Do NOT leave your motorcycle at this facility; take your money and motorcycle somewhere else. I had three simple things that I needed done: install Kuryakyn brake, secure Corbin seat w/driver and passenger backrest, and install luggage rack. After seven days they managed to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that my motorcycle was there for. At day four I just happened to pop in and immediately noticed my Corbin seat was now ripped! Of course Ed (owner) doesnt want to take responsibility of the damaged seat. Instead he points out damage to the bike in the vicinity of the seat where the tear is. If the damage was a result of the bike damage then the seat would have ripped days before I took it there. Not to mention I have videos with date and time stamped showing the seat was not damaged prior to arriving at this shop. My seat was damaged when the mechanic rode the bike before securing the seat (one of three reasons the bike was there)and the friction likely ripped the seat. What reputable establishment allows this?Check the reviews people!!! I ignored the bad reviews because I thought, these are three simple things that any decent mechanic could do. Sadly I thought I could find one in this small business, but I was wrong! Dont make the mistake I made, take your motorcycle to the real professionals.

I can say alot about this shop. They were very enthusiastic about rebuilding my dream quad. A LT 250 Quadracer. They kept in touch with me every step of the way. Because of the bike being old we had 1 set back but they came up with other options to get the job finished. I had a piece of mind the whole time. The owner made me feel welcome and like family. Great prices also. Dont hesitate to go here for repairs. Thank you TIME TO RIDE

I had a very good experience. My Honda UTV needed a new starter. Ed and crew kept me up to date on the process by email on when my part was ordered and when it came in. They replaced the starter as soon as it arrived and let me know immediately. Total time was less than a week. Price was reasonable and email invoice matched the original quote. Highly recommend and I will be using them now for all my ITV service.

In and out for an inspection. Ed and Mike seemed like real cool guys with some cool stories. Lotta bikes moving through for work so their services are in demand. Fair number of common parts and fluids/etc in stock.Real up front about costs and time on getting things fixed. Blunt honesty may ruffle some feathers, but Id take that over getting the runaround.I usually do my own work, but if I run into something nasty Ill call these guys first.

Great repair shop! Took a scooter that hadn’t run in awhile here for a tuneup and a few part replacements. Mike and the rest worked with me the whole time, the professionalism in the shop is great! Updating my post. I originally posted on a negative experience without giving Time to Ride a fair chance to address my concerns. The owner Ed reached out and asked me to bring my bike in so they can take a look at my bike again. He was apologetic that I wasnt happy and wanted to do whatever it took to make me a satisfied customer.I brought bike back and they addressed my issues as a professional business would trying to keep customers. Bike is riding how I expect and its definitely Time to Ride! Thanks Ed!

All I can say is wow! I was run off the road Memorial Day and had substantial damage to my Harley. Ed took the the time to assess the damages and guided me through the process of obtaining the parts through their parts department along with their parts manager. The bike was completed in record time (I even had it painted through one of their mechanics) and I must say that my overall experience with To to Ride was a GREAT one. Everyone from their shop was so helpful and the cost of the repairs was more than reasonable. It’s been a pleasure to find a reliable shop with personnel I can trust to work on my bike......

I had my Vento 2004 150ccc scooter worked on about 3 weeks ago. The owner Eddie came right down to Caroline County for me and picked up the scooter. The scooter in short needed some basic matainence due to it sitting for about 3 years. Eddie was straight forward and polite throughout the 2 short days that it took to get the scooter up and running. The pricing of the work may seem a little high but he stands behind his work and has no issue taking a second look should the customer not be satisfied. Happy Customer!

Brought my 03 SV650 in to have a new speedometer installed (Trail Tech Vapor). The reason I initially decided on coming into this shop is due to an earlier encounter with Mike. Everyone at this shop is incredibly accommodating, and professional, from start to finish. Although there was an issue that arose, most shops would not handle it the way Ed did. He truly cares about his customers, and made sure I was taken care of. I wont hesitate to bring any bike to TTR, every mechanic here is knowledgeable and stands by their work. Have an old kz1000Rebuilding head and needed valve shimsThey are like postage stamps, they don’t cost much, but if you don’t have any, you’re not going to be mailing any letters. He had a large supply of new old stock shims that he let me take as many as I wanted, charged me a very reasonable price, and I just brought back all of the shims that I didn’t useto him. He later sold me a battery. At a reasonable price I might add.In this day and age when you can buy parts anywhere in the world, there is still no substitute for the local small business owner that can solve your problem in about five minutes.....Instead of waiting a week for a cheap, wrong Chinese part to come in the mail. The owner and his partner are knowledgeable helpful and heckuva nice guys. I’m going to have them order original tires for my KZ and I don’t really care what they charge me.... and I am cheap !!!

My suggestion is to steer clear from Time to Ride.Their labor rate is enticing, but you get what your pay for, which is sub-par service done by mechanics that do not ride motorcycles. They source their parts from eBay and charge on top. They are not versed in the requirements for Virginia State Inspection, how they passed the inspectors test is beyond me.Do yourself, and your bike a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Ed the owner is awesome and very helpful the service is great and they work with you if you have money issues and they are very customer friendly also. So i jus had my 08 cbr 1000rr engine go out and it happened after i got it back from them and i thought it was something they did but ed kept his word and said if it was something they did he stands behind his work and if they messed it up he will fix it with no charge if theres something wrong that his shop did not do then he would work with me on fixing it and we would talk about pricing once we cross that bridge and figure out whata wrong. So ed tore the bike down again infront of me to show me it was not anything his shop did and he took it apart at no charge and told me what was wrong with it at the same time for free due to the fact that iv had this bike in 2 diff shops and kept having issues with it and iv only had it 3months and ed took care of me n kept his word on everything and i highly HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place for anything you need done if if its from a new engine down to an oil change they will take care of you and will work with you if you need help and this place is A1 and i think im a customer for life now..... Worst shop ive ever been to. Owner is prick.First time, took bike in to get new bars measured for new extended cables and hoses. They had no idea how to do this.Took bike home and did it my self after a week of them trying to figure it out. Seriously, one call to barnett explaining what i wanted and they had the correct parts to me in a week.Tried this place a second time for a dirt bike thinking they could handle that... MISTAKE..The shop jacked up our communication and the owner called me threatening to asses storage fees If I didnt come pick up my cycle the next day. The bike was only still at his shop because he said I could leave it there as he might want to buy it. After I called (two times) and left my price on the bike (as a message with whoever answered the phone), I didnt hear from them for 2 weeks. That means balls in your court... The owner finally called me and basically insisted that I had never called and left any messages and that if I didnt come get the bike immediately he would start charging me storage fees. When I got there, the bike was in pieces. The owner refused to let me load the frame while he worked up the bill. Insulting! He acted like I was going to run out without the rest of my bike parts and stiff him on the bill. I was more than willing to pay them the $158 they charged for just removing the top end so I would never have to deal with them again.WORST SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!***update***... Owner Ed just called me to complain about the review. I edited this to remove an expletive reference... He had no recollection of the described encounter in this review. He was very confrontational during this call telling me if I have a of problem I should come down there and talk about it. Not in a polite way like, lets discuss this I want to fix it. This was more high school, oh you have a problem, lets go talk in the parking lot. kind of way...

Bottom Line Up Front: I would not take anything to Time to Ride beyond a scooter, or two-stroke motorcycle/ATV. Prior to the following events, my bike ran fine for 5,000 miles.3/13/2015: I brought 2011 Harley Davidson FXCWC Rocker C to Time to Ride for a service and to have a new rear tire installed for which I paid $523.78. When I took the bike home, I noticed a chip on the downshift which is indicative of a loose belt. They asked me to bring the bike back in to check it and I informed them that I would be getting surgery on my wrist and would be off the bike for 8 to 10 weeks and would bring it back in following that.7/24/15: I coordinated with Time to Ride to bring my Rocker C in, and took it for test ride prior to in order to isolate when the aforementioned chip was happening. Approximately 6 miles from my residence I noticed shifting of the rear of the bike and then a grinding noise emanating from the rear wheel. I immediately stopped the bike and called them. They responded and towed it to their shop. Ed informed me the following day that the rear brake disc had ground into the brake caliper bracket and that he would order a new bracket and correct the issue free of charge.9/2/2015: I stopped by to check on the bike and was informed by the new mechanic and another employee that somehow the spacers had not only been put back in incorrectly.9/4/2015: I called Time to Ride and the mechanic informed me that the rear wheel was installed correctly and trued. However, when he would brake during a test ride, the rear axle would shift and it was determined that the OEM rear axle adjustment spacer (P/N: 41694-08) was missing. I also ordered this part and the left rear axle spacer (P/N: 41359-08) and right rear axle spacer (P/N: 41242-08).9/8/2015: I emailed Ed at Time to Ride when I found out that the current mechanic working on my bike had quit. I also questioned him on his intent to charge me for correcting his shops error. I received no response.9/10/2015: I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Time to Ride. I also emailed Ed and told him that I had ordered the OEM Spec axle and adjustment spacers, and new bearings as well. I suggested to Ed that he install them on the bike on that Saturday. I also told him that I didnt want the spacers he manufactured on the bike because I didnt trust them, and that after he test rode the bike and determine that he thought it was correct, I would like him to take it to Olde Towne Cycle to be checked out. This time, Ed called me and agreed. However, when I came in on Saturday, there was no mechanic available to work on the bike, and we agreed to push it to Tuesday.9/14/2015: Ed, from Time to Ride called me in the morning and wanted to discuss me helping him out monetarily to which I told him no and reminded him that the bike had run fine before his shop serviced it. I also reminded him that he had denied replacing the rear wheel until I provided evidence that his shop had. Ed agreed that he had done the wheel swap and kept talking about a hypothesis as to what he thought the issue was. A short time later, he called me about the Better Business Bureau complaint. I informed him that I had filed it when he had not responded. He then told me that he wouldnt work on the bike unless I dropped it and that he felt he should charge me due to the possibility of me seeking monetary compensation for his shops error. At this point I had the bike towed to Olde Towne Cycle.I would not recommend bringing any bike, especially a Harley Davidson to Time to Ride. Due to their error, should the bike have experienced a catastrophic failure, the outcome would have been deadly.
