Best customer service. Forbusco is a relaxing and great place to shop at for hardware or lumber needs. Fun to watch them print and staple receipts together at the end of your purchase.

High prices like every where else, but friendly and helpfull.

Im a retired General Contractor who just bought a house in Fortuna. I came here for a small piece of wood for my mailbox. Gina the customer service rep behind the counter was rude seems she didnt have the time to even listen to what I needed. I was going ask about lumber prices for 275 of fence I need to build as well as my home improvements. I refuse to do business with bad attitudes. Ill take my business to Eureka.

I get the feeling that these guys like the family feel of the customers and interaction with them. They have a lot of things in stock and what they dont have they can order quickly usually.

My husband went in to get wood for the bottom of a new mailbox to attach it to the standing post. Woman at register was very rude and nasty!!! Im told her name is Gina by customers at Ace who heard us complain and agreed with us!We will make the drive to Eureka to go to PIERSONs LUMBER from now on. And we will be making large $ purchase for our new home!! Weve given this place a chance, been there several times and dealt with bad attitude. No more chances!! NOT GOING BACK!!!!

They have replaced Home Depot for me because Home Depot is to far away

The service here was excellent. Even though I only had a few large items to load( which at most places I would be expected to load myself) I was greeted by a worker named Marc with the biggest smile who was happy to do the loading for me even though it was pouring down rain. After he finished I offered him a tip to which he declined with a smile and said that if anything I could just recommend forbusco lumber others.

Very expensive, $ 31 for one 2x6 12 foot .plus tax.

Customer service is horrible unless you are a contractor or regular and over priced.They say buy local but alot of items are 30 - 50% more then a big box stores. I dont mind paying a little more but with the customer service you get here I get better service and cheaper prices at the big box.

Theyre not very polite and dont have everything youd need from a real hardware store. Need hardware go to Ace down the street. Need a good deal on lumber might as well drive in to Eureka. The employees are much more helpful at either place.

Forbusco had everything i neeeded for my renovation. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. Marc was particularly helpful and seemed to go out of his way to help make sure i got all that i needed for my project.

I have been coming to forbusco for years. That being said, i dont know if they changed ownership or management but the place has really cleaned up. The lumber yard is much more orderly and there is no longer weeds and trash throughout the stacks. It seems they are taking more pride in their business.

I needed buy 20 feet of 2 inch PVC pipe along with a bunch of fittings. I placed my order and the lady at the desk asked if I wanted the pipe cut in half to make it easier to transport. Since I hadnt put the lumber rack on my truck that was a huge plus. What really impressed me though was that they are taking the Covid safety seriously. They have a prominent sign saying that everybody has to wear a mask. They had free masks for anybody who didnt bring their own and even a wall mounted hand sanitizer dispenser. In addition they are open from 7:30 to 5:30. Some stores have reduced their hours but not Forbusco. They will be getting my business from now on.

Everyone that I have dealt with has been very helpful. Mark went out of his way to make sure that I got what I was searching for since they did not have the length that I needed.

Confusing setup in the store

Cant say anything good about this place. Prices are way higher than other hardware/ lumber stores. Some of the employees are rude especially over the phone. Good luck trying to pay for something I stood in line holding my products and my card waiting to pay and they just kept helping other people just walking in the door. I will never spend another dollar here.

This place was truly a horrible experience. The guy with all grey hair gave me the biggest attitude when I was trying to simply explain. My self. I will never go back to this place as long as this guy is still there. It has happened on more than one occasion. Really bad customer service on his part. Not sure his name but mainly two guys I delt with are not nice people.

Sold me $800 worth of tool without adding nor asking if I needed the necessary $3 pieces for the tools.a and still expecting a tip for walking up to the car with me with only two boxes.
