Ive heard great things about this place and finally decided to try it out! I had the Cafe Orleans, which was brewed to perfection and was just the right amount of sweet. I also had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant, which was just the right pick-me-up. Service was quick, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Tasty bagels and coffee. Lots of options for food and drinks. Fast service. Pleasant staff. They ran out of bagels around 11:30AM, but I guess that’s to be expected. I’d still come here again.

This place feels like it’s locked in time! Family-run breakfast/lunch shop with great coffee and a need to please. The grilled chocolate muffins and the jalapeño everything bagels are incredible. If you want a coffee with extra kick ask for a red-eye!

Great little bagel spot in Frederick. Staff was extremely friendly and the food and drinks came out fast. Basically inhaled the bagel or I would have posted a picture. The lox bagel on the Asiago bagel crushed it. I know, I know, I didnt get the everything bagel but I will be coming back to get it next week.

This place is awesome! Idk what else to say. Come here, have a bagel, enjoy. Never had a bad experience and prices are more than fair. I think the owner works the counter most days and he is a very nice guy.

I stayed in Frederick last year for a few days and went to Beans & Bagels everyday. I just drove a 2 hour roundtrip go again, and it was awesome, as usual. I had the iced mocha mint and a platter with one egg, sausage, and home fries - absolutely delicious.

Place is over rated for food quality and service.... its good but not 5 star good.... service was very slow.... no doubt place is very crowded during breakfast but taste and service could be lot better. We ordered platter (egg bacon and fries) and veggies omlete both could be lot better. Price are reasonable

Asked for a mocha, recieved some chocolate milk with a touch of coffee hybrid made with Hersheys syrup. Asked for a frozen coffee, recieved some sort of terrible chipped ice concoction with a splash of coffee. Both were soon thrown out and coffee purchased nearby. Highly suggest you skip the first part and just start by getting coffee elsewhere.

Moving to the area end of last summer made me crave a solid bagel choice once things started to open up for the weekly weekend jaunt. Rich and his crew do it right with a focus on solid bagels and lots of choices.Cant wait to be back to try full breakfast, breakfast sandwiches and their coffee selections.Must stop for Steelers fans.

This is the place to go for your downtown living breakfast/brunch/lunch. The service staff are very courteous and friendly. The food is great, no complaints. The decor of the place is hip for a small quaint restaurant. I didn’t have to wait long at all for my order. Prices are reasonable and I will definitely be frequenting Beans and Bagels.

Worst breakfast shop experience Ive ever had. The coffee was cold and very weak. It took 15 minutes just to get a toasted bagel with cream cheese. The staff was rude and unpleasant. I will never go back there

Grabbed breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Coffee was good. Food was decent, given the price, but nothing special. Hope youre a Steelers fan given the amount of memorabilia on the walls and shelves!

My grandson and I have made this our breakfast spot for three years and it’s where he requested to go today on his 6th birthday. He loves Mr Greg, who was kind enough to provide one of their amazing chocolate muffins and a candle to celebrate. Bagels are great and the chicken salad is out of this world. They offer different flavored coffee, lattes, etc. which never disappoint. The place has a warm and inviting feel and where people go to eat a good bagel and catch up. My only negative is that the tables and chairs could use a good cleaning.

I was in a hurry and I decided to get a caramel cafe latte which was delicious and strong (just how every coffee place should be!). The coffees was cute too which is a plus! I did not eat here but it seems like it’s a great breakfast cafe to eat at so five stars!

We love this place. We have yet to have a bad coffee, bagel or meal. We never have a long wait either. I have tried other bagel places and none of them can beat Beans & Bagels.

A downtown staple. The service is always great and fast. You may be in a hurry and B&B will be there to provide for you. In a city quickly becoming gentrified and seeing a huge increase in price B&B is there to offer one of the few reasonably priced meals in downtown Frederick without sacrificing quality. Ive been coming here for years and hope to come for many more. Keep up the good work.Also to the lady that bought me a meal that one day when I was extremely hungover and forgot I was completely broke, thanks again.

This place has great bagels (coming from someone who lived in NYC!) and wonderful service. We recently moved to the area and they have adapted to the pandemic phenomenally. We love them!

Went for the first time today at 11am. Ive never had such an experience in a store in Frederick. Walked in, the guy in front of me took one look at me and started going on an anti-mask rant and being like Whoops, didnt mean to say that. :) I get that you cant control customers but then the cashier let this group of 30yo men back into the closed dining room to eat inside. (I think the cashier said something like The Owner Isnt Here...?) So they were clearly friends. I was going to get a bagel with my coffee but all I wanted to do was get the heck out of there. Ive told everyone I know not to come here and dont support this business. Wish I could have had the same experience everyone else had in the reviews. A shame.

There is no better spot in town for breakfast. My wife and I do crosswords in the morning and Rich always has a pencil ready for us as he takes our order. I always get the sausage, egg, and cheese wrap with a delicious dark roast coffee. The environment is great. When the weather is nice, you can’t beat the outdoor seating. Get in here early because everyone else in town knows how great this spot is too.

A delicious way to start the day. Im a everything with jalapeño cream cheese guy, and the Beans & Bagels jalapeño everything bagel with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese blew my mind. How have I never had that before? My wife also thoroughly enjoyed a french toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and a café mocha mint. Well definitely be back for more.

We were on our way to go hiking and decided to stop here and get some breakfast. We all got some breakfast sandwiches and they were great!! The bagels werent heavy like some places, and the sandwiches were fresh. One of the employees also took the time to get a treat for our dog!!

Ive only had the coffee from here and it was average as far as taste goes. I ordered the iced caramel latte and it was very sweet, even for my liking.

Located in the historic shopping area across from parking garage, Carrolls Creek, paid $1 to park and walk across street. Recommended by a acquantance. Quaint, appeared to be retiree run. Had a turkey sandwich on bagel. The bagel was good, not chewy more bread like. I would have liked more sprinkle topping on the everything bagel. Sandwich was made to order, quantity of meat good as was taste, crisp lettuce and flavorful cc. Staff were pleasant. I will not go out of the way again to visit as the bagel was mediocre due to lack of topping, paid parking and having to use crosswalks for access.

This place has been around for years but never disappoints. Straight up honest breakfast options and good coffee. During the week you can grab something on the run and during the weekend sit down to get your day started.

Ordered a batch of bagels in advance for the office. They were ready at 7AM sharp, and .. I gotta say, these are some tasty bagels. Perfectly baked, very flavorful, and they didnt skimp on ingredients!The next time its my turn to buy bagels again, Im sure to come back. You should too!

This gem in Frederick is an absolute delight. Their specialty hot/cold beverage list overflows with creative combinations; if your inner child loves rainbow sprinkles, rejoice! You can ask for them on any beverage.The food options are affordable and made in-house. Try the Crab Bisque if you can get to it before the season ends. Stop by on a weekend for nostalgic breakfast platters made to order, but remember: they close early on Sundays.

The food is good, but about 90% of the time I order to carry out here they get something wrong on my order. Whether its a white bagel when I asked for wheat, I ask for sprouts on my sandwich (and I assume Im charged for them) and they arent there, or they forget the onions.The last time I paid nearly $9 for a chicken salad sandwich on a bagel and there was hardly any chicken salad. Please work on your consistency and detail. Until that improves, not spending my money here.

Solid place to grab breakfast and coffee. Have had omelettes and breakfast sandwiches here, both are satisfying without being exceptional. Likewise for the coffee. Service and atmosphere are both very friendly. Relative to the nearby coffee shops Id say that the prices are slightly better here and the menu has more options, but theres no stand out item that really draws me here either.

Go here just about every weekend for breakfast. The whole staff is cool, easy going. They make really good food, and their namesake items are particularly delicious. Definitely will continue to consume here.

I bought my coffee beans from here and they were roasted well. Very good beans. Bagels looked amazing and everyone in line was talking about the egg everything. Next time I go back Ill have to check the sandwiches out. But the owner was very nice and knowledgable. Looks like a family run store, which I always like to see.

Also tried my mothers bagel the everything bagel with lox spread and it was really yummy. Nice area outside to sit and have your breakfast. Wonderful little eatery. Will be back whenever we come back to visit.
