The service person (Mark) was very proficient and Professional. He not only repaired the problem, but took the time to service the door. He even made sure all the bolts were tight and that everything was adjusted properly. This excellent service is rare in todays market.

Yikes! My garage door spring broke leaving my car stuck inside and no way for me to pick up my kids, etc. John was wonderful when I called and got me a fair price and same day service to repair it. The technician, Mark, was friendly and helpful and found some additional small issues to fix and serviced the door and opener. It all works great and is quieter than ever! Fort Wayne Door was outstanding. I called with concerns over what my garage door was doing and they were in my garage fixing it the next day. On a referral I connected with Fort Wayne door for the first time in 1988. I purchased four commercial doors for a business leasing property we owned and was very pleased with the entire experience. As a contractor I have continued to use Fort Wayne Door multiple times and have referred them to my customers many times also. Over the last 43 years every experience with FWD has been very positive. In 2009 they replaced the 16 foot door in our home. Another excellent experience! On June 4, 2021 I remodeled the 16 foot opening, reducing it down for a 12 foot door and added a man door. Fort Wayne Door replaced our 16 foot door with a new 12 and reinstalled our still beautiful 16 foot door on a friends house that needed updating. John Brawn was the service tech for this scenario and I cant say enough good about working with him!Thank you guys at Fort Wayne Door for your faithful, dependable, competitive and courteous service over all these years. Bought a villa in SW Fort Wayne that seems to need a little TLC everywhere. FW Door solved the problem of making certain the door is in excellently working order with all hinges greased. It is now properly aligned, remote codes updated... so I feel more secure.

Great experience! I had a garage door opener that was ancient and hadnt worked for years. Also a snapped cable and the door was off the track and wonky. When I called they were patient and polite and answered all my questions. They even gave me prices over the phone! Showed up early the next day and fixed everything for under $500! Highly recommend!

Really impressed. Im always a little leery to hire a new repair main, but I trusted the Google reviews and called because of a broken torsion spring. They had an answering machine, and (like the true Millennial I am) I did not leave a message because I hate leaving messages. About 10 seconds later, I get a call back from a very nice rep saying he may have missed my call. Not only that, but he was able to give me a direct quote in minutes and set up an appointment for the next day. The service man came on time and was extremely nice. Basically, everything you could ever want in a service team and I dont say that lightly. The repair man went above and beyond and our door now works great.

I managed to get our old garage door unhinged and stuck with one side off-tracks. Doing a google search and reading reviews, I was dreading the call and how I would describe the problem (I know nothing about garage doors). I found Ft. Wayne Door Inc. and was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and decorum with which the gentleman (John?) responded: not overly technical, rational, but most importantly patient and kind. This was a good sign.He said he could have someone out within half an hour. And so they did. A crew of two arrived changed some parts on the door and tracks, did some maintenance. I was very worried it would have needed a replacement as the door has some damages and tracks are flimsy, but nope... they fixed it, gave me some sound advice about prolonging its life, and recommended some money saving tips given the age it.I am so happy that they were (1) reasonably priced, (2) honest and helpful - building good business through human relations and not immediate profit, and (3) professionalism and efficiency.I wish other businesses and services would learn from your model. Ft Wayne Door offers the service that we all wish we could get. I needed a quick repair done, 2 hours after I called to make an appt, they were already there. Once there, Mark looked at the situation and not only made the repair I called in but suggested a couple of other repairs (for not much more money) so that our door would be good for years to come. That was amazing to hear after the last two repair companies said these are temporarily repairs you need a new door and tried to sell me one.If you want quick, reasonably priced honest work these guys are the place to go!

Good servive but didnt have what we needed.

This morning I hit my garage door button and nothing happened. Yep, one of the springs broke and my car was trapped and I was going to be late to work. Bad way to start the day.I contacted 3 local companies. One didnt return my call, another took my name, address and phone number and told me they would call when a serviceman was available. Fort Wayne Door also took my information and told me they would call when a representative would be on his way. Joe, I believe was his name, also took the time to explain the cost of replacing the broken spring and the cost and time benefits of replacing both.About 1 1/2 hours later Joe called to tell me someone was en route and gave me an eta. I asked if he wanted directions but he said they already had it covered. True to his word, Dee arrived with a smile and was eager to get the repair done. He was knowledgeable, experienced. and the kind of person you would want working in your home, or garage in this case. The second company called while Dee was on his way but I told them not to send anyone. At the end of the transaction Dee told me had they arrived they could have charged me for a trip charge.The bill came to exactly what Joe told me in our initial conversation and I was pulling into my office 3 hours after my initial call.My door is fixed so I cant give them more business but if I had the need there is no doubt I would call Fort Wayne Door. I called around to various companies to service my garage door, and this was the only place that was very up-front and clear about pricing (and offered the best price by far). I spoke to Joe, who was wonderfully helpful. Every other company just wanted me to give them my address right away to get someone out there before telling me how much it would cost. Joe at FW Door spoke with me about possible common issues and what it would take to fix each of them. They were able to come out to fix it in no time. It was serviced very efficiently.. in under 30 minutes. I HIGHLY recommend this company!
