This dealer Sold me a used Car that had an outstanding Recall and Diagnosed it with the recall condition and are refusing to fix the car. They want me to pay for a repair that should be cover by Toyota. This is not fair to the customer to have to pay for a recall that was not done or taken care of by Toyota for the Torque converter issue. They new of the issues in the Camrys from 2012-2014. Fight with them to get it repaired. I have been a 25 year customer. I thought I would have been taken care of better than this.

Having recently moved to Virginia, I brought my Tacoma in for regular maintenance and a state safety inspection. Setting up the appointment online had been easy, and staff explained their service procedure as I pulled into one of the drive-in reception bays. My service advisor, Chris C., located my vehicle’s service history and arranged my ride home. He called the next morning to report a brake light issue on the camper shell that needed to be connected. I agreed to have the Sheehy service team perform the work on the truck, and asked to drop off my other vehicle, a Prius Prime, for its safety inspection when picking up the Tacoma. One day later, both inspection stickers are attached and the trucks brake light wiring looks great. Throughout the process, Chris communicated in a timely and personable fashion, and strove to solve my service issues as efficiently as possible. Thanks Chris!

I was unfortunate enough to get a screw in my less than a year old tire after a recent trip to DC. I called an spoke with Chris Cooper regarding the situation and he went above and beyond to help. Our experience was absolutely wonderful from the second we got out of the car. Sean Davis greeted us with a warm smile. My husband and I started talking to him like he was an old friend and we got the same in return. Our time was valuable to them and we love it. Literally in and out in no time. All questions were answered quickly and with patience. We loved our time there. I recommend anyone to go see them for a car. They were excellent.

I left my 06 Tundra at home for 6 months while working out of town. Though it was driven short distances during that time, it seems some rodents had made a home of the air intake. After returning home, I made it more than 600 miles on the way to my sisters wedding before the debris trashed a pump and left me crawling at around 50 mph on I-95. I limped off the next exit, called Sheehy and told Josh my situation and where I was. At that point, I thought it was my transmission. I was able to drive it in to them. They put me at the front of the line, quickly diagnosed the problem, put me in a very nice hybrid loaner at no rental charge, and I made it to the Outer Banks of NC just in time to escort my sister to the beach. They had my truck ready to pick up the next day. To say that I got service would be an understatement. The folks at Sheehy really went the extra mile, and I cant thank them enough!

I purchased my vehicle in Nov of 2020 (2021 Toyota Highlander) . I have scheduled and maintained all of my required service appointments. This past Tuesday I had my 15k maintenance and they were to correct a recall issue and rotate/balance tires.When I left the dealership I noticed that my car would begin to shake profusely when idling. I was told to bring my car back in, and even the service department said that was not normal.They took my car back again for a few hours.The resolution “please drive your car a couple of days and bring it back if there is still an issue”.It’s been two days and the car is still shaking.I feel I was pushed off and they have no real resolve. I now need to spend another day sitting and waiting, for them to possibly still not resolve the issue.When I purchased my vehicle- I was told the service department was not top notch. (From the salesman)At this point- I completely agree.This was not the first time “they weren’t sure what was going on”. 4 days after purchasing my car there was a water leak INSIDE of the vehicle and they couldn’t determine the cause of that either.I then get a review request, and felt the need to voice my opinions. Of course- no one has personally reached out to follow up on my most recent service.

They took care of my vehicles recall in a timely manner. The only issue I had was after the work on my fuel pump, the interior of my vehicle smelled like gas. Not so strong as to cause a problem. But enough to be noticed. Overall I am happy with the service I received, and would return if needed.

Referred to Sheehy and to Wilton Fernandes, Sales Associate, by a close friend and frequent customer. Very prompt and thoughtful service. I had to do most of our negotiations and preparatory paperwork online, due to disability, and Wilton accommodated us with ease. Finance Manager was thorough and patiently explained all the different warranty packages. Our selected car was ready when we arrived to pick it up, and except for not having a full tank of gas (only 1/4 tank, if that), I have no complaints at all. (And I am sure that the gas situation was a prep oversight.) Wilton explained all the features of the car very thoroughly, and we were very comfortable with the prompt treatment and friendly service. As we are long-time Toyota owners, we expect to do repeat business with Sheehy, and with Wilton!

In today’s world inventory is low and pricing is high. I went to three dealerships in Northern Virginia prior to arriving to Sheehy in Fredericksburg. Each time I walked away not feeling good about the pricing and the overall value of what I was purchasing in the three prior dealerships.When I arrived at Sheehy in Fredericksburg I was greeted with great hospitality and service. I’ve had great experiences here in the past; however, this time was not! The shuttle was in the shop. So, a Lyft was arranged for me (out of my comfort zone!). I dropped my SUV off at 9:15 (by appointment) for an oil change, tire rotation, and asked them to check a tire that was losing air. I was told that it should be ready by 11:30 (my request). At 11:40, I was told by text that it was in the shop. I arrived at 11:55 hoping to pick it up. At 12:30, I was told that my vehicle was ready, but that I needed to replace the tire. The tire was in stock and could be replaced immediately. At 2:00, I finally was able to leave! This should not have been an all day event!

Great dealership to work with. We had a little incident and the way the dealership handled it was great. The customer service they provided while my daughters truck was being fixed was unbelievable. It was their mistake but they immediately owned up to it and made it right. I couldnt ask for more, mistakes happen and how they are taken care of means everything. Kevin the manager and Saige in sales, and the finance guy (sorry dont remember his name) also to great care on the 4 runner my daughter decided to buy and me buying my daughters existing truck. What a great group of people. I buy a lot of vehicles for my business from other manufactures but if Sheehy Toyota has what I need I will be buying it from them. Wanted to schedule an appointment to preform a recall service on my 2019 Camry, asked for a loaner vehicle while my car being serviced, first they said Toyota will not allow a loaner, called Toyota corporate was told I should be able to get a loaner car and the dealer will bill them for it, called back and told them what Toyota corporate said and they changed their story to we will try to accommodate you if there is one available when you drop your car off. Called Jack Tailor Toyota of Alexandria, they ordered the fuel pump, made reservation for a loaner vehicle completed the recall service in 3hours, was planning to purchase a new car soon, will not consider Sheehy they were a great company under the old name (Rosner Toyota) know they are awful.

Sheehys service department was aware of the particular needs - both physical and time schedule wise - and did their utmost to replace the recalled parts efficiently (no small feat in itself since the workings of the Sienna were rearranged to allow for the handicap alterations) and in a timely manner.

Our First Service in our new Highlander and could not be happier!! There was a line of cars in front of me when I arrived and I figured I would be there all day!! Within the first few minutes, the Service managers were coming out and getting people after their cars were done! I was impressed with how fast they worked and how they processed everyone in and out. Everyone worked like a well oiled machine and everyone did their jobs to get us in and out as fast as possible!! As I was in line, one lady came to my car to let me know they would be working to get me in and out as fast as possible and to not worry about the line. As I pulled in, the service manager introduced himself to me, filled out the data on the computer and showed me to the waiting area. I settled in expecting to be there for a couple hours and within 30-minutes, he cam out to get me and get me on my way. They have tons of service managers working, tons of people moving the cars around and tons of mechanics working, so there is no long wait times!! Could Not Be Happier

I made an appointment online over a week ago for an oil change; the first available slot was today. My wife dropped my car off 15 minutes early for the 2:30pm appointment, then I called at 6pm to ask for an update and was told that they wouldnt even start working on it until tomorrow morning!What is the point of making an appointment if its going to take 18 hours for an oil change? After Ive already waited over a week?? If Id wanted to be without a car for a day I would have just dropped it off back then.

Went in for a flat tire and Mike in the service department was amazing! He helped me through the whole process and was very professional. While my car was getting worked on I called to see if they could do a state inspection on the vehicle and he gladly told me they could. Called me back and explained I needed work done on a few things and gave me a time frame on when the vehicle was going to be ready for pick up. Mike was very helpful and made sure the vehicle was taken care of. When I did go pick up the vehicle I felt like i was in inconvenience to the young lady who was helping me out. I wish I could give zero starts!! Appointment time 815, checked status of vehicle at 1019 and was told one car ahead 😳 thought to self what was the purpose of appointment? Asked to speak to supervisor at 1024 because I needed someone to help me understand why my car had been there for 2 hours and still had a car ahead. Was basically told still had cars from the following day and was offered to have my car pulled without being serviced 🧐. At 1110 would you know my car was all of a sudden READY!! Of course I questioned if my car even received the service and was assured that it had. Upon entering the vehicle the first thing that caught my eye was the very same service stick still in place🤔!! I had a a 50,000 thousand mile service done which of course the oil had to be changed. I did not know till I got there that more things had to be done. Could these other things could of waited? 30 minutes turned into 2 hours which I understand I don’t want anything to be rushed, but cost seemed a little high..

I have owned or driven Toyota since I could drive, I like the cars and have never really had a problem with the service, until I visited Sheehy of Fredericksburg.I scheduled a VA safety inspection for my Toyota on a Thursday mid afternoon in the middle of September 2021. When I called to schedule a day, the Thursday was the only date and time available, it was over a week and a half out.On the day of the appointment I showed up a few minutes early but was told to sit in my car until I could be helped, despite only one other car being in the service lanes. After 10 minutes I was able to drop off my car and wait in the lobby area.An hour later I was told that my car was just then being looked at. An hour after that I was told it was almost done. 15 minutes after that I was finally able to pay and collect my car.I spent over 2 hours for a VA inspection. Not a service, cleaning, oil change, or anything taking actual time, just a safety inspection. There is no excuse for this. What was the purpose of scheduling an appointment?I also had to repeat all the information I had already relayed over the phone, which makes no sense.The only reason I am not giving 1 star is because they provided a license plate bulb ($0.25) and did not charge me. But I wish they had and been 30 minutes like every other dealership, Exxon, Sunoco, or auto shop in the state.Also, dont tell your customers they need to make an appointment when clearly you let people drive up without one.Update 09-21-2021: JT reached out to me from the service department to see what they could do to make things right. Unfortunately there really is not anything that can get my time back and I do not need additional service at this time, but I do appreciate that they take reviews seriously and have added a star back to the rating. I may reconsider future service, depending on the reviews between now and then (I read them too).

We took our 2017 Prius in because the computer said we had a hybrid problem. James wrote us up and had a technician check it out. They found that there was a bad part inside the hybrid system. They ordered the part and replaced it. Everything is now working normally. The best part was that the repair was covered under warranty! While they had the car, they also updated the software in the computer, also at no cost.

My appointment was at 9am. I arrived 10mts early. I was waiting for 3 hours. After I waited that long I went to the service desk asking why is taking so long and he told me that still working on it. I just want oil changed, tire rotation and check the window cause I couldnt close it properly. Nobody informed me that it was going to be a long wait. I wasted all morning. Service is very poor.

This was a very bad experience from the start. I was scheduled on the busiest day, therefore no shuttles were available so with no other option, I waited for 2 hours. Only to find out the mechanic broke my lug stud. And magicly I was able to have a ride! 2 hours later!!!. I hope no future issues arise from this incompetent workmanship. It is documented. Whats going on with TOYOTA?!?! Thought they were #1 apparently not anymore 🤔

This was my very first encounter at Sheehy as I am a new Toyota owner. I was receiving my first maintenance on my brand new 4 Runner. Staff was very friendly, dealership clean and accommodating. However, although I had an early morning appointment, and was told my simple tire rotation would not take long, I was required to wait over 2 hours. Staff also neglected to reset my maintenance reminder on my dash, so now I will need to figure out how to reset myself. I will give this dealership another try for next scheduled maintenance, but if additional issues arise, will be looking for alternative place to obtain service.

What has happened to the service? Used to be very good! Not so any more. We had an appointment today at 12 noon. We dropped the car off early a little after 7am. Told the service rep we needed the car by 5pm and let us know if that wouldn’t be possible. Simple oil change and tire rotation. Got text messages stating they would be letting know when the car was done. Tried calling and left messages later in the afternoon to check status. No calls backs. Tried texting back to the text message sent when we dropped the car off. No response. Decided to go to Sheehy at 5pm to see if the car was ready. Nothing had been done and service rep said he could try get it done by 7pm when they closed. We had to run to meetings and told him to text us when it was done. By 7pm still no calls, no text messages. Toyota was now closed. Being in customer service for many decades, I understand mistakes and blunders. It happens, but communication can help lesson the negative impact. Very disappointing fr what service used to be.

In general, service has usually been very good. Customer service personnel are polite and take the time to go over services. Unfortunately, I was surprised that when receiving a recent oil change that my tire pressure sensor light was still on. Granted, I didn’t say that my tires needed air, but I assumed the mechanics would do that as part of general service. So, I was not pleased about seeing that after getting down the road. It does make me wonder about what else is not being addressed that they see that I don’t.Polite service doesn’t do me any good if I’m stranded on the road.

The salesman, William, was very knowledgeable, professional, and responsive (five stars). Unfortunately, the business management side of the dealership is much less so (zero stars). Following delivery, we discovered a $2500 error on our final bill of sale ($500 deposit not credited and a $2000 charge for an extended warranty we did not want/purchase). Tim, the business manager, was to contact us to resolve the matter but has not, despite multiple requests.

He communicated with both myself and my son since this was his first car purchase as well as being in a different state and not actually seeing the car. As someone who hates the vehicle buying process and has gone through it 4 times, I can confidently say that Sheehy Fredericksburg does things differently and for the better. Wilton was my salesperson - he listened to what I needed, found the perfect vehicle for me, and was very responsive/communicative with me during the entire process. Tim was the Finance Manager I worked with and made the purchase transaction easy and painless (i.e., no surprises, no hard-pressure sales push for additional packages, etc.). Phenomenal dealership. I bought a car here and was connected with Andrei who took a lot of time finding the right car for me, giving me a great price, and helping me with a lot of logistics as I was an out state customer. He spoke directly with my car insurance agent, was very responsive, and not pushy at all. When I went there to pick up the car, Andrei took time out of his day to explain all the features of the car, made sure it had a tank full of gas, and make sure that all my needs were met. I had such a good experience that I plan on buying my second car from them as well.

My car broke down traveling home to NY from the Outer Banks, NC. I was unable to get a tow on a Sunday and thankfully the car was able to make it to Fredericksburg VA. The hotel told me that the Toyota dealer was located nearby and so I called first thing Monday morning. Cris C assured me that they could fix my car and that even though they were booked over a week out, he would try to fit me in that day. I dropped my car off and they gave us a 22 Camry to rent for the day and a list of places to go in historic Fredericksburg. What started as a difficult situation turned into a lovely day of sightseeing all while my car was fixed for a significantly lower price then I had expected. Thank you so much for your compassion and your excellent service.

On the first day of a cross-country move, we hit some road debris that caused considerable enough damage to make us think wed have to delay the rest of our trip. We ended up bringing out car into Sheehy Toyota with no advance notice and James and Michael in their service department took the time to look over the damage and review engine codes despite being fully booked for the day. They even topped up our fluids.Half an hour in the middle of the day meant a lot to us, especially since they had a full slate of scheduled customers. They refused any payment, so providing this review is the least I can do. I highly recommend this location!

Good customer service inside, quickly did my service work hours before they told me it would take and got me a Lyft ride home to wait there and picked me up when ready. The check-in process in the morning is a bit slow-it probably took a good 20-30 minutes waiting in my car to finally get checked in. They did a recall and my entire car smelled of fuel when I did get it-it was horrible! 5 stars for the customer service guy inside, 2 stars for check in, 5 stars for service time to pick up, 1 star for not properly airing out or cleaning inside my vehicle so it smelled like someone spilled fuel inside my car.

Unsatisfactory experience. Waited in line half an hour to drop off my car for a scheduled appointment for routine maintenance. Was greeted on pickup by an associate who told me car was ready but he couldnt leave a phone message (full mailbox) -- turns out he had me confused with someone else. In the end, car was ready 30 minutes later than promised. No explanation, no apology.

My boyfriend had an excellent experience at Sheehy getting a new Toyota.Unfortunately, I had the opposite of that at the used lot. They kept my drivers license, didn’t answer their phones when I called about it, and had to wait until the next day for my boyfriend to get it. The first car I looked at, the dealer “warmed it up for me” drove it around the parking lot fast three times, red flag. you should be able to fresh start a car yourself unless they are hiding something. AND they showed me the Uncleaned car. It was a smoker car, and it smelled so awful. If they really wanted me to consider them as an option, they should have to me they were in the shop and to come back another day. Car was overpriced $2,000 compared to Kelly blue book value. Especially for the bad condition it was in (inside and the drive was mediocre at best).I do not recommend getting a used car from them with that is close to 100k miles, unfortunately that is my current budget. But getting a new car or lightly used? It’s probably fine.Just letting people know be more aware at the used car lot if you can’t spend more than around $14,000.

The state inspector said my windshield wipers were torn, which in fact he ripped them on both sides of the wipers. I just used my wipers the morning I went to get my state inspection done. The wipers were just fine then. I wouldn’t take my enemies car here to have any work done because of the dishonesty at this dealership. Even though I receive some of my services for free I would rather take my car somewhere else and pay for the work then bring my car to the Toyota dealership in Fredericksburg.

The price he gave me beat the mechanic who gave me the original quote. He gave me a loaner car which slowed me to keep my appointments. I like dealing with the same person every time I come in. Very disappointed in service received today. Waiting time with appointment 2hrs for regular maintenance. Tire rotation not performed said lug nuts are swollen on Ford F150. I explained to service manager lug bolts were recently replaced so I dont think they wanted to take time to complete the service.

In general, it was a good experience but I still left thinking that I didnt get the best deal, that I still left money on the table. I hate feeling that I have to negotiate but this is a problem with the industry. I feel that the documentation fee was way higher than it should have been.The salesman Jim was pleasant and seemed eager to please, the car (used) was very clean and they were willing to negotiate with my trade in.
