I went into the local hhgregg to see what they had to offer. I was skeptical because of the other reviews about this location. The sales guy, Brad came up to me and asked me if he could be of assistance. He was not pushy. He was knowledgeable and engaged me with good answers to all of my questions. Brad even offered to help me complete the process in-store to get my rebate. He showed me how the appliance packages they have displayed can easily be switched out for a higher model or vice versa. He took my budget into consideration as well. He gave a good opinion and showed me a variety of different options.Brads manager, cant remember his name, was also very helpful and accommodating! Together they were a perfect team. I appreciated everything they did for me and ended up getting the Frigidaire Gallery kitchen collection and upgraded the fridge. I asked the manager how their delivery service was? He admitted that their delivery service is better now because theyre no longer working with the company they had before. Together we looked at inventory and collectively made a decision on when my new appliances would be delivered. I appreciate everything. So far so good. I will write another review after delivery and install!
Five minutes in the door I spent more time listening to the four sales representatives that wouldnt levave me alone. Great way to push people out of the door not even letting them look and make choices themselves.
This place would be nice if it wasnt for the pushy salesman. You really feel like they just want to make the sale. They do have a nice selection, but pushy salesman = go somewhere else.
I was not happy with the selection of washing machines. The staff was friendly and willing to help, but they simply didnt have what I was looking for. Store was clean and well-organised.
Puchased all the appliances for my new home 6 years ago. When installing the washer and dryer, they tore the linoleum in the laundry room, then placed the washer and dryer to hide the damage, which want discovered for another year. They also did not properly hook up the dryer vent, which wasnt noticed until the wall behind it was covered in lint.It took several tries (I believe three) to get my stove, as it kept coming in damaged. There was a small dent in the side of the stove, but at that point I was living without a stove for several days, so I accepted it.It wasnt discovered until 6 months after delivery that they broke the vent on the top of the microwave when installing it.Today, my refrigerator stopped working. I purchased the 10 year extended compressor warranty, so we are attempting to contact service. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, we left our name and number for a call back. Thirty minutes later we received a call. After explaining the issue, we were transferred and placed on hold again. So far, we have been transferred four times. Since the last transfer, weve been on hold for 40 minutes without speaking to anyone. Our total amount of time so far for this call (not including the original call) is 1 hour and 10 minutes. And were still on hold.
Was supposed to have a refrigerator delivered driver was supposed to call 40 minutes before he delivered driver never called driver never showed up have to reschedule my delivery after I had scheduled the day off work very unprofessional and at the delivery department guy was calling me cuz and bro and use profanity will never shop there again worst experience ever recommend using Best Buy Sears
Terrible Service - Nothing but a nightmare on getting our fridge that we purchased on Black Friday. Now they are saying it wont come until 12/28. They have lost a customer.

Store personnel were good. Stay away from the Frigidaire Gallery Series of Appliances. Bought four and have gone bad in less than 2.5 years.
I had an electronic problem and searched around town to solve the problem. After being blown off by Radio shack, ABC warehouse, and best buy I called H. H. Gregg. I talked to Peter and instead of blowing me off, like the others did, he listened to my problem and came up with a solution. Because Time was an issue I was in the store five minutes later and Peter had everything I needed ready to go. I could not be happier with how Peter handled the situation. If you need a TV or have an electronic problem go to H. H. Gregg and ask for Peter and he will take great care of you. From now on I am going to buy all my TVs from Peter and not waste my time going anywhere else.

I bought a ton of stereo equipment from them and customer service was truly top notch. This place is focused on customers not like most of the big box stores.
Worst place ever. Purchased a washer and dryer that was to be delivered. They never called to schedule the delivery so I called them to see what happened. They informed me it was on back order and they didnt know when they would get more. That would have been nice to know when purchased. Will never go back.
Even better now that its permanently closed

They pressure into a purchase, they pressure you into a service contract - but when the item fails, they do not stand behind either the manufacturers warranty, the service contact warranty or the no-lemon clause. Bit twice with this company at this location... there will not be a third time.
