I discovered ZiPani kind of by accident but I am glad I did. Their coffee is delicious and they make REAL bagels, not those big bread donuts that many places carry. There are a lot of interesting other items on the menu and I look forward to coming back to try them.

I loved Zipani when they were on Ballenger - they had the BEST bagels (was they way BBs made them originally). Sadly I had to move away and have made two trips specifically to get bagels now that they are only at TJ Drive now, most recently this past Friday. Something changed with bagels. They are now dry tasting, like they have been frozen previously and heated up. I was so disappointed because cheddar bagels were my favorite. Bring back BBs fresh recipe.

I have been to this place three different times as a new customer and every time it has been wonderful the owner is friendly the coworkers are friendly and food is fresh taste full and just amazing. Decent bagels, maybe the best in the county. Fast service with online ordering. This place is always clean and seems to be a regular spot for many of the medical professionals along TJ drive.

The service was perfect and 5he food even better. I like the cheddar bagel better than the adagio cheese. Its great toasted with tuna or BLT just as yummy. The bagel chips are so crunchy. if some of the tuna falls out because they give a generous portion, the chips are great for scooping And pickle chips round it out. Their coffee is fresh and hot.

This place is great, a long time staple of frederick. The turkey and herb sandwich is one of my favorite things.

I used to do a lot of traveling and I can say with confidence that ZiPani makes the very best Pumpernickel bagels in the country. How wonderful that we get to have them right here in Frederick, MD. Staff is very friendly, covid-19 conscious, and they make great sandwiched and hot drinks as well. I cant go wrong with this team.

I cant get over how bad the management is. Employees can never get my order right. It take up to 20 tries to get through to them on the phone. Then they put you on hold for 30 minutes. As im typing this, Ive been on hold for 24 minutes. Ive been a long time customer, but Im finished. Ive had waaaayy to many bad experiences. Food is good when/ if they get it right.

Food quality has gone downhill. Ive ate there twice in the past month and was not impressed by the food. Lettuce on sandwich was wilted, hardly any bacon on the blt and not crispy, turkey didnt seem fresh either. Customer service was good though. The lady working the counter seemed overwhelmed but still very pleasant.

Stopped by on our way out of town after a visit with family and friends.Easy access to ZiPani. A large menu from bagel sandwiches to wraps.Eggs, veggies and salmon just to name a few choices.Take out or have a seat at one of the several tables. You will enjoy your meal.The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Favorite bagels in Frederick!

Definitely the best bagels in Frederick, and I am originally from New York. Coffee is great as well. They have a variety of sandwiches and soups. Nice outdoor seating when weather is good. I come here at least once a week for breakfast.

My roast beef on an everything bagel was delicious and this made a great place to meet my son to have lunch.

Ive been coming to ZiPani for over 10 years. Im not sure what the problem has been lately, but the last 7 times Ive come in they CANT get my order correct. At this point, I wont be back. I order a bagel with bacon, sausage, cheese, and cream cheese. For some reason they cant get that right. Everytime Im fed some excuse. Management needs to figure out how to take an order correctly and then make it. Shouldnt be hard.

As someone who was raised in New York, these bagels are as close to a good bagel as you can get in Frederick MD.

Was asked by the manager at least 3 times did i get everything I ordered and was it my satisfaction. Yes, although I ordered two simple things a bagel toasted with butter and an iced coffee. The bagel was ready before the coffee, as I was asked at the last minute the type of coffee I wanted. So, I had to wait until the coffee I wanted, regular blend, had brewed. The bagel was still warm and delicious and the coffee was cool enough to satisfy my request. Overall, it was satisfying and I would go back, even with their short comings.

Very nice atmosphere. I would just prefer my order to come out faster. Service was a bit slower than I expected but other than that good job.

Best bagels for Maryland and I love their coffee. Plus have a decent beer selection if going later in the day and while I havent had it, friends have spoken highly if their pizza. Worth stopping in for sure.

Good selection of coffee, specialty drinks, bagels and lots of other goodies. I like that its not super crowded so its great for meeting up with friends or business associates and being able to hear each other. Good location off of Thomas Johnson drive too.

Terrible I cannot believe the experience I had there was nobody there And when somebody came out it was an older who appears to be the boss without a mask and gloves also fully yelling at the female employees for cleaning the table

Stopped in for breakfast. I ordered the Southwestern bagel for breakfast. It was very good. The coffee is great too.

Just meh overall. Place was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. Staff seemed a little annoyed. Latte machine down (not really a biggie, but it is a COFFEE joint). No equal sugar available! Toasted Bagel was lukewarm. Good selection of breakfast options. Better than your standard carry-out joint, but not quite sure if we should have bypassed Panera to bring our business to this local joint.

Good lunch menu and great bagel selection. Interior dark paint can get depressing, but people are nice and you can open your laptop and work over an ice tea and a bagel.

Staff was extremely friendly and even though they were closing theydidnt rush us or make us feel unwelcome. Service was fast. When they didnt have the coffee i wanted they made me a fresh pot. Selection of food is ok. Quality of food is quite good. It was clean, not crowded and not too noisy.I recommend and will be back.

Been here hundreds of times for bagels and coffee. Undoubtedly the best bagels in Frederick, at either location. The bistro is also a nice addition for the always friendly staff to continue their generous accommodations. Must go!

Wish you could buy a place in Middletown. It would be great, great idea and location. Main Cup is awesome for dinner and lunch, however breakfast isnt an option nor is quick bites. Would also love the oven pizza idea.

I met here with siblings for breakfast a few times over the past several months and without fail something is always wrong with the order. The most recent visit resulted in 3 out of the 4 sandwiches being made wrong...bagels not being toasted when it was asked that they be toasted, ingredients missing from a sandwich, wrong ingredients on a sandwich, etc. For crying out loud, Im asking that you build a sandwich, not a nuclear reactor. Its not that hard.

After standing at the counter for more than 7 minutes and being ignored (there seemed to be more staff than customers waiting), I left.However, I then drove to the other ZiPani location on Ballenger Creek, because I wanted their bagels. The staff at Ballenger Creek is efficient and nice!

Food is good. But pricey. I must laugh when people keep saying its good service. Service is awful. They are slow and very snooty stuck up girls behind the counter. And the health department should pay them a visit, these girls with their hair flopping all over the counter and reaching over food without a hair net, i would be surprised if hair wasnt found in half the sandwiches being made

No waiting. Fantastic food. I had a seared tuna steak sandwich. The tuna steak was at least 2 inches thick. Amazing

I just finished eating at Z. in Frederick. I had their hamburger & fries- the fancy Bistro. The service woman was as dour and depressing as the food. The hamburger stank as if it was rotten. Save your money. Now I know why the entire time I was there the only customers that came in were asking for coffee, so I guess at least their coffee is good.

Zi Pani is a really cute little cafe, theyve got good cheap bagels and a decent selection of coffee and other drinks. If youre looking for an actual meal though? Wouldnt recommend this place; small selection thats pretty pricey in my opinion.

They have very good wood-fired pizza. The service is a little slow not first class but ok. The beer selection is ok but could be better. The hours are also hit and miss. Ive gone over there a few times and they are closed. So always check the website or google maps if you want to make sure they are open. My wife has had a few of their sandwiches (even gluten free) and enjoyed them too. It has never been crowded...so it is a nice place to sit and talk.It might be the only place in town that has decent, fresh bagels too!

Zip Pani has always been a great place to enjoy a good food, coffee and excellent atomsphere. Both Brad & Renee have made this a winner! The southwest egg and cheese bagel with lettuce, tomatoes and onion is so good!!!! Their NEW location in Amber Meadows is worth the visit!
