced a fair price. They took me out to the car so I could see what they were recommending. Took about an hour for the work to be performed. Will be back, these guys are thorough and let you know what they are doing and why.

If you drive a foreign luxury vehicle, you know how difficult it is to get an appointment with the dealership. I decided that rather than waiting 4 weeks for an appointment with BMW, I would get my brakes replaced at this shop. What a mistake. The only reason why I am not giving one star is because one of the staff members realized how badly they messed up and tried to help fix it. They used new parts I purchased directly from BMW and removed rotors and realized after the fact that the factory requires replacement of certain bolts once removed and then they were unwilling to adjust my bill. Thankfully American Express understood. The best way I can describe this place is a place where scams occur frequently. The amount of up selling they push on you is unreal. This place is a joke. Avoid at all cost.

I recently went in for an oil change. They told me my brake line was leaking but did not tell me which one. Ill admit, I didnt ask at the time because I had sat there for 1.5 hours for an OIL CHANGE and was very ready to go home. I called back seeing if they could clarify which one was leaking, they never wrote it down in the report thus they couldnt tell me. I took my car to another place, they did a brake inspection and not only did they not find anything wrong, but they didnt even feel the need to charge me because they didnt find anything remotely wrong with my car. This is absolutely NOT the first time I have had issues with Meineke pushing for things to be done on my car - which is only 3 years old and in good condition. They have officially lost a customer after this final straw.

Scheduled an oil change with a coupon I received in the mail. They were on schedule and they were polite and not pushy! Had coffee and water in the waiting room for us. Great deal!

I dont write reviews. But my experience with Meineke deserves a review as long as it stops 1 person from visiting this shop. My car broke down, and Meineke was the closest option, so I decided to give it a shot. A couple days later I picked the car up and everything seemed to be working fine. The price was a little steep, but I was thankful to have my car back. They also performed a full vehicle checkup with documentation on each component of the car that could cause issues. In the documents, it is noted that my brake fluid was slightly discolored. I didnt think much of it, and figured I would have that addressed during my next service. A month later I decided to take it back to Meineke for them to take care of a couple other issues they had noted to be wrong with it. In the month I had been driving it since its last checkup I had noticed my brakes felt a little funny. I asked them to also look into my brakes to be sure they were safe to drive on. A day later, they had repaired my tie rod (as I had asked), and told me that my brakes were just fine. I even have the documentation that shows that on this second visit, they didnt notice anything wrong with my brakes. 2 hours after picking up my car, my brakes went out at a 4-way stop. Luckily I was able to swerve to avoid hitting the car in front of me. I got my car to a parking spot (Squealing and grinding the whole way), and called to have my car towed back to Meineke. Meineke called me back the next morning and told me that I should not have been driving my car in its condition. Nearly all of the brakes had something wrong with them and it was going to cost $1500 to fix. I have NO IDEA how this group of mechanics went from nothing wrong with brakes to You shouldnt be driving on these. Its gonna cost $1500. I had the car towed to a reliable shop that night. I wouldnt take my car here for any issues. They will not address the issues you are having. They came very close to causing a major accident by providing their piece of mind in telling me that there were no issues when there clearly was a major problem.
