Probably 5 star quality but 2 star style. If you have a Victorian to decorate, this would be your place. I personally would like to see some more casual fabrics and styles.

Ive had a comforter from them for nearly a decade. Never thought Id get to their factory store, but i managed to now that we live in new england. Wow, what a selection!! And what great prices!! We scored SERIOUS sales on a comforter Im sure well have for life, a nice oversized King Battiste down comforter at nearly 70% off!!! Visit especially if youve got big purchases to make as a gift or for a new home!!!

Cuddledown has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I wanted to return an item and the shipping label had been cut off, so I needed a new shipping label. I ended up calling 5 times and sending an email. I was told each time the label would be emailed in 24 hours. Nothing. Finally I talked to a supervisor who said that they cant really email customers and they would have to put it in the US mail. They need to enter the 21 Century and have surely lost a customer in me.

Even as a discount store, this one is expensive. I was able to get a new duvet and two pajama sets.

I purchased two sets of bedding sheets and pillowcases along with a pair of pajamas, the bill totaled nearly $500. After checking out, I was assessed a shipping charge of $42!I can’t think of a single other business that would justify that significant a shipping charge given the total purchase price.Cuddledowns shipping rates are ridiculous, as is their $10.50 charge should you need to return some thing.I will not use this merchant again.

Probably the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Went in looking for some pillows for aCamping trip. We forgot ours. Wish we had known there was other better options near by but sadly we did not. We asked a few questions looking for a sale section as we did not want to spend $200+ On a pillow. You think the associate would point us to the clearance section but no... we found it on our own. Mandy tried to convince us not to purchase anything and was very rude about it. She said to me when checking out with my selection- “if you hit someone with this pillow it would knock them unconscious” we felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable the entire time we were in store. Never will be back and highly recommend you go elsewhere to spend your money. Not worth it

Their shipping cost are based on price, instead of size, weight and distance like almost every other company. That means their $639 pillow weighing >1lb. will cost you $50+ for shipping. Thats ridiculous! Please do something about your shipping fees, you are losing business.

Love most of their pillows but needed to return one that was not as described. Customer service said to take it to the USPS and mail it even though their website said free return label. USPS quoted $71 shipping for my $100 pillow so I emailed the company who said several times that “they would mail the label to me - 3 more emails, 3 more promises to send it, 1 + month and it’s still not here!

Love the products (pillows) but not impressed that if you ordered online, you cant exchange at the physical store. We had to mail the original one back and while waiting for a refund, purchase another one at the store. I would think with all the technology you could move inventory around a bit easier. (Inventory purpose was the reason given)

Bought a pillow on the phone with Heidi. Shipping was very fast! Unfortunately the pillow was not for me, and after contacting Heidi I returned the pillow and she re-send me two different options. Customer service from Heidi is great. And the pillows are high-quality.

STAY AWAY! This is a complete scam. We were trying to support an American company. Their website says Made in USA all over it; you pay a premium price; and then the cheapest, bristly, thin Chinese sheets you never wanted show up in the mail. When you try to call this Maine company, you get customer service in the Philippines, who says they hear it all the time. We even went as far as to call the outlet store in Maine, and the lady said, the owners dont want to put made in China on their website because that would be bad for business! Cuddledown is un-American fraud. We are returning everything out of principle, even though theyre going to gouge us on shipping and charge us to do so... It turns out their satisfaction guarantee costs $10 on top of the $50 it cost to ship originally.

Best pillows on earth. They last 20 years. Wouldnt go anywhere else. So many wonderful choices of different downs and synthetics, ticking cloths, sizes and densities. The help makes it a seamless process. Some great bargains in the clearance bin.

One of THE best place for top quality linens, and it has outlet specials. Cannot beat the specials! Been going for decades. Goose down heaven. Amazing accessories & even European slippers & other linens. ALWAYS something interesting, well-made, and/or perfect for that hard-to-find gift for the person who has EVERYTHING.

Absolutely FANTASTIC experience. I was overwhelmed when we got there with all of the different choices. The staff was patient and knowledgeable. They calmly explained all of the answers to my many questions. And even when we got home and realized we had inadvertently bought the wrong size, the store easily allowed us to ship it back to them for an exchange. Top quality product, and top quality customer service!

The prices here are really high. Excessively so. Some sale prices are ok. The merchandise seems really high quality, but isnt all worth the price. They have beautiful cards and gifts that were reasonably priced.I didnt buy anything because I overheard an employee named Charles speaking to another employee in a very nasty way about a customer. I prefer to spend my money in stores that value customer service.

The quality of items are wonderful! Little pricey though! When they have a good bargain I can usually find something unique to buy.

Its surprising that Cuddledown is still in business. Two times I ordered from their web site, received an item different than pictured, and then had to deal with rude customer service while they took 2 MONTHS to refund my money. Theyll tell you they take 30 DAYS to return your money after the merchandise has been received by their warehouse. What a scam.

Went in with my partner and some friends (another couple) to check the place out while we were out for dinner, I am a personal shopper/personal assistant, I have one client who raves about this place and another who loves locally made items and is looking for new bed linens, also saw a pair of slippers I would have loved but this was just a browse through to be able to better understand the products offered so I can relay such options to clients. Shouldve been simple however we were followed, harassed and awkwardly questioned about why we were there the entire time followed up with questions about if we were going to buy anything or not. To be fair at the end of our trip through we didnt realize how late it was and they closed at 7, we were told it was 659 so we apologized and just walked out as the associate awkwardly proceeded to question us all the way to the door.Im a former loss prevention manager I understand what they were doing, my partner looks the type we joke about it sometimes blue collar, beard, looks like he belongs on a motorcycle. Usually I can kindly engage with an associate, they are just following their training and doing their job, I strike up conversation including my partner and an associate will be more at ease to let us shop alone, this just seemed to make things worse. I have very rarely ever been made to feel so uncomfortable with such an experience, I felt like we were doing something wrong just by being there, like we didnt belong. I was pretty bummed.Suffice to say I will not return, hopefully Beans has some locally made bedding for my client and maybe some slippers for myself...
