Brought my automatic watch in as it was running a bit fast. Their watchmaker was able to diagnose and fix the issue in about five minutes — on the house! That’s customer service right there. Like I told the good man, if I’m in the market for some fine jewelry or watches (which they have in spades), they’re at the top of my list.

This morning, I took my 90-year old mother to Kubes to purchase a ring guard for the diamond solitaire that represents 71 years of marriage to my father. Brittany, the oldest great grandchild of the Kubes family, treated my mother with the most gentle respect. Her courtesy was exceptional, and when I realized how sincerely kind she was being, I let her know that my mom was a recent widow, that the man who gave her that ring, married her in 1949, and raised six children with her - died April 24, 2021. My mother was grateful for Kubes excellent customer service and I was moved to tears by Brittanys graciousness.

To say that Kubes Jewelers takes care of their customers is an understatement. I worked with Chris to pick out an engagement ring for my now fiancée and he was great every step of the way. Top notch customer service! Had to get my engagement ring resized twice. The second time got to work with Katie I went to pick it up and Katie noticed right away it wasnt a good secure size. She kept sizing me several times until she felt confident what was the right size. I didnt want to go another day without my ring. So she was trying to make it work for us and then she suggested she would drop it off since we couldnt figure a good time to bring it back. Kubes helped to combine two engagement ring designs my then girlfriend had in mind into one absolutely perfect ring. I love this place! This place is very transparent on there prices. They are the only jewelry store I visited that will give you a appraisal paper with your purchase. This is the first review of anything online that I have ever done, but my experience with Kubes was impressive enough to make me do it. I live in Pensacola Florida, but am from the Fort Worth area. I recently purchased an engagement ring from Kubes and it was a great experience. The staff there is very knowledgeable and straight forward. I am in the military and was visiting family at home for one week and they ordered a wonderful selection of diamonds for me to view while I was there. I purchased a diamond right before I left town, and they were able to put it in the setting I selected and get it to me by the next day. I worked Primarily with Chris and he was very professional and a pleasure to do business with. It is very rare to receive service of this quality and I will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

I recently bought an engagement ring from Kubes Jewelers and, while I do not normally write online reviews, felt that my experience working with Chris merits one. From start to finish, I was extremely impressed with him. I started my search at another jeweler and had an okay experience (I even found a really good ring there) but felt that, if I ended up buying from that jeweler, it was only because I liked the ring and not at all because of their service. Thereafter, I went to Kubes to get a second opinion and to validate my pending choice of the first jeweler. From the minute I started dealing with Chris, I preferred his service over the other jeweler. Whereas when I was looking at settings/stones with the other jeweler he seemed to have his attention on any number of things beyond me, when I was working with Chris, his focus was solely on me and my needs. He never tried to up-sell me (in contrast to the other jeweler) and was very helpful by offering suggestions, searching for better choices of stones for me, and fully explaining to me my various options. Chris was extremely communicative during the process of my ultimately having a custom ring made and I love my purchase (as does my fiance). One of the biggest thing I can say about Chris is that I trusted that what he was saying to me was truthful - there was no double speak. For an unfamiliar process like buying a diamond ring, the level of trust I had with him was very comforting. I would recommend going to Kubes to anyone and I plan on going straight back to Chris at Kubes once it comes time for me to buy the wedding bands.

I lived in the neighborhood for 20 years and went to Kubes to have the diamonds reset in my mothers wedding band when I inherited it after her death. They were kind, friendly and reasonable. I knew that they would take care of my mothers ring. I have also had a ring resized and some other repairs done there as well. As a single mother of 4 and a teacher, I have never been in the position to buy jewelry. If I were, I would buy from the Kubes family. They have never treated me any different than they would a customer who was buying expensive jewelry. Their prices are reasonable and you feel safe leaving your valued pieces with them. They are the best!

We have done business with Kubes for 50 years and found them to be the most helpful, professional and honest Jeweler of our experience. We do not currently live in Fort Worth but we travel when we need to purchase important items of jewelry. They helped to design a wedding ring for my wife made from my grandmothers diamond and then opened on Sunday morning when I forgot to pick it up until the wedding day. You will not find a better place to do business. I can only pity the one reviewer who was so defensive he seems to have misunderstood everything.

Ive dropped by the store twice, as Im just starting my engagement ring hunt, and everyone Ive come into contact with has been extremely helpful, kind, and patient. The ballpark prices are right in line with any other place Ive checked, and theyre not pushy or snooty at all. I dont often write reviews, but the 2 star review above left me a bit puzzled, so I thought Id throw in my 2 cents.

This is a great place to go for jewelry purchases, repairs, and/ or custom work. They have beautiful estate pieces. Their custom work is unparalleled. Brent goes way beyond what you might expect to be certain youre getting exactly what you need. I have had batteries for my Tag Heurer replaced there. They did it on the spot, while another jeweler had to send it off and charged me $300. Their reasoning was that it could only be done buy a qualified Tag service department. Ridiculous! This is a wonderful store, and the, salespeople will spend unlimited time with you to make certain you get all the attention you need. My only disappointment is that the store closes for two weeks every summer. Had to go two weeks without a watch. Good thing Im retired and dont give a flip what time it is. Otherwise, who knows? Maybe Id leave a one star review for the same ridiculous reason given by another reviewer. That person would probably be more comfortable at Zales.

This is my jeweler. Has been for over 15 years, no desire to go anywhere else. Family owned and operated.

I am shocked by two of the reviews. I have recommended Kubes for over a decade. I purchased over 100 pieces (no, not the expensive ones, used (estate) pieces) since the late 1990s. I recommend them for the following reasons: 1. Their guarantee is solid. The children and grandchildren of the original owner now run the shop. If you need help in the future with what you brought there, I believe they will still be there to help. 2. A layaway program (thats how I managed to buy all that stuff). 3. Knowledgeable staff. Three or four of the staff are graduate gemologist (its real, look it up). 4. Friendly, yes, openly cordial, genial and civil. They will show me and let me handle jewelry they know I could not purchase because they know I appreciate quality workmanship. I have spent over an hour of their time just looking. Never, ever have they seemed rushed or inattentive. 5. Prices: There is always a range of prices for any jewelry item. Id say their prices are in the high medical range, but they always give the custom a reason for their prices i.e. quality of the stone or setting, etc. I think overall their prices are close to fair, but that is subjective. 6. FYI: I am not a family member nor an employee. Im just a guy who will drive from Dallas to Fort Worth for quality. (Although, its got to said, the best thing about Dallas is that is only 30 miles from Fort Worth).

I took my engagement ring that my fiancé purchased from Zales here to get resized. I didnt trust any of the Zales stores to do a good job, but Kubes was great! They originally said it would take a week but they called me after only 4 days saying it was ready for pick up! The ring looks beautiful and I really appreciate their timely, affordable service. I dont even know where to start about how awesome these guys are. I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend, but I had no idea where to start. I did my research on all the cs and different diamond retailers. I was planning to buy online but I had my reservations about making such a large purchase without ever seeing the diamond. I decided to seek out a jeweler and came across Kubes on yelp. I have them a call to feel them out and talked to Chris. He immediately impressed me with not only his knowledge but his honesty about diamonds and everything that comes along with buying an engagement ring.I told him the specifics and price range of what I wanted and he got three diamonds that were all around my specifications. When I went in to look at them, he talked to me about all the pros and cons of each and what to specifically look for. He had one there that I knew was it.Then after choosing the diamond he helped me with the setting. Again, I wanted something very specific that would have to be custom made. He had a guy draw up the plans based on what I described to him. And again, he did an amazing job. The final product ended up being so beautiful and perfect that it literally brought tears to my eyes.Chris couldnt have been better. He really delivered when I needed help the most. He walked me through every step of the process and put into reality the vision of the ring I had that would symbolize everything my now fiancé means to me. Needless to say that she loved it.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!First off Im a Fort Worth Native and TCU Alum and live in the area. Ive been in this place a few times and they are ALWAYS rude and snooty. Not to mention they are in my experience very over priced.FOR EXAMPLE: I was in there looking at a pair of $1200 earrings for my wife to compliment the watch I had bought her for Christmas at a different store. I had the watch with me and asked if they could remove a link from my wifes watch and a link from the watch she bought me. So 2 watches 2 links and buy 1200 earrings.The woman told me that they charge $15 per watch to remove a link but that they could give me a dollar off since I had 2 watches. Really? What happened to jewlers doing something quick and simple like removing a link for free. I wouldnt have cared if she said like ok its 5 bucks but $15 per watch and 1 dollar off! It was more insulting than anything especially since I was there to purchase expensive earrings!! She prob didnt even make 15/per hour and its maybe 5 mins worth of work.On top of all that the woman had the arrogance to look at my watch and say something to the effect of Oh Ive never even heard of this brand like it was beneath her to remove links from anything but a Rolex. I was so annoyed with this superior attitude that I said to her here never mind about the watches and you can put the earrings back, Ill go purchase some from another store, have a nice day.Coincidentally, part of this incident was my fault. As I got the same attitude from this store one year ago when shopping for my fiances engagement ring. I swore I would never go back, my mistake. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.I hope this helped save you some frustration. God Bless
