Amazingly Fresh! Met a local grower while I was in there. She was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back to get more fresh locally grown produce!

Shopped here for >10 years. I always loved the item availability, price & especially the experience of stepping into another country, for just a short visit. FRIENDLY SERVICE. KEY SPECIALTIES: Highest quality rice in large quantities @ good price. Back 1/2 of store: where local small farmers could have their fresh vegetables sold. Now UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, new staff. much less variety- only 1/3 amount of space left to local farmers produce. Still shop there but sad for change.

Every Manager/ owner of this market is lost. Most disgusting super market Ive ever seen. In 35 years of selling citrus clean. The manager says they dont clean meaning his employees. But hes the boss. They do what he makes them do....then he say what you bring wont be the same you show..... Such a life having no trust for people. Maybe thats why he doesnt clean his store.

Hey guys, Im sure you guys are familiar with this store Golden Bowl. We just took over this grocery store which now is named Freshco Food Center. Unfortunately we couldnt close down and renovate the way we were because we still want to be convenient to the community and let them know we are still open as we finish. It will still be a Asian grocery store but also other variety and international groceries. If you guys do come in now we are still doing remodeling so dont freak out! We are looking forward to speed up the stores renovation process so that we can get the grand opening date ready. we are currently stocked up on innovatory for the meanwhile, produce is also fresh. Also if you guys are wondering about the produce from the outside vendors yes will will continue to do that. A lot of customers are asking about the points that the other Asian grocery stores do, we will be doing it as well as soon as our new system and and registers are updated. I did read through the good and bad reviews which I will make sure keep an eye out on those. If you do come shop here and something you guys need a product or recommend please let us know and we will gladly bring it in. We are very open so we will be happy to hear customer feed back so if any complaints about the store or my staff please let us managers know and we will fix the issue. Slowly but surely this store is going to be great! This will be our second location in Fresno called FreshCo Food Center. Their produce is right from the fields!So fresh..lots of interesting veggies and herbs. Staff is very kind.

A good selection of fresh vegetables at low prices. These are mostly from local growers and the quantity is big for the price posted.There are other snacks, can food, and many items to buy. Get a cutting board, knife, or a bag of almond. Or have a try at playing the candy machine.There are restrooms for customers so you can shop for a while here without worrying.

Place is okay. I only go there for my veggies but like what a lot of the other reviews mention the store needs some upgrade and maintenance. The thing that bugs me is the workers(cashiers) they have very bad attitudes and are constantly on their phones only. They need to learn how to smile and greet their customers to. Last time I went the cashier stopped in the middle of scanning my items to touch her phone 😑 I highly suggest them hiring one or two English speaker who have good manners so they can help the non-speaking Hmong customers. Another thing is they never pick up their phone.

Im am giving this place 5 stars for their produce selection. You can find things like banana blossom, lemon grass, galangal root, moringa seeds.You know the area so dont be disappointed if its not whole foods.

This place is so dirty with unorganized things & the bad smell along with the hot AC & not much stuff you can find.. unless youre near this place then ypu can stop by but to go there intentionaly isnt recommended

I would come here for the Vietnamese sandwiches, but all of a sudden they stopped selling them. I also bought other items, but since they stopped selling the Vietnamese sandwiches, I no longer shop here. Please bring back the Vietnamese sandwiches. I now shop at another Asian Market nearby.

Its hard to tell whether its a bruised market or a Mexican market.

Every time I go in to the market I find what I need and all the employees are really nice to me I enjoy going to the store.

Fresh vegetables are available. Building need some remodeling and need better ventilation or cooling. Other than that experience is good.

This place does not take checks.. The produce is usually very fresh at the begining of the week. You can get very many Asian inspired items and ingredients as well as cooking utensils. I went to get the items to make spring rolls.

I was charged regular price for a sale item.

Well if I remember right I went in to buy something in the lady got weird and started song me around watching me everywhere I went it was kind of strange I felt alienated! But I do have a little business is there. I had got a bunch of Asian tapes and kdrama DVDs. And I was trying to sell them they were all brand new never been opened still in the containers I had 50 of them and I was trying to sell them for a dollar piece I planted the amount but nobody seems interested so I think thats the best there is at day with my tail between my legs thats why I said its an alright store God bless them

Once you get over the chaos and the mess, you will find a place to get all the obscure Asian ingredients you need at very reasonable prices. Decent produce selection also, although often forced to buy large bulk bags.Tip - the bahn-mi near the cashiers is quite good and fresh every day.

Parking is crowded and needs to be upgraded. Needs better produce organization. No Hot Foods because FDA did not authorized; this took affect many years ago.

They carry all sorts of vegetables & everything else but why not fresh meat? Stopped by a few times but just for drinks. Not a very clean store... need more attention to cleanliness.

This place has a lot of things but mainly its for food. You can get some everyday items from here as well as some decorative prices and jewelry. I usually come her for the noodles which has a good variety and their vegetables and herbs are pretty good.

The curry and noodle selection is the best part. I want to love this place but all the seafood is frozen and due to the smell in the freezer area, Im turned off of the perishables. Coconut milk, ramen, curry paste and the various bagged junk foods are the only things Id get here, personally.

Its has everything an Asian person will buy to prepare meals for his or her family. And prices are very cheap compared to the other super markets. YOU GETS MORE FOR YOUR MONEY. check it out when youre there. It worth it.

I love the the variety and very affordability of fresh locally-grown fruits and vegetables which you would have otherwise pay triple the price at either a national supermarket or local grocery store.The fruits and vegetables are delivered daily in the morning straight ftom the farm. Very fresh grown by the small farmers in the community which makes one feel good knowing that while supporting this small Hmong store, you are also supporting our local economy. They also have a wide selection of tropical fruits and vegetables like the famous moringa and turmeric.

Authentic score, Panjabi and more. Milk cake taste great, bon appetit tasty treat no mistake.

Overpriced

Its doesnt look like one of those large chain grocery stores and Im glad because they offer alot of fresh fruit and vegetables at lower price then competition. Meat is driven more so on the local population. I wish it had bit more English translation packaging but if you know what your buying its worth it to check it out.

I get a lot of my Asian ingredients at Golden Bowl. The staff are really helpful with packages that do not have English ingredients. This time I was looking for Miracle noodles, also known as shirataki noodles, or yam noodles. But as of now they do not carry them

They have almost everything you need here for your oriental cuisine. I always go here when I am in need of Asian products.

I am a Vietnam era veteran and twice Ive handed small change to the homeless in the parking lot. Upon doing so, somebody (with big eyes and ears) affiliated with the store has yelled at me in a foreign language from a distance. Listen, I can do as I please and if handing small, loose change to the homeless affects your business, PUT UP A SIGN NOT TO HELP THEM, and stop yelling curse words at a prospective customer who pays your wages!

No fresh meats, and i dont see any hot foods. Im not sure if they just dont have it or it gets bought out, but i’ve never seen any there. Pretty big store but looks like its the same asian stuff and nothing unique. Kind of unorganized layout and messy in some areas. Cashiers don’t really have customer service.

Youll be transported to a third world-ish Asian country where the vegetables are dirt cheap. Great prices and youll get a lot of vegetables that are hard to get elsewhere. Okra, varieties of eggplants, Thai chilies, squash, huge cabbage heads, mushroom, sea food etc. You also get authentic Thai Redbull. However, service sucks because its really hard to find someone who speaks English and will be enthusiastic to help you. But thats also why you get low priced items, I suppose.

Main focus of this store is the Fresh vegetables. Which are sometimes fresh but mostly a few days old. Maybe that the main reason the prices are dirt cheap.

Decent asian store. Not as clean as asian supermarket. However they do have a variety of produce, ingredients, and drinks. Produce are in the far back left of the store when you first walk in. Beware of elders cutting you in line also even though you have been waiting a long time in line.
