Stone Inc is a great company. I was a bit hesitant because the ratings were not ideal. However they were an amazing one stop shop for my countertops and backsplash. Christine was amazing to work with. The #1 thing I value is communication. Jobs always have an issue or delay - thats fine, its reasonable to expect them. However, I want to be made aware of any issues. That said, there was minimal disruption and HIGH quality installation. I am VERY pleased with the work that they did. I will be using them again in the future without question.

Stone Inc always pulled through when materials were needed even during crisis time during projects. The owner Marc is excellent to work with! Very friendly and knowledgeable!

We recently updated our house, including the kitchen and bathrooms. I visited Stone Inc in Framingham to explore types and patterns of countertops. I was so lucky to work with Christine Defazio in coordinating the colors for my kitchen and bathrooms. Christine has an excellent eye for bringing all of the pieces together! She patiently listened to my preferences and questions, tried various tile and granite samples, and she immediately found the best fit for my kitchen! Similarly, she matched a beautiful quartz soapstone for my bathrooms! I couldn’t be happier with the choices!Throughout the whole process of selection, ordering, measuring, and installing, Christine stayed in contact to be sure of my satisfaction. I felt confident that we had chosen a professional, competent, and responsive company to do the work. I highly recommend Stone Inc as an option for your countertop needs!

Stone was on time, under budget and flexible. We used them to replace our kitchen island and we could not be happier with their service.

Stone Inc. did granite countertops for our bathrooms 5 years ago and they still look great. We just had them do a big job installing granite countertops in our kitchen and sunroom. Christine was always quick to respond to my questions and explained the process thoroughly. The countertops came out great and they did a professional, quality job. There was one incident where the refrigerator handle was damaged when they were moving the refrigerator back into position. Mark was great and ordered a new handle for us right away. I highly recommend them and will be using them to install wall tile for our kitchen too!

I am a designer that has done a lot of business with Stone Inc both for my customers and my own house. The quality is always top of the line, they are always on time and have product that nobody else has. Have used for counter tops, sinks, floors, could not recommend more. Awesome awesome awesome.

Worked with this company before and the owner Mark is a liar and a thief. The people in the showroom are also very rude and don’t really know what they are talking about. Terrible service.

We have been using this company for years and are extremely pleased with their knowledge, selection and service. They have redone all our bathrooms, our kitchen and have done a few other things as well.

The people in the showroom are very rude and mean. They actually made me cry and ruined my excitement at remodeling our bathroom. Apparently our sale wasn’t as profitable as someone who came in after us who was doing a kitchen. They yelled at me for requesting prices on too many samples. I would never go here again.

I first walked into this showroom two years ago while searching for marble or granite for my business, Alicia’s Homemade located in Worcester, Massachusetts. I have to say, I had been to EVERY showroom from Worcester to Framingham and this is where I bought my stone. I looked at so many and just couldn’t find something I liked. The issue was, I had a vision in my head and everywhere I went, other showrooms sales associates tried pushing their selections on me not listeneing to what I wanted or the vision I had for my first retail location. It was a very important piece of my store! I wanted to be taken seriously and not viewed as just another “sale”. The staff at Stone Inc., was beyond patient. I went back several times and they were all helpful, friendly and really listened to what I wanted. Based on my vision they had many options in store and even took me to their warehouse in Marlborough to help with my search!! Needless to say, after many times back and forth, they helped me pick the PERFECT slabs for my new retail location!! I was absolutely elated! When it came time for fabrication, I was able to go to their fabrication shop and film this! What an amazingly talented crew!! From the lead fabricator cutting the slabs on a huge saw, to the guys edging, everyone was friendly, eager to please and had just as much excitement for me and my store as I did being there to see their work!! I’m grateful to the crew that worked overtime to install this on a cold day and so happy with the whole process!! Since purchasing my stone, I have sent many friends and family here and they’ve all been happy with their kitchens/bathrooms as well! Thanks again for having patience with me!! I really love the stone!!

The team at Stone Inc from the time you walk in the showroom right through the installation are terrific. They have some really nice displays in the showroom which make picking something out much easier.

The day my counters were installed, I found out hours after I was expecting them at my home that the blade broke while cutting my counters THAT MORNING. I was the first appointment and my counters were not cut yet? Since install I have been waiting for 3 months for someone to schedule a replacement for a portion of my counter that was cracked at time of install. The granite on my island does not sit flush on the cabinet and while cleaning out my cabinets, I found a piece of wood that had broken off my cabinet when my original counter top was being removed. Nothing was pointed out to me during the install. I have had many email exchanges with a couple of people with no resolution. The owner did not bother to respond to my emails at all. The one star is for their outstanding customer service PRIOR to final payment. One thing they are very good at is taking your money and running. I have read many great reviews for this company so, I am sure when things go well, they are a 5 star company, it is when things dont go as planned that they fail. They do not stand by their work. That is the difference. I do not recommend this company. UPDATE: 1/16/2019 Still no resolution. They chose to ignore the BBBs attempts to resolve and the issue has been escalated to the Attorney Generals Office.UPDATE: 2/14/2109 Once Alicia H. was informed of all that had occurred, positive things started happening. Stone Inc. made good on all of their promises. My understanding is they also made necessary staffing changes after the issues with my counters came to light.

I had awful dealings with Mark Mallegni at his other companies. He stole money from me and refused to return my refundable deposit. Look up his name online and see all the lawsuits against him and the companies he owns. Do not do any business with this crook.
