If you received the flyer and think you won $5,000, don’t waste your time and effort going to redeem your prize unless you are in desperate need of a $2 bill. That’s all you get. Yea you called in your confirmation number and they advised you were a winner, hell they may even address you by your name right away, take your confirmation number, and confirm that you have won one of the $5k prizes making you think wow this is the real deal. It’s not!! The flyer is just a way to get you to the dealership, once there you have some other silly stuff to scratch and whatnot but what you won’t find is the prize money you thought you won. How these people think this is a way to gain a solid and loyal customer base is beyond me. You trick and lie to potential customers just for an opportunity to buy their used car?? No one who walked in with their flyer walked out a happy customer and could probably venture to say this will be the last dealership anyone would deal with.I’d walk to work before I would ever step foot in ANY Koon’s dealership again. In these COVID times where $5 grand would be a huge blessing to a lot of people, I’d tread very carefully with bait/switch games and lying/tricking people. I’m sure there are many who get this flyer, are told they won and have already spent the money before showing up. Not everyone can handle being lied to and tricked on this kind of scale.A shame this kind of business has made its way to Fredericksburg. If only we could have Ron Rosner back.

Monopoly Promotion is a SWITCH and BAIT . Received flyer in the mail from Koons. We played and the flyer stated that we won. I called the number on the flyer and asked the person who answered did i actually win the $ as stated on the flyer. All he said was yes and go the dealership and ask for the events coordinator. So I headed over to the dealership on Sunday. Once i arrived, i was told that this was not the case and that you had to use a scratcher etc... to see what you won. I spent my valuable weekend time driving to the dealership only to find out that i really did not win the $ as advertised on their flyer and confirmed with a phone call to them. I walked out of there with a whole $2 as my prize winnings.As a business you should not be marketing misleading games and promotions to the public. It leaves a bad impression on customers who come to your dealership. Before this promotion and flyer i did not have a positive or negative opinion of Koons . After this occurrence, i am leaving with a sense of distrust and a negative opinion. Your marketing is doing the opposite of what you what it to do !

My wife and I bought a 2015 Toyota Prius from this dealer (Koons Automotive) for about 13K. we are very disappointed about their service and their car. The car had an engine light and they said they will fix it they lied, they told us we have one month warranty and after one month they will share with us the repair cost 50/50 that was another lie. I took the car to a mechanic to check it out. He told me that the car has head gasket leak. I feel that this dealer simply stole my money while I am watching (I hope somebody can stop him from stealing from other people) We asked for a car that we can charge from the outlet, but they gave us a car that self-charge with a battery with poor condition. When we called them the manager (“Robert”), I am not sure Robert exist, my guess it is a code name to deal with unhappy customers since they have a lot of unhappy customers. The so-called fake Robert told me that what you should expect from a car 160K miles (the car has only 118K). I knew then that I bought a junk car. These people are rude and unethical and a bunch of thieves(be aware, their rating is probably tempered with). Probably, I will not get my money back, but I wanted to get my experience with this dealer out here so other people can be aware and be careful. My advice is to not deal with them at all. They are not trustworthy.

This dealership sells nothing but lemons. Then they claim they had no idea that the vehicle had problems. We saw a Nissan van for sell on their website. Contacted the dealership to inquire about the van. They told us the van is in excellent condition with only a few problems that keeps the van from passing Inspection. They said the problems are minor and shouldnt cost much. We thought, great theyre being upfront about what need to be done, if the problems are minor then well take care of it. They told us we just need to change all the brake pads and clear the foggy headlights. That was it. Purchased the van, with cash, took it home and bought the brake pads and cleaning solution for the headlights. My wife turns on the A/C, no cool air. I figured, okay Ill just buy some Freon and put more in the van. No biggie. I notice the rejection inspection sticker in the window. This van has more problems than they told us. Apparently, theres a exhaust leak in the exhaustion system, not only do brake pads need replacing but the rotors too, we have to replace some of the lights, etc. Were discovering more as we go. Called them back about the issues and how they lied to us. Their response was pretty much,too bad. You bought it, As Is, and that, We told you what we knew at the time. What?! Had they been honest about ALL the problems, we wouldnt have bought it. These people are thieves and were looking into legal action. In these day and times, dealerships such as this should be shut down. Just be careful folks. Stay away from this place if you dont want to get robbed.

Tried to let them fix damages they only masked the problem refused to fix the window the bullets caused to my car. Worst place to purchase a car !!!My brother bought a car with them, 1 month passed tags were still in process and they were just blaming on sells person who was gone from the dealership, she didint mention that we had to do a process in order to get our permanent tags (which we understand) in the main while they wouldn’t give us another provisional tags for more than 5 days which for us that time is not enough to do the process since we work from morning to night everyday.When brother bought the car all was nice but when problems start to come (as usual ) they were the worst taking care of them .I have personally purchased a car from this company but another location which customer service was SO much better !I wouldn’t recommend it if you are looking to get a decent treatment.

My sales rep was fast and sufficient with getting me into a vehicle! Customer service STARTED off excellent. It was about a month down the road that the hassle came. There was an issue with my tags, I handled responsibilities however KOONS DIDNT. I didnt receive my tags until about 2 months later.On top of that the vehicle that I purchased was damaged it looks as though it had been in a accident before. Moderate damage. However KOONS SOUTH of FREDERICKS promised to repair my vehicle.Stating that they have a dent guy who would come to my location and remove the dent. Well that NEVER happened and that promise was back in AUGUST.Another promise made in NOVEMBER that the repairs were going to be completed when I went to pick up tags MIND YOU THE CAR WAS PURCHASED IN AUGUST my vehicle is STILL damaged!I have done my part as a customer as far as communication and handling business. I kept in touch with Koons up until about December. I even kept them informed of my number change. I literally called 5 days in 1 week amd gave them my new number, even an emergency contact and on the 6th day they STILL didnt have proper contact info.After 4 months of false promises I gave up hope that the vehicle would be repairedHuge lesson learned..

Justen Thompson was a pleasure to deal with in purchasing a 2017 Ford Fiesta. Showed me several cars and I decided on this one because it only had 28k miles on it and it is very fuel efficient. The payment was also within my budget. Justen was not applying a lot of unnecessary pressure on me and was not pushy as some sales personnel can be. He made me feel very comfortable while I was there and followed up with me after the sale was completed to see if I was satisfied. There was a problem with the air conditioning blower motor resistor but it was replaced promptly by their service department in Stafford. They were also very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend going in to see Justen Thompson at Koons Automotive if you are looking to purchase a vehicle. He can definitely hook you up and take great care of you without all of the unnecessary pressure.

SADY is GREAT, We were in the market to buy a Range Rover Evoque for our son. My wife she found the Range Rover we wanted at Koons Automotive of Fredericksburg South on Facebook. So I went there to check the Car and first when I entered I saw this young lady Sales Rep. closing a deal with other customers, so she introduce herself as Sady. The way she behaved was professional and at the same time friendly and that was enough reason to deal with her only. I asked to see the Range Rover for a test drive. Sady is not your typical Car Sales Rep. She will made sure that as a costumer we will be satisfied. My wife flow from Michigan to come and look at the car before we close the deal and after meeting Sady she said the same thing that this young lady has gone above and beyond as a Sales Rep. to help us. There were some interior detailing issues that we pointed out to her and in-order to make us happy she actually went out and detailed the entire interior by herself for an hour or more, at the end we closed the deal and Sady was the main reason we bought the car from the KOONs Dealer Ship. I had appointments we two other dealer ships to test drive same model vehicle ( Range Rover Evoque) but with Sady’s professional and friendly characters I purchased the car from her (Koons Automotive of Fredericksburg South). Great Experience, Smooth purchase transition, and Great team at the management supporting her. Customer service great but 5 month later the car not so great!!!

I went here on July 15th to get a car and was told after maybe being there for 2 hours or so that I was approved but no paperwork was finished that day cause apparently it would take “2 weeks to get back paperwork”, never heard of that so they let me drive the car off the lot and then never called us back until a month later because they lost my paperwork they said and they also forgot about our deal how unprofessional, then a month later of waiting for this deal to be finished they now need the vehicle back because the deal wasn’t approved but was told it was at first smh now here I am 5 months pregnant with no car because they lied to us and it has happened to multiple people from my understanding at this same place

I give Koons 4 stars because the price was low and the car I bought is excellent. However, there are a number of things about this dealership that make me skeptical.After purchasing my car, I found some paperwork in the glove box stating that an individual had purchased my car from Koons just a month prior to the day I got it. This owner was not listed on the Experian report on Koons website. I contacted Koons and asked about it, but they didnt know anything about that. I then contacted the previous owner and asked why he got rid of the car after just a month. Apparently, he just wanted a larger car. It was shady of Koons to hide this owner from me.Additionally, while I was trying to purchase my car, they attempted to sell me gap insurance despite the fact that the value of the car was a good bit higher than the amount I borrowed for it. I refused to buy the insurance, informing them that there was no gap. The Koons financing officer played it off like she wasnt aware that my loan was less than the value of the vehicle. I think they tried to take advantage of the fact that I am young and had never bought a car before. They probably didnt expect me to do the math.On top of these things, the interior of the car was not detailed. This is a minor complaint, but for a dealership selling used cars, it should be expected.I guess I dont fully trust this dealership, but they had unbeatable prices.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this dealership. Katie was our sales person and made buying our van completely hassle free. My husband has little personal time because he works a lot and we were in and out in no time. Dillion the finance manager also deserves a huge shout out for getting our paperwork to us almost immediately upon arrival. If you want a no bull buying experience go see them.

I cant recommend these guys highly enough! Holden Boyd helped me find the perfect car, and he was extremely knowledgeable about everything from hybrids to muscle cars. I also never felt like I was being sold anything, instead it felt like I was being helped to find what I was looking for. All around a great group of guys!

Doug was awesome. We looked at a handful of cars and suvs in the inventory before landing on the one I was happy with. He literally spent an entire day to find me the ride I wanted. You don’t get that kind of dedication at larger shops anymore. Will definitely recommend.

Let me tell you about my experience at Koons Now. I literally purchased a car from my desk. I called koons and spoke with Katie. Prior to that, I had been to dealership after dealership with the same pick up line. We can get you in a car today. Every time I walked out unhappy. I called Koons spoke with Katie and I mean it almost felt like the angels literally sent her my way. She was very respectful, she heard me out and any questions she couldn’t answer she definitely went to find out. As I’m working Dylan took all my information and kept his word, he followed up every 30 min. He literally got me in the car, fully loaded exactly what I wanted, I leave work early get to the koons. Katie knew exactly who I was and made me feel like family as soon as I entered. My husband was very impressed and even more happy to see that I got a good rate, a good monthly payment, also that I’m paying what I feel the car is worth. We have purchased 4 cars through Koons. Every single time the paperwork has been messed up somehow and I have had to go back to the dealership to fix it. To me this is not only an annoyance but poor customer service. Its a waste of my time as the consumer because someone (the manager processing the paperwork- does not take the time to make sure the paperwork is correct the first time.)Beverly, our salesperson, was great for the last two car purchases. We thought she did a great job. But we are very disappointed in the actual process we went through- paper work wise.
