I bought a refrigerator at this store, the price was not to bad. I guess affordable, Janey was helpful, polite and told me about all the options available. I even found out about a restaurant called Lancers, apparently they have really good food according to a gentleman that works at Venturas. Im from Tulare so I dont know much about good places to eat good food in Fresno. Ill be sure to try Lancers next time Im in Fresno. Very friendly staff. I totally recommend this store.

I sought out Ventura because I wanted to buy a washer/dryer from a local business, not a big box store. Prices were competitive, which is good.Since our purchase of a rather expensive washer/dryer set that was particularly advertised as having excellent warranty and durability ratings, service and support from Ventura has been terrible. It has taken weeks to have our problem addressed - Ventura scheduled one service tech who was not authorized to work on our machine brand, and the next they scheduled was not actually forwarded the description of our issue and left our home without fixing anything. It is a struggle to get Ventura to return phone calls, follow up with the service companies, or do anything else you would expect from an appliance retailer, especially after spending >$2,000.We will be taking our future business elsewhere.

Its my 10 Month after purchase review. My selection was a Frigidaire dishwasher where the prices started for stainless steel. It was shopped and purchased via the chat with Ventura via their web page. The washer has been an awesome cleaning machine; even when over loaded. :) Installation took a few weeks but was worth the wait. The service tech was professional and on time. I highly recommend Ventura. Thank you.

Got a great GREAT deal on a new Refrigerator. Its been working nicely and they even offer an extended warranty coverage for a reasonable price.We couldnt wait for them to deliver so the fee was refunded back to ME because my old one conked out on us.😁

My husband and I were looking on the web site and saw a refrigerator we liked, we were completing the form and suddenly lost all info. We decided to shop around. About 10 minutes later we got a call from Janie telling us she got our info, the system was down but she would check it out in the morning, my husband told her we would try to make it by tomorrow after work. We made it by, Janie remembered us and got us everything we needed. Thank you Janie, you deserve a raise.

Ordered a fridge on 5/28/21 with estimated delivery in 2 weeks. At the 2 week mark, my husband left a message for our salesperson, Dennis, to insquire about delivery and he never returned the call. Now its been 4 weeks with no fridge OR COMMUNICATION from the store. Talked to CS today and was told it is now on BO and wont be available until mid August. In the meantime, weve been billed for the fridge we never received and I have to WAIT for a CS Manager to get back to me on getting the order cancelled and refunded!! Completely ridiculous.VERY POOR CS. Will not return.

Very unhappy with delivery. This has been ongoing since January. I understood most of it but last week I was told the hood (which I had purchased but had not been charged for installation . When I paid for installation on everything else, why would I not have paid for hood installation?). Today was for installation for microwave with surround and I waited all day to be told it would now be the 16th of the month! Very unhappy!

I will only give then 2 stars because the salesman was nice and he was very informative for the most part. What they failed to tell me was that the mail in rebate for the product that I bought was only for Fresno or Clovis people I dont live in that town. So I had just have to eat the $100 extra that I got when I could have gone to BestBuy or a larger manufacturer and got it a lower price. I chose to go to Ventura TV because they were more of a mom and pop and not a big chain which was I was trying to avoid but shame on me I guess Ill just have to stick with the Big Chain sometimes because now it cost me $100

Would not recommend, bought a dryer that was damaged and since Samsung would not cover through warranty they left me with a damaged dryer that was just “new”. Not to mention Samsung technician did say this was not there first issue with this store. Ridiculously bad customer service very rude have never experienced this customer service in any other store. Money to the trash would rather go to Home Depot or another store.

I purchased a washing machine for a family member through Cindi. She was most gracious and accomodating. My family has dealt with Ventura for at least the past fifty years. They come highly recommended.

We walked in to this place didnt get greeted by anybody the whole 20 min we were there and there were about 6 workers.

The store is very clean, but they really need more sales people we were there for approximately 20 minutes, we were greeted when we walked in and that was it, they were busy with another customer, then they didnt have the merchandise that was advertised on sale on the floor, it wasnt until we were walking out that a very nice young man asked if we found what we needed, I understand that the pandemic has hurt all businesses but they could have at least said Ill be with you in a moment

We recently sold our home and bought a little ranch out side of town, needed new appliances and remember this place when watching over the air TV and seen there ad went down and got a new American made refrigerator washer and dryer new stove top and microwave, a heck of a deal.

Im 67 and have lived in Fresno all my life. Yet I had never bought from Ventura. What a mistake that was. I like the work they do with the ME tv channel. So I wanted to buy my next appliance from them. My fifty year old single wall oven finally died. I bought a 30 frigidare wall oven from them. They had it at a great price, their competitors didnt come close. The sales people were very friendly and helpful as were the ones who delivered it. I recommend them to any one who needs new appliances. I just wish I had used them many years earler.

We purchased a 65 inch LG led tv earlier this month, they had to hold it because we could not get a stand for it during the covid-19 shutdown. When the time came for delivery, they were very prompt, their installation team was the best that I have experienced in over 50 years. The installer was courteneous and very efficient. They had to haul off my old projection TV, no problem. I do recommend Ventura for all your appliance and TV needs. They provide top customer service, which is lacking in some of the big box stores. DEFINITELY A 5 STAR RATING.I will not hesitate to check with Ventura first when I need an appliance before I go to the big box stores, who in my opinion lack (personal) service

I purchased a Brand new refrigerator with an ice maker and water dispenser and the first day it leaked water all over my kitchen floor. It had a bad value in the unit.. It took 2 days s to get a repair man out to fix it. The repair push the refrigerator back and bent my copper line and again I had water all over my floor. He shut off the water under my sink and left. It’s wasn’t he problem and did care that he broke it. It wasn’t that way before and didn’t care. I also notice my doors are uneven which they removed before bringing my house. I called Ventura 2 days ago and they were going to schedule a technician. It’s been 2 days and no call back. I was going to buy a new washer and dryer from them but not anymore. Bay man appliance and air conditioning repair guy is horrible attitude is so sad to bad.. unfortunately it’s nobody’s problem. Don’t waste your money on new appliances because there broke units.

I recently purchased a TV and an antenna from them. They gave me great advice on the install of the antenna, which turned out to be very easy. Both work great.

My husband and I did not want a floor model washer and dryer and sales representative got mad and came at my husband with a attitude telling him he repeatedly told us it was going to be the one on the floor. So we took our 2000 refund and are going to take our business somewhere else.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have gone there and send my customers there when they need anything for TV antennas. I also use their mounting hardware when installing wireless access points on the side of buildings.

I cut the cord and am saving $50+ per month! Scheduling, install, billing, etc. was all very professional and worth the investment. Getting over 80 channels and it has a TV guide.

Do not buy anything from this company!!!! We purchased a refrigerator that was defective. From the moment it was in our home and plugged in, it made a load noise and constantly sound like it was going to shut-down. Ventura TV would not honor the warranty. The service man who came out said the compressor was broken and the cooper tubing. Yet, Ventura TV will not replace an obviously defective appliance. They are unapologetic. In speaking to others, I find out that Im not first person who has been taken by these con artist. DO NO SHOP HERE!!!!

I live near woodward park. The antenna installed on my roof is not better than the as seen on tv antenna. I cannot get channel 18, and the other channels are choppy and studder the reception. Ive had Ventura TV out to fix, and instead of moving the antenna, they stated I needed to chop down a Japanese Maple. I called xfinity, and am going back to cable.I am so disappointed, really wanted to cut the cable, but the family needs TV. I live in the city of Fresno! should not have been so difficult to get an outdoor antenna installed that works.

Bought what I thought was a new maytag washing machine, 16 months later I found out through maytag that I had bought a used maytag washer machine. The machine had a service record in 2 different states and a service record in Canada and now the machine is locked in thr lock position and will not allow thr machine to turn on. I confronted Ventura about my finding and ask for my $519 dollars back. They refuse to give me my money back. But would give me a different washer machine or have mine repaired. Very shameful for a company to try and make the customer feel at fault for there wrong doings, instead of accepting responsibility by placing the customer first and doing any and everthing to have a happy customer in the field promoting your company instead of having a disgruntle customer telling people to stay as far away as possible from Ventura TV and Appliances. Lowes, Home Depot, Sears, you name it would not do this to there customers. Specially knowing with documentation that they sold a used appliance as new. Not Ventura. Bold, lie cheat or steal for $519 dollars. Penny wise pound foolish. They need to be sued, but not sure there level of intelligence would comprehend even that.
