The sales people at this store use manipulation tactics to get you to buy a case, screen saver and charger. It’s super annoying. They charge like $75 for a screen saver! Over priced for everything then supposedly give you $15 off the entire package. (still a total rip off). We asked the sales guy twice how much the items were but he would not answer. The entire vibe at Verizon is swindle as much money as you can at every opportunity. It’s just nauseating.

Walked into Verizon very hesitant because I have been with sprint for as long as I have had a cell phone, but as soon I walked in I was greeted by both Pavly and Jacob. They were informative but at the same time they didnt waste hours of my day. I wasnt entirely sure really what I needed and what would be best for me and my budget with other needs but they were quick to assist and place me in the right direction.I 100% recommend them for anyone needing to switch or just needing help in exactly seeing what they need!No scams, very professional, informative, great recommendations!Go see Pavly and/or Jacob, you will be in good hands!

This review is for service given on 3/5/2021. This store’s customer Service used to be a joke but new management now is EXCELLENT!My wife upgraded her phone with a trade-in online/over the phone and had to call TWICE and they still couldn’t get it right for some reason. The reps were super nice but didn’t process it correctly.If you need an upgrade or anything, I would say, save yourself the time and come to THIS store. Jacob (store Manager) fixed the issue in 20 mins in n out the store! We got our trade in credit, no fuss, super friendly, FAST, and no sales pressure.I am DEFINITELY coming back for my upgrade when it’s time. Thanks for the help!

Despite several customers in the store ahead of me, each was assisted quickly and competently. My wait time was minimal. My issue was resolved just as quickly and the solution was provided in store. I have used this Verizon store several times before and always have had a similar experiences.

Let me preface by saying this is my first time writing a negative review, in all my experiences good or bad, I have never been bothered enough but this time its different.I came in store to upgrade my phone, since Verizon had a promotion to trade in for ~$400 credit. A nice sales rep helped me order my phone to the store to pick up- no problem there.I come in a few days later to pick up the phone I ordered, I bring with me my OWN phone accessories (screen protector and phone case). Sales rep Jeff is the one who helps me out. He gets my new phone from the back and grabs a bunch of merchandise (screen protector, charger block, and phone case) and explains to me its included in the price. I told him I brought my own and he insists its included in the price- he then replaces the phone case he initially grabbed for an item called liquid glass. Again, I reiterate I didnt need anything as I had brought my own. Confused I leave it alone as my phone needed its data transferred and this conversation is going nowhere. I come back after 30-40 minutes and he still has the phone accessories up front. As I am being ringed out I ask if I NEED the accessories in order to get the promotion to which he responds-yes. He tells me the total is about ~250 and again I ask what I am being charged for which he answers the price includes the in store service fee and phone sales tax.I return home and to my surprise check my emailed receipt and see that he has charged me for all accessories. I call Verizon and Victra customer support and explain to them the situation and ask if I needed the accessories in order to qualify for the promotion. They were all shocked to hear what had happened since buying accessories were NEVER needed for the promotion. They urged me to go speak with the manager and get a full refund.I call ahead to make sure I come instore when the manager is on duty. Jacob, the manager, was not accommodating AT ALL. I explain what just happened and he offers to return and refund the charger block but the most he can do for the other two items is merchandise credit. He asks if I wanted a speaker or another unnecessary accessory. If I came to return items that I never needed in the first place why would I spend it on more items that I do NOT need. He explains that company policy does not allow them to refund the screen protector or liquid glass. RESPECTFULLY, that is not my problem. I was sold these items under false pretenses and lied to. He tells me the customer rep Jeff did not lie and that I probably misunderstood. How can I misunderstand when I was lied to? How can I misunderstand after I asked multiple questions in multiple ways? I left upset and humiliated.I contacted Verizon customer care again and they directed me to go to a second Victra location in Huntington Beach. The manager there was understanding and asked if I was told that both the screen protector and liquid glass were non refundable at time of purchase. Surprise- Jeff had NOT disclosed this information with me. Manager Jacob did not mention that this information should have been disclosed at time of purchase. Manager at Huntington contacted his District Manager and he was able to refund me the screen protector but could not refund me the liquid glass.I am still in need of a refund for the liquid glass and now the instore service fee as this has caused way more problems than necessary. This was my first time ever ordering from Victra and will be my last.So in summary I was LIED to, GASLIT, and caused EMOTIONAL DISTRESS. I have been bounced around as no one can seem to full resolve this or admit to any wrongdoing. Ill be filing a complaint with the California Attorney General as they deal with consumer protections and affairs.

Long story short, I purchased a phone out of state and realized I was sold the wrong phone. I called the verizon store in Fountain Valley and spoke to Jake. Jake was very understanding and professional. He had me come into the store so he could look at my account and answer all my questions. He then helped me return the phone and enabled me to get the phone I wanted. Prior to calling the FV store I walked into another Verizon store where the associate tried to talk me out of returing the phone I did not want and told me I would be charged $100. I was able to return the phone at the FV store for the standard restocking fee of $35.

NOT an actual Verizon store, a re-seller. They scammed me twice! Year and a half later and still paying for a tablet they scammed me on when I came in for a SIM card ($20) telling me I could get a whole new tablet WITH a SIM card for $20 on promotion! No extra fees! Great timing! When in reality they signed me up for a third unneeded phone line and added an additional tablet I didnt need in the first place. They kept my perfectly fine original tablet (was still in box b/c I didnt have a SIM!) on top of it, and I havent been able to get it off my bill even though that phone line and tablet havent been used in a year and a half. Shouldnt figured something was fishy when they said to come back in with my bill if I was charged a $50 activation fee and theyd credit me back the fee. Which I was and I did get the credit and it felt shady in the whole way it was handled. All the time still not knowing or being told I would have a TWO YEAR additional $10 fee ($240) instead of the $20 SIM card I went in for.Other scam I uncovered while dealing w/ the tablet scam came from when I originally went in b/c my phone had stop charging (of course it was right after the warranty had ended) and I wanted the lowest cost phone. They said the old model galaxy was on promo Id get a rebate card in the mail and the phone would be free! I got the rebate card in the mail but found out over 6 months later Id been paying an additional $20 a month for the free phone Called Verizon and they said the phone was not free and Id been paying the normal price the whole time. All the way around Ive wasted countless hours on the phone w/ Verizon customer services and trying to communicate with this store and lost hundreds of dollars. If you buy from here go over EVERY line of the agreement with them before you buy or sign anything, or even better go to an actual Verizon store that will take excellent care of you.

Horrible customer service. Parents tried to get clarification on a bill increase bill and the guy couldn’t give a specific answer, only guesses. When they tried to seek clarification, he was extremely rude and had an attitude. He was more concerned about making a bundle sale. I looked at their bill after they left and it took me one minute to see a military credit wasn’t given this month by mistake. We called Verizon customer service and they took care of the issue. Highly wouldn’t recommend dealing with this store.

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS STORE!! They will scam you... my family got charged hundreds of dollars for items and/or upgrades they were told were given to them. Additional line were added to their account without being requested or disclosed. Their monthly bill skyrocketed by the hundreds and they refused to refund anything after being made aware of their issue. They are pathetically beyond rude and unprofessional. I went in there with a question about my phone.The millennial with the earplugs kept pushing me to upgrade to a new phone.When I told him for the third time that I was not interested, he told me that I would have to go to a store in Irvine for technical support, as such matters were not handled at his store.Whenever I tried to pay my bill in cash the salespeople would tell me that I had to pay a fee for that.Finally I went to the another location to cancel my account and they told me that Verizon had no such fee policy.I have been with MetroPCS now for several months and they are great. No pushy salespeople or hustling..

Ive had nothing but problems at this store they set my iPad up incorrectly they lost lots of Photos contacts etc promise to give me free things in charge me promise to give me discounts on covers and charged me again if you want to come to this place you better make sure you check your invoice and read it very very well because they change a lot of things and when you call on it they hung they hang up on you I do not recommend ever going to this place you should go to the Verizon on Heil and beach cause that is a company store and this will not happen there I have dealt with Vaughn Jacob and Maria and have nothing but lies over and over again with Jacob being rude and hanging up after I asked about discounts on the covers Maria promised were supposed to be 20dollars and 35 not 44.99 twice..Jacob told me because I got other discount I didnt deserve to get the discount agreed on with Maria and hung up on me

These guys are nothing but a bunch of scammers. They took advantage of my senior parents, added lines that were not requested, gave them services they didnt ask for, told my parents that they were giving these things to them, sold them overpriced accessories that were not needed, and that their over all bill would be lower, in actuality their bill more than doubled. I contacted Verizon corporate (this store is not a Verizon store, but an authorized dealer) and they were wonderful and corrected the account. I then went down down to the store with my father to return the unnecessary items to get a refund. The person who helped my parents didnt own up to cheating my parents and said that their must have been a misunderstanding; the misunderstanding was my parents thought he was a decent human. I tried to explain to this man that my father has been very ill and he took advantage of that he replied with a snarky tone, We all have our problems. At one point he refused to give us a refund for the items we were returning because he didnt like my attitude and threatened to cal the police. I told him, go ahead; Ill explain how you wont make a return on products we are legally trying to return and Ill explain how you took advantage of my senior parents. I have since contacted our attorney and reported this store to Verizon corporate. The people in this store are dishonest and take advantage of those without technical knowledge. HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE SERVICE. STAY AWAY FROM TIOS PLACE. BEWARE! THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE!!!!

Don’t even go near this place unless you like getting scammed big time......these guys made our bill gofrom $320.00. to 720. 00 and back down to $520.00 after we had to buy out phones plus two other charges.She said we had so many updates coming that they resulted in new equipment......and that with new equipment and their new prices our bill would actually go down, not. We went down three times, nothing is like they said.........stay away from this store...they are real scammers......they had answers for everything.

Not a good store. I should have read the reviews first and gone elsewhere. I upgraded my phone and jetpack and was told there would be no upgrade fees for either device, and specifically said I did not want total mobile protection for either device. Looks like that never happened, so now I have to clear that with Verizon billing. I worked with someone by the name of Vaughn.

I have definitely had some bad experiences with Verizon customer service and have even left Verizon once but came back due to their exceptional phone service. It looks like this place has had some bad reviews in the past but is trying hard to redeem itself with some new staff. I have never had better customer service at this location personally and was helped by a gentleman named Justin who made it very painless and I would highly recommend dealing with him. I will be taking all my verizon needs to him from now on

Ive been here 3 times and today was the last time I will ever do business here. The greasy meatball with a perm that manages this place is a rude, argumentative waste of oxygen that would be better suited cleaning jobsite porta pottys. I went for a simple screen protector for my s10 plus. The factory installed Screen Protector was pretty scratched up. Mario brothers disabled twin began by telling me its not a screen protector, funny since Verizon says otherwise. He says it only protects from scratches I get it, education isnt for everyone. I explain that I am looking for a film protector, not tempered glass or liquid. He then adamantly insists that no such thing exists for my phone. A 10 second google search proves otherwise with multiple products. Of course king koopa immediately discredits all other options and says they wont work, probably because they dont sell them. Then Im told the glass protector is 55 dollars before tax. Needless to say, I wont be returning unless Meatball wants to apologize and shine my shoes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!

Beware. Victra is not a Verizon Wireless corporate store. They can scam you in to buying unwanted accessories and contracts with very little oversight from Verizon Wireless. Good luck if you want to try to return something... Search for Verizon Wireless and avoid Authorized Retailers.

Gave me the wrong size phone (specifically asked for a 128gb,was given a 32gb) I wasted a week and a GB of data reinstalling everything and backing up my photos. They told me they would credit our account a GB because it was their issue, and they never did. Weve been throttled on data for two weeks now until our billing cycle date comes for no fault of our own. When I went in to try to get the right size phone, they sent me away because their manager wasnt there and the kid didnt know how to handle the processing for the switch. Took 5 days after they actually got the phone in to get it fixed. Not happy about either experience I had going in.

Beware!!!! My elderly mother went to this store to get help with operating her phone and he tricked her into changing the PIN for my Verizon account of which I am the account manager. I got a text telling me my PIN was changed and if I didnt make change notify Verizon, which I did.On a previous occasion they sold my mother a phone telling her it was a free upgrade. She went in because her phone was not working and they told her since they couldnt fix, they would give her the phone as a replacement at no charge. The phone of course was not free and my bill is reflecting the monthly charges.I have reported this business.
