This shop and their handmade candles are everything!! I was so excited to find that this nifty little shop has taken on creating their own long-lasting, strongly- scented candles as well as staying true to their fine jewelry and nic-nacs. A big thank you to Wade behind the counter for being beyond helpful and a delight to talk to. I found perfectly scented candles as holiday gifts for my family and friends. Excited to make shopping at the Urban Cottage a habit!

I love everything about this store. The vegan bags are amazing, but the hand poured candles are by far my favorite thing. If only theyd bring back the fresh baked bread candles.

I love this store soooo much! It’s adorable and unique. Their candles are amazing! I have one burning now and my house smells delicious. I’ve gotten the cutest jewelry and home decor items from there. I even got a knit beanie and the pence is on point with other stores. Was very surprised how well made it was for the cost. I could spend hours shopping here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Definitely check it out if you haven’t done so yet!!

This place is absolutely ADORABLE. The candles smell amazing and are hand poured. The young lady who helped us was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. And the upstairs looks like there should be a 1920s version of A Midsummer Nights Dream being performed in it. Go visit! Great shop!

I love the customer service and selection of beautiful products that they have in their store! I cant wait to stock up on scarves, mittens, candles, purses and other goodies. It has been my go-to place for Christmas shopping. I have enjoyed the employees there as well because they always engage me in conversation or ask if I need help, which isnt always the case in most stores.

I was very impressed with Betty and Katie. I ordered some bracelets on line, and they offered Contactless delivery inside the Frederick city limits. Betty said that I was outside of city limits, but she would have my order to me the next day, because they wanted Moms to get their orders before Mother’s Day. I was so grateful and excited to have my bracelets so quickly.

Urban Cottage is one of my favorite stops when Im in Frederick. The displays and chandeliers drew me in a few years ago and I always find my way back. The store is so whimsical and carries lots of unique fragrances, cards, beauty products, specialty and home items. If you need a unique gift this is the place to go to find something special.

This store is full of many gems. It is a delight to walk through and even better when you get to leave with a bag full of new treasures. It has definitely made my husbands Christmas shopping easier
