I wanted to share these pictures of this very awesome and delicious salad. I must say, Mr. Greg Lenox can really show out on this perfectly prepared salad. And at a very fair price. Although, salads are not on our menu, they will be freshly prepared upon request. Believe me, it is very tasty and made from the heart. Thanks Mr Greg for the wonderfully prepared salad. Davis General Store is becoming my favorite go-to weekend spots for sandwiches, sweet rolls, and breakfast for lunch. Its not just the food, its the whole experience. The drive to Boston, TN is through some beautiful country and I love hanging out with locals and travelers at the picnic tables. Great dining experience all around.

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Greg and Lisa the night before, and we are so grateful we did! The food was DELICIOUS, and the company even better. Everyone is incredibly kind. We will be back soon! 😉

As a Nashville native, this is one of the best local food stops in Leiper’s Fork. Every sandwich on the menu is amazing, and the hot dogs are definitely a favorite. We discovered The Davis General a few months ago, and it is now a regular visit for us. The owners are friendly, kind, and helpful. It’s become one of our favorite food joints, and we have a great experience every time we go back. Make sure to try the Reuben, the fried bologna sandwich, the chicken salad, and the hot dogs!

Best store around, feels nostalgic and like home. Great sandwiches to pack out for a picnic on the Trace. Surrounded by beautiful farm land. Friendly welcome environment. Awesome coffee! If you’re craving an old fashioned root beer or a black cherry soda pop, some atomic fireballs, & some sugar babies this is your place.

Wow what an interesting place. My Wife and I enjoyed the Cuban and the Boston Roast Beef sandwiches. They we delicious with a generous amount of meat and toppingsWe’re from Bellevue area but we’ll be back to enjoy the food again!

A great variety of sandwiches. The yummy butter-grilled bread is always filled with your choice of meats and veggies. Delicious!Their breakfast menu is also very good. The owners and staff are very friendly. The laid back atmosphere is inviting and refreshing.

Excellent sandwiches, freshly made, excellent ham sandwich with horseradish, lettuce and tomatoes. Also serves breakfast though I only had a lunch sandwich. Friendly fast service!

Truly a hidden gem in our little community, serving up breakfast, grilled sandwiches and a selection of retro products you cant find in most stores anymore. They also have a little bit of everything from bar & chain oil to TP. They also serve darn good coffee. Try the Reuben or the spicy Cuban, you wont regret it!

This is a gem in the middle of leipers fork. Greg is an incredible proprietor and the most hospitable man in town. Stop in and see him for a good conversation and some delicious food :) of I could give it 6 stars I would.

Theres almost nothing open in Leipers Fork Monday & Tuesday (except realtors office & Props Antique shop- great shop, btw).Theres a gas station store just out of town- and about 4 miles further is Davis General Store. What a find! The food is great, portions big. I should have asked for a doggie bag- but I couldnt stop eating!! Turkey melt- to die for, cheese steak incredible (daughters choice) and Reuben outstanding (husbands favorite). He & I went back today for omelettes....sigh....80)....We were stuffed, but split a cinnamon roll anyway- to die for. Three people came in for rolls while we were waiting.

Great family owned place, we stumbled upon this location by accident. We did a motorcycle ride for falling fire fighter Mitchell Earwood, Spring Hill, Tennessee. The folks there are super friendly and the food we had for lunch was oh-so-delicious! Do yourself a favor and stop by for a great sandwich!! They definitely are not skimpy on the size of their sandwiches, either!

Great little general store that just reopened. They make fresh sandwiches both hot and cold. The interior is all redone and very nice. The young lady working the register was very kind to our cycling group. We will definitely make this a frequent stop.

Nice idea but average food. Cooks need to read your order when you ask for no mustard and no mayo. Only two tables indoors. Smoke from the griddle wafted through the entire store; if you like that sort of thing (no vent hood to the outside for the griddle). Lots of potential in this little place but the quality was lacking today. Overall--average.

This is the best Reuben in the Country. Id come back to TN just got this.

What a wonderful surprise! We found our new cravings....a sandwich. Yes I said sandwich. The place makes a sandwich you will crave. I wish I could say which one is my favorite but I’m still trying them all out. It’s a little out of the way but I promise you will love the food and the owners are friendly and fun.

Had to five star because of the hospitality and amazing quality of food here the staff made me feel like i was part of thier family .Thier food is without a doubt the best food Ive had in Tennessee, period . I live all the way in hendersonville so the drive i make to come here is a statement in itself . Dont think about, just go there and get thier hot Philly or Taylors turkey sandwhich . The BEST breakfast in Tennessee! The biscuits are better than my Mama’s! Even she says so! They are airy light fluffy and huge. The owners are the nicest people you could ever imagine meeting.

They have really good sandwiches. The sandwiches are cooked right there in front of you. The sandwiches are really big too. I am pretty sure my girlfriend and I could have split a sandwich. You get a lot for your money in both quality and quantity. They cook breakfast biscuits in front of you as well so they are really good as well.

This store reopened, with new owners and Over the months since the grand reopening they have inconsistent hours of operations- changing often without warning customers who make the drive there...and not even opening at for several days but an occasional one of few then closed, basically never know when they’re open so its safer bet just to give the Leipers Fork Market your business.I know they recently have place it up for sale again, probably because they have not had much success but seems poor management might have doomed the reason.I went to buy a few snacks several of which were expired or close to date. There needs to be a change for success. I would love to see this place flourish. But reliability is very important.I could absolutely see this place as a small eatery type restaurant more than the grocery end. It has great potential.

This experience was cherishable because Ive never been to this facility ever and I ate one of the best turkey sandwiches in the world the lady here treated me with respect and broke it down on how I wanted that sandwich excetera the authenticity of the service is impeccable I would recommend this place as a place to stop and drop and eat any day of the week
