One of the best motorcycle dealerships Ive ever worked with. Ian and his team are a bunch of good guys and will take great care of you, you really feel like youre one of THEIR customers and not just a Triumph/Yamaha owner. Prices are extremely fair, and they will go out of their way to help you out when it comes to service too. Highly recommended!
Amazing customer service. This privately owned local business excels at finding the right gear for the right rider, whether youre 11 (like my son) or 91 (like my granddad). Looking for a motorcycle? Look no further. Ill definitely be back when I need a new dirt bike.
Worked with Ian and he was able to work with my hectic work schedule. Working 6 days a week, its kinda rough to set up an appointment and do all the things for purchasing a bike. For Ian to make adjustments to fit my schedule and come in on New years day to sign and pay for the bike was nothing short of amazing. Thank you for your dedication to customer service!
This is a great mom and pop shop very nice people. Check them out
Great place, great staff, great prices- I HIGHLY recommend this shop for all your motorcycle needs! I have purchased multiple Motorcycles and Dirtbikes from them, the Deals are always tremendous and Ian makes it super easy!Happy customer!
Richard and Ian Riley were great to work with on buying a used Triumph motorcycle. Great store for all your riding; street bikes, dirt bikes and UTVs.They have something for everyone and every age. And most importantly honest and trustworthy guys.
A genuine family run motorcycle shop. The Riley family are a Frederick institution and a major element of the Frederick motorcycle community. Knowledgeable about and engaged in just about every facet of motorcycling from touring to the national racing circuits - and quads to!The first time I walked into Fredericktown Yamaha & Triumph a total stranger, but I left having met new friends. Its the hometown motorcycle shop!
Stopped in for some parts for my Yamaha got sticker shock, staff very friendly, now I see why people are going online, I am a die hard shop in store fan, this saddens me, will not be much longer before places like this price themselves out of business.
Customer. For. Life.Cant say enough good things about this dealership. Every experience I have had with their service and parts departments has been very positive. My most recent experience was outstanding.I had to take my 07 Strat in for repairs after an unfortunate encounter with a guardrail. Not only did FTY make the entire process painless (they dealt directly with my Progressive agent (also: woohoo Progressive!)), but Quentin and the service team went well above and beyond what I would have expected. When I went to pick up my bike, they had washed it, detailed it, waxed it, and buffed it out. My bike was like new. When I decide to buy my next Yamaha, it will be from Fredericktown Yamaha Triumph. They have made me a customer for life with their excellent service, knowledgeable staff, and above-and-beyond delivery.
Excellent dealership! I bought my Triumph here and it was the best motorcycle buying experience Ive had. Everyone is very friendly and they helped me find the exact bike I was looking for. Great place - no pretenses, no attitudes. You can tell they really love what they do.
I took my Yamaha E-Bike in for service and was highly impressed with the dealership. Ian and Stephen went above and beyond to bring my bike back to like new condition. I could not be more pleased with my experience with Fredrick Yamaha!
Wonderful shop filled with very friendly people! Fair pricing, and excellent customer service. I recently purchased my Scooter from here and it runs Beautifully! Ian and Richard were so helpful, informative, and absolutely friendly and enthusiastic about their products and work. Thanks again you guys for the wonderful service! Highly recommend and 10/10 will return! 💛🤙
Great dealership. Ian is top notch, great pricing no BS. Bought the new SSR 300 r and the SSR 140 tr big wheel. I went there to buy a clutch lever for my 125 ssr, pretty much the next day went to buy 300r. Great bike, total quality, never question Chinese bikes from the SSR family. A week after that went back and bought 140 for my gf. I will support these guys for parts etc. Class operation.
Helpfull and verry friendly
Nice folks. I look forward to doing business with them.
Ian, Richard and Steven are the best there is! Super happy with the new scrambler! Best shop in the whole DMV.
Fredericktown Yamaha is the best place for all your motorcycle needs! I bought my 250F from Ian and Ive been back many times for maintenance parts as well as service a few times. Everyone is very friendly and it is obvious they care about their customers.I live in Fairfax, VA with a Yamaha dealer 15 minutes from my home. I will always make the trip to Fredericktown Yamaha because the service there is that good!
Just got an eBike there. Customer service is top-notch. And if you’re in the market for an eBike, Yamaha is worth checking out. They’ve gained a life-long customer.
Will be a life long customer. Have always shopped here! Ian and his family always put the customer first! Top notch shop for sure!!!
I would strongly recommend Fredericktown to anyone that is considering purchasing a motorcycle. I did some shopping around at several dealers across 3 states and Fredericktown was able to offer the best price and since Im local to Frederick I really wanted to buy local. Im very glad I did. I recently purchased an R3 from them and had some issues with it that were entirely self inflicted. Ian and his staff went above and beyond anything I would have expected them to do for something that was entirely my fault.Thank you guys again for everything and you have definitely gained a loyal customer.
I purchased a 2017 raptor 90 for my son Friday and took it back Tuesday. After 2 hours of riding, noticed smoke coming out the back. Had my son park it and checked the oil. 0 oil. The dealer charged $125 for service to a new vehicle at purchase. All they did was put gas in it, they were supposed to also look at oil. I bought the floor model since it was all they had. I put in a quart of oil and dipstick still showed only slightly above full. Now they want $1500 to take it back since its used. Otherwise to take the engine apart and fix parts and give it back. I find this small business to be a fake. If theyre honest people, they would acknowledge that you cant run an engine with little oil and think you can fix it as good as new. Yamaha has lost a customer and Honda has gained. Its not over.
I purchased a Yamaha 4 wheeler from this dealer. I was very pleased with how the negotiations and transaction went. I have since brought it in for service with again no complaints. The service department took great care of me. I continue to visit the shop for motorcycle and 4 wheeler parts and accessories, if they dont have it theyll get it.I like the small town, family owned feel of the place. The owner is often seen at many community motorcycle events, often running them and or helping out. I appreciate that the shop invests into the community that they serve. I will continue to come back.
Just bought my son his first dirtbike here. Staff is fantastic. From the salesman up to the GM, they were wonderful to work with. I also bought a helmet. Got home and the wife didnt like it. Not only did they accept the return but the GM took the time to find and order another helmet in the same price range. Ive been back in several times since and they are always ready and happy to help! Finally, they are holding onto the bike until Christmas Eve, so I dont have to ruin the surprise! All around great shop, fantastic service and good people!
I like these guys. Never had the pleasure of buying a bike there but Ive been plenty of times for parts or to look around. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful.
We had a very positive experience with Fredericktown Yamaha/Triumph. This is a family run shop, and the staff was very friendly and helpful, leading us to purchase a new Triumph Bonneville T120. They assisted me in getting the accessories we needed at a fair price, and on delivery day the new machine was beautifully clean and ready to roll. Ian even helped load up our new cycle on the trailer. Quality people and service...thank you.
I bought a Triumph T120 black today and the overall experience was fantastic. I even witnessed the other salesman providing great customer service. From start to finish the entire process was smooth. Highly recommend buying a bike from these guys.
Great staff! They answered all of our questions and we will definitely be doing business with them
This place is fantastic! Helped me get new tires for my bike after the dealership I bought my bike from totally screwed me over. Very knowledgeable staff, nice, and helpful!
Purchased a new Triumph motorcycle I was very impressed with the dealership. Richard and Ian were both great to work and went out of their way to make me feel like part of the family. Id definitely recommend them to anyone interested in a Triumph or Yamaha product.
Guys ALWAYS pleasant .Whether you browsing or buying youll always be greeted the same.
Only 1 other new 2017 Speed Triple within 150 miles and they still gave me a great deal. Bill was great to work with and Richard really gave it that personal touch and showed that he appreciates the business.
Ian and everyone else here is so welcoming and great. Its like visiting family when you walk in the door.
Called them three times kept on being transferred to parts even know I want to talk to service finally got a hold of somebody asked him if he could repair my brand-new dirt bike under warranty witch I just bought the day before and the guy said he would call me back and never did they all acted like I was bothering them Ive bought parts before from them and they were ok but their service department needs some new staff with better attitudes
A very friendly family like atmosphere with experienced and helpful staff. Great products and service!
Ive had nothing but a great experience with the staff at Yamaha Frederick. The parts manager is super helpful and Richard, the owner, and Ian went above and beyond when I way in a serious bind. Way to go guys. The shop is kinda small but they pack it well. Plenty of bikes, helmets and gear to choose from.
Still old fashioned great service. These people are a reason to buy a Triumph or Yamaha just for that reason alone. Highly recommend.
Friendly staff. Small shop. Pretty good selection of bikes. They know their market.
Went here for years and had nothing but stellar things to say, which makes writing this review a bit hard. Theyve taken good care of me and Ive referred several friends their way. Recently they hired a new kid at the service desk and I wont be going back because I can no longer trust the service department.I brought my bike in just over a week before a 3 week/5k mi trip to get an oil change and get a quick once over to have a second set of eyes make sure everything looked good to go. The kid at the service desk upsold me a replacement on my slightly bent front break lever (good job!). Days later when I hadnt heard anything back, I called and found out they ordered the wrong replacement bolt for the break level so it was going to take an extra day or two. No problem! Two days came and went but no update. I called on the third day. Wrong bolt again... expect another 1-2 days. Finally, the day before Im supposed to leave, I get the call at about 3p that its ready. I drop what Im doing to head over and pick it up before the service department closes. While paying my bill I ask how the once-over inspection looked. He said he didnt do one and asked what I wanted to have looked over. I replied with you know, basic stuff like chain, sprocket, and brakes... so the kid walked outside while I was paying. He came back and said I absolutely needed a new chain. Now, losing my patience (since theyd had my bike for over a week), I asked when Id be able to get that done. He said he might have one in stock and looked but to no avail. The part order would take another two days and Id have to either launch late or cancel my trip. I asked if there was anything else that could be done. He walked back outside and looked at the chain again. After returning, he said, Chain is fine and should make the trip no problem... it just needs to be cleaned/lubed. Imagine my confusion when just 5 minutes earlier the same person examined the chain and said I absolutely need a new one. He sold me the chain brush, chain cleaner and lube and sent me on my way. When I got home I inspected everything again myself and it was fine. Suffice to say, the service department is now being run like a poorly managed sales department. Youve lost a loyal customer and my referrals.
Ive been doing business with this dealership for a few years now and Ive always found them to be courteous, knowledgeable and always willing to help. Great folks!
Very nice, enjoyed talking to the salesman even though he knew I was just looking.
Richard is very helpful with accurate knowledge of the motorcycle inventory in his establishment and will recommend people who I meet visit him
Awesome dealership, great experience with the employees and owner. Would recommend coming here.
Very friendly staff gave me a customer oriented experience. They gave neutral advice without trying to push product on me.
Fredericktown Rocks! I had them do a 20K mile scheduled maintenance on my 08 VStar 1300. They got it back to me when promised and this bike has never run so well.
Took my bike in for service. Good turn around time. In and out in one day.
Super great people to deal with, will always give them my business
Wont go in this store again,... was looking around with a friend and the salesman did nothing but down grade Harley and I was even wearing a Harley shirt. If thats the only way to sale your product is by putting others down, maybe u need to sale something else
Ive been in the market for a new sport bike and this shop is right up the street from me. The only problem is that Ive stopped by there 3-4 times and theyre never open.....
The salesman was very honest and didnt try to upsell me on anything or get me to pay for services I didnt need.
Great place. Outstanding service department
Its alright. Not geared towards the sportbike rider and over priced
Great shop! Parts guy is top notch...
Ian and his team have time and time again gone out of their way to help me get my bike back together after an accident. I am a customer for life.
Very nice guys to talk to. I was only there for service but the salesman still took time to get to know me and showed me around the shop. However, their business tactics are a bit underhanded. They held my new bike hostage for 3 weeks, claiming I couldnt take it for safety reasons (it was an electrical issue). They blamed the manufacturer for low inventory/slow shipping - each week was a different story - but the manufacturer showed no record of a parts order nor a shortage. Only when I finally demanded the bike did they magically get the part and perform the work the same day. I think they were afraid that I wouldnt bring the bike back for service but were too busy to make it a priority. Ill go back but Ill never let them keep my bike overnight again.
They treated me well, and I got a great deal on the bike I wanted!
The staff is excellent and great customer service as well as great inventory and if you need it and thy dont have it they will get it and very fair pricing
I purchased a Yamaha Star Bolt from Fredericktown Yamaha in September 2015. This was my first motorbike purchase ever, so I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I worked with Bill Kline in the sales who was exceptional to work with. I actually went to look in to the HD 883 Iron from across the street Harley dealership, and on my way out, I saw the Fredericktown Yamaha and thought huh, there is a Triumph dealership here too? Lets see what they have to offer. I went in to see the Triumph, but the Star Bolt caught my eye. It looked good, felt right and the price was actually more attractive. So I took the price quote from Bill and decided to sleep on it. During the next week I emailed Bill and asked him if the Star Bolt was still available. He told me that it was so I asked him for the OTD price. What he offered was not too high, but I thought I should push my luck a little. I offered him about 300 less than his quoted price, and initially, Bill told me that it will not be possible. Later that day, I think an hour or so after his initial email, he emailed me back and told me that he can sell the bike for the price I asked, but I will have to pick the bike no later than Wednesday. I called him back, told him to get the bike ready because I am on my way. I went up to the dealership, gave him the initial deposit and picked up the bike the following business day. I dont think the whole process could have gone any smoother. Whenever I decide to buy myself the R6, I will be reaching out to Bill again.
I normally only go to parts but everyone is super nice and all the parts I bought from them work great!
Talked to a young guy in service dept. unfortunately I didn’t get his name. The guy was rude and very unprofessional. I would never take any of my bikes to this motorcycle shop. You would be best suited taking your motorcycle to JT Motorsport or another shop.
Over the top customer service without displaying pressure to buy.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff with competitive pricing. I always stop by when Im in the area
Best motorcycle supplies on town
The people that work here are so nice & helpful
Great service!
No nonsense or trickery! Comfortable with the purchase!
Very good guys, very nice selection of gear, and bikes
Friendly and knowledgeable staff and great bikes!
Great service
I brought my 98 vstar here for inspection and since then have had it serviced several times. Tom in service is extremely honest and gets everything done quickly and correctly.
I called them on the 16th of July to ask the price to set the points on a 75 Yamaha DT100. After being left on hold for 15 minutes, I called back and was told they dont work on old Yamahas and the Service Department all but said they dont know how. I am 69 years old and been riding for over 50 years and lived in many places. I have never ever seen a Bike shop that could not work on their own bikes. Never. You sure you want your bike fixed there? Not me.I would rather have left zero stars
Great family owned business.
Great prices bike the competition out of the water
Great customer service, friendly & knowledgeable staff.
Friendly service and knowledgeable staff
They always go out of their way to for us
Best shop in town
Nice place, the bikes are beautiful
